Xがほしい - X is desirable (To want something)

Noun + が + ほしいい

ほしいい is an い-adjective which means “desirable”. By using Xがほしい, you’re literally describing X as desirable (and in turn communicating that you want X).

There's nothing new about this concept of Noun + が[い adjective]. The pattern is everywhere, just with the variables (X and い-adjective) changing.

Examples:

あの綺麗な着物がほしい。I want that beautiful kimono. (lit. that beautiful kimono is desirable).

使い(やすい)箸がほしい。I want chopsticks that are easy to use. (lit. easy-to-use chopsticks are desirable).

いい服などがほしいです。I want things such as nice clothes. (lit. good clothes and such are desirable).

There is an instance where you can use ほしいい for verbs, when you want someone else to do something. It comes in the form of [てform verb]ほしいい. For example,

私の彼氏(かれし)に大事(だいじ)にしてほしい。I want my boyfriend to treat me like I'm important. (lit. my boyfriend treating (me) like i’m important is desirable).

ECCジュニア田村町教室、中学生クラスで演奏してみたい楽器の話題になった時「ウクレレ」と言ったら、「っぽい～！www」と賛同された中村です。

予定があったり、仕事があったり、体調を優先したりで、がっつりチャリ活が出来ていない今日この頃。 行きたい紅葉スポットもいくつかあるのですが、このままあっさり冬に突入しそうやもんな。 写真の景色ネタがない。。。

「皆様もこうしましょう！」的なアドバイスのつもりはないです。 私が日々子どもたちと接する上で大切にしている事を、独り言ちている、、、といった内容でしょうか。

生徒の皆と相対する中で、私がどういったことを大切にしているのかを、少しでもお伝えできればなと思っています。 もしかして、どこかの誰かの思考の一助になれば、これ幸いかな。

失敗しても大丈夫！ 自己肯定感が高いと、失敗後に落ち込みすぎることなく、その後どう動くかをしっかり考えられる人間になります。

ん？自己肯定感が高いから失敗を受け入れられるのか。 失敗を受け入れられるから自己肯定感が高いのか？ よう分からんことになってきたw

自己肯定感、日本人は低めなんて言われていますね。 自己肯定感が高いというのは、自信過剰とは違います。 自分で自分を大切にする気持ちというのは、奥ゆかしさ？の反対ではありません。 日本人の気質が自己肯定感の低さの理由というのは、なんか違うと思っています。

子どもの場合は、自分の身近な人間の行動、考え方、言葉に、大きな影響を受けます。 だからこそ、子どもたちに接する人間の一人として、見せる行動と届ける言葉は、大事にしなければいけません。

「カギ」、5つはあると思っているので、まだしばらくネタを引っ張る事になるな(笑) 疲れたら、別ネタを時々挟むかもしれませんが、ちゃんと5つ、書き切る心づもりでおりまます。 ゆるゆる、聞いたってください。

著者は高校の家庭科教員として２０年働いた後、大学院に進学し社会学で修士、栄養学で博士号を取得し、「若者の引きこもり、女性の労働問題などをテーマに取材執筆活動をおこなっている」そうです。

　学校文化とは 「メリトクラシー [ 「努力すれば報われる」 という考え方。] を信じている」 「成績がよければ自己実現につながり、喜びが持てる職業に就ける」 「職業人としての自覚が持てる」 などを金科玉条としている。これを受け入れて、内面化した生徒たちが、学校文化になじむグループ。（p２２）

で、反学校文化とはその反対。著者が書いてる定義は私にはちと納得いかないのでここにはうつさない。

著者がこの本の取材対象である元女子高生たち、勉強をしない学生たちが通う、今で言うところの底辺校（私はこの言い方が大嫌いだ。結局成績の如何で評価してるじゃないか）に通っていた女子たちに関心を持つようになったのは、優秀で高学歴な女性は名誉おっさんになって男中心社会を支える位置にいたりするが、低学歴の女子たちはそうではないと著者が感じたから。私にはよお分からんけどね。

こう言うのを研究してる人が資料として読むのにはいい本なんだろうと思う。以上。

When your heart is open, everything is possible. Today is my birthday, and after terrible past years and traumatic birthdays experiences, I promised myself to be kind to the world whatever the world wants to give to me. So today I was confident no one would really remember my birthday besides FB birthdays, neither my family, but I was okay; honestly, my mind and soul were prepared and started with this small cake and playing on youtube some happy birthday songs alone at home. I was confident this would be the best part of my day. Oh boy, I was wrong... Absurdly wrong! After having a great class with my brand-new students, my heart literally stopped. I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. The entire church prepared, not a small, but a HUGE party, with heart cake, pizzas, tteobokki, presents, and confetti 🎉... 20 people celebrating my birthday was incredible. I can't describe the feeling to embrace people who barely know me. It was way above and beyond my expectations. Even right now, writing and looking at the photos is still undeniably the best birthday I have had in so long time! I swear no one, even my own blood, did so much like them. I cried, and I'm still crying and sobbing with the size of the generosity and love I received from people. It's God saying all my efforts are worth it, and the good I do always come back. But this is not all... they gave me this lovely happy birthday hairband. They asked: are you going with this hairband on the train? And guess what? I went all my way back home with it, everyone looking. And Im .....Feeling fabulous!!! But what I didn't expect was a super friendly Japanese lady started talking with me exactly because of the hair band, saying literally to not care how other Japanese people judge me. And to my surprise, she speaks French and English (ngl my French is terrible), but this leads me to more than an hour of conversation and more +1 friend. Yes, thank you for making my birthday the best I can even imagine. I want to tell you about my way of keeping kanji in my head. And test yourself for them.

As an adherent of the idea "if you don't use it, you won't learn it", I come up with a phrase for each group of six kanji that uses all of them. It does not have to be original-logical, if only it remains in memory in the form of a situation.

It is fashionable to visualize it and arrange the kanji in this visualization (like the halls of the mind) or memorize it itself.

A nice bonus if you use a tricky grammatical form in a phrase that you want to remember 😉

I have a page at hand on which phrases, including all the kanji learned in a particular sector, are written only using hiragana. My task is to rewrite them, but using kanji.

And if some of them escaped my head, write them out separately, drive them into the dictionary and rewrite the words using this kanji into the notebook - as long as it takes for the hand to start writing it on its own.
