Idia Shroud

I’m so sorry if you were expecting him to coddle and take care of you, but no, Idia will see an opportunity to not hang and to stay inside. But like, he has no idea how to actually take care of a sick person.

Idia will get you a bowl w a plastic bag, a cup of water, and might put some pain reliever on the night stand (that’s if you tell him to get it) and then stays in the corner doing whatever.

He thinks that this is the best possible way to get you to full health, and if you ask for anything else besides more water, medicine, or food then he doesn’t know how to help you

srsly it might just not be in his capabilities

Idia is queasy and he looks like he’s waiting for his turn to puke while holding your hair or holding water for you

he might actually throw up once you’re done..

on the off chance he doesn’t feel queasy, he’s still not looking at you cause the guy knows that his face is one of absolute disgust but he doesn’t want to offend you

He also doesn’t want you touching his game station, at all, he barely wants you in his room bc you might infect his everything

Jamil Viper

Jamil is the best at taking care of you, not so much as being there for you bc he will make you stay in bed, but he’s not staying in there with you. At all.

Jamil will walk into your room long enough to give you water, food, whatever and will consistently check up on you

but will not stay or talk w you unless needed

it’s not that Jamil gets sick easily, he doesn’t, he just doesn’t see the point in staying unless you’re in obvious pain

and he has stuff to work on and other Jamil things🥲

He hates throw up, he’s not like Idia where he’s extremely queasy w it

Jamil just really hates the smell and the probable mess

That being said, he’s making you brush your teeth and will force you to down mouth wash before giving you water bc he doesn’t want you to accidentally swallow your own vomit

(what a nice guy)

He also restricts your diet temporarily to easy to make soup (except he, for whatever reason, makes it more complicated and delicious than need be)

Chicken noodle, etc. it doesn’t rlly matter cause he’s not making you anything else, besides maybe different soup, and you’re not allowed in the kitchen until you’re not infected anymore

“No, go brush your teeth, you don’t need to swallow your own vomit, that’s going to make you vomit more.”

In summary, not the worst and actually knows how to take care of you so 181737272/10 better than Idia.

Rook Hunt

Probably the best caretaker here tbh, Rook is careful and obviously takes care of himself and has to know how to not.. die? ig, when he’s sick and has to know how to not drag it out longer than needed.

Rook knows how to cook (not as good as Jamil but whatever) and does it often

he’ll do constant checkups for you, to the point where it’s a bit annoying but endearingly? Kinda cute ngl

Rook also doesn’t get sick very easily, like, almost never- which is prob why he’s taking care of you, and really, are you complaining?

he’s not fond of vomit, but he’s used to other absolutely horrid smells and is desensitized

Rook will hold your hair back for you, or at least pat you on the back while comforting you

he already has both mouthwash and water ready for when you’re done<3

Rook might need to leave ofc to make food or something, but he won’t leave you alone for long til the next checkup

whicg is really when he’ll move in your room “to make sure you’re not lonely”

“Ah, worry not, I shall prepare some soup for you!”

hey a little tag game i want to try!!! order your favorite twst dorms from least fave to favorite!

Scarabia: their characters on their own are good but seeing them together makes me extremely uncomfortable?? it’s probably because the orientalism plus people shipping together..it’s not jamil and kalims fault but i have a complicated relationship with scarabia

Octavinelle: idk they just don’t stand out to me. jade is neat but i feel like the tweels are overhyped. don’t really have an opinion about azul

Savanaclaw: again the characters are great but. as a whole they don’t stand out to me. i love jack and ruggie but leona 😬 if you got rid of the sarcasm and smug expression he would be a cool character (i kin him more than i would like) but i feel like he’s wasted potential. also book 2 was the hardest to get through because it was so boring it really did them dirty

Heartslabyul: the card guys!! don’t really care much about them either..i usually like alice in wonderland vibes but their dorm uniforms are the worst things i’ve ever seen. WHY DO THEY WEAR T-SHIRTS?? other than that i don’t have much to say about them.

Pomefiore: THE GAYS okay they’re awesome. this is mostly because of rook i just really like rook. and rookvil. epels great to actually. also on the complete opposite note their dorm uniforms are amazing (maybe even my favorite) i would totally wear them myself. but even though they’re in the top three i don’t really think about them more than any of the other dorms.

Ignihyde: okay of course my second favorite dorm is the cute family. what did you expect. but also they are so interesting?? book 6 has been the best book so far especially with all the lore. also ortho is best boy AND LITERALLY A ROBOT. how can you not like precious robot boy who loves his brother. also their designs are cool the hades hair and teeth are very gender.

