You and Me, in a Different Way (pt. 5-6)

Synopsis: Stands are the reflection of your soul, they show want you try to hide or feel, how do their Stands react to you or your own Stand? How would they react to your child, the combination of your bodies and souls?

Warnings: implied childbirth, parenthood and some problems that come with it, self doubt, very old music, some fluff.

Giorno Giovanna

Giorno: Golden Experience Requiem

You: Pink Floyd

Result: Space Oddity

- Let's be honest, there was a bet going on with the gang, most putting their money in that Giorno would never get a 'yes' out of you, only Bruno and Fugo had some faith in him, and they ended up winning.

- Because, let's be honest again, Giorno first advance wasn't the best, a good reason to have more than a half of the gang putting their money against him.

"So, I just stole this wallet, want to get some ice cream?"

"Do you wanna die, Giovanna? Return that thing in this instant"

- You had a hero kind of mind, he wasn't complaining but it was quite ironic by the fact that you would beat someone to a pulp if they did you any wrong.

- Like, he really wasn't complaining, especially when he got to see you defending yourself, it was appealing.

- So he changed his approaches, trying to help you, if you permitted, or trying to be more subtle about it.

"I can see that Pinky right arm is way more faster now" he couldn't give you compliments directly, so now he used to give them to your stand, it doesn't matter that your stand is one of the most monstrous out there, he even called it Pinky like a cute nickname.

"Oh, yeah, thanks for noticing" and of course you would blush a little, it would make him smile.

- Following what gave good results he just landed his first date with you.

- It was obvious that he couldn't just parade around just in his usual outfit, not because people feared him, but because he would be recognized and all the people would approach to give him gifts and practically push you out of the way, so he would use GER to change his appearance.

"I'm here"

"Oh, hi Gio- wow, quite the change"

"Don't worry, this is just how I looked before having Golden Experience"

- You would never tell him that you liked his incognito mode a little bit more than his usual self, black really suited him.

- There were many occasions, especially when you first started your relationship, when GER would appear to see you, since it got to be a stand Requiem it gained way more freedom, to the point where Giorno couldn't control it all the time because now it had free will and was totally sentient.

- At first it was normal, he would appear to see you and in rare occasions smile at you.

- Then when you and Giorno got... more intimate with time, he got the habit of sleeping next to you while holding you wrist, other couples would hold hands but Giorno always took your wrist, you figured that this habit was a result of his constant need to assure himself that you were still alive and kicking.

- The thing with GER also got more weird but he did something similar to Giorno, and given that it was sentient it was now normal to have it touching your neck to feel your pulse, you just let it be.

- But then it got way more weird.

"Giorno"

"..."

"Giorno Giovanna"

"um..."

"Haruno Shiobana!"

"What?!"

"GER is looking me sleep again!"

- Not exactly kinky if you know what I mean, but with time you stopped screaming every time that you opened one eye to see the stand just a few centimeters away from you.

- There was a time when Giorno thought that it would be cute and funny to have GER and Pink Floyd interact, but then again, it was a problem.

"I don't think that this is a good idea" you were looking at the two stands, GER had your stand hands in his, smiling at the PF even when it was growling back.

"Have faith in me, amore" Giorno kissed you in that moment, and, like you guessed, PF showed your true colors of embarrassment and did an uppercut to GER's chin with a war cry, your fiance almost flying to the floor.

"It can't be! Giorno, I'm sorry!"

"It's alright"

- He was fine, GER effects saved Giorno of the attack, you even feared that his stand would attack back, that would end in your death, but when you looked at the two stands you noticed that GER was still smiling and now holding PF hands next to his chest, not caring that it was trying to punch him again.

- What a strange pair of stand and master.

- Because anyone that was sane wouldn't hold the massive sonic destruction device that was your stand dominant hand.

- Giorno is very adamant on having a child, at least one, after marriage, not before.

"Oh yeah, very funny coming from the guy whom I had sex with after a few dates"

"I was catched in the heat of the moment and we always use protection"

- When your kid is born Giorno puts a line that divided his life in the Mafia and his domestic life, you were never an official part of his mafia life and he wished that it would remain like that forever.

- But he wasn't going to make Diavolo's same mistakes, so he showed his kid photo to some of his most close aides.

- And there was this other problem...

"It's black"

"It's pitch black"

"How come when the Don's hair is so blond?"

- Turns out that your baby inherited Giorno's hair, but the one he had before Golden Experience that's it.

- Many people started to talk about you behind his back, but he was well aware of this, it helped him to get rid of these individuals.

- Giorno had a heavy schedule but he was always there for every event of his kid, and when he couldn't then the baby had many uncles.

"I'm sorry that I couldn't make it"

"It's fine, Mista and Narancia are doing a good job"

"Ah, for me to be away on father's day"

"At least the cookies that they made for the father's aren't going to be wasted

"Wait, did they made cookies for this year?"

