— how they confess.

RIDDLE ROSEHEART will make sure everything goes perfectly. this is his big day! he wants to impress you, he wants to see your awed face. he is willing to collar anybody that dares to go against his plan. nothing will ruin it, this is his moment. first, he would invite you to an unbirthday tea party, just you and him. then, he would spend the whole evening with you before gulping down his anxiety and confessing. “i’m in love with you, prefect.”

baking will always be TREY CLOVER’S speciality. he goes along the flow, waiting to get signals from you. how does he confess? he confessed by leaving a box of homemade truffles on your bed, a sticky note attached to it. “i like you, [name]. be mine? yes or no?” you couldn’t help but swoon, a delicate hue decorating your face. you took out your phone and ticked ‘yes’ on the paper, sending a picture of the truffles and note you received with the answer.

CATER DIAMOND confesses through text. although he feels like it’s one-sided, he couldn’t help but notice the mixed signals you give him. do you like him or not?! so one day, he texted you out of the blue “i like you! no— i love you!”. you just got out of the shower and was drying your hair before receiving a notification from cater. a soft smile appeared on your lips as you texted back at him, “i love you too. where do you want to meet up? <3 :)”

it’ll take a millenia to get ACE TRAPPOLA to admit his feelings for you. nah, he likes you, but not like that. right? he is so stubborn. literally everybody can see the way he flutters his eyelashes at you 🙄 though one fateful night, the both of you were stargazing— you rambling your thoughts away. “i like to travel” “i like you.” silence overlapped the atmosphere before you looked at him, confused. “you like me?” he realized he couldn’t sugarcoat it anymore. “you’re an idiot— of course i like you. you’re so smart yet so dumb AND dense!”

DEUCE SPADE is so conflicted. should he confess or should he not? what happens if he ruins your friendship? agh, it’s so frustrating! he just wants to hold your face and kiss every part of your features! why must you be so complicated? he asks his mother, now this is where it led him. deuce at your doorstep, holding a bouquet of flowers while wearing a suit with his hair slicked back and a nervous smile. “deuce?” you stared at him then at the flowers. “[name], i like— no, i love you a lot! will you go out with me?” he trembles.

LEONA KINGSCHOLAR is too lazy to set up a whole ass plan for this. yeah, he likes you, he admits— but he’s just gonna go with the flow, relaxing while letting fate do this for him. it’s obvious to everyone that this lion has the feels for you— i mean... he only uses you (and only you) as a pillow, cuddle buddy AND he lets you scratch his ears?? fuck yeah he likes u. if you haven’t taken the hint, you’re either really dense or really dumb. “leona, do you like me?” he snuggles into your shoulder and growls. “you just noticed?”

RUGGIE BUCCHI honestly doesn’t know what to do. i mean... he does like you, but he doesn’t know how to approach you. screw that, he’s 100% sure he’s in love with you. he isn’t an expert in the romance field, what do you expect? so, there’s only one way he confesses. asking you out on a date when he thought he was gonna die during leona’s overblot :D isn’t that so romantic? “hey prefect, if we survive this, wanna go out?” “ruggie what the fuck”

what the hell is that. JACK HOWL is the dense one here, not you. yes, his heart beats at an abnormal pace whenever you’re near, yes he misses you whenever you are not near him but nah, he thinks that it’s normal for friends to feel that way. this fr made epel hit his head and tell him that no, it is not friendship. that’s legit a crush!! now that’s when he realized he likes you. yeah once he realizes he just goes up to you and says “prefect, i like you”

AZUL ASHENGROTTO plans literally everything out. unlike riddle, his doesn’t go as plan. everything went wrong and he is about to lose his absolute shit. why must he be so unlucky? jade is putting his hand on floyd’s mouth so he doesn’t burst out laughing. just as he was about to ask you to meet him, the first years dragged you away to create another batch of chaos that are legit nightmare fuel. now at the end of the day, he’s sick of everything and with a fake smile, drags you away from these goons you call friends. “this took me all day. i will not let them steal you away this time. i like you, prefect.”

the moment JADE LEECH realizes his feelings for you, his eyes would never leave your form. it becomes a whole ass mission to find out whether you like him back or not, and it wasn’t difficult for him to decipher your feelings. oh dear, what’s this? you’re getting flustered over simple things that he does. this truly amuses him, and he enjoys every second of it. he holds your hand and gave a gentle kiss on top of it, a teasing grin on his face. “prefect, would you be mine?” JADE>>>>

FLOYD LEECH is a pain in the ass. once he realizes that he’s in love with you, he’s glued to your hip 24/7, it’s not even funny. he always say “i love you”. those words are always leaving his mouth. you might take it as a joke, but he is not joking at all. now, on a particular day, he wasn’t feeling it. so you know what he did? “floyd?” he kabedon’d you. “listen, shrimpy! i’m sick of you thinking that everything’s a joke! do you want me to squeeze you as hard as i can so that you know that i’m in love with you?”

KALIM AL-ASIM is trying his best, okay? jamil was the one who made him realize that he was in fact, in love with you. when found out, he was dying to tell you his feelings. so, the only solution to that is *drum roll* confessing his undying feelings for you! now how did he confess? inviting you on a carpet ride (pretty cliché, but i agree w/ the fandom) and showing you the true beauty of this world. that moment he realized, nothing could compare to your beauty. “i love you, prefect! i’m falling harder each day!”

love who? yeah, JAMIL VIPER is not confident enough to confess. he believes that you deserve someone better, someone like kalim, not a servant like him. although you like him a lot and he is aware, he couldn’t bring himself to confess. i strongly believe that jamil would try to make you hate him so that you wouldn’t get hurt by him. during his overblot, he banished everyone from scarabia except for you— who he kept by his side. that is when you found out what he actually felt for you. “don’t you dare leave me. i have fallen for you, and you will stay by my side forever— i’ll make sure of it.”

now, VIL SCHOENHEIT couldn’t believe that he would fall for a rotten potato like you! what spell did you cast on him, oh dear prefect? you’ve got him wrapped around your finger like a thread. he is definitely one of the romantic types, preferring to confess face to face. “potato, i can’t help but notice how wonderful you look today.” thanks for calling me a potato, vil. it’s highly unlikely for him to confess, so you’re gonna confess first. then, he would ask you to meet him at pomefiore, he told you to ‘dress nicely’. “finally arrived, prefect? i’ve made reservations, just you and me.”