Diasomnia: you already knew this was coming. my beloved dark romanticism found family dorm<33 i am literally obsessed with them okay. not only are their designs peak gender but they’re WRITING is so. augh. just the contrast between them. we got two faes who are centuries old and have experienced years upon years of hardship. war. suffering. and then we have two (one and a half) humans who have never experienced loss. or grief. they are honest and hardworking and loyal, they represent youth and joy!! and yet they all have so much LOVE and TRUST for eachother it makes me go INSANE!!!! also you can never miss with gothic aesthetics and fairies…literally the greatest thing out there

anyways in conclusion i think any dorm that isn’t diasomnia and doesn’t have tragedy and fate weaved inside them are plain and boring. if i placed your favorite dorm low feel free to tell me why im wrong and why they are the best!! i would love to hear :)) (also feel free to include ramshackle too)

JAMIZUL, A LATE NIGHT CALL

a short story idea I came up with while on call with my beloved and wanted to write for Jamil and Azul bc it fits <33

They’d been on call for awhile now. Jamil doesn’t recall what urged him to call the Octopus bastard in the first place, but he certainly isn’t displeased with his presence through the small device. They’re just two mirror trips away from each other, but both busy with their own tasks that require them in their own dorms. If he had the choice, Jamil thinks he would’ve preferred Azul’s comfort in person.

The methodical sounds of papers turning and pen scratching from Azul’s end of the line fill the quiet silence of the desert night. Normally Jamil would hate such a sound, like the constant buzz of a fly around his ear, but truthfully he can’t bring himself to mind when it’s Azul. He zones out listening to it occasionally, instead of studying like he was supposed to.

And then he hears humming.

Jamil tries not to jump in shock as the Octo-mer’s voice flows seamlessly out of the little black box. At first, he assumed he might’ve just been hearing things but as he holds the phone speaker up to his ear, he knows that’s not the case. Azul’s voice seems so soft and delicate, a sharp contrast to his normal carefully crafted words.

His breath hitches in his throat. He tries to turn up the volume higher, but it’s already at it’s maximum.

Jamil wonders if he’s ever been so starstruck by the dormhead before then. He thinks, probably, but this moment takes the top spot of times he’s wanted to pull Azul into a harsh kiss.

The books Jamil had been looking at are left discarded on his desk as Jamil walks over to the window, phone still pressed close to his ear. The moon isn’t quite full yet, but it hangs so brightly in the sky already. The silver glow reminds him of Azul, and he wonders if there’s another celestial body that reminds Azul of himself in the way the moon does for him.

Suddenly the humming stops, a quick clink of glass can be heard. Jamil finally speaks, “Your voice is pretty.”

Azul sputters on the other side of the phone, choking harshly on whatever he had been drinking. Jamil can imagine Azul turning red at his comment, the bastard had always blushed easily. He stays quiet until Azul finally stops choking and finally speaks up.

“I—I forgot we were on c-call…”

It’s endearing. Jamil smiles. “How unlike you.”

He almost misses it, the light huff of Azul’s voice from the other side. Jamil wonders what expression he’s making, what expression Azul imagines Jamil to be wearing.

“Sing for me again?” He asks without thinking. Jamil can feel his cheeks heat up as he slaps a hand over his mouth for asking for something so stupid.

For once, he can’t picture what expression Azul is making. Is he embarrassed? Scheming? Did Jamil accidentally ask Azul for a deal?

It’s silent, for a long time, before Azul finally speaks up quietly, “Maybe next time.”

Jamil hates how his heart jumps in joy at that. It’s not even a full response, but somehow it feels like more than enough for him.

JADE is amused with your strong hearing and would sometimes use them for help around the Mostro Lounge if someone is talking shit about Azul or the Lounge so that he can tell Floyd to squish the shit out of them. Though, when he and Floyd were trying to get you into a contract…You knew what they wanted from you so you declined and ran away—

JAMIL is pretty much impressed, he thought that you’re magic-less! Well, rumors are rumors I guess. Nevertheless, he finds your enchanted hearing really helpful. Thanks to you, he knows almost everything, not the others secrets though since you don’t want to tell him. Jamil is fine with your quiet personality but just don’t pop out behind him please he was freaked out shit-less—

Your appearance? Beaute! Your voice? Beaute!! Your enchanted hearing? BEAUTE!! EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU? BEAUTE!!! ROOK adores you dearly and finds everything about you to be beautiful! With his unique magic and your enchanted hearing? That makes a great combo for the both of you! When he wants to find you, you’re already in front of him and when you want to find him, he’s already in front of you! Couple goals lololol

Congratulations, you have piqued LILIA’S interest! This fae also has a strong ear but not as strong as yours! hello suffering nonnie (2), let me just go back and screenshot my teams bc i do not remember them off the top of my head—

ta daaaa my teamsssss

pome team's the one with the least SSR cards bc i do not have any SSR cards that compliment pome except for beans floyd :'))) i did swap out robes vil with beans vil at times and used lab floyd instead of beans floyd when we needed water, but this is the default

ofc i got my beloved dorm azurid duo <33 they're legit a lifesaver + hween jade makes them so *chef's kiss* this team has a whopping NINE buddy bonuses which is so fire emoji sjfkdjsfk (also sometimes i swap out dorm riddle w/ lab riddle for more water spells)

this is the team that changes the most with each fight. the default is this bc we have two heals from lab jamil and gala kalim, but i swap out jamil's card a lot per fight. sometimes i use his birthday card for flora/water, and sometimes i swap to his firelit card. (originally this team was supposed to have dorm cater and robes trey, but i swapped to idia/lilia last minute)

these teams have been working pretty well in all the containment facilities + in the 6-66 fights, so i wonder how they'll hold up with the 6-67 final fights,,,,,

also for anyone curious abt spell levels and buddies, i'll put them below the cut

Notes? I was planning on making a Osamu Dazai! S/o but after seeing Thirteen, Raphael, and Meph made me shift back to Obey Me after waiting for the new lesson ( 61 ) for quite some time— Btw,, I wrote all of this based on my stupid memory about Belphie’s personality— Help 🐒😭

• MALLEUS DRACONIA. . .

