Marauders Modern Music Taste

A/N: In the last couple of weeks I’ve spent about sixteen hours on a train. During this time, I just kept coming up with Marauders Headcanons so I’m talking y’all along with me :)

Warnings: None except maybe some shitty music

Remus <3:

Remus would be really into chill music, the happy, the disheartening, and the combos of those. I think during the time close to the full moon, he’d be really into The Front Bottoms and Hozier as he’d be feeling angsty, depressed and angry. When he was feeling less angsty he would listen to more stuff like Beach Bunny and of course he would still listen to things like The Beatles, David Bowie, Elton John and Queen.

James:

Even in a modern AU James would still mostly listen to retro rock music along the lines of The Ramones, Led Zepplin, AC/DC and Pink Floyd but I think he’d get into a bit of pop punk like Blink-182, Green Day and Sum 41.

Sirius:

He’d be similar to James but I also think he’d be a bit of a music snob. Not necessarily in a bad way but I think he get a bit of a smug look if James started talking about more recent stuff or pop punk stuff. After a while he would come around to the idea of modern music and with the help of others he would find modern music he liked.

Lily:

I think (like Remus) Lily would be into Beach Bunny and she would have gotten a bit into Girl in Red as her queer friends would have shown it to her. She would also be fuckin OBSESSED with both Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo and she would spend hours listening to ‘Skin’ and ‘Drivers Liscence’ and picking apart the two songs to see how they cross reference each other. Also, we all know she’s a swiftie, as she should be.

Peter:
