The Wands of Fantastic Beasts
So this is very different from what I normally post. I hope y’all enjoy and if you agree or disagree, I would love to hear what you have to say. This post is long and very picture heavy so I will continue below the cut.
Let me say that I think most of these wands are actually well executed individually, and I think the team who designed and made these wands is very talented. That being said, some have large flaws and when seen as a collection, they feel very lazy, especially the wands from the second movie. I am aware of three other wands (Bunty’s, one labled “Auror’s wand” and a purplish wand). However, I was unable to find good pictures or other reviews online, so I was forced to exclude them.
1) Tina’s Wand
Tumblr media
Tina’s wand features a well-defined handle and cleanly tapered shaft. It has very plain lines, and primarily adds visual interest with the grain and mild color variation. This wand is somewhat unusual because it is not in the Art Deco style. However, this works because Tina has a no nonsense, no frills approach to life, and this wand reflects that. The simple and clean lines speak to practical mind and an appreciation of a quiet beauty, much like Tina herself.  This wand is my favorite because it really does reflect its master and its understated beauty.
2) Bernadette’s Wand
Tumblr media
Bernadette has a pale wand with a nodular shaft/handle and an offset pommel that has been carved into a face. Frankly, this wand is great. The detailed carving and the pale color make it stand out. I have seen the face described as either a mummy’s face or a faun’s. In either case, it is a unique and somewhat bold choice that I think paid off. That being said, I personally find the face a little creepy which is why Tina’s wand is Number 1.
3) Rosier’s Wand
Tumblr media
Vinda Rosier wields a rather neutral looking wand. The wand is a rich, dark brown wood with reddish tones that become more pronounced towards mid shaft before fading into dark brown at the tip. The wand itself is made of several elongated ovals separated by smooth dips.  While I do not like silhouette of this wand, I think the color is lovely, and I applaud the designers for not giving a dark looking wand to a dark character.
7) Skender’s Wand
Tumblr media
Skender’s wand has a ball pommel and a minimally tapered shaft with a thick square tip. The two sections are joined by a gold band. What really stands out on this wand is the color: the shaft is a yellowy olive with pointed black striping and the pommel is bright red. The simple design really lets the colors be the stand out feature on this wand.
8) Spielman’s Wand
Tumblr media
Spielman has a somewhat unusual square cross section wand. The shaft is a clean black taper. This simplicity forms a sharp contrast with the detailed off-white and silver handle. The pommel is a heavy silver thing with two meander/Greek key borders. A meander is also used to decorate the small silver cross guard. The bulk of the bone/ivory(?) handle is divided into four sections by three silver bands. All of these sections have a small silver stud on each face.
This wand is very well designed. The colors complement each other, and the meander is expertly used to highlight the square cross section. I like playing with the cross sections on wands, so seeing a well-executed square one is nice. That being said, I do think some decoration on the plain shaft would balance out the rich handle.
9) Leta’s Wand
Tumblr media
Leta uses slender black and silver wand. The handle features two wide silver bands both covered with delicate, hammered scroll work. The remainder of the handle is made of an elegant, multi strand twist. The shaft is long and quite thin, giving the wand a unique silhouette.
This wand is well designed. It is feminine and classy, but not overstated.
10) Percival Graves’ Wand
Tumblr media
Perceval Graves has a deceptively simple wand. The glossy black shaft is separated from the handle by a thin silver ring. The silver pommel resembles an inverted rook, and is joined to the handle by a thinner silver rod.
I think this is a well-designed wand, and while I am generally not a fan of wands with lots of metal, I think it works in this case. Part of this comes from the wand echoing some of the more futuristic Art Deco schools, and part come from the black and silver color scheme. In the first series black and silver wands were rare, so this wand stood out because of the unusual colors. However, black and silver wands have become more common and robbed this wand of some of its uniqueness.
11) Abernathy’s Wand
Tumblr media
Abernathy’s wand features a black handle with an asymmetric spiral and a large ¾ ball pommel. A silver band separates the handle from the plain, medium brown shaft.
I think this is serviceable wand. I like the asymmetrical twist, and think it goes nicely with the pommel. However, while the colors do complement each other, the shaft is very plain, and almost looks like it was made from a different material from the handle, though it is possible that the handle was painted.
12) Yusuf Kama’s Wand
Tumblr media
Yusuf Kama’s wand shares a similar color palette with Abernathy’s: the shaft is slightly darker and there is a touch more silver. The additional silver comes in the form of a broad pommel cap that has a slightly pitted finish. From here, the wand flows into a slim handle with two raised rings marking the middle. The silver cross guard slightly tapers to the shaft. While most lines on this wand (the grooves, rings and color transitions) run perpendicular to the wand, the cross guard has some delicate fluting that lies parallel to the wand. While subtle, this does serve to make that element the focal point of the wand.
I like the fluting on the cross guard, and overall, think the wand is generally fine, even if the shaft is a tad plain.
13) Theseus’s Wand
Tumblr media
Theseus Scamander’s wand has a simple, gently tapered silhouette, and a plain warm toned wooden shaft. The shaft contrasts nicely with the rich gold and tortoise shell handle.
I like the similarities in the Scamander brother’s wands: both are simple baton style with shell accents. In Theseus’ case the similarities have all been polished and the wand looks like it belongs to a member of the British upper class. That being said, this wand really does feel like a non-wood handle was added to the wand.
14) Newt’s Wand
Tumblr media
Newt’s wand is a simple baton, with a rustic, well used finish. The darker handle is separated from the shaft by a blueish band. The wand has a hollow pommel lined with mother of pearl.
I do not like the hollow pommel, as that is a weak spot, susceptible to breaking, and it will get filled with dirt, water, and other debris. I know that the designers wanted a natural look, with animal elements, but I think they tried too hard and it shows.
15) Queenie’s Wand
Tumblr media
Queenie’s is mostly a slim black shaft. The visual interesting parts are located in the elongated two-part pommel. The first part is bright gold, miter-eques band that is decorated with an incised banner pattern. The band grips a mother of pearl column which cumulates in a delicate shell. When seen in a void, this wand is incredibly Art Deco, both in materials and motifs.
I have read that this wand was supposed to be “sexy”, but I personally don’t see it. I question the inclusion of that much shell, which would be fragile and likely to break (although if this is painted wood, I applaud the skill that went into the carving and painting.). I also think too much emphasis is put in the pommel/handle to the detriment of the shaft. Part of Art Deco is showing of the richness, and if in every day use all you can see it the very plain shaft, it kind of fails as an Art Deco piece.