ROOK HUNT is folding for you. he would appear during the most random times, confessing his undying love for you through poems. “oh, mon trésor—” “rook we are literally about to die” honestly, everyone questions your sanity. he follows you everywhere, sometimes it gets on your nerves. so one day, while sitting under a tree, an arrow was shot right beside you. “I love you, mon trésor. will you do the honours of being mine?” you could only stare at the paper in your hands. what’s your answer, prefect?

believe it or not, EPEL FELMIER would rather dive off a cliff than admit that he wrote love letters for you. love letters? haha what’s that? he’s so in love with you, i’m not joking. he definitely imagine scenarios of him protecting you (prove me wrong LOL). although he is very nervous to confess to you, he needs to man up for the love of his life! and when he gets in front of you to confess, he wastes no time to tell you what he feels... in great detail. this is honestly a great view, seeing epel all flustered and ready to be teased by you and his friends.

IDIA would be caught dead before confessing to you. nothing, absolutely nothing will make him confess to you. so, you will be the one to confess to this guy. he is too nervous for his own good, and would rather die than go through rejection by his long-time crush, aka you. although ortho knows that you like his brother back, idia can't help but feel his anxiety rise each time he feels like confessing. so he goes nope. i'm good 👍. so the big question is, will YOU confess?

it is clear to everyone that MALLEUS DRACONIA has fallen head over heels for you. just the mere mention of your name has got him smiling and feeling all giddy. the confession happened during a night walk with him, and as usual, he can't help but admire you. “child of man, i have something to say.” you turned to look at him and noticed how gentle he looked at you. "what is it, tsunotarou?" he gently cupped your cheek and confessed his undying love for you. his eyes would glimmer with delight once he finishes.

LILIA VANROUGE prefers traditional ways of confessing. he is an old man after all. he tends to scare you a lot just to show that he cares for you. he literally confessed like this: lilia was upside down when he spooked you. with a grin, he handed you a letter that smelled just like him. it makes you think, did he spray his perfume on this letter or something? the envelope itself was very pleasing to look at, a beautiful colour of beige and rose gold wax seal. open it, prefect! what was contained either made your heart flutter or not.

SILVER prefers simple ways to confess. of course, he asks lilia for help. while he had his head in your lap, you placed a flower crown on his head, making him stir awake. “did i wake you, silver? i’m sorry.” his lips curled into a gentle smile, pleasured to wake up by seeing your face. you could only look at his delicate features that were staring up at you. silver closed his eyes to continue his slumber, but before that, he whispered a delicate “i love you.”

SEBEK ZIGVOLT simply yells out what he feels for you. it was quite an odd scenario, him holding on to your shoulders while his face flushed a red hue. the tips of his ears turned pink as he stared at your face, eyebrows furrowed. “sebek??” he gulped his fears away and took a deep breath before confessing his feelings for you. “human! how dare you make me feel such things? you make my heart flutter at each mention of your name, so tell me— what have you done?”

A dozen roses. (Twisted wonderland first years x reader

《Characters》 Ace, Deuce, Jack, Epel and Sebek

《Summary》: You and him had a fight. For whatever reason and the other would only be forgiven if they would be brought a dozen Roses, handpicked.

《Note》: This was requested by @cyn-write , it's the second part to the housewarden one! Hope you enjoy! established relationship. Also romance. (And maybe it's a bit ooc)

Ace Trappola:

Ace could be a bit of an asshole and not just a slight bit, sometimes his whole personality seemed to just exist to make him an asshole and that's exactly what you said after he dared to pull a prank on you that got all your clothes wet and your homework ruined.

He even had the nerve to laugh when other students started to point at you and whisper, telling you that you should calm down, but you simply walked out of the room telling him that he shouldn't talk to you unless he brought you a dozen of Rose's and slammed the door shut.

To say Ace was baffled was an understatement, he was shocked and littarly sat through the whole history lesson mouth open, trying to process just what had happened.

During lunchtime you refused to sit on his table, rather sitting down with Floyd instead. Ace was baffled and Deuce confused.

"Did you two break up or something?" Deuce asks worried, but Ace shakes his head, explaining to Deuce what had happened.

Deuce sighs. "Well Ace, you have a mission!" Deuce jokingly says, watching Aces fall...

Its officially been a week and Ace hasn't brought you any flowers, not even a single one. You sigh, maybe you should have looked over that prank like you always did. You sigh, leaning back hearing a knock on the Ramshackle door. You walk towards it and open it, only to see Ace hold a bouquet of flowers into your face.

"I really want to apologise prefect. I really behaved like an ass the past few weeks, I hope you can forgive me." Ace mutters and you smile prying the flowers out of his grasp.

"Thank you, I really appreciate your apology!" Yoh mutter giving Ace a kiss on his cheek.

Deuce Spade:

You messed up big time. You knew that Deuce was sensitive about his past and you still teased him about it. Maybe Deuce wouldn't have reacted that way if he hadn't been stressed out before by Riddle, but well it was your fault and blaming someone else would not help you or Deuce.

You sigh starting to walk around NRC thinking about what to do as an apology, since you didn't want to just say: "hey I apologise for teasing you that day!" No that didn't feel right nor correct, Deuce deserved a very good and nice apology.

Deuce on the other hand was thinking about everything being his fault, he walked up and dow the dorm, annoying Ace. Deuce wanted to be a top student and a better person than he was in middle school and the first thing he did was snap at you.

He looked at Ace suddenly grabbing both of his shoulders and shaking him. "ACE, HOW DO YOU APOLOGISE TO YOUR PARTNER?"

Its officially been a week and both of you had been spending time to prepare the perfect apology, anxiously asking yourself if the other would not like the apology and in the worst case scenario break up!

You decide to catch Deuce on his way to class and he planned the same time and as the both of you came to a halt in front of eachother both of you yelled: "I AM SORRY!" And held out the Rose's to the other.

You look at Deuce in confusion. "What are you sorry about? You didn't do anything wrong!" You mutter while Deuce sighs.

"I shouldn't have snapped at you..." He muttered his shoulders slumping. You place your hand on his cheek with a soft smile, causing him to look up at you.

