Does anyone just live in a dirt house full of chests and furnaces? Did anyone go searching for the perfect type of wood for their build?

So, there are a few who don't have houses. Joseph, Jack, Rory, and Berry all don't have/make a house because they don't really need one

Joseph lives in the deep dark in an ancient city so he's covered for all he's concerned. Plus, building with anything but wool hurts his ears too much to make any progress. That mixed with the fact that he can't enjoy building for making things pretty he just sticks with what he's got

Jack lives in a nether fortress and can fly so he doesn't see the point of putting a roof over his head. Though once he gets his hands on some concrete or terracotta from Shaun he's gonna make the place look like a rainbow threw up on it

Rory needs to be in lava or on fire to be comfortable so he just sticks to roaming the lava lake and snuggling with Jack in the fortress. He will help him redecorate the fortress though

Berry has a whole ass mansion to live in, you really think he's going to take the time to build his own thing? The only thing he does build is a little stand outside where he sells flavored snowballs

Jean built himself an entire palace in the end, with the blocks he had available any how. He doesn't see flaw in it now but once you kill his mom and open the portal to the overworld for him he needs all these new blocks

Bo goes full on dirt shack. Motherfucker doesn't even have a door he just seals it up at night and breaks through the wall come morning. Bo is a strong believer of "If the crafting table is next to the furnace then it's a home"

Nick's house is very cozy if a little chaotic. There's a lot of sand, dirt, and gravel laying around because his main stim is moving blocks so it's a bit messy. He makes sure to clean up for company though

Shaun is very particular about his house. He knows what blocks go where even before he even knows where to get those blocks. He had to find a dark wood biome before he even started because he knew he needed a dark oak base

Ian builds himself a little...you know those rabbit houses where it looks like a mini barn but it's got multiple stories to it? It's like that but person sized
