I know that they all consider Martha a mother, but I never personally got the vibe that Yusei, Jack, and Crow considered each other brothers. But I've seen more and more people recently call them brothers, so I'm wondering what the general consensus of the fanbase is.

Jack’s got reach, and is tall, and he and Yusei can drop kick, but Crow? Crow’s got MUSCLE. Crow can pick someone up and throw them across the room. Jack makes fun of him for being short one too many times, and the next day, Crow sneaks up behind him and suplexes him, and Jack has to stay on bed rest for a month afterward

Wind Underneath your Wings (excerpt)

“What!” Jack’s voice roared. “You signed up to tutor brats when you already have a commitment to the team!”

“I know. I don’t know what came over me. But what’s done is done.” Crow knew this was gonna be the outcome when he told the group. It wasn’t like he was going to completely abandon his friends. “I can find a balance. Besides, I go there on our off days.”

“If Crow says he can do both. I believe in him.” Yusei says.

“Thanks Yus.” It was great to have some kind of encouragement.

“We don’t have time for anyone who’s attention is divided.” Jack grumbles.

“I’m focused one hundred percent Jack. It’s not like I can do much with a broken shoulder.” Crow gestured to his broken shoulder.

Crow excused himself to go to his room. Not because he didn’t want to continue dealing with Jack, thought that was part of it, he had to go and read the study guide that the Ryokō had left him. He had no experience in coaching at all. Sure he had taught the orphans kids back at Satellite, but this was a completely different ballpark. It was on a whim, but Crow was dedicated to this new experience

As long as it’s for a kid, he would make a miracle happen no matter what.

It’s interesting Jack asks if Godwin is watching because it’s a subtle thing, but he knows his position as king and as a member of “worthwhile society” is tenuous at best, like despite being one of “the chosen” he knows he’s fully replaceable and still needs Godwin’s approval