"No Deuce, you haven't done anything wrong! You had every right to snap, I shouldn't have teased you the way I did." You exclaim and Deuce started to chuckle, the flowers pointing towards the floor.

"Ace was right, we both are truly over complicating things!"

Jack Howl:

You felt horrible. You shouldn't have annoyed Jack, causing him to loose focus during training, having him end up in the infirmary. You felt really horrible, he wouldn't be able to take part in the game he had trained for so long all because you had to come annoy him.

You sigh, sitting in Ramshackle looking around to find ideas that would help apologise but no avail and you really didn't want to go to him without a proper apology.

Jack on the other hand was a bit confused on why you didn't come visit until he remembered you were you. He knew you would beat yourself up over everything thinking that everything was your fault and he was angry.

Well he was angry but not at you, the other student had send a disk flying his way that knocked him out almost, that was against the rules!

He was bed bound for now and he really wanted to see you. He watched the clock, asking himself just how long it would take you to talk to him.

It was now the end of the week and Jack hasn't been able to talk to you. He was allowed out of the infirmary a while ago and had been actively trying to search for you, but you were for some reason avoiding him.

He was sad and his ears and tail pointed downwards, his whole demeanor showing that he really felt sad. Until he sees you running towards him with a bunch of flowers, your hands slightly bruised from picking them.

"I am really sorry Jack! I shouldn't have come to the training and-and now you can't take part in the game you trained really hard for...." You can't continue because Jack had already started to hug you, his tail waving around.

"You don't have anything to apologise for, the other student shouldn't have thrown the disk that hard."

Epel Felmier:

Vil looked af Epel in confusion, usually the lavender haired male would complain about everything, but Epel just sat there with empty eyes, lost in thought.

Rook chimes in with a shocked face. "You have problems with monsior/mademoiselle trickster?" Vil sighs, that explained quite a lot, of course only his partner could make Epel look so sad.

Epel didn't want to be the bigger person! You and him had thought about the fact he got into a fight for you and you were mad at him for that, after all he could have gotten seriously injured. But what did you take him for? Some fragile flower?

He sighed, now he realized that he was in the wrong. You didn't even once say that he was weak, or frail. No, you were genuinely worried because he fought so recklessly.

Epel thought about how to apologise, remembering what his grandmother once told him: "The best apology I was ever given was when my husband brought me a dozen of handpicked roses. Picking flowers, especially taking the time to pick many of them is something everyone should appreciate!"

Epel nodded, he knew now how to apologise to you. With a dozen of handpicked roses, it wouldn't even matter if he pricked his hands, because he could handle a few scratches.

A week later you heard a knock on the Ramshackle door and you littarly run towards it, managing to trip and fall flat onto the floor, before standing up again and running towards the door.

Opening it you see Epel, holding flowers in his hands. Je scratched his neck akwardly before looking at you.

"I wanted to apologise for being so rude that day, I shouldn't have acted that way!" He mutters and holds the flowers out towards you. You take said flowers with a smile.

"I also wanted to say sorry, Epel. I completely forgot to thank you!"

Sebek Zigvolt:

Sebek was sad and everyone could tell. He had gotten into a fight with you about his devotion for Malleus, simply because you told him that he could leave him alone for a few minutes.

After that Sebek said some stuff that he couldn't take back, like calling you a weak and useless human. He felt horrible, especially after seeing the way you had looked at him, tears in your eyes, before running away from him.

Lillia noticed Sebeks mood immediately, the fae having known the boy for a long time. Like the father he was hs asked what was wrong trying his best to comfort Sebek, who was trying his best not to cry.

Lillia hadn't seen him like that often and the way Sebek looked right now, full with anxiety of accidentally ended the relationship he felt his heart throb.

Sebek had been so happy about getting together with you that he even turned his volume down once in a while, or talked about something other when Malleus. Lillia was set on helping Sebek apologise....

Its been a week and you still hadn't heard anything from Sebek. You had kinda hoped he would apologise to what he said, but maybe he didn't even care.

You sigh letting yourself plop into the grass before noticing someone walking towards you. It's Sebek!

"I really apologise for what I have said last week human. You aren't useless nor weak! You are someone that needs to be respected!" He loudly says and you smile taking the flowers, hugging Sebek out of the blue.

"Thank you and I apologise for getting frustrated. I know how important Malleus is to your country and you. So continue to do your best protecting him!"

Simple days

Notes: Just simple little scenarios I wrote that probably won’t get finished. Character x reader, includes all the boys from twisted wonderland, gn reader, relationships vary

Riddle Rosehearts:

Tapping on the door of the marvelous Riddle Rosehearts you made sure to show off your test results. After studying with Riddle for the past two days you had finally gotten a rather fair score on your test retake. If not for the help of Riddle you surely would have been at the mercy of Crewel’s strict study sessions. When you showed off your hard work to the dorm leader you were shocked to hear small words of praise. It wasn’t much, but hearing “You did a good job” was rather pleasant.

Ace Trappola:

Holding onto your origami paper you showed off your talent to Ace as he watched you fold the red paper. There you shaped the square into a heart, tucking it into his shirt pocket you instructed him to keep track of it. That had been a week ago, when you were searching for Ace, you were shocked to see it still tucked into his pocket. At first you assumed it was because he had forgotten about it. When asked about the heart, a soft glow of pink tinted his face, turns out he kept it like you asked.

Deuce Spade:

Glancing over at Deuce, you watched him set off onto the track as he ran over and over again. There he was trying his best to win, not just for himself, but for NRC. Holding onto your phone as you recorded the match you made sure not to miss a moment. Getting to the end of the match you saw how bright Deuce’s face turned out to be as he realized he won. The smile was so dazzling, just looking at it filled you with joy. You finally realized this was what people mean when sometimes seeing another’s smile will bring one to you as well.

Trey Clover:

Reaching out for a red water pail you searched the bed of the strawberries. Today was watering day and it just so happened to be the day Rook was off duty. So, in order to fill out an empty spot you were inducted to his position. It wasn’t all too bad though; you did get to see something rather unusual. Right to your left was Trey who had been so focused on watering his plants he tripped and set off the sprinklers. As of now Trey was soaking in the water as you let out a chuckle. Offering a hand to help him you were instead greeted by the ground as he pulled you to him. Never again were you going to fill in this position.

