In retrospect he probably shouldn’t have acted so rashly — but there was just something about that kid and the way he looked at Julie that just…annoyed him.
But back to the present..
“Julie…why did your hologram bandmate just pop up and play a guitar solo for us? In the middle of class?” Mrs. Harrison asked, slowly turning to Julie who was sat shellshocked in the back row.
“Um- I-“ Julie stuttered, her ability to lie on the spot failing her yet again.
“Sorry Mrs. H!” Flynn jumps in. “I was testing out the new uh- the new model and didn’t realise Luke was practicing on the other side!” Flynn starts laughing, clapping her hands a few times before looking around and slowly sitting back down next to Julie.
“Right…”
Mrs. Harrison throws another wary look at both girls before turning back around to face the rest of the class, clapping her hands to get their attention back on Nick.
Nick who was standing at the front of the class still waiting to finish his guitar solo.
Nick who was staring hopelessly at Julie — the same Julie who was definitely no longer paying any attention to him or his guitar playing.
Luke couldn’t help but snicker at the look on the boy’s face, but quickly schooled his expression when he remembered the angry girl sitting next to him.
He turns back around to face her, and even though she was trying to keep the frown on her face, he could see her cheeks turning slightly rosy under her warm complexion, and a smile fighting to make its presence known on her lips.
Hah.

i’m rereading Daisy Jones and the Six and man alive, i hope when the show comes out someone manages to make a jatp au out of it somehow. i’m really not sure how it would all work, but there are so many quotes in here that are sooooo julie-luke coded, and daisy’s push and pull relationship with billy is so fascinating; what could have been, what should have been, how billy was writing songs for her to sing but she was doing all the things he swore he would stay away from for the sake of his family, how they end up writing songs together and the songs are amazing but the emotional part is too intense. it’s just so interesting and i would love to see something jatp related with it

twinkling watermelon is such a comfort kdrama. i’m loving it so much. it’s giving me julie and the phantoms vibes with the music and the band & the fantasy element. makes me realize how much i miss jatp and i still hate netflix for cancelling it :((
jatp lovers i highly recommend twinkling watermelon you’ll love it!! it’s an on-going kdrama right now with 6 eps so far. it’ll have a total of 16 eps :)

julie and the phantoms lives on. they win grammys. julie and luke's private but obvious will they/won't they moments are viral on tiktok after every concert, every interview, every concert. the music video for perfect harmony fuels rumors. julie, on a podcast, refers to the joy she has to work with her boyfriend - the internet goes wild. reggie and alex post a cryptic tiktok about third and fourth wheeling when two of your bandmates are dating. their next album single is the luke-penned wicked beauty, which describes julie to a t. before anybody knows it, they've gotten married before the start of their next tour. months after the tour wraps, a video of a pregnant julie recording new music in the studio is posted from jatp social media accounts. so many funny videos follow over the next couple of years of the band members trying to teach julie and luke's kids to play instruments. the four of them have bets on which instrument the two children are going to choose. in their teens, the siblings discreetly release an ep under a pen name that their parents don't know about, and one of the songs lands on the president's annual playlist. they blow up. nobody knows it's the children of julie molina and luke patterson until two years later, after they've released an album, and they appear at the grammys because they've been nominated for best new artist. they perform at their parents induction to the rock and roll hall of fame.

I love how he makes the active choice to tell her about the curse, that it isn't an accident. The jolt happened before he got there, but he was trying to tell her. It's a cool step in his character growth that he is trying to be honest even though he knows it's going to hurt her.

Rewatching jatp and just thinking about what must’ve happened behind the scenes in ep 3 after Flynn tried to text Ray that Julie’s lost it
Like Julie obviously just walked in the studio and was like “okay forget what I said when I yelled at you for looking at my stuff we have 30 minutes to do this”
And Luke was probably like “30 minutes? We got this”
And Alex was probably nervous because he’s been freaking out the whole episode and now he’s got to perform again and someone is going to see them
But they are nothing if not a supportive ghost band so they crank out flying solo and help Julie win over her best friend again

Respect Madison’s Privacy
The reason for this post is simple. Mads is coming out with her EP tomorrow night at 12:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. Myself and another Fantom friend already heard the EP in full on Monday at the listening party. For those who will be hearing it for the first time on Friday, they may hear things that allude to Madison’s real life.
If you have thoughts or theories on the songs on the EP, please do not post or comment about them to Madison. She deserves to keep her privacy and not be harassed about things related to her private life. Keep your thoughts and feelings private to yourself.
I am not doing this to shame any Fantoms who love Mads. I adore her to death. Which is why I made sure to support her at the listening party. I am doing this because as I have said before, some Fantoms do not know boundaries and act too friendly and familiar with Mads and the others of JATP.
Mads should be able to enjoy the release of her original music without fans or random people demanding intimate knowledge of personal things to her. Besides that, be sure to stream All Kinds of Love coming out this Friday, 3 June.
