I think I could write an essay on joey and chandler from friends and their relationship as unlikely best friends. on one hand you have the snarky, witty, emotionally immature, a little bit goofy, violently passionate, guards his heart like it’ll break, quarter life crisis-ing young professional who’s insecure in his masculinity and wants nothing more than human connection. and then you have this dude who happens to move in because of a dumb annoying neighbor. and he’s kind of suave, very trusting, generally immature, emotionally vulnerable, a little dumb, chick magnet, goofy, says it like it is, wears his heart on his sleeve, perpetually optimistic young aspiring actor who’s endlessly protective of his friends and family and would go to the ends of the earth for their happiness. they’re not exactly opposites but close enough, but somehow they understand exactly what the other is thinking and have interpreted for each other when one of them isn’t feeling well or can’t express emotions, and they’re joined at the hip and they have each other’s backs through thick and thin and they forgive each other without a second thought and they’re so supportive and they raised pets together and they just genuinely love each other and love hanging out and I just think it’s so healthy and so adorable to see and I just love their dynamic so much

I'm watching this Lawyer™ react to alt-right TikToks and there's this one guy that was super hilarious 😂

He wanted to find another "straight man" to buy a house with. He said the requirements are just that they have a job with an income because he wants a two-income home, he wants to build a dream house with them, no bitchin', no complainin'. Either of them can go out whenever they want, stay out late, he doesn't care, it's fine with him. He'd like if he would clean up around the house but if not, fine, he doesn't care, they'll hire a maid!

Basically he just doesn't want to deal with the bullshit that goes on with being married to "the opposite sex". 😂 And hey, I agree, that all sounds great!

And what it made me think of was Chanoey! That's basically the appeal of them, two young bachelors in the city living together, having a good time, best friends, never bitching at the other, always fun. IDK maybe they're just in my mind because of Matthew Perry's passing. But yeah... this alt-right guy was basically describing a healthy marriage with boundaries and respect and for some reason thinks two guys have a better chance at that than a man and a woman. 😅🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

The One Where Ross, Rachel, Joey, Chandler, Monica, and Phoebe Make a Pilgrimage? or when the seinfeld gang all made the journey at the same time but all for unrelated reasons and at the end when kramer starts a fight because he snuck in a ham sandwich for his lunch bc he insists theres a mistranslation in the quaran and that pork should be allowed and at the same time jerry (who converted for a girlfriend whos really good at an unspecified sexual act), george (lied about being a muslim to a really good yankee who was interested in converting and now the yankee wants to quit to study the quaran full time and everyone blames george for losing their best new player), and elaine (this one doesnt age well) all are having seperate arguements down separate hallways that spill into kramers fight and a small riot happens and all 4 see each other and jerry gestures to leave and they all go yeah lets head out and go?
