Guys Harry Potter has officially lived twice of what James Potter did.

Regulus secretly liked James but never acted on it and when he found out James and Lily were dating he joined the dark side because there was no hope for him (I mean his brother left him a year ago, the guy he likes is in love with a girl and everyone else in his life at the time was on the dark side so exactly what options did he have(my point proven)) but James unexpectedly meets him one day and ends up confessing his love for Reggie and they started to date secretly and while James wanted to break up with Lily, Regulus was assigned on the mission that got him killed and James was heart-broken but couldn't mourn much because he recently found out his parents had contacted dragon pox and their dying wish was to have a grandchild and so that resulted to James marrying Lily that same year and they gave birth to harry the next year but when harry was one years old, the bald voldy came to kill them all and James had really missed Reggie and saw this as an opportunity to see him again so he purposely went after the bald voldy without his wand knowing he would get killed and he would see Reg.

So now Lily has to watch as Regulus and James snog each other senseless while praying Mary should hurry up and die, but eventually Snape dies and now lily and Snape both watch regulus and James snog each other senseless while praying Mary and Lucius hurry up and die respectively (Snape: for fvcks sake Lucius you're in fvcking azkaban, just die already). Long story short everyone dies and they all live a life as gays. Which are Wolfstar, Jegulus, Marly, Dorlene, Rosekiller, Snucius, Drarry, Blairon, Pansmione and Linny.

But to be honest 1977-1981 was a very stressful, painful and sad period for James Potter imagine losing your true love, losing your parents and getting married to the girlfriend you cheated on for a year plus all in one year (1979)man that is fvcked up.

Does anyone else ever think about how Sirius would be so worried about Moony during the full moon, like the kind of worrying where you might just throw up. The rest of the time he and the rest of the marauders would be making terrible jokes about Moony having a time of the month or other jokes like that, and Moony would secretly love it. Because the rest of the marauders don't care that he's a werewolf. Unless it's the full moon, they forget about it, because he's their Moony.

Jegulus hc / breakup

Idk what is this, i was bored and sad. It's from James' perspective.

Regulus was cold. But he was also fire. He was dangerous and James touched him carefully. As if he was made of glass and could break. Lily was water and James needed water to live. We are made of water. Maybe forming a family away from the Death Eaters. Regulus was going down a path that James couldn't follow. Why was he doing this to him? Why was he making him break away? Regulus didn't want to be saved. That was breaking his heart. Perhaps he had never loved him as much as James did. Maybe he would spend his whole life loving him. Or maybe he should be grateful for the time they had spent together. Both would never forget.

do you think that james’s last thoughts were that peter must have been dead? like, this was james potter— james potter who made sure peter was always included somehow or the other, who considered peter as one of his closest of friends. 

do you think that james thought that his best friend was dead, and for a moment he couldn’t think of anything but the fact that peter, his best friend peter is dead? do you think he thought of sirius and remus, who would be so alone without peter, and him, lily, and harry?

do you think james grieved then, not only for the fate of himself and his family, but for one of his best friends? do you think his last few moments were spent wishing that life had been kinder to his friends and him, that he wished he didn’t put peter at risk?

because even in the face of death, james potter didn’t think that any of his friends would ever betray him.

Sirius, careening into the common room: IT HAS HAPPENED

Lily: It has?!

Remus: What's going on?

Sirius: It's official! I saw them holding hands outside the Potions classroom!

Lily: Finally!

Remus: What is going on?!

Sirius: James and Reggie! They're dating!

Remus, who has known for 1 month: And you're....happy?

"No," Regulus mutters, grabbing at James's hands which pick at cuticles, instead handing him a stress ball without even looking up from his own work.

"No," James replies sternly to Regulus's questioning of his love, always patiently reassuring him that he does not hate him.

"No," Regulus rolls his eyes as James shows him a giant stuffed animal in the store, pointing firmly at the shelf from which he took it.

"No," James shakes his head, refusing to allow Regulus to lift a finger when he is ill, fetching water and potions and food and all the books he needs.

"No," Regulus whispers to a shaking James when, after a nightmare about infidelity, he sobs in Regulus's arms, and asks if he will ever actually leave him.

"No," James laughs warmly when Regulus asks if he is annoyed with him, after he shows up at their shared apartment with more books.

"No..." Regulus gasps, shocked, as James lifts his shirt to reveal the R.A.B. tattooed across his hips.

"No," James wrinkles his nose as he looks at ring after ring, none of them being perfect enough or beautiful enough or amazing enough for the love of his life.

"Yes," Regulus cries, shaking, as James reveals the engagement ring he picked with Sirius, both of them half-sobbing as they embrace.
