BAE YOONJI – THE HIGH PRIESTESS. AGENT 02.
                                                   [   FILE TYPE: CLASSIFIED   ]
//: LOADING PROFILE: BAE YOONJI ...
international age: 24 birthplace: busan, south korea arcana: the high priestess team number: four
//: LOADING MUTATION: HEALING AURA  ...
application one: mental healing — By one simple touch being physical or in an aura state, Yoonji is able to heal any mental illness that a person may have accumulated or that a foe has inflicted upon them. She also able tamper into their minds and retrieve hidden memories or information that is highly valuable; something that is looked highly upon in her occupation. This power does have major drawbacks. In an instance where she is trying to heal mental disorders or severe mental disabilities, it requires an immense amount of concentration and balance over one’s self. She must stay completely still and fall into an almost coma-like state where she is unable to comprehend her surroundings thus leaving her highly defenseless. Being that she is mostly on dangerous missions, she makes sure to rarely use this gift as the results are very taxing and dangerous.
application two: physical healing — She is able to physically touch others or radiate a healing aura that can heal any physical or mental wounds. With touching, the powers are more concentrated and the healing process is completed quite quickly. She can place her hand upon persons being and the wounds that were inflicted can heal almost instantaneously depending on the location and intensity of the wound. Wounds that are deeper and placed in more vital areas take longer and more power to heal. With nonphysical healing, she is able to project a healing aura that completely surrounds a living organism and began a slower healing process. This one does have its drawbacks, one being time and the other is the power that is behind it. Nonphysical healing leaves the person more time to become fatigued by the wound and thus causing it to transfer back to her causing her power levels to experience a slight dip. She can cancel this by healing herself which uses more energy.   Also, her powers do have its limits. If a person is dead, her powers will not work on them as she is unable to heal that strongly nor is she able to resurrect the dead.
application three: aura generation — Yoonji is able to use aura generation in both a supportive and offensive stance. She is able to alter one’s mental state and cause them to become flooded with negative emotions, using this to leave the enemy completely useless. She is also able to cause conflicting feelings in an enemy in order for them to temporarily change their position. She also uses this to change the levels of someone power level when needed. She is unable as of yet to change their levels extremely high or extremely low; only able to change it to a moderate range. Being that this is her stronger abilities, it takes up a majority of her energy when used. Her supportive powers are that she is able to leave her aura on a person in order to track their location and keep tabs on their physical state. If she so wishes, she could periodically send pulses of healing energy in order to heal a person she feels needs it.
overall strengths and weaknesses:
— As stated above, the majority of her abilities hold a negative drawback. In her mental healing ability, she must hold herself at an almost comatose state. She must be fully in touch with her abilities and possess no ill feelings as they negatively affect her healing. One of her strength is that this power is highly sought after. She is able to use this ability as an interrogation method where she is able to penetrate the mind of the foe and find any important information or memories that may serve to be beneficial in their mission.
In physical healing, her major ability is that she is able to send a traveling aura of sorts to those who are in need of healing or physically touch someone and heal them almost instantaneously. A weakness to this is that it requires more energy, depending on the situation even more than any of her other powers. This also requires a lot of power in order to successfully complete, meaning if she has been fighting for a long period of time, it is harder for her to successfully complete this task as she will not have enough energy,
In aura generation, she able to use her powers in an offensive way by using her emotional aura to cause the person to fall into a state of mental chaos. This power gives her the ability to be almost two places at the same time as she experiences the things that the receiver of her aura goes through. A weakness in this ability is that it relies heavily on her emotional status that the given moment. If she tries to use a negatively powered offensive move and it doesn’t correspond to her given feelings, it causes the attack to lose some of its power and vice versa for her supportive skills.
//: LOADING HISTORY ..
PRE-MUTATION
I-Her mother called her a flower. A beautiful lily lost in a field of wild weeds and sleepy skies. Her birth signified an end. The skies dark, the wind blowing hard against the shaky hospital building and her mother’s eye were screwed in pain, cries bursting through the air. They had welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world; ink black haired haloed around white skin and big eyes adorned with wisps of long lashes. She was destined for greatness, at least that’s what everyone told her mother. They lived in a shoebox apartment right in the middle of Busan- her mother’s personal wish. Her childhood was filled with dark nights where the electricity was off, her mother’s drunken face next to hers whispering how beautiful she was and the bangs of the landlord on the door yelling about overdue payments. She had realized early on that life was a brutal place. Her mother made sure she knew so.It wasn’t until she got bigger did she began to truly understand who she had to beautiful for.