16) Flamel’s Wand
Tumblr media
Flamel uses a very plain brown wand. Much like Queenie’s, the plain shaft makes up most of the wand. The handle/pommel is made from a slightly curved horn. The horn is joined to the shaft by an aged gold band that has a slightly raised, swirling pattern. I am very, very, disappointed with this design. Flamel is ancient and you would think his wand would have a radically different look. Instead with the very plain shaft and fancy handle, this wand fits in with the modern wands in the rest of the collection. I would expect this wand to have significant gothic influence, with intricate, allegorical scenes, lots of fine details, and, possibly, painted areas to mimic stained glass.
17) Albus Dumbledore’s Wand
Tumblr media
Dumbledore uses a black and silver wand. It features a broadly flared silver pommel that flows into the black handle. The handle is joined to the shaft by a broad silver band etched with runes. Just distal to this band is a delicate three-part hollow twist, smooth in the outside, yet rough on the inside. This then blends smoothly into the rest of the shaft.  This wand is visually interesting. But I have serious issues with the hollow twist. The location is where you would expect the most stress to be if you hit something while holding the wand, and with that area weakened, where you would expect the wand to snap. Additionally, how does the core run through that section?
18) Seraphina Picquery’s Wand
Tumblr media
Seraphina uses a wand with a large amethyst crystal handle that draws most of the attention. The crystal is griped by a delicate silver cage which joins it to the shaft. The wood shaft is a very simple dark brown baton. Overall the color plate work’s well, and the silver cages serves as a textural focus point, with both the crystal and wood having almost no texture.
While this wand does preserve the Art Deco feel, the large crystal looks like it belongs on a high fantasy fairy wand or a Wiccan wand rather than a Harry Potter wand. Additionally, the crystal is clearly grafted onto wood shaft, which raises questions about how the wand was originally constructed. Were the crystal and silver handle originally part of the wand? If so what was the cost of the wand? Was it added later, and how did that change the balance of the wand? To my mind, this wand is the epitome of an overly extravagant, inorganic handle grafted onto a very, very plain wooden shaft.
Overall thoughts:
Let me be clear, I think the props designers are fantastically talented, and by and large most of these wands are individually very well done. And there are some fantastic wands and some really awful ones. However, when you look at the overall collection it feels…lazy and over decorated.
Art Deco was clearly a major inspiration for the wands. I have also read that the design team wanted to go in a different direction, and separate these wands from those in the original series. And I think both ideas are good: it’s a different time, and Art Deco really is big at this point. But I think they got too wrapped up in the new, Art Deco direction and failed to adhere to the basics, both in wand design and in Art Deco.
Too many of the wands look like they are plain batons grafted onto decorative handles. While there is nothing wrong with having a plain shaft, and most wands will have a plain shaft, here it is taken to an extreme.  Queenie, Picquery, Theseus, Speilman, Leta, and to a lesser extent Flamel, all have very rich, extremely detailed handles, that often seem to be made of non-wood materials. These handles stand in stark contrast to the shafts, all of which are very plain, and few have any notable grain. This contrast sharply with the books, in which wands are wood and the original series, where non wood accents are used sparingly. These new wands with their large non wood sections are a substantial reversal from the wood wands of both movie and book cannon. Secondly, as I noted for Queenie’s wand, part of Art Deco is showing off the rich exotic materials you are using. While these wands undoubtably have such materials used in their construction, they are exclusively confined to the handle which is covered in normal use. This means what you see most of the time, is a plain shaft, which really isn’t Art Deco.
The color palate is somewhat condensed, and this detrimental the Art Deco theme. A third of the wands use black and silver. This combination is very classy and elegant, but it is overdone. Before black and silver wands were unique, and stood out: now it is common, and slightly cheap. Wood comes in a staggering array of colors, and this collection does not reflect that. There are a myriad shades of brown, cream, tan and colors beyond that too. There is Padauk, Redheart, Redwood, Bloodwood, (all varying shades of red) Canarywood (gold and brown striped), Yellowheart (bright yellow), Osage Orange (orange), Purpleheart (purple), Pink Ivory (ranges from a pale pink to watermelon red), Lignum Vitae and Sassafras (both are often an olive green), and Holly (one of, if not the, whitest wood). And then there is grain. Black and White ebony is noted for its striking black and white stripping. Ziricote is valued for it’s beautiful landscape like grain, and the cream and chocolate stripping of zebra wood is always stunning. Spalting adds unique patterns and colors, while figured grain is not uncommon and can and an extra bit of oomph to another wise simple design. Using some of the above mentioned could have contributed that richness in the Art Deco style and added more variation.
There is also a huge missed opportunity here to show how different countries and wandmakers have different styles. There are American, British, German, and French wands here, but there is no real difference in the style, with the exception of Bernadette’s. We get a glimpse of this in the original series, with both Gregorovitch wands having a strong organic aesthetic (one can also include Grindelwald’s original wand in this group, as he appears to come from the same region).  Unfortunately, this does not carry over into this series.

plead the fifth: jung jaehyun
bonjour!! I wrote this because I love jaehyun more than just about anyone else lol a/n: this is suggestive and dialogue heavy any feedback would be appreciated!!💛 ((I didn’t revise this yet lol pease ignore the mistakes thx))
Tumblr media
Jung Jaehyun—a writer for the university’s student magazine, 4.0 student, Kappa Sigma member, and one of the most irritating people I’ve ever met. He sometimes spends late nights in the office helping other young writers for the magazine, and other nights he is nowhere to be found besides drunk at a frat party. He calls me almost every Friday and Saturday night asking for a ride back to his house because he is too drunk to find his way home, but then when he sees me at the office, he makes brusque passing comments. As the editor of the magazine, I’ve read his articles multiple times. Nothing annoys me more than the quality of his writing. How could such an obnoxious human being also be so talented? It is like he is invisible to karma’s radar.
An even greater annoyance than his skillful writing and photography is his looks. He is no doubt extremely handsome. Light brown hair falls into his eyes and reveals the center of his forehead. A rosy hue splashes across his lips and cheeks, and two deep dimples appear whenever he flashes his pristine teeth. Paired with being six feet tall and warm umber eyes, it is no surprise girls throw themselves at him. It’s too bad his lousy personality seems to ruin any of his chances at a happy relationship.
