My abusive ex broke my nose. It wasn’t a joke. I tried to cover it with make up but everyone knew. No one I worked with even knew I was in a relationship and they all knew I’d been hit but I lied about it.
This woman is not telling the truth. An abused woman doesn’t joke about a broken nose.

As a feminist, I believe in equality. Women can be abusers and men can be victims. It's really that simple. Saying that a woman cannot be an abuser is not feminism, it is misandry.
Female abusers are NOT 'imperfect victims' anymore than men are. If you're an abuser you're an abuser. Full stop. Stop excusing abuse based on genitalia. It's wrong and it invalidates the victims of abuse.
I stand in support of women- and of every man. Men watching this trial with baited hope, men in tears bc their hopes of being recognized. Men who miss their children bc their Amber Heard falsely accused them. If you can't support them, you are the problem.

“this verdict is a setback for other women”
No, Amber’s lies are a setback for other women.  However, this verdict is a win for victims, all victims of DV, but especially men, many of whom has since come out to say they feel represented and finally have the courage to speak out about the abuse they’ve experienced.
And to all the others saying this verdict sets a dangerous precedent, well so does believing that someone is guilty just bc a woman said so.  Without actual credible evidence this can very quickly turn into a witch hunt.
And for those who will try to write me and my opinions off as being a Depp fan. I’m not and I never was. I watched the whole trial and created my opinion based on the evidence and testimonies provided.
