i hate disliking books that deal with like complex themes or have diverse casts because i wanna read other negative reviews just to like... idk get a final catharsis on my reading experience before expelling the book from my life but half of the negative reviews are always dumb shit like 'was good til it got woke' or 'why did they have to make it so woke'

like PLEASE i want to be among fellow petty haters not just BiGOTS

i want vague validation from other people but not like this

Hey y’all, I can get that people don’t like Kylo Ren, but you can catch these hands if I see or hear you body shaming or attacking Adam Driver.

Entitled little internet shit heads with their fake anti-bullying need to not be allowed to consume media if they can’t separate an actor from his character. Literally do not do it. And also, Driver has a healthy body. he’s fit as fuck. His face is very unique as well and he carries a lot of features europeans find attractive.

Also like are people still being a douche to John Boeyga because that shit ain’t cool either.

Just wanna say, I ship neither Finnrey/rlo or finnpoe so I have zero skin in the game. I just think, that there are a lot of double standards that are being thrown at John boeyga. Not defending his comment, however, I have seen far seen worse on the regular from the r fandom. Some ppl even saying Reys life purpose is to have ks baby, that she was born to save his soul from the darkness (a narrative on the same level of her just being used as a tool for the redemption of the male character). 1

I agree people treat rey like a tool and I don't like it. Still the r fandom is huge and there are always assholes. I personally haven't seen any bad people but that could be cause that isn't my fandom. Still making comments like this especially as an actor with giant following I think it's just not the right thing to say and now a fandom is getting attacked. A whole fandom of people that just ship two characters even though this shouldn't be about shipping at all. I don't think it's Johns Intention at all to send these people to hell but if you take a look at the internet anyone that even says anything about r+k is getting attacked and treated like less than a human being. Attack racists cause they certainly deserve it but leave people alone that have nothing to do with it see what i'm trying to say?