Even though I find him such a despicable person, there is something about Jaehyun that keeps me on my toes. When it’s just the two of us, there’s a magnetic pull about his mischievous smile that I can’t seem to escape, but when we aren’t the only people in the room, he addresses me as his boss and talks only of work. We have spent nights together before, but it couldn’t be friends with benefits because, well, we aren’t friends. Perhaps it is a frustration between us due to our contrasting lifestyles, but whatever it is, it keeps us in limbo.
The computer dings, resounding through the tiny office. I sigh gently while clicking the email notification from Jaehyun. My fingers wrap around the paper cup from the coffee shop down the street, and I sip from the plastic lid while my eyes scan the article Jaehyun sent over. As editor of the school’s magazine I am in charge of putting together the final product, so I spend late hours at my desk alternating between homework and reading articles the writers send me. My brain mulls over Jaehyun’s words as I set the coffee cup back on to desk.
Fashion month as we know it is coming to an end. Between fast fashion’s increasing ability to uncover trends before runways and designers opting for runway schedules closer to their lines’ prospective seasons, more and more names have fallen off of the rosters. Because of this the focus of fashion month has turned its attention to street style. Each city seems to have their own unique vibe. New York embodies a whimsical yet chic style paired with bold accessories. Paris is filled with neutral color blocks and prints, brandishing designer emblems on t-shirts and belts and bags. Seoul, a previously overlooked fashion powerhouse, is now the center of the world’s attention. The street style here in Seoul is like nothing else. A fusion of futuristic and vintage, minimalist and maximalist, Eastern and Western—we are in the emerging fashion capital of the world.
A knock on the door pulls me from my own head. Jaehyun stands in the threshold, leaning against the wooden frame. A gentle smile is spread across his cheeks, revealing hints of his dimples. I rub my tired eyes as he pads across the floor towards my desk, “Your article is really good, Jaehyun. I like your comparison of each city’s street style.”
”Why are you still here?” his voice is gentle as he leans against the edge of my desk. I look to him with furrowed brows, “I’ve seen you here late every night this week, and I know there’s a lot of work you need to get done for school. The bags under your eyes are darker than usual and your eyes are red from staring at the computer.”
”How else it everything going to get done, Jaehyun?” I finish the rest of the coffee and toss the empty cup into the waste basket next to my desk. He watches my every move as he speaks, “Let’s get out of here. There’s no point in staying any longer tonight.”
”I can make it home by myself,” I reply briskly, annoyance laced within my tone. He crosses his arms, as equally annoyed as me, “I was going to take you to get a drink and just relax—live a little.”
”Don’t you drink enough?” I mutter, turning away from his gaze to put everything into my backpack. He laughs loudly as he raises his voice slightly, “Are you my mother?”
”Get out of my office, Jaehyun,” I sigh, putting my head in my hands. He leans into me, his lips near my ear, “You can’t get rid of me that easily.”
”Jung Jaehyun,” my voice is angry, “you are the most irritating person I’ve ever met.”
”And you’re the most biddable person I’ve ever met,” he shoots back, standing from the desk while stretching his hand out. “Now let’s go.”
I grumpily follow him through the parking lot, huffing and puffing with each step. He opens the passenger door of his car, and I pass by his tall frame without uttering a single thank you. My backpack is placed next to my feet as I stretch the seatbelt across my body. The leather interior of the car is comfortable, and everything smells faintly of Jaehyun’s cologne. The engine turns over before the car lurches forward into the night. My head leans against the headrest as my eyes scan the lights of Seoul as we drive by their ambient rays. The ride is quiet, filled with a palpable tension and electricity buzzing in the air. Jaehyun turns the radio up in an attempt to drown out the atmosphere around us but nothing seems to work. I sigh quietly as my eyes flutter shut, becoming comfortable against the leather seats. Jaehyun glances over and a pang of guilt overwhelms him. He freezes—why does he feel this way?
The car rolls to a stop at a red light, and Jaehyun reaches behind his seat for a sweatshirt thrown across his backseat. He tentatively placed it across my torso, watching my bare arms disappear beneath the fabric. My voice drips with annoyance, “What are you doing?”
”I’m trying to help you, you know,” he mutters, equally as annoyed before pulling away at the light. I open my eyes gently, glancing at Jaehyun from the corners of my eyes. A strange feeling overcomes me as I watch him—my cheeks radiate heat and a smile spreads across my lips. What is happening to me?
”Where are you taking me? Your go-to bar was two exits back,” I comment, burying my hands deeper into the sweatshirt. A smug smile spreads across his face, “You remembered?”
I punch his arm as I raise my voice, “It’s not that deep, Jaehyun!”
He laughs at my irritated response, “I’m taking you home because you’re tired. You need to get some sleep.”
Something pulls in my chest at his words, and my eyes study his face for the rest of the ride in silence. A gentle rain begins falling from the sky, providing ambient noise to our quiet night. The university’s radio station that he also works at plays Zion T, and Jaehyun murmurs along with the gentle music. I close my eyes, feeling comfortable in the atmosphere of the car, and fade in and out of sleep. Jaehyun glances over to my sleeping figure, head tipped back against the leather seat and back facing the window. He feels that same pull in his chest as me, but he ignores it as he continues to speed through Seoul. A million thoughts race through his mind, and all too soon he rolls to a stop in front of my building. The rain continues to fall around us, and Jaehyun hesitates to wake me. I look peaceful, content beneath his sweatshirt and surrounded by the ambient noise. He lets a few minutes pass to allow me to sleep, but eventually he reaches across and shakes my shoulder gently. He smiles as my eyes open, “You’re home.”
I furrow my brows and squint against the light, “Why are you acting weird?”
”What? I can be nice, you know. I’m not all sarcasm and sex.”
I roll my eyes while handing the sweatshirt back to Jaehyun, “But isn’t that all we are? Two people that annoy the hell out of each other and experience a lot of sexual tension?”
”Well,” Jaehyun begins, a mischievous smile ghosting his lips, “come to Kappa Sigma’s party and have a drink with me tomorrow. Then, I’ll stop acting weird.”
”And why should I do that?” an equally as sly smile playing on my lips.
”You need to relax a little bit,” his lips are close to my ear, but he leans back into his seat after he speaks. I begin to open the door, but Jaehyun stops me before I exit the car, “Put the sweatshirt on. It’s still raining.”
I pull the fabric over my head and he smiles, eyeing me up as he mutters, “That’s better.”