- You literally made him have a panic attack omfg

- Malleus was doing his daily night walks as usual when all of the sudden he saw a figure in front of the Ramshackle dorm’s gate.

- He immediately knew it was you and ran up towards you, kneeling down next to you to see if you’re breathing or not.

- Thank the sevens that you’re breathing but then he realized…

- Why the heck are you sleeping in front of the abandoned dormitory?

- He shook your body gently and earned a yawn coming from you. You forcefully opened your sleepy eyes and turned your around to see a blurry figure in front of you.

- After you rubbed your eyes slowly, you saw Malleus hovering over you with a worried look on his face.

“Oh, Tsunotaro. It’s just you. Hello…Yawn…”

“Beastie, why are you sleeping outside of the Ramshackle dorm?” Malleus asked, concerned of your current state as he watched you stretch your hands sleepily.

You slowly stood up whilst holding your beloved pillow near your chest before yawning again “Oh. I didn’t realize that I fell asleep during my walk back to the Ramshackle dorm. Whoops…My bad.”

- He didn’t mind you sleeping and he doesn’t want to disturb your beauty sleep too. Malleus is just…Confused on why you sleep at random places.

- Don’t worry tho, you remind him of Silver a lot.

• SILVER. . .

“( Y/N ). Wake up. The bell rang.” Silver said as he shook your shoulder gently.

You forcefully opened your eyes and yawned, stretching your arms and rub your eyes whilst glancing at Silver. Humming as you stood up with your pillow in hand.

“…Thanks for waking me up. I’ll be going now. See ya, Silver.”

- Silver adores you so much omgg he’s head over heels for you—

- Cuddles everywhere!!! He just goes up to you and wraps his arms around you literally every time he sees you sleeping <33

- Again, old man Lilia is very happy <3

• JAMIL VIPER. . .

- Jamil is your personal alarm clock.

- Now his new daily routine is to come to the Ramshackle dorm to wake you up since he knows how much of a sleeper you are ( he does that routine once he already finish dealing with Kalim for awhile )

- He’d usually wake up by yelling your name from outside and if that doesn’t work, he’ll go into the dorm and go to your room.

“( Y/N )? Wake up. School is starting in ten more minutes.” Jamil said as he knocked on the door of your room. When he didn’t receive an answer but only a snore, the brunette sighed and walked into your room.

Usually, he’d see Grim beside you and is sleeping as well. But now? The raccoon type of cat left you sleeping. Jamil rubbed his temple and walked towards your bed, kneeling down to see your face.

“( Y/N ), wake up. School will be starting soon and I don’t want you to be late.”

Eventually, he heard a yawn coming from you and watched you rise up from your bed whilst gripping onto your beloved pillow.

“Mmmmnm…I’m awake…”

- You and Kalim will both have Jamil as a tutor for future tests.

- The thing that irritates Jamil the most is that the both of you just— sleep during his explanation 😭👍

- But! Since Jamil has a huge crush on you so he decided to spare you. But for Kalim? Hoho~ ABSOLUTELY NOT. /hj

• ROOK HUNT. . .

- ……………..

- Manz really watches you sleep from afar with binoculars /srs

- Calls you lots of French nicknames which you don’t mind but sometimes’ll annoy you—

- He suspected that you were a demon and he’s right.

“Mon amour, are you perhaps a demon?” Rook asked curiously.

Your spit out the drink you were drinkinh and took a glance at Rook in shock “Wait how did you know—”

The hunter chuckled “Fufu, as a hunter, I have my ways of knowing my prey!” Rook exclaimed.

“Hunter…Huh…” You muttered.

“Oui!”

- You yourself is still curious of how Rook managed to find out that you were a demon.

- You asked if he has seen one but the blond claimed that he has never met or seen one and the first time he met one was you.

Speaking of cards we want!! I'm lucky half of my top priority cards are free in the events. But still... so man🤧 I need Fairy Gala Ruggie and Jamil- Leona would be cool to have but he's not high on my simp list so his is just for looks. I want all but Rook for the Ghost Marriage cards. Silk Jamil and Mal....all Boa boys except Sebek...and Camp Ruggie! I need Camping Ruggie! But that's not counting birthday cards! I need Jamil, Jade, and Riddle.

oh yeah, i completely forgot to mention that i want every and all event cards / SR cards in the deck sjfksjd like i am a cOLLECTOR i shall collect them all !! hopefully !!
