Yes, we were robbed of 4 more seasons of JUKE and WILLEX content and that sucks! A lot!
But we were also robbed of 4 more seasons of Reggie bonding with Ray, while Ray still has no idea that he accidentally adopted a ghost.

the boys telling julie that luke’s been hanging out at his house with his parents is such a big deal if you think about it? about what kinda person luke is and how affected he’s been by the whole ghost (and dying lol) thing even tho he never shows it?
like you’d assume with his newfound freedom and unlimited time on his hands, he’d constantly be checking out venues, music festivals, record stores, new and old bands — he’d be glued to his journal writing songs everywhere and anywhere
you would think a teen who was itching to make it big with his music (and probably leave his hometown (yes it’s LA blah blah still counts) and head towards greatness etc etc) he’d be so excited to go to all the places he couldn’t as a 17 year old with barely any money/income — the possibilities are endless
and yet we find out that actually, when he’s not in the studio with the band or writing songs with julie or maybe checking out one or two places on the strip woth the boys, he’s been mostly spending his time at home. with his parents.
the one place he was so desperate to get away from when he was alive. the two people he willingly walked away from.
like. this ghost is a boy. a child. someone who desperately misses his parents. who has so many regrets weighing him down and pulling him back to his home where he just tortured himself by watching the result of his actions
it’s just. absolutely heartwrenching

I know it was confirmed that juke was endgame, but as I'm rewatching, I just... to all the people who were like nah, Luke and Julie were never going to be a romantic relationship, like...
I just watched a whole ass band ditch Julie to get back at Trevor, and the next episode is just Alex and Reggie (who were never explicitly forgiven, nor necessarily excluded from Julie's lecture about selfishness) trying to convince Julie not to be mad at Luke. "He's not as selfish as you think" Alex says.
Now why would they do that? Why would they focus on her forgiving Luke and not them if there was nothing special going on between the two?