”Fine,” I huff, “I’ll meet you tomorrow at Kappa.”
He smiles broadly, flashing deep dimples and crinkling eyes, “Great, I’ll see you tomorrow. Good night.”
The next day passes with little thought of Jaehyun or the coming party. I attend each class, acquiring more assignments with each passing hour, and even spend some time working on the school magazine. My bag hits the floor with a loud thump as the front door slams shut. My roommate Hyejin immediately comes rushing out of the bedroom, holding up Jaehyun’s sweatshirt. She exclaims as she runs towards me, “I told you he was catching feelings!”
”Hyejin,” I begin, sitting at the kitchen island, “we are just coworkers that sometimes have sex.”
She places her hands on her hips, “You definitely care about him if you keep picking him up when he’s drunk so you know he makes it home safely, or going out to eat with him after work.”
”It’s not like that,” I mutter, but she refuses to listen. “You’re hanging out with him tonight, aren’t you?”
”We,” I emphasize, referring to Hyejin’s going to the party, “are going to Kappa Sigma’s tonight.”
A smirk spreads across her face, “Maybe it’s not so bad you care about Jaehyun.”
”Shut up and help me pick an outfit.”
Hyejin pulls hanger after hanger out of the closet, inspecting the piece of clothing before throwing it on to the bed. After five minutes of rummaging through my belongings, she turns to me with wide eyes, “Do you still have those clothes Jaehyun left from the last time he was here?”
I find myself standing before the full-length mirror hanging off the back of my door, admiring the entire outfit Hyejin put together. One of Jaehyun’s printed tees beneath his blush denim jacket adorned my body, and black skinny jeans cling to my legs. I turn to Hyejin, “I love it, but you think it’s good to wear?”
”You really don’t go out enough,” she frowns, placing a hand on my shoulder. “It’s a frat party! You‘re not supposed to dress up! But-“
Hyejin hurries across the room, digging through a drawer frantically before pulling out a lingerie set. White lace roses spread across transparent fabric, and the two pieces complement each other perfectly. My jaw drops and she laughs loudly, “Jaehyun will react the same way.”
”You’re gross,” I spit back, begrudgingly accepting the clothing from her hand as she walks out of the room laughing to herself.
I regret my decision the moment I step into the house, greeted by masses of loud people with drinks in their hands. A wide smile spreads across Hyejin’s face, and she links or arms before dragging me through the house. A drink is placed in my hand and before I can protest, Hyejin is knocking her’s back as a man in the corner watches her with wide eyes. I nudge her before nodding to the boy in the corner, and she approached him confidently, hips swaying as she stumbles through the crowd. She returns moments later, the boy following behind her. She introduces him to me as Johnny, and I immediately recognize him. He is one of Jaehyun’s friends from the radio. The three of us talk for a while as Johnny and Hyejin move closer and closer to one another. Eventually they are lost in their own world, sipping each other’s drinks while sitting together on the chair in the corner. I find myself standing alone in the middle of the party, desperately wishing to be anywhere but trapped in the kitchen of a frat boy’s apartment. Someone taps on my shoulder gently, and I spin around only to be greeted with Jaehyun’s grinning face.
”You’re wearing my clothes,” he states, fingers running across my collarbone hidden beneath his clothing. “Now you’re the one acting weird.”
”It took you long enough to find me,” I brush his hand from my shoulder as annoyance weaves its way into my words. He laughs, grabbing my hand as he leads me through the party, “I know exactly how to push your buttons, don’t I?”
When I don’t answer, Jaehyun stops in his tracks. He faces me with his lips dangerously close to my ear. His voice is quiet—his words meant only for my ears, “Don’t I, princess?”
”Shut up,” I mutter, heat rising up my neck and across my cheeks. “Just take me wherever you were going.”
Jaehyun guides me through the large apartment, up the stairs and past the bedroom, before opening the sliding doors to a balcony overlooking the city. A soft gasp falls from my lips at the sight as a chilling breeze blows through my clothes. Jaehyun notices, and he gingerly wraps his arms around my waist while resting his chin on my shoulder. I freeze at his contact. My heart begins pounding and my cheeks turn red. Despite my body’s reaction, my voice conveys a different feeling, “Jaehyun, what are you doing?”
”Drop the act for once,” his voice resounds near my ear, sending goosebumps across my body. “This is somewhat nice, isn’t it? Not at each other’s throats all the time?”
”Again, isn’t that all we are? Frenemies with benefits?”
”Fine,” he huffs, disconnecting from my waist. For a split moment I miss his contact, but I come to my senses and turn around to face him. His frame towers over me, and I find myself pinned between Jaehyun’s body and the corner of the balcony’s rail. He sticks his hand out, waiting for mine, “I’m Jung Jaehyun. I’m a writer for the school’s magazine, DJ for one of the university’s radio shows, and a literature major. I’m a member of Kappa Sigma, too. I love to read, listen to music, and watch movies. It’s nice to meet you. I’m looking forward to being friends.”
I watch him with a puzzled look, and as I open my mouth to respond, the sliding doors fly open and a group of people begin filing on to the balcony. They freeze in their tracks when they see us in such a close stance, but Jaehyun warmly invites them out, assuring them nothing is being interrupted. I recognize one boy from his position at the magazine, Jungwoo. Jaehyun always put time aside to help him. The quiet boy stares at us in confusion—Jaehyun and I’s annoyance with one another is no secret—but he continues to step out into the night air. Jaehyun inches closer to my body, his arm sneaking around my waist and leaning against the balcony. Our hips lean into one another, and we stand quietly as the people around us spark up conversations.
Soon, a game of Plead the Fifth starts with Yuta, another of Jaehyun’s friends, pairing each person on the balcony up with someone of the opposite sex. Refusing to answer a question—pleading the fifth—results in having to kiss your partner for at least fifteen seconds. Of course, Yuta pairs Jaehyun and I together, a devilish smirk on his face as he announces the couples. He must be aware of our history. I lean against Jaehyun, my back facing his chest, and his arms wrapped protectively around my waist. Every time the wind blows his grip on me tightens and a small smile spreads wider across my face. The game starts fairly innocent, people asking questions such as what is the most embarrassing photo of you or what was the last lie you told. The combination of alcohol and college boys quickly leads the game down a much more sexual path. The questions become increasingly intimate, and more and more couples are caught in a kiss than before. Jaehyun and I lock lips a couple of times throughout the game, becoming infinitely closer on the balcony. His hands bury themselves inside my jacket pockets, and his fingers intertwine with mine. A strange sense of comfort fills me—why am I feeling this way?