Cater Diamond:

Throughout the morning sun you could see absolutely nothing, you had broken your glasses last night. Being the broke fool, there was no backup plan other than to fix it yourself. While you could make out blobs of color an orange one came to you, only when it spoke did you discover it was Cater. Explaining to him your situation, he took hold of your hand to guide you to his dependable first year. Saying he couldn’t let a fellow classmate stay this way would be wrong. Or maybe he was fed up with you asking him what was on the board.

Leona Kingscholar:

Holding on close to Leona you laid your head onto his chest as his breathing slowly moved up and down. In the warmth of the bed the two of you watched the sun fade into night. It wasn’t anything special, but the simplicity of everything gave you comfort. A simile formed as you watched the sleepy lion drift off into his dreamworld.

Ruggie Bucchi:

The sky had been a scarlet red as it stretched across to cover the entire school. In the hands of Ruggie was a bouquet of carnations which he picked specially for you. A tint of shyness crept across your face as you made your way to him. Reaching out to caress Ruggie’s face you smiled back at him in thanks for the flowers. Following his bright smile was a rusty red color along his neck as you left a small kiss mark.

Jack Howl:

Cuddling in close to Jack you traced his outline over his clothes as the two of you slumped into the soft bed. Feeling Jack’s hands comb throughout your hair sent shivers down your spine. Looking up at him you saw that you did the same to him as he felt your electric touch. In the heat of the moment, you propped your head up to ask Jack for a kiss.

Azul Ashengrotto:

Feeling the smooth touch of Azul’s hair in between your fingers as he finished on the last piece of paperwork was a sin. You were well aware he had been struggling on this piece of paper for hours on end, yet you hadn’t caved into his troubles. Azul on the other hand, constantly fought the urge to push you away to get everything done, but he couldn’t. Just this one time he thought to himself as he indulged in your little mischief.

Jade Leech:

The current of the river had carried you and Jade far off course. Although the two of you were following the closeness of the map, nothing seemed to work. Where it said to go right the two of you ended up on the path of the left side. Looking down the river there seemed to be a growing worry inside of you. Well, the reason, there was a waterfall heading up and instead of swimming away, Jade swam towards it. Holding on tight to his eel form you prayed for the best for the two of you on your wild ride.

Floyd Leech:

Playing with his dark blue streak of hair you started to braid the last bit of it together. Whipping out a shrimp hair clip you attached it neatly along the ends of Floyd’s hair. Oh, it didn’t just stop there either, you had plenty more to add to his hair. As you messed around with Floyd’s hair, he sat there in the reflection excited to see what was going to be next. Could it be a shell clip or perhaps it was going to be a cherry patterned ribbon. Whatever it was Floyd wasn’t going to leave halfway, he wouldn’t let you know, but there was a real reason he sat there. Truth is, he enjoyed seeing your face contort into the many different facial expressions you made as you arranged his hair. There was nothing more interesting than seeing you.

Kalim Al Asim:

Staring at a bed of pure white hair you had been wondering if Kalim noticed anything strange. There on the side of his head were several strands of hair that flipped up and away. Of course, you weren’t going to relay this information to the unknowing otter, it would be too boring that way. So, when Jamil finally came to visit class and noticed you enjoyed the little scene which played out. At least you did till Jamil noticed you.

Jamil Viper:

Whipping out your notebook you presented to Jamil your recent gameplan. NRC was mediocre when it played basketball, which never quite sat well with you. So, it was about time you became manager to help them rise to above mediocre. You weren’t blind though, you knew the major faults of the team, but you still wanted to push them a little. Handing off your notebook to Jamil you showed off new sets of gameplays to try out. There was one for every possible scenario you could think of. Looking at it closely Jamil studied everything word by word. However, at the end of the day the two of you both knew it was nearly impossible to get the team together. Still, you enjoyed the time you spent talking with Jamil, maybe even a little bit more than your love of basketball.

Vil Schoenheit:

Shifting your feet to a faster pace it wouldn’t be a lie to say you were struggling to keep up with Vil. The hallway was as crowded as ever, which was to be expected as everyone rushed to the cafeteria. Looking down onto Vil’s hand you took a hold of it, saying it was to prevent each other from getting lost. Despite giving a small scoff to your remark, Vil interlaced his hands with yours.

Rook Hunt:

Shooting a heart arrow at Rook you made your attempt to shoot him as your role happened to be the hunter. With just the slight tip of your arrow Rook immediately fell to the floor crying out in pain and spilling out fake blood. It was far more than what you had signed up for. Yet, the sight of such unusuality caused you to let out a chuckle a t the boy who had been playing dead.

Epel Felmeir:

Epel’s fingers skillfully moved across the apple to peel away at the skin. Then, taking hold of the knife he started to cut away at the shape. You watched in awe as the apple quickly transformed into the shape of a mirror. Once he was done Epel proudly handed it to you, but when you did touch it, the magic seemed to fade. Since you only ever saw such work in photos you didn’t expect the results to be sticky with apple juices. Some of it even started to drip down to Epel’s elbows. Before you could even grab a napkin Vil came into view with a look of distaste towards the situation.

Idia Shroud:

Shuffling a bit closer to the Shroud brother you whispered over to him if you could switch places. Taking a quick glance at you he immediately shifted his entire body to the other side of the room. Although, it was nice of Idia to move, he didn’t need to shift his whole being. Stepping closer to Idia you made an attempt to explain you just didn’t want to be near the window. After explaining for the second time, Idia came back to exchange seats with you once more.

Ortho Shroud:

Following Ortho, the two of you skipped down to Idia’s room, today was a big day for him. Well, maybe not for Idia, but it was an important meeting day for the dorm leaders. This was an absolutely mandatory meeting which discussed an upcoming festival the school hosted. When you and Ortho entered the room the two of you quickly made work of Idia’s surprise. With the two of you carrying Idia out of the room in a hurry you ran into the meeting covered in sweat. After delivering Idia you and Ortho slumped down to boast about your accomplishment.

Malleus Draconia:

Carefully walking forward, you made an attempt to give a surprise hug to Malleus, which ended up in dismay. Malleus was well aware of you before you could even touch him. In that instant he turned around to give you a big hug. Once he released you from his touch, it was time to try again. In your quick movement you gave Malleus a tight hug of your own. A little surprising as he had just given you one, but the boy wasn’t complaining at all.

Lilia Vanrouge:

Delivering a pat to Lilia’s head you made a comment about how cute his hair was, in fact you wanted it too. Taking this chance, he rushed you into Diasomnia’s lounge, where he made his barber shop. Pulling out his hair dye he smoothed it randomly across your hair. Finishing up the last bits of your hair dye you waited in excitement for the results, but to your surprise it didn’t look like Lilia’s at all. Instead of simple pink streaks, there were blue, green, and white all throughout your hair. Lilia claimed it was to enhance your adorable features.

Sebek Zigvolt:

Marching over to Sebek you peered into his face as you gave a mischievous smile. A confused look crossed his face as he wasn’t sure as to what you had planned. The truth is, you wanted to see Sebek’s face as you felt a little lonely without him beside you. Smiling to yourself you told him just that as it slipped out of your mouth. Sebek was caught off guard by your blunt remark, through his embarrassment he made sure to tell you the same. Turns out you both were a little lonely.

Silver:

Stumbling onto the floor of Silver’s room you stared up at the ceiling as Silver stared down onto you. Today you were enjoying the comfort of the floor because for some odd reason it always felt more comfortable down there. Sitting down near you Silver too started to lower his back to see if it was true or not. Shifting to face Silver, you expected him to have been asleep given how silent he was. This couldn’t have been further from the truth. A pair of aurora-colored eyes stared back at you with a relaxed smile across his face. It was such a small action, but it caused your heart to leap out of your chest. Silver reached out to touch your hair, saying you were correct, it really did feel comfortable to lay here with you.

You had fallen in love with the white-haired, bushy-tailed male that came into your flower shop every week. He was a caring soul. One that despite his huge frame, he would always treat everything that came across his path with care and respect.

Jack, as you learned his name through one of his calls—you never meant to be nosy, it was just kind of hard not to listen when he was the only one in the shop and his calls were on speakerphone—always had a keen eye for the cacti you kept in your shop, although when he went to the counter to check out he had never bought one. Instead, he would buy a bouquet of red tulips. But sometimes it would be carnations if he noticed you only had a few bundles left.

A week ago, Jack bought his first bouquet of roses from your shop. Red roses. That's when you knew you had no chance. You were hoping that those flowers were just for a friend or something, but when he bought the roses... your dreams were crushed.

This week though, when Jack came into your store, his mannerisms were completely different. He was squeezing his phone tightly and had dark eye bags.

Instead of wandering back to the cacti section like usual, he sauntered up to the counter in a grouchy manner before slamming down 20 thaumarks.

"Uhm... sir...?"

"What's the best 'fuck you' bouquet I can get for 20 thaumarks?" his voice came out rough, like he had been crying the night before. And you knew you shouldn't be excited about him potentially breaking up with someone, but you couldn't help it.

"Oh I have the most perfect idea," you smiled at him, leaving your spot from behind the counter. "We'll just need some geraniums, foxglove, meadowsweet, yellow carnations, and orange lilies."

And as you watched him leave your shop, you couldn't help but stare in longing. Maybe this time. This time. You would have the chance to capture his flower-filled heart.

Maybe not on the level of showing off or bragging to others but Leona doesn't care if you two are kissing in public and even finds the students' reactions quite funny. Blame the fact that he is twenty years old and feels like an adult in the midst of young people. He’s not particularly impressed by couple things;

But if it's the case that you don't feel comfortable doing anything too clingy in public, no problem. Leona understands that a little sense of privacy is ideal sometimes. And lucky for both of you, he knows most of the school’s hiding places — places where he often hide to sleep;

Between one thing and another, Leona likes to just lean on you or just be quite close when you are in the middle of other people. That's enough for him. If you’re a little shorter than Leona, he’ll love to stand behind you and rest his chin on the top of your head, just like lions do with their lionesses.

R omance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Romance may not be Leona's favorite source of entertainment but, of the many classic Afterglow Savannah’s works he read throughout his life, some of them were love stories and he genuinely enjoyed them. But is Leona capable of being romantic? This is already a little more difficult... but not impossible;

Leona manages to do the basics of clichés sometimes when he feels like it. Examples of this are offering a bouquet of flowers he picked from the Botanical Garden and calling for you to have dinner together on the balcony of his room in Savanaclaw;

On more special occasions, however, Leona puts effort to do something more planned and buys you a gift. It may be the most expensive thing in the world but he’ll act like he’s giving a simple gift. It's just his way, though he even bothered to choose your favorite color for the wrap — which you don't even have the courage to throw away.

U nderstanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

Leona may even seem relaxed and indifferent, but he is a good observer. He doesn't mind remembering dorm leaders’ meeting dates, but he remembers any birthday or important days you bring up for him. From small to big things, if it is about you, it will be imprinted in his memory;

Cats are said to be very sensitive to their owners’ emotions and you often jokingly comment on this when Leona asks you if your day was bad. In fact, more than a natural sensitivity of felines, Leona is someone who has spent a lot of time containing and putting aside his own emotions so, he knows exactly when you do the same;

To tell you the truth, Leona wouldn't mind spending five hours lying next to you, especially if he’s cuddled up to you. But this isn’t to say that he is very affectionate — at least, not openly. He will never directly tell, with all the words and sentences, that he wants to hug or kiss you;

If this happens, it was because he wanted to give in to those feelings at that moment, since it was a very exhausting day. If you ask, Leona will answer with grunts and insist that you two should be silent, which he wants most at the moment;

Leona had a hard time asking for these things and started to act like this ever since. Putting those feelings into action and words is a job he gave up having a long time ago, hoping to stifle those needs. The world didn't need him, so he didn't need the world. But sometimes he just needs you.

Leona has always spent a lot of time alone and at the same time, when he is around other people, he can't wait to get a moment to be alone and quiet. So if you need to stay away for a long time, Leona will not have much problem at first;

But as time goes on, he’ll miss your presence that seemed so alive and constant beside him. It's like a sudden dry season. It’s longer than it looks and it’s getting more painful as time goes on. Nothing too desperate but Leona just can't wait to see you again;

The solution may seem very predictable but Leona will end up killing time by sleeping. Once or another, he will play a little chess alone and read something. But most of the time will be spent in his bed, in a heavy sleep and a dream of you together, imagining you are on the grass looking at the stars.

