if there's one thing i miss is that lyns character from fe7 feels so much different than how she is in feh and later on. I loved her interactions with sain when they first met, and how much she cares for florina, and here where she shows concern for lucius when he's having a fit. It's something I don't really notice much in her anymore :(

King the Land has been such an interesting watch for me because I went into it expecting a festival of every romance cliche under the sun, and I was right- They have had pretty much every classic romance trope and yet? It feels fresh. They consistently do things I didn't expect, the story and characters are much more mature and interesting than I initially thought they would be, they could have indulged in a lot more cheap drama for dramas sake but they didn't. It's an absolutely cheesey fun ride but the emotional through line of the series hits so well.

things have been really nice lately on tumblr and ive gotten the chance to talk to so many cool people and have fun with talking about and creating for interests i usually get frowned upon for having. its really nice and i genuinely love and appreciate it so much. i know things don't last and this one might not last either but im still really glad for it. its really nice

What is St Nicholas day? Can you explain to me what it is and some of your family’s traditions of you feel comfortable?

Of course!

It's a Catholic holiday, the feast (commemoration) of Saint Nicholas is on the 6th of December. Historically we know that st Nicholas was the bishop Myra and he's known for things like for example punching the heretics, but there's a toooon of legends of the miracles he did. According to one legend st Nicholas once heard about three girls who were too poor to marry (and some sources say they were supposed to be sold to a brothel because of that) so, despite not being very rich himself, Nicholas decided to help them and three nights in a row threw the money needed for the weddings through the window/chimney (that's where Santa Claus coming through the chimney comes from but that's the topic for another long rant post).

As for the traditions, in Poland children traditionally get little gifts under their pillows on the night between 5th and 6th (yes, we get gifts twice in December because Christmas too 😌) and I suppose the only difference in my family is that we never stopped doing this even though me and my sibling aren't children anymore.