Hyejin turns to me with dark eyes and an evil smirk on her lips. She watches Jaehyun and I’s interaction before speaking. Her voice permeates the entire balcony, “Name three things you do—in the bedroom—that drives Jaehyun crazy.”
A groan resounds from my lips as the entire balcony buzzes with chatter. Many of the people didn’t know we have history until her question. Jaehyun leans in close to me, aware of every pair of eyes on him. My face burns red at the thought of divulging any information, and after a few moments of silence, I turn to Jaehyun. He smirks before whispering, “Go ahead and tell them. Just be honest.”
Shrieks erupt as they hear his words, and the girls are already making assumptions about my answer. They yell out different ideas, each one more risqué than the last. Jaehyun squeezes my hands tighter in my pockets as he clears his throat. It becomes quiet, a hush falling across the balcony. Girls stare at me with wide eyes, and a gentle smirk spreads across Jaehyun’s cheeks. I can feel the heat radiating up my neck as I speak, “Don’t tease me.”
”Tell us!” Hyejin begins to whine as the other girls agree with her. Jaehyun shifts behind me, releasing a breath he didn’t realize he was holding, and listens to the words rolling off my tongue. My voice is meek beneath the night air, each person anticipating what I will say, “Ok, let’s make this short and sweet. Number 1: the obvious one, suck his dick. Number 2: when I beg for different things. Number 3: lap dances.”
The girls around the balcony squeal at my divulging of information, and the boys look at Jaehyun with shocked smiles. I spin in his arms, hiding my burning face into his jacket, as he laughs while pulling me firmly against him. His arms wrap around my shoulders, and his hand pats the back of my head. Someone shrieks that isn’t even that kinky, but Jaehyun’s mischievous smile causes even more chatter to erupt on the terrace. His laugh rumbles deep in his chest, and I find an overwhelming sense of comfort with my cheek pressed to his torso. The game continues around the circle with my remaining in Jaehyun’s arms. A devious smile spreads across Johnny and Hyejin’s face—it is their turn to ask a question. Both of their eyes fall on Jaehyun and I, and Johnny laughs loudly as Hyejin whispers in his ear.
”Ok,” he clears his throat, “how do you really feel about each other?”
I nearly choke as I inhale; Jaehyun becoming visibly uncomfortable too. There is a silence that encompasses the balcony as they wait for our responses. Jaehyun mutters as he speaks, “She’s cool, and it’s not a secret I think she’s hot. But there’s more to this than that. I actually care for her.”
The girls on the balcony let out squeals at his confession. I scoff loudly, attempting to cover my pounding heart, “We’re really just coworkers with benefits, I swear. He’s making this deeper than it really is.”
”That’s not what I’ve seen at the office,” Jungwoo quietly interjects, his voice a whisper amongst the rest of the chatter.
The balcony erupts in cheering as I stare in shock at Jungwoo. Jaehyun laughs loudly, turning his face down to me as he exclaims, “Just admit it! You care for me.”
Just as the rules of the game state, I whisper I plead the fifth before placing my hands on Jaehyun’s face to pull him in for a kiss. He reacts immediately, pulling me closer by my hips and moving his lips along with mine. People on the balcony begin hollering as it becomes heated between Jaehyun and me. He breaks away, breathing deeply with a roguish smile across his lips. Jaehyun drags me from the balcony, a laugh falling from my lips as we leave the cheering group behind. We weave through the crowd downstairs and dash towards the elevator. Jaehyun frantically presses the button for his floor, feverishly pressing our lips together once the number 9 glows. He pins my body against the back wall, the railing pressing against the base of my spine, and grasps at my hips.
The lock clicks as he opens the door, and he shoots his roommate a quick text telling him to stay out for at least two more hours. I sit on the edge of his bed, looking around the room as he scrambles across the apartment. I throw my crossbody and jacket—his jacket—on to the foot of the bed, giggling as he curses to himself. I reach deep into the small purse, “Is this what you’re looking for?”
A broad smile lights up when he sees the square wrapper between my fingers, “God, I love you.”
I freeze, an unexplainable feeling filling my stomach. My ears buzz as heat radiates from my flustered face. My hands shake as my voice comes out, clear and concise in the quiet apartment, “What?”
Jaehyun finally realizes the magnitude of what he said, and he appears just as puzzled as me. He is a few feet away from me, staring into my eyes and searching for something to say. He clears his throat, stumbling over his words, “I love you.”
”Jaehyun, I-“
”I mean it,” he states brusquely. “God, I’m an idiot! What else would explain the way I’m feeling?”
He laughs, running fingers through his hair as a wide smile lights up his face. Jaehyun looks to me as he waits for a response. I sit dumbfounded on his bed, frozen as a million thoughts race through my mind. It suddenly hits me like a freight train, “I love you, Jaehyun.”
I roll over in the tiny, twin bed to be greeted by Jaehyun’s rising chest. My fingers ghost along his collarbone, dancing upon his milky skin marked with lavender blossoms. There is a comfortable silence between us, filled by only the heavy breaths of each of us. I whisper quietly, licking my swollen lips, “What does this mean for us?”
He smiles, flashing pristine teeth and crinkling his hooded eyes, “I think it means we’re official.”
”Does it now?” I tease, leaning in for a gentle kiss from his crimson lips. He chuckles quietly and stares into my eyes before leaning in for another kiss, one filled with more passion than before. Suddenly the apartment door swings upon, and Johnny comes stumbling in with Hyejin at his side. Jaehyun’s room is directly across from the front door, and his bedroom door is wide open, revealing our current circumstance. The other couple’s faces light up when they see us, and I hide my face into Jaehyun’s chest as he pulls the duvet farther up my body. Johnny and Hyejin begin cheering, stepping towards Jaehyun’s room. Hyejin exclaims, “You guys look cute!”
I groan in embarrassment, but Jaehyun proclaims unashamedly, “We do make a pretty cute couple, don’t we?”
”What?!” they both shriek at the door. Jaehyun simply nods, confirming their beliefs, before he turns to leave a kiss on my forehead. I mutter from my hidden position, “If you guys could leave now, we have some business to take care of.”
Johnny and Hyejin shut his door and leave without another word. Jaehyun laughs loudly, “Round 2?”