Jack is extremely shy about doing anything in front of other people. The most he can tolerate for his own good is you holding his hand — on quieter and better days, you might be bolder and take his whole arm;

But for the rest, Jack doesn't want to drag you with him into the current of annoyance and embarrassment he feels when others keep commenting on you two. It sounds childish, but he just doesn’t like nosy and inconvenient people. That and his tail wagging all happy when you do something fun together, which only brings more teasing than anything;

You’re quite understanding about his reasons and get used to valuing these small gestures of walking together and holding hands at first. Over time, Jack will be able to better face the prospect of hugging you and simply ignore the world around you, but still, his simplicity and good manners will not disappear. And it's not bad at all. It's one of the things you love about him.

We are talking about Jack, the one who said in front of all his friends once that “it would be nice to find someone and stay with this person for the rest of his life.” If that's not romanticism, I don't know what is! But since not everything in life is easy, Jack will only admit a few times with all his words that he is being romantic. It's not even trying, it's being;

Basing off a little on the things his parents do to each other, Jack's romanticism comes through in the small, simple things. He’ll prepare some food you like, fix something you needed even if you didn't order it and carry you if you are tired;

Things too simple to be creative, but sometimes too unusual to be called cliches. You both sometimes go on dates with a plan you came with, even if it's not something typical of him to do. For Jack, the concept of romance and making someone happy are inextricably linked and if you are smiling, it will already make his heart float.

Being a very quiet and considerate person with the people he loves and cherishes, Jack very easily captures the way and the mannerisms of these people — and obviously you are included. Outside that he has a very special hearing to catch the mumbling that you let slip unintentionally or your sighs;

It's a little hard to hide from Jack that you're anxious, sad or even very happy about something. He will notice these differences just in time. Even if you try to distract him by praising this ability and poking his embarrassed side about him being too affectionate, Jack realizes your strategy and brings the matter back to your problem. Did you really think you could beat him, the king of changing the subject?;

Above all, Jack has gotten used to solving the problems of the people he likes the most, so if you need him, he’ll offer to help you in any way. But it will cost him a few moments of awkward silence and eye rolls when you tell him how cute he is. Maybe it's a wolf thing but Jack ends up leaning on you a lot without thinking. Whether it's on your shoulders or on your head, he's right there by your side, making you feel his skin and the warmth he gives off naturally. A good feeling of affection and security.

First, good luck to anyone who's going to try to convince Jack to admit that he is hopelessly missing you. He may be literally feeling more down than usual, talking about you out of the blue, muttering some small concerns, but Jack will ignore those feelings;

That's because Jack doesn't want you to think of him as clingy or too possessive, overly concerned about everything you do. He's nothing like that, but that only makes him more afraid to be. Therefore, to distract his mind, Jack will pick up a little heavier in exercises and studies;

And this is all effective for a very limited time because eventually Jack will come across a subtle and small thing that reminds him of you. So he goes back to exercising and doing a lot of things to have the feeling that time is passing faster and soon, you will return. Surely Jack would drop everything he's doing when he hears a notification on his cell phone — hoping that somehow it's you, even to chat quickly.

But some things are inevitable and you end up getting too close to each other despite having an audience around. Sometimes you kiss and hug Trey when the recipe you made together worked out or he almost disassembles on you from tiredness;

You end up laughing together in these moments, relieving embarrassment with the fun of your friends’ reactions. After all, laughter is what sweetens someone’s life. And the truth is, far or near, Trey appreciates your company in its entirety.

Inspired a bit by his parents’ style, Trey sometimes makes special cookies, tarts or pies for you with your name or with a heart shape. He occasionally buys for Ramshackle’s kitchen some newer utensils, always hidden in the middle of a bouquet of red roses;

Once he prepared a box of homemade chocolates for you, but with the detail that not every chocolate was actually filled with creamy chocolate. It was a fun afternoon in which you ate chocolates with romantic phrases written in sugar hearts and once in a while, one had oyster taste and another with mustard and jam appeared.

U nderstanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

Trey is learning — given Riddle's situation — about how to solve problems right off the bat and not excuse anything by sweeping it under the rug. But even so, he has a special sense for noticing when you're okay or not. He is very observant and keeps all this information in his heart;

There are things Trey will learn about you over time but he picks things up fast. Especially mannerisms and addictions, little things you do. He also cares about knowing the things you like and dislike;

Sometimes Trey becomes too empathetic for his own good and everyone around him. It's something about being the big brother to several little ones, always exercising his patience. For this reason, seeking comfort in Trey without even having to say anything is almost always guaranteed. But you talking about the problems would also help a lot.

Trey can handle a normal amount of affection. Not too cold, not too clingy. Perhaps with the development of your relationship, he will get used to being closer to you for a longer time;

But spending too much time away from you brings a sadness that Trey can't shake, even though he knows you'll soon meet again. It's not hopeless at all, but it's there, bothering his heart. He remembers you suddenly sometimes when he finds something you like or a place where you normally hang out together;

To pass the time, Trey picks up some books to read or even study. Anything that distracts him from thinking about his confused feelings. Sometimes he goes to the kitchen to prepare something and talks with others to cheer up a little. But he can't wait to see you there with them, mingling in that chaotic dorm and laughing with him.

