"Are you mad at me?"
"No." You tried your best to make your tone as cold as possible, but that was proving to be impossibly difficult when looking into the puppy dog eyes of the boy in front of you.
"Liar" Pavitr cocked his head to the side slightly, giving you a lopsided grin, his arms folded over his chest. He looked like he was on the verge of laughter, but he always looked like that, being the little ray of sunshine he was. You'd never see him with a frown on his face, which made your RBF even more noticeable when the two of you were together. "Why are you mad?"
"I'm not mad!" You replied, putting your hand up to his face and looking to the side. You bit the inside of your cheek to keep yourself from laughing at his expression. He looked like a sad puppy. It was hard not to turn off your cold demeanor when you saw him like that, but then of course you had your reasons to be mad at him.
"Aww, don't be like that meri jaan" he teased, stepping out of the way of your hand and grinning that shit-eating grin. Nothing could ever falter his can-do attitude, not even your blatant refusal to tell him what was wrong.
"Arre, don't call me that!" You said, looking back at him with a scowl, putting your hands on your hips. You looked down for a second, hesitant to tell him your reasons. You didn't want to get mad at him, but that was proving difficult. "Fine! I am mad." You said angrily.
"Okay...why are you mad?"
"Why do you think I'm mad??"
He shrugged, putting his hands in his pockets and smiling that golden-boy smile at you again. Infuriating. You scoffed, feeling your muscles tightening and your face heating up as you tried to keep yourself from blowing up at him.
"mein aap ko sambhaal nahi sakta (I can't handle you)"
"Just tell me why you're mad!" he said, his voice slightly whiny as he looked at you, his hands on his hips. "What'd I do?"
You groaned, smacking your forehead and glaring at him from behind your palm. "How can you not know?"
He smiled again, watching you, his eyes crinkling slightly. He's not even sorry. You thought to yourself, getting more and more annoyed by the second. "Just tell me what I did" He said, his tone a little softer this time.
You stumbled over your words for a moment, unable to get them out properly. A groan escaped your lips before you threw your hands up and started spewing the first sentences that came to your mind.
"aap hamesha masroof rehtay hain! (You're always busy!)"
"uh-huh"
"tum ab kabhi mere sath waqt nahi guzartay! (You never spend time with me anymore!)"
"yeah bu-"
"aap hamesha spiderman honay mein masroof rehtay hain! (You're always busy being Spider-man!)"
"I have t-"
"ham ek taveel arase se ek saath baahar nahin gae hain! (We havent' gone out together in a long time!)"
"but-"
"mat kaho lekin! (Don't say but!)" You cut him off, pointing your finger up at him, your voice slightly raised. He put his hands up in front of him defensively, his eyebrows raising slightly at the action. But he still had that stupid grin on his face, somehow enjoying watching you get angry.
"jb aap gausse men hote hain to aap sundr dikhte hain (You look pretty when you're angry)" He said, waggling his eyebrows at you. You scoffed, folding your arms over your chest again, but you couldn't help but smile slightly at this confession.
"Come on meri jaan...I'm sorry." You bit the inside of your cheek once again, looking up at him with a glare. You blinked, then sighed and chuckled, a soft exhale leaving your lips. His expression lit up as he watched you, giant smile returning. "...Does this mean you forgive me?" He asked excitedly, leaning in toward you slightly.
"Arre, back up." You said with an eye roll, leaning backwards, standing on the heels of your feet. "But I forgive you." You muttered, unable to suppress your slight smile. He gave you a wink and flashed that same golden smile.
"I knew you would"

Btw, I wrote reader's lines in Urdu and Pav's lines in Hindi, and since the languages are pretty similar I assumed they'd be able to understand each other. I also thought it would be more accurate for a Pakistani reader to speak Urdu while Pavitr canonically knows Hindi. So if you see any grammatical differences between their lines, thats why <3

"Baby this house is so quiet when you're away, could we maybe get a pet- not anything too big but maybe like a cat?" you beg your boyfriend. This had been the 3rd time this week having this conversation and you could tell Kristoffer was getting annoyed.
"____ how many times do i have to tell you, we just don't have enough time to look after one- having a pet is a big responsibility and i just dont think we're ready okay" he groans tilting his head to make eye contact with you. His eyebrows scrunched together in an unfamiliar way, this has been the first disagreement in your guys relationship, but neither of you were gonna give up.
"Oh, please Kris, I'm home all the time with work and everything and I only have to go in once a week- just" you scoff trying to find words to use other than frustrated groans and mumbles.
After a few awkward minutes of silence Manzini speaks up "Cats are expensive you know that right from food, toys and other things" "Yeah ofcourse i know that, i've counted everything up and i've already got the money put aside i was just planning on asking you then going to get her" you mumble head down.
"Her,? you already have one in mind?" he looks up, giving you his full attention now. "Well yeah, like i kinda said before i was betting on that you would agree" you look up your frustration growing by the minute.
More minutes pass and you turn the door and walk out the shared room you have, grabbing your phone from the bedside table and you go down stairs and flop onto the couch. The mood of the evening being the complete opposite of what you were planning.
Flipping through the photos on your phone of the kitten litter you were supposed to be picking from and then bringing home the one you wanted instead you get a text from the person planning on selling it to you asking if you were still keen on looking. Opening up the app and typing up the first couple words of the sentence you didn't want to send you hear your boyfriend speak from the hallway.
"Thought you wanted a cat?" he questions, looking at your slumped behaviour on the couch "Yeah but you don't seem to think it would be good fit for the house so no we're not getting a cat" you scoff rolling your eyes thinking about how stupid it was of him to say that.
Arms wrap around your waist and pull you off of the couch. "KRISTOFFER BOLVIG HYLDGAARD YOU PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT" you yell having up to here with him. "Nah, we're going to get a cat baby," he teases, opening the door and walking you to the car in a bridal carry.
"What?'' Your anger diminishes and confusion takes over as Kristoffer buckles you into the car and turns the engine on, pulling out of the driveway and onto the road.
"Wait so this is for real-like were actually getting a kitten" you ask, still sceptical about the whole ordeal but keen nonetheless. "Yes baby, can you google maps the location of where the cat is? I'm not too familiar with these roads yet" Kristoffer jokes, one hand on the steering wheel other on your leg.
"OMG, we're actually getting a kitten! ahhhhh!" you scream in excitement quickly whipping out your phone and google mapping it. Kristoffer and you giggle excitedly about adding a new member to your family, you talk about family photos and what Christmas gift you are going to get her.
As your car pulls up the driveway you're met with a sweet old lady and a small little girl beside her holding a cat crate and some other goodies. The little girl sees your car pull up and tugs on her grandmas dress.
Stepping out the car gave you a new rush of excitement as this was happening right now, the little girl looking at you with a hint of nervousness before stepping over and introducing herself.
"Uhm, im Lizzie uhm- do you want a kitten" she asks lifting her head up slightly, "Oh Lizzie come here love- you too as well come along" The the lady says waking over to the box in the garage where you assume that the kittens are in there.
Lizzie grabs Kristoffres hand and pulls you toward the garage, her initial shyness gone and is now hopping around excitedly while Kristoffer and you look at the kittens they have.
"So i've named them all but you don't have to keep the names- so that one that's Sunny, this little black and white one is Storm, and that full white one is Crystal" Lizzie rambles on about the names of each one but the one that stood out the most to you the most was the kitten you fell in love with when you was the advertisement it was the kitten with dark grey spots that looks like a cheetah pattern and was rolling around the box.
"How about this one?" You say pointing at the small kitten, seeing how she looked back at you. Her big doe eyes contrast heavily with the sharp pupils that blew out and were big full moons now.
"Is this the one you saw online? '' he giggles, reaching over to pat her but she ends up biting his hand with her little sharp teeth. Lizzie continued on talking before noticing you were looking at one in particular.
"Oh that one is so cute, i named her Cutie because well she is cute, would you like to take her home with you?" she asks, waiting for your guy's response then skipping off when you both nodded at her with smiles on your faces.
You reach over and slowly lift Cutie out the box as she paws at you trying to get you to let her go but it comes to no avail as she locks eyes with you before and deep purr rumbles through her chest, licking your hand softly with her rough tongue.
Kristoffer gets up and pays for the kitten, talking to Lizzie and she tells him the likes and dislikes of cutie, how she only likes warm milk and loves cuddles and how she sits in the sun and lays there forever. She hands Krisoffer the kitten crate and the goodies as well before kissing Cuties head goodbye with a soft but enthusiastic hug.
As Kristoffer and Cutie hop in the car and buckle up, you hold onto her tightly as Kristoffer backs the car up. Lizzie watches you from the garage waving wildly with a big smile etched onto her face. Sticking your arm out the window, you wave back at her with a small smile on your face.
"So what made you agree to this?" You are still unsure about why Kristoffer was okay with this when not even an hour ago he was arguing against it. "I think having you around more is much more important than me holding my ground, plus now you won't be so lonely" he laughs and you giggle playing with Cutie the whole way home.

A/N: this is so interesting. i havent written anything for hob at all yet so i was so excited when i saw this! also i know you said her name is hope but everyone in the family has a letter D in their name and i literally translated hope in every language available in google translate, hoping at least one of them would start with D and one of them did but i didnt like the way it sounded so i decided to rename her dawn, cos i mean dawn is the early morning and that gives hope so i hope you dont mind. i dont mention anyone else's but Hob's name though, since technically it's in his pov and he has no idea what Dream's name is either, much less Dawn lol

Hob had been taking his daily stroll that day, he remembers it vividly. He was walking by the fields near his estate, basking in the morning sun, breathing in the cool air.
There was a warmth, a light that drew nearer. It was slow to come and quick to leave, but in the moment, he thought nothing of it; he only thought it was the rays of the earliness greeting him.
He realized it was not that when he outstretched his hand to pluck out a Pasqueflower. Hob's fingers bumped into another's; his heart leapt to his throat in shock.
His head snaps to the side. He retreats his hand slower than hers.
"Apologies," she mutters, light and melodic, "I did not think you'd chose that flower."
Hob's jaw slacks, and yet he does not hesitate. He rips the flower from its stem, handing it over. There is a flurry within him when she accepts it with a smile. The very wind in his lungs is knocked out when she says, "thank you, Hob."
The next moment, she walks away. Hob only regained his wits by the time he wholly regret the fact he was so dumbfounded he didn't even get to speak one single word.
And yet, days after, it seemed fate wanted to bring them together again. He was determined not to let the moment slip away this time around.
He practically lunged from his seat when he saw the lady in the yellow dress from across the pub. He ran, twisting past the patrons of the place. He stops a few paces away from her, straightening his garb, clearing his throat. He then strides over, catching her attentions in observing the room, "hello."
Hob's breath hitches when she turns to him and smiles, more radiant than before, "hello!"
He sighs, raising his hands, "I-," he clasps them together, "I'm Robert," he wipes his palms on his top, then extends one hand, "Hob, for short."
Her eyes crinkle as her grin widens. She takes his calloused, clammy hand in both her soft and warm ones, shaking it softly, "greetings, Hob!"
When she pulls away, she turns her head to the side and bares her braided hair. Hob's breath hitches the second time when he beholds the violet flower in it. She chuckles softly, "I kept it with me."
He lets out an airy chuckle, "I- it has been nearly a week. I'm astonished it's still alive."
She presses her lips into a pout, "I did not let my sister touch it."
Hob knit his brows tightly, confused by the sentiment, though his lips were still curved up into a smile.
He throws his thumb over his shoulder, "would you like to sit with me for a while? I have a table there. I'm waiting for someone."
"I know."