I nod my head with an impish smirk, “Only because I love you.”

Don’t Miss the 10 Best Watercolor Paintings of 2017
This Year’s Best Watercolor Paintings
Every winter, we look forward to putting together this article of the best watercolor paintings of the year. Of course, “best” is subjective, but one way a painting earns that distinction is to stand out in competition.
So with that being said, we turn to art societies — from the West Coast to the East Coast, Florida to Canada — to bring our attention to some of North America’s best watercolor paintings of 2017. Enjoy!
Brightness Burning on the Heart Within
Brightness Burning on the Heart Within by Ali Cavanaugh, watercolor on Aquaboard
Artist Inspirations
My oldest daughter, Neve, was the inspiration for this piece. She’s been my graceful muse for many years. Neve is poised and reserved, and in this composition, I was able to catch her in direct profile. A striking diagonal was created with her downcast head and hand placement.
The two primary elements in my work are bold compositions paired with
a delicate application of paint.
I had hoped to achieve a sense of elegance, beauty, thoughtfulness and intimacy.
—Ali Cavanaugh, Ste. Genevieve, Missouri | Missouri Watercolor Society
Juror’s Response
I wanted to give an award to this particular piece because it exhibits a broad range of techniques, skillful handling and interesting subject matter: the gesture; the angle or position of the body; powerful, stunning color; and a large area of negative space. A painting like this is hard to forget.
–Dongfeng Li, Juror
Carrie Mae
Carrie Mae by Dean Mitchell, watercolor on paper
Artist Inspirations
Carrie Mae has been a friend of my family’s since before I was born. She’s a kind, brilliant human being. She’s 97 now, and was born in Boston. She graduated from A&M as valedictorian in 1941 and received her master’s from Columbia in 1945. She got her Ph.D. from Iowa State University in 1958.
Her mother owned a hotel in the Boston area for 35 years called “The Mother’s Lunch.” It was one of the few — if not the only hotel — where African-Americans could stay. The list of people who stayed there is a “Who’s Who” in American culture — Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Billie Holiday, Sam Davis, Mary McLeod Bethune and many others. She’s talked about her sister doing Ella Fitzgerald’s hair just before she went on stage to perform.
—Dean Mitchell, Tampa, Florida | Florida Watercolor Society
Juror’s Response
Carrie Mae is a masterful example of design, foresight and capability possessed by very few contemporary artists. The muted colors are utilized with a delicacy and deftness of brushstrokes that emphasize the sense of dignified tranquility that clearly indicates the subject is a character of strong positive influence in the artist’s life.
The subject’s pose at the edge of her chair and the slight lean of her head suggest a natural listener, reinforced by her face, with its somber expression, and her clasped hands. If the painting could speak to me, it would say “wisdom.”
One thing that caught my attention was the little bit of red nail polish. Once I saw that bit of red, the muted tones of the seat and wooden furniture began to reveal a repetition of the same color placed throughout the image.
–Iain Stewart, Juror
Glass on Glass on Fabric
Glass on Glass on Fabric, Laurie Goldstein-Warren, watercolor on paper
Artist Inspirations
Painting glass in watercolor makes for a unique set of challenges, beginning with the importance of seeing the various reflections and refraction in the glass and drawing them accurately.
When I composed this painting, I wanted to use the taller glass pieces. After setting up the still life, I realized it needed a horizontal element, so I introduced the fabric with its more organic design.
—Laurie Goldstein-Warren, Buckhannon, West Virginia | Califonia Watercolor Association
Juror’s Response
Glass on Glass on Fabric possesses a fanciful, magical quality. The effects of light on glass are mesmerizing. The sparkling highlights contrast with deep, rich darks. The luminous, complementary color scheme and skillful composition are beautifully orchestrated in this powerful watercolor.
–Donna Zagotta, Juror
Morning in Paris
Morning in Paris by June Webster, watercolor on paper
Artist Inspirations
The view from my hotel balcony in Paris near the Luxembourg Gardens inspired me to paint. The city was so quiet in the morning, and the painted lines on the street created beautifully defined shadows.
I wanted to capture that feeling of calm, as well as the color and value changes created by the shadows.
—June Webster, Cheshire, Connecticut | Transparent Watercolor Society of America
Juror’s Response
By simplifying the image and illuminating the subject, the basic design and divisions of space are balanced and keep the viewer’s eye moving. It’s a well-designed and evocative image that makes one feel a sense of being alone within a city full of people.
–Jean Pederson, Juror
Insomniacs Dreamboats
Insomniacs Dreamboats by Cathy Hegman, acrylic on paper
Artist Inspirations
My paintings are always about my life or some aspect of my life. I work from my imagination, not models or photos.
My inspiration was constant bouts of insomnia. I’ve done a long-running series of paintings called Insomniacs with which I try to convey the feeling of needing to do something but being unable to.
—Cathy Hegman | Holly Bluff, Mississippi | American Watercolor Society
Juror’s Response
Stars represent the night. There are sheep, ships passing and a fantastical hairpiece, which could represent a cloud or the dark night.
The painting possesses good graphic qualities, strong vertical and horizontal movement, contrasts light and dark values, and has good color and competent technique. Plus, it captures and conveys a message beyond surface appearance that we all can relate to.
–Antonio Masi, Juror
Summer’s Reflection
Summer’s Reflection by Sidra Kaluszka, watercolor on paper
Artist Inspirations
Summer’s Reflection depicts a couple of persimmons that I picked in a park while walking with my in-laws, and some purple basil from my mother’s garden. I constantly seek new challenges, like incorporating the mirror behind the fruit. I wanted to capture the interaction between the subjects, the mirror and light.
The viewer doesn’t have a straightforward view of the reflection. I painted the focal point off center, with lines weaving in and out, because it invites the eye to explore.
—Sidra Kaluszka, Radford, Virginia | West Virginia Watercolor Society
Juror’s Response
This painting is so dynamically strong. Design and composition are important to me as an artist, and this piece displays great composition. There’s a wonderful use of contrasts: value, temperature, shapes, and hard and soft edges. Although it’s a realistic painting, it has a nice abstract feel to it.
–Chris Krupinski, Juror
Backstage Adjustments
Backstage Adjustments by Bev Jozwiak, watercolor on paper
Artist Inspirations
My youngest daughter is a professional ballet dancer, and I grew to love the art form. I helped out a lot around her dance studio — everything from designing tutus to making tiaras — and painted four 20- by 40-foot backdrops.