Seems calm on the outside but he’s actually dying inside. He isn’t used to people coming to him for comfort, so he has little knowledge, but it also seems someone who represses his feelings a lot so he has no idea how to comfort you

Leona will stay silent and keep you close by hugging them or, if you don’t want, he will stay near you with his body slightly touching yours or holding your hand. staying in silence for a while until they have calmed down a little

Leona will listen to whatever reason you were crying and, if it was someone who did it, he’ll be a lot furious. How dare they make you cry like this, it doesn’t matter if they are a friend of yours he will have to talk with them about it after you are feeling better, he might also provide a few ways to take your revenge with a smirk on his face please say no

He’s very possessive and protective of the ones he holds dear, so it’s not really surprising

Depending on how serious the situation is Leona might intervene with whatever is happening, he won’t let you deal with it alone even if you asked. Or even if you are able to do it alone, he prefers being there with you or knowing what is going to happen anyway

Seeing you crying like that defiantly shocked him and Leona tries to be more gentle with you for a while, he can’t take out of his mind your tears. He will also find excuses to check on you, making sure you are okay and well

I also think that he would be a lot more protective than usual, but it depends mostly on the situation, and how much you have been hurt. Leona will try to make it seem very casual but it’s pretty clear that he is worried for you, just don’t say it or you see a complete change in his personality lmfao

After you are more relaxed Leona would bring you to his room and ask Ruggie to bring some food, maybe some of your favorite snacks, to make you think about anything else. He will also let you do whatever you want inside his room or with him, but believe me, Leona will get slightly annoyed by some of your weird antics

He’s not the best at comforting you, but Leona is trying. And you can tell which is something pretty nice to see from the lazy second prince.

Pure p a n i c. Jack stops thinking for a while and just stays there with his head blank, until all he can do is hug you tightly and ask over and over what happened, does he need to throw hands

Since the initial shock, it will take a while for him to fully calm down and completely focus on you: Jack will listen to whatever you have to say, holding you closer to his chest and letting you cry, whispering comforting and kind words.

If you want to talk about it of course, in case Jack can wait until you feel calmer or you can decide to tell him. He understands that maybe it’s private stuff with a friend, but he will remind you that he is there for you even if he can’t help out and how, sometimes, it just feels better to have someone to talk to

Jack is a great listener, so you can go on with the story about whatever happened and he’s silent, nodding off a few times and not interrupting you. In the end, he will simply hug you again, and gently caress your back, thanking you for telling him what happens

If someone dared to make you cry Jack is ready to throw hands and not only that. He’s pretty pissed and would need a lot of convincing to not have a talk with them, Jack is so incredibly pissed. Even more than you are.

After he hears the story and you seem a little bit calmer than before, Jack is going to propose stuff you two can do together to make you think about anything else, asking if maybe you want to do something in particular. Jack is willing to do anything if that means you will smile once again

Until you feel completely better Jack is going to be very protective of you, when he usually isn’t to this extent, making sure that everyone is treating you right during a very delicate time

Meaning that he is a lot more around you, making sure that you aren’t feeling down, and maybe giving a few little gifts if he founds something that you may like or that it reminded him of you

Big gentle and caring puppy, Jack might not be sure about what to do at first but then he’s very nice and caring to have around, perhaps a bit awkward. But nothing much!

and howl!(name) who is so resistant to help that even when jack is old enough to help them, they take all of the heavy work because that's all they feel like they are worth.

felmier!(name) who loves loves loves their feminine side, but only in private. they would never be caught dead doing what they love because all they want is to be that role model for epel. they want to get along with him and grow up with him because they have plenty of friends who don't have that.

and felmier!(name) who, despite being related to him, was not chosen by vil. felmier!(name) who loves their baby brother but absolutely despises how he gets to live out their dream.

zigvolt!(name) who is more human than fae and learns the hard way that sebek despises them for it. they watch as their family remains unchanged while they sob and sob into their pillow after they notice a few more gray hairs than usual. zigvolt!(name) who will do anything they can to do their family name proud, even if they need to find a workaround.

and zigvolt!(name) who clutches onto the idea that they can have a real relationship with their brother because if they don't, they would have to face the reality that they would die and he would keep going for years to come.

claire's not expecting them to be at the door. she blinks at the sight of four men all huddled on the stoop with flowers and what appears to be bags of food flowing from their arms. jack is peeking above a bouquet, beaming at her.

"who's at the door?!" jody calls from the kitchen, her voice muffled by the sound of grease popping and the clanking of pans and spatulas meeting over and over.

"god," claire calls back, because she likes to think she's funny.

there's a beat of silence, and then jody's sticking her head out the kitchen. the moment she sees them, she breaks out into a grin and saunters over, shoving the spatula in claire's hand as she chatters away.

"what's going on out there?" donna asks as claire escapes back to the kitchen to poke at food jody is apparently willing to burn just because the winchesters decided to show their faces today of all days.

"judgement day," claire says dryly.

donna shares a look with patience. "haven't we dealt with that already a few times?"

"only by association," claire admits, "but i wouldn't put it past them to bring it along with 'em now. the boys are here."

"oh, isn't that nice?" donna chirps, already popping up from her chair. "i didn't know they were stopping by today."

"wonder how sam's doing," patience agrees, wandering out the kitchen right along with donna. claire can hear everyone cracking up and talking in the living room.

trust the winchesters to shake things up just by showing up. can't have one goddamn day, can they? well, that's not true. in their case, as far as claire is concerned, they're shitty for showing up and shitty for not. someone has to knock 'em all down a peg or two, so she might as well be the one.

"what did that chicken ever do to you?" kaia asks teasingly as she sidles into the kitchen and stops by the stove, hip-checking claire out of the way to take over.

"the boys are here," claire informs her.

kaia raises her eyebrows. "like, the boys as in the winchesters, or is this a milkshake pun?"

"i can only be so gay, sweetheart," claire says, shooting her a flat look.

"raise the bar a little. could be gayer. you can always be gayer," kaia teases, reaching out to sneak her hand around claire's hip, her eyes bright with amusement.

"you know what? you're right," claire agrees and immediately tries to cop a feel while kaia laughs and dances out of range.

jack appears in the doorway. "hello," he says, whispering for some reason. "claire, i need your help."

"no," claire says, not even glancing at him. she continues to try and put her hand up kaia's shirt, just to see her laugh.

"can i borrow twenty dollars?" jack asks.

"no. aren't you god?"

"yes, but i don't get paid to be."

"well, sucks for you. borrow money from cas," claire mutters, settling in behind kaia as she focuses on the food on the stove, swatting lazily at claire's roaming hands.

"he'll just borrow money from dean."

"borrow from sam."

"he'll just borrow money from dean."

"borrow from—wait, why does it matter if it's from dean? just borrow from him."

jack huffs. "i can't. i need the money for dean. i have a card, and i read online it's customary to give money with a card. also, will you sign it?"

"you got dean a card?" claire asks, craning her head around to stare at jack skeptically.

