for the 3 year anniversary of JATP, they should release the Sunset Curve demo, or an entirely new album of Julie and the Phantoms songs with music videos
don't think I'll ever get over how tickled I was watching JATP for the first time during Edge of Great and how Luke kept expecting Julie to interact with him in that special way during the song and she was trying so hard not to and they had him so intentionally want it and notice it not happening and keep trying to get it. like I think about that all the time. it was so juicy. so fun to be in agony for their lil teenage romance during one song in her driveway. Perfect Harmony was nice but. I need more delicious experiences like that in shows
"I'm glad you stayed. We were stuck with Caleb. He forced us to join his band onstage, and we literally couldn't stop playing our instruments. He had some sort of weird, freaky hold on us.” Luke shook his head. "It took every ounce of my energy to get to the Orpheum."
"The important thing is that you did come back. Even if it wasn't your unfinished business, you couldn't miss out on playing there again.”
“That's not why I came back, and you know it." Luke breathed deeply before sliding his hand across the piano's surface.
Our fingers grazed, and even though the contact was brief, I felt a jolt of energy rush through me. My heart raced against my chest.
“You felt that, too, right?” Luke asked with an inquisitive eyebrow raised. And I wasn't sure if he was referring to the jolt of electricity that pricked my fingers or the general awesomeness of the night.
“Um, yeah,” I responded to both of those possibilities. I collapsed onto a pile of throw pillows on the floor, my legs too wobbly to support me any longer. "There aren't many perfect days like today."

In honour of Christmas grieve, for all those who watched Merlin and are now forced to celebrate- a collection of lovers (platonic, romantic and otherwise) who didn't deserve unhappy endings to their stories. For the love of all things let them be happy.
didn't they say that only love will win in the end?
Im new to this. I know JATP was cancelled ages ago but sometimes I love to rewatch it. Sooo let’s discuss: Which moment in JATP does it look like Luke fell for Julie. ( I think it was when they shared the mic in finally free and he said the line and you're a part of me)- And at what point does it look like Julie has a thing for Luke.
Nothing will ever top the desperation in Julie and Luke’s voice and body language during Stand Tall when they’re singing in the same mic because they know its probably their last time singing together and they need to make it count because they’re so in love with each other and they’re never going to sing like that in the same mic ever again, and they’re just not ready to let go.
My eyes snapped open as I pulled away from my hug with Luke. I gripped his hands, feeling his skin push back. "How can I feel you?”
“I—I don't know." He scrunched up his face, shaking his head.
I grabbed his face between both hands, my eyes growing wider when my hands didn't slide right through his ghostly form. Luke was very much solid. He felt real to me—literally.
This can't be happening.