My ballet paintings are always near and dear to my heart. Dancers are extremely close to one another because they spend so much time together, and dance is intimate. I wanted this piece to convey that closeness and willingness to help each other.
—Bev Jozwiak, Vancouver, Washington | Northwest Watercolor Society
Juror’s Response
This work caught my attention with its bold use of colors and brushwork that’s both unique and evocative. I gave the work a high point in design elements and composition.
While Jozwiak employs a variety of traditional techniques and knowledge of art, it’s also evident she’s not afraid to push the envelope of water media, which I admire immensely. As a result, her work looks pleasing from an academic point of view, but also has an edgy, modern appeal.
–Keiko Tanabe, Juror
Family Walk
Family Walk by Antonia Masi, watercolor on paper
Artist Inspirations
I have about 16 colors in my palette, but I tend to select two that will set the mood. I explore value combinations I can create with my two picks, and use the other colors to augment the purity, warmness and coolness of the original two I’ve chosen. This way, I can control the values in my painting.
Normally I find compositions in real life — texture, chain-link fences, graffiti and figures, like the tiny ones silhouetted under the arch in Family Walk, passing from darkness into light. At first, it appeared as a mass of confusion and excitement, so I exaggerated the smallness of the figures into this massive state of confusion and tried to bring order into it. I was thinking of a colorful quilted blanket; it has many patterns, but, at the same time, it’s still one unit.
—Antonio Masi, Garden City, New York | North East Watercolor Society
609 Main
609 Main by Ron Thurston, watercolor on paper
Artist Inspirations
The white staircase in 609 Main is one of my dog’s designated stops on our daily walks. The house nearby also made the cut. I couldn’t resist including it, but the real one is white and situated too far away.
Experimenting with value choices, I decided to make the house blue and black as a support to the black dog. Milton Avery was my color muse. It’s his unusual color combinations that inspire me.
—Ron Thurston, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania | Penn State Watercolor Society
Purely Spectral
Purely Spectral by Brenda Benson, watercolor on paper on matboard
Artist Inspirations
I was preparing paper for another piece using dour color and dark, depressing neutrals in shades of brown and gray. Suddenly I felt the need to cast off that burden and do something bright and joyful. I thumbed through my sketchbooks until I found something that would celebrate the joy that color can bring, and settled on a rough sketch of a quilt. A quilt and an open box of new crayons were my inspiration.
“I cut the paper into rectangles, then scored and folded them into squares. Meanwhile, I painted mat board with acrylics in the design I had worked out in my sketchbook. Taking a folded square of the painted paper, I used scissors or paper punches to cut a random design and then glued it down to its spot on the matboard grid. I chose bright primary and secondary colors for the joy of opening a new box of crayons. Colors transition gently from one to another with analogous hues.”
—Brenda Benson, Monroe City, Missouri | Springfield Art Museum
Juror’s Response
One of the central reasons that the Springfield Art Museum created Watercolor USA was to recognize innovation in the use of watercolor. I love that this painting uses multiple pieces of paper, instead of the standard two dimensions.
–Laurin McCracken, Juror

Brittany and Travis’ wedding and San Ysidro Ranch
Brittany, a California girl, makeup artist and all-around glamazon and her fiance Travis, a country singer/songwriter from Georgia weren’t interested in the standard wedding traditions. They preferred a casual, down-home feel with a touch of glam and elegance and to make it all happen they hired the planning and deign gurus at RO & Co. Events. The team transformed San Ysidro Ranch with color palette of warm neutrals with pops of deep and moody oxblood and rich purple tones and glammed up the dinner space with beautiful antique silver flatware, vintage glassware and sophisticated floral arrangements by Moon Canyon Design. The merging of contrasting styles is totally inspiring and we’re so lucky that Max & Friends Photography was on hand to capture all the details for us.
What made you wedding day unique?
Travis: A rocking bluegrass band, a non-minister minister, and hay bales.
Brittany: We did a love lock only 3 months into dating and it was always a really special thing for us. We used vintage locks for the escort cards. The music was really cool. Travis put together a bluegrass band with world class players / friends. It was really unique and fit our vibe as a couple perfectly. Also, we had a cow. A plastic life sized cow. My family is in dairy and I grew up on a dairy farm so it felt like a really fun / quirky cool thing to have rather than a typical photo booth backdrop.
Tell us about the gown and where/how you found it!
I tried on probably 25 dresses on several different occasions and had no idea what I really wanted. All of the ladies in my family were coming to L.A. to do a big dress shopping trip and I was starting to get worried that I was never going to have my magic dress moment. The day before everyone arrived I decided to pop into Les Habitudes just to have a quick peek with my mom. I saw a stunning white gown on a mannequin that they happened to have in a blush tone! It had all of the elements that I liked – beading, illusion neckline, not strapless, magic!! The next day I pretended to try on dresses at one or two appointments before I spilled the beans that my wedding dress and already been found! It was made by a Spanish designer, YolanCris.
What were some touches added to make the wedding personal?
The couple’s special song title “Maybe It Will”  (a song that Travis wrote for Brittany)  made an appearance a few times, first on the beanbag game for the guests at cocktail hour and later at dinner where we stamped muslin bags that carried a thumb drive with a digital book of the couple’s favorite recipes and a collection of Travis’s songs. He assembled a group of his talented musician friends to form a bluegrass band to play throughout the evening of celebration. To add a personal touch, Brittany’s talented sister hand calligraphed some of the event day signage and the beautiful name tags that we added to the wedding party’s bouquets and boutonnieres.
What was the most memorable part of the day?
Travis: My favorite memory was dancing with my mother. It was the first time I’d ever seen her dance. Better late than never I guess. Also EVERYTHING else.
Brittany: There’s too many to choose one. Stealing away for 15 minutes of alone time before the ceremony was definitely one of the best moments. We could really sit down and soak up the excitement of the day before it started rolling.
Tell us how you met and became engaged.
Travis: It was a dark night. A dark and hopeful night. A friend and I wandered into a downtown Nashville bar after a long day’s work. My friend noticed a table of beautiful girls celebrating a birthday. He desperately wanted to “Hello Ladies” them.  So I wing-manned. I was so good at being nice to Brittany’s other friend (rule #1 in hello ladiesing) that Brittany almost immediately gave her number…to him.