- He would never forget that, even worse when almost everyone got his kid's hand made cookies except fro him.

- Abbachio was the first one to notice your kid's stand when they reached 8, he wasn't pleased seeing how the water around him started to float in the air.

"I'm so proud"

"You spoil them too much"

- At first you two thought that it was all, a stand that could move water, which was good.

- Then your kid started to move sand around, or bend things around like a rock, or simply boiling things like plastic.

- No one had idea of what or how it happened.

- So, after your kid changed totally the surface of the earth around the house it was obvious that you needed a bid help or they would create another mountain in the neighborhood.

- Your cousin was of great help, and it also gave you an answer.

"You mean, They can do what?"

"I think that they can move particles or atoms, maybe both"

- You cursed Giorno's weird genes for that.

- And that same oddity reflected in how your kid called the new Stand.

- Giorno took in his own hands to teach his kid how to control his stand, he wasn't like Jotaro and shut them out of the stand's whole deal, so they kind of knew about it but could never see them, so they didn't had it so hard, but he would never let them enter the Mafia.

- It was hard, because it was a good and strong stand, even when it was little, so Giorno needed to use GER more times than what he wanted.

"Is it true that your stand is the strongest in the world, padre?"

"I don't think that-"

"You're so cool!"

"Yes I'm" both Giorno and GER said at the same time.

- Giorno would refrain his kids, if he even got more, to be near or around the Mafia or to anything related to it, it was way better now than it was in the past, but he still wasn't ready to let them be into that kind of world.

- Powerful stands be damned, he was going to protect his kid with all that he got and see them have a good life.

Jolyne Kujo

Jolyne: Stone Free

You: Chemical Romance

Result: Skillet

- Oh boy, well, given the fact that in this series we have Rei and his feminine counterpart that he used to get into prison because the kid can, and will, use his stand to change chemicals around him, even his own cells, so, yeah, he can be a boy or a girl, and when that happens he goes by the title of Sixth to continue the family tradition or like Brandi to continue Joseph's Tequila tradition.

- You two were teased from the moon and back when your relationship was know.

- The age gap didn't help.

"Just when I thought that there was something interesting going on" oh, the first one to tease you was your father, no doubt.

"Shut up"

- Apart from that, no one say much, but then there was this big deal of a man that can, and possibly will, kill you if you are caught in his range.

- And dating his only daughter without telling him first is a good reason.

- But Jotaro takes it quite well, Jolyne isn't pleased in the slightest that you want to ask for her father's blessing.

"You shouldn't even ask him"

"Jojo, I want to be civil, and also live enough to be with you"

"Ugh, don't start with your sappy speech"

- She likes when you talk in a romantic way but will deny it to death.

- It was quite the rollercoaster being together, sometimes Jolyne would be quite explosive, especially after a fight, she would storm off the room where you two had it and then don't talk to you for a while, but then she was also the first one to come back and say that she was sorry, it didn't matter that if it was her fault or not.

"Look, I'm sorry, it's my fault"

"Jolyne, I was the one that broke your favorite mug this morning..."

- You aren't sure of where this habit of her cane from, saying sorry even when it wasn't her fault, but she was still working on it.

- She wasn't exactly sure of what to do with her life, there were many options and in reality all that possibilities gave her a headache, so maybe she would apply to some technical career.

- She still makes fun of you remembering when you appeared on the confinement next to her, at first you only looked familiar even when she couldn't remember from where exactly, and then you talked.

"Hello, Jolyne-nee"

"..." She was sure that she heard that same words before.

"..." You, for another part, noticed how she didn't react, your stand then appearing behind you.

"... Wait!? Rei?!" Jolyne recognized the black stand with four blue eyes.

"I go by Brandi for now, thank you"

- It may sound like a joke but it's an anecdote.

- There are times when Jolyne is way too grateful with the power of your stand, it could change the chemical structure of anything in it's wide range, totally changing the whole concept of a living thing.

- Or it could help her when her period cramps were too much.

"Okay, I lowered the amount of your hormones, it may help you with the pain.

"Yeah, thanks..." It was absolute bliss.

- Jolyne, at first, is also way too attached to you the first month of relationship, you weren't sure if it was the result of her bad relationship with her dad or her previous love stories.

- As the time goes on she is a bit more open with her own ideas, of course she still takes your own ideas into consideration and not putting them as the first choice like before.

"What about this movie?"

"Eh? But I don't want to watch horror now, maybe some action?"

"Then we can try that" the action movie was generic, but when you two got out you heard that the horror one was terrible.

"We had a lot of luck" you would say and she would be blushing for a while, you only tried to encourage her to keep bringing her own ideas.

