something something no matter how old someone is, they were someone's baby once
#BG3 Musing#Halsin Posting#the only things we know is that halsin remembers his father's face enough that he is able to see that he resembles him in the mirror#that his mother knew him better than anyone else (and still holds that title according to him)#and that they're both dead#something something i think halsin misses home a lot - or whatever was once his home that time ago#it's such a small thing but i genuinely think halsin is one of those cases that was prematurely separated from his family#and has just been searching for a root to grab hold of ever since#it's also interesting to hear when immortals or long lifers muse on their parents because it does point#to the fact that regardless of how formidable they are now - regardless of what they've accomplished and how much they've seen#they are flesh and blood like any other#i talked about this before but i will talk about it again actually#it's the displacementTM#if you followed me for anything other than this elf man i apologizetm (not)#but also connect it with shadowheart being separated from her parents - i'm drawing lines