Nine months later I got a friend request from what I was certain was a questionable website. People that beautiful don’t just naturally occur in the wild. Turns out it was in fact Brittany. I messaged her and she assured me that we had met in real life. So…confirm! Two months after that, I worked up the nerve to go back to Nashville and ask her to coffee. From that day to this, my heart has not been my own.
Brittany: We got engaged a little over 2 1/2 years of dating. Travis took me on a quick getaway to Big Sur with the idea of proposing at sunset with a beautiful view of the ocean. It ended up raining nearly the whole trip which killed that plan! We went out for a quick hike when the rain stopped. He started taking a selfie video and saying all of these really sweet things then pulled out the ring. I was stunned and of course said yes! I’m so happy that he recorded the proposal to have that memory and to share it with our friends and family. We got married on the fourth anniversary of the day we met.

Classic and timeless. These seem like two opposite concepts. How do you create a home that is both? A home that is current and modern, while being able to withstand the test of an ever changing world of fashion? Impossible, some claim. But is it really? Oksana Dolgopiatova, a designer based in Kiev, took it upon herself to meet this challenge. Apartment ‘Alise’ is her answer, and isn’t her answer just brilliant? The apartment makes masterful use of different design elements to create a sophisticated home that resonates with fashionable and stylish homeowners. Take a look for yourself, and decide if this apartment is both classic and timeless.
We start our tour in the open-plan living area. Here, we find a variety of colors and patterns blended to create a sophisticated living space that is lively and engaging.
The walls are mostly white, allowing for a wide mix of design aspects to warm up the area. Deviating from the usual T.V area, an overhead projector turns the living room into an impromptu cinema for entertaining guests or the best movie day ever.
Throw pillows that move up from the grey of the couch to the colorful patterns of the gorgeous rug, are an excellent idea that adds to the stylish comfort of the living room.
A panelled glass sliding door encased in a black frame separates the kitchen from the main living area, this adds a slight industrial element that is very stylish, the raw aspect preventing the room from looking plain and boring.
The soft brown of the curtains matches with the timber floor boards and green pot plants, softening the entire space and giving it a homely feel.
The blue vase holding the plant is a subtle way to add color to what would otherwise be an achromatic corner in a colorful room.
Modern dining pendant lights made out of patterned glass hang from the ceiling, lighting up a crucial part of the room and add a luxurious feel to the space. Two blue chairs add to the color brought by the vase. Black grating continues the subtle industrial undercurrent and wooden window frames warm up the clean glass.
A frosted glass window with a black frame is a unique design aspect, the frosted glass hiding the bathroom, the light fixtures turning the window into an industrial element.
Simplicity is timeless. The study is a cheerfully professional space. The crown moulding and edges of the wall are a clinical white with an engaging shade of blue painted in the middle. A woven wall covering completes the look, achieving a stylish accent piece with ease.
Once again, warm shades of wood neutralize the brightness of the wall colors and tone down the clinicity of the white. The overall effect is a cheery room that doesn’t hurt the eyes.
Bookshelves are a necessity in a study, but they don’t have to be boring. The designer removed the backs of these bookshelves to merge them to the wall, adding a subtle pop and livening them up.
The desk itself has been left mostly untouched except for the classy desk lamp, which allows the homeowner to work in an uncluttered space. The leather chair looks incredibly comfortable and ensures that the homeowner has a proper place to work.
The kitchen is a state-of-the-art marvel. Industrial light fixtures hang over a tropical kitchen island while dark blue walls tie together all the elements to mirror the apartment’s theme.
A tiled accent wall breaks up the blue walls and prevents the color scheme from becoming overwhelming. The two pendants lights match beautifully with the kitchen counter stools.
A detailed gothic light fixture adds a level of sophistication in a subtle and understated way.
A designer thatched chair with a comfortable pillow is nestled into a light and airy corner, it makes for an attractive aspect to the room and a cosy place to relax with a warm beverage.
The entrance to a house is important. It’s the first impression you get from the house. It needs to be impressive and functional. From the bright color paired with clean white lines, wooden elements and inconspicuous black fittings, this entrance hall is a perfect reflection of the apartment that it leads into.
Warm wooden elements are the ideal way to add a little tropical homeliness to a space, this room is no exception. Bamboo blinds connects the door to the wooden floor panels without obstructing too much natural light.
Usually nooks and corners can be a pain. But if you have the right accessories, they can become an essential feature in the overall space. A table, or in this case- a chest of drawers, is your best bet. Adorn the main piece with eclectic ornaments that reflect the homeowner’s personality and round it off with a mirror. The possibilities are endless, but the result is the same: perfection.
This seating area in the main bedroom looks over the cityscape and is an ideal place to relax with your significant other, and just have a nice chat. It’s also a light contrast to the rest of the dark features in the room.
Showcasing the concept of simple aspect walls, the designer had the wall by the bed painted black and adorned with a modern art piece, and the effect is flawless and engaging. Adjustable light fixtures give the traditional bedside lighting an industrial spin, and can be arranged to create the beautiful light arc as showcased above.
An assortment of comfy throw pillows work with the art piece to liven up the room, keeping the black wall from becoming overpowering.
These designer bedside tables merge two design concepts together. The wooden piece warming up the dark surroundings, but the black paint at the bottom joins it to the accent wall.
The designer gothic chandelier joins the airy seating area to the sophisticated room, so that the space isn’t disjointed and separate.
The master bedroom is a perfect blend of light and dark, industrial and sophistication.
Apartment ‘Alise’ is a beautiful blend of light and dark, warm and cold. The main bathroom is no exception.
The dark top half contrasts delightfully with the cheery bottom half, with both sides merging aspects of the other side. For example, the colorful art piece brightens up the black wall behind it, while the black drawers of the table brings sophistication to it’s cheerful surroundings.
The bathroom is spacious, and makes use of the space by providing his-and-hers amenities, a truly luxurious aspect. The luxury is continued in the shower with the contemporary shower fixtures. The minimalist matte-white faucet completes the look. The bathroom is the one place in the house where you can never have too many luxuries.
A collection of candles by the frosted window is a stylish element, that allows for adjustment in the ambience, from stark and bright to relaxing and romantic.
The guest bathroom makes use of a monochromatic color palette that is interrupted by the bright stand alone amenity.
The apartment is spacious and boasts an open plan living, dining and kitchen space. Two bedrooms, bathrooms and study. The master bedroom even has a changing area. Each room has been tailored to perfection and is a wonderful mix of style and sophistication.
