given that joel and ellie are less than a week's ride away from jackson wyoming, i wonder if the next episode is going to be ellie trying to make her way back on her own to get help, and along the way is when she runs into david and co. we wouldn't have the winter timeskip in this scenario, but we'd still have ellie trying to be self sufficient to save joel, which is the same gist

#uhhhh me #tlou #this is probably just the constant problem solver running in my mind lol #my question was 'if they're not That far from tommy what's stopping ellie from going back for help'#the answer is 'ellie doesn't want to leave joel even for a few days in case he needs her help'#but i noticed in the show they're trying to quote unquote 'fix' some less realistic stuff the game had #e.g. ellie and riley only having to fight one (1) infected instead of a horde #and joel getting stabbed normally instead of falling off a balcony and getting run through with a rebar #i can see them thinking joel surviving in that fevered semiunconscious state for Months is unrealistic #therefore hereto ergo #it's a big possibility they'd take out the timeskip entirely #which is what led me to thinking this post #if that made any sense LMAO