- Stone Free was a good stand, maybe not the fighting and tank type of stand like Jolyne's dad one, but it was good nonetheless, it wasn't exactly sentient but apparently it did hear what happened around, but it never appeared on it's own volition.

- Except when it happened.

- Let's be honest, when Jolyne noticed the changes she quite of freaked out, taking you with her and making the exam with you, it was a surprise.

- And she wasn't ashamed in the slightest when she told the news to her parents.

"You can't say shit about it when you two had me way more younger" uh, she was putting salt in the wounds even after years of her parents divorce.

- You still couldn't figure out in which moment you two conceived, you were always sure to use normal protection and the one only your stand could give you.

"Don't tell me that..." You were looking at your stand, combining and changing something so simple as DNA chains was easy for Chemical Romance, and it almost confessed when it showed you all it's sharp teeth to you in a smile, "You!"

- All in all, Jolyne was happy when your kid was finally born.

- She is such a good mother, maybe too doting from time to time, but you just guessed that this was what she wanted as a little kid when times were too rough.

- But your kid was already spoiled rotten when the time for the 5th birthday came.

- Jolyne, different from her father, would try to introduce her baby to stands as fast as possible, trying to prove that her baby could see stands from a very young age and being a constant in that.

"You can see Stone Free, right?" The baby would only do a few sounds, and for Jolyne that showed that they could, indeed, see her stand, "Did you see that? They really can!"

"I'm pretty sure that they can't, Jolyne"

- She is also the kind of mother that has the hard believe that her baby is some kind of genius.

"They put the square in the circle place but it passed! They really know how to overcome challenges!"

"Jolyne, that's not how it's supposed to work..."

- But just like her father, even when she tried to deny it, she is over protective to some point, maybe not like Jotaro who choose to put distance to protect her, more like she didn't want to be away for too long.

"Don't cry, baby, mama is going to be back for you before you even notice it" she is about to cry, but her kid doesn't even have tears on their eyes and goes on their merry way to their first day of school, "don't worry! Mama is going to wait for you!"

"Jolyne"

"And she will make your favorite dinner today!"

"Jolyne, darling, it's enough, they are already on-"

"No! My baby, it's too soon!"

- You dragged her out of there.

- Your kid is constantly teased for their big, muscular, hot and over protective mother.

"Goodbye mom" and now he was in highschool, trying to scape fast as possible from Jolyne before she started to kiss them in all their face, but it was too late, some kind of invisible force pulled them back to her the sound of constant kisses attracted the attention of everyone.

- Near their 16 years Jolyne finally accepted that her kid didn't have a stand.

- Just to realize the presence of an unknown thing on her kid's room in the middle of the night that very same day.

- Her first instinct was to fight, call for you, protect her child at any cost, but then she looked well and...

"Star Platinum?!"

"Mom?!"

"Jolyne?! Why are you two shouting?!"

- It wasn't SP, it looked alike, a lot, but it was your kid's stand, manifesting after so many years.

- Jolyne called her father just to tell him how unfair it was and then hangout, leaving the poor asking himself what happened now, truth be told she secretly had the desire that her baby's stand looked like her's.

- That doesn't stop her from helping her kid to control it, remembering how she had to do it all alone and how difficult it was.

- At first Jolyne doesn't have any idea of what your kid's stand can do, not even you, it looked a lot like Star Platinum but it couldn't stop time, it could move to big ranges like Stone Free, but apparently it couldn't do much, it couldn't even give more than a punch at a time.

- What a hard reality to the Kujo household.

- On the other hand it was pretty good repairing little things, a pair of powerful eyes and big skilled hands helped to do the job, but apart from that it didn't show any trace of a fighter.

"I'm sorry, mom" and of course, your kid always been praised by their mother, felt like she was disappointed.

"Don't say that" the last thing that Jolyne wanted was that her kid believed that she didn't feel proud of them, "whatever happens, I'm always going to be proud of you"

- It could take time, but at the end Jolyne will always be there for your kid if they needed her.

- And then one day you two were called by the director of your kid's highschool, apparently some classmates started a fight but your kid...

"Some are injured and in the hospital, two of them are with their parents and also searching for medical assistance, your kid was the only one to be intact, the police took them to make some questions and their testimony, of course the parents must be there"

"What?!"

- Jolyne called her father just to tell him that it was all his fault, Jotaro called you to understand what happened with his grandkid.

- If Jolyne was the over protective mom, Jotaro-san was the over protective grandfather.

- Turns out, that the one punch that Skillet could do had enough centrifugal force to move the internal organs of whoever was so stupid to be on the way, at least this time it wasn't fatal.

"Why would do such a thing?!" You asked when you two finally arrived with your kid, who had a few scratches on their face.

"They were talking about mom, something like she was hot and other disgusting things" at that, Jolyne started to cry because her baby defend her honor.

- Your kid was a Mom's baby, alright.
