"Formerly Street Queen" was the very first song I wrote with my Nervebreakers songwriting partner Mike Haskins. I am guessing that was perhaps 1975 or ’76, when I was around 21 years old. “Formerly Street Queen” is an excellent example of it’s time & what is now referred to as “proto-punk,” with alternating fast & slow parts topped off with an epic-sounding final long section, building up to a resolution with a spaghetti-western turn at the end.
My old band from that era, The Nervebreakers, have a new/old album (FACE UP TO REALITY) released last year by Freddie Krc’s SteadyBoy Records, filled with original songs written & performed during the band’s late ‘70s heyday, but never documented & recorded until a 2009 band reunion. Got that? New in 2022, but recorded in 2009, but composed before 1980. "Formerly Street Queen" is included on this release.

The ‘street queen’ illustration included here was one I lifted from a social media post, with no attribution listed for it’s source, that I ran across recently. Since we had a song with that in the title I posted it to Facebook with a link https://youtu.be/OHUHncPED2w to the song. Lo & behold, the wonderful Miriam Linna of Norton Records commented & informed me: “That image was hacked out of Bad Seed mag!” Bad Seed was a famous groundbreaking fanzine she & her late husband, Billy Miller, put together many years ago. So I quickly inserted in my posting the real source for this image that you see here, with apologies. Miriam’s one of the coolest, cutest dolls around but I know you don’t wanna get on the bad side of the original “bad seed."

levanter was underrated. all the drama in stayville at the time made it their most overshadowed title and its AMAZING lino falsetto lino silk shirts and it was their first time (in my opinion) experimenting with something a little softer title-wise .. and astronaut as the promoted bside was everything its one of my fave skz songs to date .
i have a complicated relationship with in life bc we got carrot lino my most beloved in the entire world..but no gods menu screentime :| ill die mad abt that ..BUT WE GOT PHOBIA which is everything to me. tied for no1 skz song. and carrot lino was in easy and he was so entrancing about it..he was literally a carrot ............. and ex..lino drinking water and blond changbin. literally.....my universe..ANY..like everyone knows skz bsides hit different but in life bsides are just insanity

3rd eye is tied for no1 skz song with phobia. florescence's lino 3rd eye fancam fundamentally changed me actually. i have nothing more to say. 3rd eye........the rerecording is so good too it sounds incredible and linos voice and its so creepy and nanvksjvnsd its perfect

so i don't entirely know how you want me to format this. since the food pyramid is intended to be a hierarchy of how much of each thing you should be getting per day. and there are some chrises (cough criss movement) that you shouldn't be getting at all per day. but i'll rank as many chris looks as i can think of:

A instabilidade política é a consequência e o julgamento de uma nação por causa dos seus pecados. A rebeldia contra o Deus celestial expõe uma nação à corrupção civil, decadência e revolução. A maior benção para um país é ter um líder que teme a Deus e segue a justiça. Seu governo será preservado, prolongado, protegido e prosperará o estado. As histórias contrastantes de Israel e Judá e de seus reis, registrado cuidadosamente na Bíblia, testifica a respeito desse fato político.
Salomão era o homem mais sábio que jamais viveu e ele foi o rei de uma poderosa e rica nação, Israel. Sua sabedoria era conhecida em todo o mundo (IRs 4:29-34). Ele escreveu 3.000 provérbios e 1.005 cânticos. Ele aumentou grandemente o conhecimento de botânica, de zoologia e de ciência política. Governos enviavam seus homens para inquirirem a respeito de sua grande sabedoria. Ele herdou o trono de Davi, seu pai e ensinou ao seu filho como preservar a nação.
Ele ensinou num outro provérbio, "A justiça exalta as nações, mas o pecado é o opróbrio dos povos." (Pv 14:34). Existem leis naturais e sobrenaturais operando em cada governo e em cada nação. As leis naturais são as consequências da corrupção, do engano, da fraude, do pecado e da maldade de um povo. Leis sobrenaturais são as recompensas ou as punições sobre um governo ou uma nação por suas políticas e práticas.
Quando uma nação se coloca contra a Origem da autoridade, o Próprio Deus, e a sabedoria da autoridade, a Palavra de Deus, eles enfrentarão uma situação em que tanto as leis naturais como as sobrenaturais os punirão. A corrupção gera a corrupção. Uma nação corrupta terá um governo corrupto e um governo corrupto estará sujeito à decadência, a desconfiança, o tumulto e a revolução. Os príncipes se multiplicarão à medida que os golpes sucessivos prejudicarão qualquer continuidade. O grande Deus punirá aquela nação para garantir a integridade da Sua Palavra (Is 3:1-7; Os 13:11).
Os muitos príncipes deste provérbio são os muitos príncipes na sucessão. Apesar do crescimento exponencial e destrutivo de um governo burocrático ser terrível, este provérbio não está ensinando isso. Como é que podemos saber isto? Compare as duas partes da construção do provérbio. Os muitos príncipes estão contrastando com o prolongamento do estado. A longevidade e a estabilidade da autoridade civil dependem da justiça de uma nação.
Um governo prosperará enquanto uma nação e seus líderes forem justos. Um homem de entendimento e conhecimento não é meramente um tolo graduado, o produto da ignorância da educação moderna. Ele é mais um homem que teme a Deus e busca a justiça, a base do entendimento e do conhecimento (Pv 1:7; 9:10; Jó 28:28; Sl 111:10). Tanto as bênçãos naturais e as sobrenaturais recompensarão o líder justo e a nação. Abençoado e feliz é o povo cujo Deus é o Senhor (Sl 33:12; 144:15).
Nenhuma nação na terra hoje exalta Deus e a Sua justiça; assim o ambiente político do mundo é muito instável, sejam nações isoladas ou um grupo delas. As nações que se colocaram mais abertamente contra Deus e a verdade têm sido os mais instáveis. A frequência de golpes, tumultos e revoluções numa nação reflete o seu grau de rebelião contra a autoridade divina e a santidade bíblica.
A Revolução Francesa não foi um acidente: ela foi o resultado de um ateísmo estimulado antes dela. A Alemanha, o lar de Marx, Nietzsche e Freud tem sido politicamente consumido nos últimos 100 anos. A Rússia atéia teve três formas opressivas de governo durante o mesmo período. E os Estados Unidos, uma jovem nação, está fadada a passar por semelhantes perturbações se não houver arrependimento.
O que é que você pode fazer? Viva a vida justa que Deus exige em Sua Palavra e ore pela sua nação e seus líderes (Jr 29:4-7; ITm 2:1-2). Você pode ser aquele que o Senhor procura como o intercessor da paz e da continuidade do estado (Ez 22:29-31). É o dever de cada cidadão temente a Deus buscar a misericórdia Dele em favor da terra perversa (IICr 7:14).

2. Is there a meaning behind their name, or a particular reason why they have it? (either in the story, or why you as the author decided to give them their name)
mostly i chose the name based on popular ones from the location and era tbh but the meanings of “voyager, traveler” and “blessed” don’t feel UNfitting. her journey is a rough one but she doesn’t make it alone, she certainly has the blessing of community at least.
3. What does their voice sound like, in a couple of words? (ie soft, scratchy, seductive, high-pitched, etc)
on the lower side of average, clear, melodic
4. Do they have any underlying motivations? (ie they seem hard-working but secretly just don’t want to fall back into poverty, etc)
well it’s not quite a motivation per se, itms an explanation for some of her actions and thought patterns, but she has what we now know is bipolar 1. in her time she’s considered moody and ill-tempered and somewhat of a religious fanatic (due to some of her mania symptoms) but if she lived in our time my hope for her would be that someone would recognize her symptoms and get her help!!!
8. What is their coping mechanism?
keeping busy — which is easy to do as a rancher and single mom. keeping her mind and body worn down like that leaves no room for heartache.
14. How is their relationship with their family? Which family member are they closest to?
for the earliest years of her life she has three (polyamorous) parents and gets on fairly well with each of them. her mother dies violently when she’s seven, and she bonds closer w/ her other parents in the wake of that tragedy. and as an adult, she’s very close with her daughter until the latter’s rebellious teenage years. they become closer again when she’s an adult.
15. Has their personality changed at all since they were a child? Why?
she’s definitely become hardened over the years. she was old at a young age if that makes sense (losing her mom really hurt her) but she has an iron sense of self that could only have developed with time.