II-She said she plucked her from the ground and worshiped every petal, laughing when the sky wept at her lost beauty. In her preteen ages, Yoonji quickly lost the luster she had for the material things. The wishes that she had when she was smaller seemed so dull. Mother said she was a pretty girl, she should act as such. Mother said she was perfect, that no one else was above her. Yoonji sunk her teeth into her bottom lip as she counted the stars that were scattered across the sky. Mother said a lot of things, she noticed. She wondered if her mother believed her words. Was she truly beautiful? Her mother’s hand trailing on her hips, pulling the loose weight that was hanging on her body, her mother pulling her hair and forcing her in the empty room for 3 days with no food, listening to her wails and pleas bounce off of the walls. She remembers dreading the moment her mother placed her on the glass weight, her personality taking a nicer turn as she noticed the weight loss. She cooed and pushed her hair back. “You’re a pretty girl and pretty girls should watch their weight. I’m doing this because I love you.” she had said. Yoonji smiled crudely as she looked at the diamond laying innocently on her finger. Did her mother even love her?
III-But how can a lily be perfect when she was picked from the very thing that gave her grace, that gave her life? She noticed quite quickly that simply growing up wasn’t going to help her escape. She remembers the times she spent looking up at different white ceilings, her mother’s voice in her ear whispering orders “It’s only one time or "You’ll do this mommy won’t you?” Yoonji had said no, she repeated no until the only word she knew was no. Might as well have been talking to the moon. She remembers unfamiliar puffs of breath on her neck and hands grabbing her face, her tears falling into her hair. She was merely a shell, something her mother used to squeeze and possess as her own. She was never truly her own, never truly Yoonji. She was her mother, her mother’s dreams and hopes that had fallen through when she was younger. She was her mother’s last hope at finally feeling like she was pretty, beautiful. She tried not to cry at the elated look on her mother’s face every time someone told her she looked like her mom. She wanted to yell in their face exposing them of their lies. She was no devil.
IV-A lily cannot be beautiful then.  At the age of twenty did she finally realize that she was not a lily, she was not beautiful. She was but a mere weed in sheep’s clothing. She realized a lot of things at this age. Her mother did not want her to become a beauty queen, her mother wanted her to be the red on the streets. She was a way for her mother to rise above the small apartment they shared, past the late bills on the coffee table and the pounding of the loan sharks on their door. Yoonji wanted to disappear.
POST-MUTATION
She remembers the meteor shower vividly. The array of bright colors and gasps of awe of the people littering the street. She was trying to ignore the sheer pain she was experiencing due to her mother’s nails digging crescent shapes into the skin of her arm as she apologized to the client on her phone, her eyes burning holes through her skull. She had remembered going blind; a spark of white emitting from the sky and rendering her eyes useless, she remembers thinking one word, a word long forgotten in her household; beautiful. A feeling of serene washed over her body at that moment. She felt as if she was miles away from her body, her body was lifted from the ground and was slowly making its way into orbit. The moment her vision returned and her mother was yanking her toward the black van that sat on side of the narrow street. She had cracked a small smile and followed after her mother, but not before closing her eyes and wishing. Freedom, she wanted freedom.
The nights passed by in a blur each all sharing one haunting detail -the dreams. Each of her dreams was of her wandering through an array of greenery, her gasps echoing through the clusters of trees and noise of the insects. They all had ended the same way, her stumbling across a small meteor. The rock was lying unceremoniously in the middle of a hidden part of the forest, the forest floor dark with the mud it had plundered into. She would awake each time the moment her finger touched the cold surface, her hair matted and damp from her sweat. She had simply shaken them off as a simple dream and now looking back years later she should have known the deep message that those dreams held.
The first time she noticed her powers was when her mother had struck her across the cheek. Her mother’s thunderous voice becoming drowned out by the ringing in her ears, her mouth tasting of metal. She remembers going to the bathroom, gazing at her reflection in the mirror and sees a cut adorning her cheek and lip. She goes to the cabinets to retrieve disinfectant and bandages only to return to a blank slate. She remembers confusion and paranoia bubbling in her stomach, her mind coming up with impossible reasons as for what could have happened. She dismisses it and shoves it to the back of her mind. She will not add another thing to her list of problems.
The second time she supposes is her own fault. She had decided to take matters into her own hands. The knife was shaking in her hands as she stared at the crimson leaking from her cheeks. She wanted to paint the world in this color for it was bold, it was beautiful. Everything she wished she was. About a minute later, the scar closed and quickly became a mere scar then nothing as if it was never there. A strained laugh had escaped her lips as she stared in the mirror, tears pooling in the corner of her eyes. It was truly the first time she saw herself as pretty. How the skin healed as if it was never broken as if it was always whole. She wanted to be like that, a whole piece not the shattered person looking back at her from the extravagant mirror.
It took even longer for the ar collective to find her. A man dressed quite suavely approached her and promised to answer questions about her abilities. He told her about the place, what they did and how she fell into the middle of this mess, slowly gaining her trust about the information. It had taken him even longer to ask her to come and train there, to harness her abilities to their full ability and use them for good. I didn’t take long for her to accept. It was almost as if this was a gift from the heavens, an opportunity to flee from her mothers choke hold.
Looking back at this event a year later, she can honestly say it was one of the best decisions she has every truly made. She was given the chance to flee from an unwanted life and do something she had always wanted to do.  There are times when she finds herself in the training room, eye darkened from sleep deprivation, her body throbbing all over and her mind feeling as if it was shrouded in black smoke and yet she has never regretted her decision.
