i like that the reason any of us write jaskier as capable and strong and able to hold his own is because of joey and his clearly built figure because if you read the books, dandelion is about as useful as a wet napkin

not to be a conspiracy theorist but i genuinely wonder if jaskier and geralt's friendship would've been closer in s1 had geralt been played by an actor who would actually say his lines.

I think, as a kid, Geralt wanted to be or was really interested in knights and being described as noble (or "a noble idiot" as described in a fic i read) has to give him the warm and fuzzies at least a little bit

I’m just so sick and tired of the constant negativity that I can’t escape from no matter how much time has passed since the last season dropped and I don’t wanna feel like I have to justify liking this show despite its faults

i love immortal!Jaskier because he’d be so reckless if he lived forever. he could get eaten by an entire vicious animal and geralt will think “this is it he’s really dead” and jaskier would come back a few hours later with his detached leg like “so you didn’t even try to get me out you just let me get digested, geralt? do you know how traumatic that is…” and geralts not even listening because his bard is holding his own leg and gesturing wildly to the crowd with it.

and geralts concept of time is so damn wonky it would take at least three hundred years for them to be still traveling together for yennefer to point out that jaskier is older than him. and geralt is so put off by this that when he asks jaskier if it’s true he just says “how old do you think i am, geralt?” and geralt sits down for a long time