"yes."

"don't tell me it's for what i think it is."

"mother's day," jack confirms unironically.

claire wheezes out a laugh. "oh my god."

"there's a pen in the catty on the fridge," kaia says, clearly amused.

"yeah. yeah, this is—yeah." claire chokes on more laughter and stumbles towards the group of pens in the magnet container on the fridge. she waggles her fingers at jack, clearing her throat, lips twitching. "hand it over, beanstalk. you're a fucking genius."

"oh! thank you," jack declares cheerfully, passing over the card. "so, can i borrow twenty dollars?"

"hell no," claire says. she braces the card against the fridge and swallows down a laugh. sam has already signed it. this just gets better and better. happy mother's day, old man, aka the secondary source of my mommy and daddy issues. you're going for gold with this double-whammy, she writes.

"but i need it," jack insists, staring at her with wide eyes.

claire shrugs. "tough break, kid. what, cas doesn't give you an allowance? is it just me, or are dads getting stricter these days?"

"i didn't think about it in advance," jack admits sadly. "i want to do it right for the holiday. it's mother's day, claire."

"i'm well aware. sorry to break it to you, kid, but last I checked, your mom's as dead as mine," claire tells him, her voice flat. he frowns and she forces herself not to feel bad. everything that sucks for him sucked for her first, so her sympathy levels are a little drained. "father's day will roll around eventually, and you've got a long line of those, so wait your turn."

"i've already done something for my mother today," jack says slowly, his eyebrows furrowed. "i visited her in heaven."

claire snorts derisively and passes the card back over. "must be nice."

"it was," jack agrees, completely missing the point. "i really can't borrow twenty dollars? i'll pay you back."

"nah," claire says. "who cares anyway? wait, why is dean the mom?"

"well, castiel is my father."

"ah, so it's about them having the hots for each other, then? really, kid, you coulda just made dean your step-dad."

jack blinks. "they have the...hots for each other? you mean sex. they have sex?"

"you know what?" claire points at him with her free hand. "i'm not gonna burst your bubble on that one. you've got enough issues on your own without wondering if mommy and daddy still have a spark, so I'm gonna leave that alone. i've got five dollars. take it or leave it."

"deal," jack says immediately.

money is exchanged, and jack looks like he's on cloud nine. claire's just stoked to see the expression on dean's face when he gets the card. it's a homemade card and everything, nothing like the two claire, kaia, patience, and alex got for jody and donna.

claire helps kaia finish up the chicken, which promptly gets set aside to wait on the rest of the food in the oven. sam wanders in at some point to drop off the food they brought. dessert, by the looks of it. pies and cakes that go in the fridge. it's kind of them, but claire would shoot herself in the foot before she ever admits it.

she lets kaia tug her into the living room where everyone is already at, rolling her eyes at how cheered everyone seems just because the winchesters happened to grace their doorstep. really, they all suck.

but also—and claire will never admit this, not even to save her own life—it's nice to see 'em again. it's nice that they've come to celebrate the day in jody and donna's name, giving them flowers and such. it's nice that they hang around for a bit and don't bring the world crashing down on everyone for the duration of their stay.

and, well, it's nice to see cas, too.

he perches up next to the couch that claire is squeezed on with alex, donna, kaia, and jack. kaia is practically in her lap, but claire is secretly glad for the excuse. while everyone talks and has conversations across one another, cas focuses entirely on her.

another thing claire will never admit is how reluctantly pleased by that she is. it warms her. stupidly, it turns soft and gooey in her chest that he automatically gives her his undivided attention over everyone else, even jack. but, then again, it's not cas' day, so she doesn't have to look too close to that feeling. it's mother's day, so it's not about him.

when the food is ready, they reconvene in the kitchen, and that's when they crack out the cards and gifts. claire is practically vibrating with laughter before jack has even brought his card out. before that, though, she smiles softly and strokes kaia's thigh under the table as jody and donna read their cards and chuckle at the messages, their gazes warm and their smiles sweet. they look happy. they deserve to be.

"okay, last one," claire announces, grinning at jack. she's starting to think she likes this kid if he's an agent of chaos like this.

and okay, maybe she hates him a little in abstract, but in detail, she finds that she does actually like him. you kinda just wanna put him in your pocket without meaning to, she's learned. there's too much to explore with the whole psuedo sibling thing and parents that aren't parents, as well as parents that are but didn't choose to be, only he did choose one of them, and it wasn't her. it's complicated, but underneath it all, there's a vibrant love there that she can't look directly at. sometimes, she despises that she's included in it; yet, just the same, she's thankful that she is.

"oh hell," dean mutters, swinging his gaze between alex and patience. "one of you...ya know? did we miss something?"

claire snorts.

"what? no," alex replies, grimacing. "i have no idea what claire's talking about. claire, what the hell are you talking about?"

"jack?" claire prompts in a wheeze.

"here you go," jack chirps, holding out the card to dean, beaming. "happy mother's day."

the expression on dean's face is somehow even better than claire imagined. she howls with laughter while sam buries his face in his hands, his shoulders jerking. cas squints at jack, and jody's eyebrows fly up at the same exact time that donna grins.

"is this a joke?" dean sputters.

"no, no, nope," claire chokes out, nearly fucking crying with laughter. "happy mother's day, dean."

"you gotta take it, man," sam agrees, clearing his throat and biting back a smile as he bobs his head dutifully towards the card.

dean fixes sam with a flat look and snatches the card. "you're all so fucking—sam, you signed it?!"

"happy mother's day," sam says, his mouth pinched, visibly trying not to laugh.

"do you like it?" jack asks earnestly. "i made the card, sam signed it first, and claire provided the money."

"i—" dean stares down at the card, then heaves a sigh and looks up at jack. it's clear to him that—out of everyone—jack is clearly taking this very seriously. he offers him a weak smile, then swallows. "yeah, s'great, kid. thank you. sam, you are dead to me. claire, i will be spending this on something you hate. cas, this is somehow your fault."

"yup, sounds like a mother to me," jody declares, holding up her beer with a smile.

"welcome to the club," donna agrees, holding hers up as well. "everyone else annoys the shit out of you, but you love 'em anyway."

dean sighs and clinks his beer to theirs.