In that very moment, she looks past Hob and points behind him. Hob turns around, catching sight of his set table, finding it was now occupied, occupied by the very man he was waiting for.
Hob tilts his head, pressing his lips together, yet, still, they rememain curved upward.
"W-"
"Come," she calls, cutting Hob off. She takes his arm in hers, making his heart thump wildly in his chest, "let us not keep him waiting."
Hob feels his breath quicken as he allows himself to be lead back to his table. She urges him to sit in a vacant chair. Hob does just that and watches as she circles back around the man across him.
He was clad in black, much like the previous times they met. The woman sits on the other available chair adjacent to both of them.
Hob looks between them. They both look back at Hob, her, smiling excitedly, him, scrutinizing with far less enthusiasm.
They looked like a living oxymoron, with her, robed in vibrant colors, and him, draped in nothing but black. Hob opened his mouth slowly, unsure of what to say. He thinks of saying something funny, something witty, anything that will break the ice, but his tongue is pressed down with the weight of their stares.
The brightly clothed woman turns to darkly clothed man and leans in, whispering something under her breath. He turns to her, extending a hand out to the table, mumbling something quickly before turning back to Hob.
He is at least grateful he did not have to speak first.
"Life has been treating you well, it seems," the dark haired man utters.
Hob straightens up, sucking in a breath as he smiles, "I have had a great many successful endeavors."
She perks at the sound of that, propping her head in her hands and her elbows on the table, "such as?"
Hob turns to her, gulping, finger digging into the collar that tightens around his neck, "such as..."
She raises her brows along with the corner of her lips.
Hob clears his throat, straightening up again, "such as trading!"
"Trading?" the blue eyed man speaks, tilting his head.
"Yes," Hob replies rather weakly.
"He must be very good at it," she chimes, turning to the other, "look at how tasteful his attire is!"
Hob fights back a smile.
"Life is more than the clothes on one's back, sister."
"Sister?" Hob calls, shocked by the revelation. He is all but ignored though.
"And yet small details as such help make life worth living."
Hob tries again, leaning on the the table, "you're siblings?"
The siblings turn to him at the same time, she smiles and he looks blankly. The former speaks, "of course we are. Is it not obvious?" The latter of the two narrows his eyes.
Hob's jaw slacks. He wonders if she is mocking him for a moment, but in any case, between the two, she doesn't look like the one who would be a mocker.
"I..." Hob trails off, "did not think at all of your relation to another."
"Perhaps you would care to think more," he states, "your life surely would benefit from it."
There, Hob thinks, surely that is the sound of mockery.
For a moment, a there was only the sound of the pub between them.
"Oh," the woman pulls back, grabbing her brother's arm, "look," she turns her face to him, "Hob gave me this."
Her brother's face contorts, brow raising inquisitively. He turns to Hob, silently interrogating him.
Hob leans back on his chair and licks his lips, "we met in a field by fate-"
"Fate?" his deep voice repeats. He sounded not all pleased. "What would you know about fate?"
His sister calls out to him under his breath. The pale man's tightened features relax a bit as he sighs, almost as though he was defeated.
"It was a happy encounter," she says, "was it not?" she turns to Hob.
Hob stills for a moment, then nods.
The man turns to his sister, reaching out for the flower in her hair, plucking it out from its place. Hob's lips part as he thinks of how her brother would surely crush the innocent bud in his palm.
She does nothing but watch as her brother examines the Pasqueflower in his palm. He asks, "what were you doing out in the fields anyway?"
Hob watches the siblings scrutinize the little flower.
When they turn to him, Hob's eyes widen and his body stiffens.
The woman's lips curve into a lopsided smile. She chuckles under her breath, "he was asking you, silly."
"Oh," Hob says, "well, I, well- I was taking my daily walk."
"Hmm," he hums, placing the flower back into his sister's hair where he took it.
She smiles at her brother, "special, isn't it?"
He turns to Hob when he replies, "yes. Special indeed."
Hob's sucks in a sharp breath. He inadvertently begins to choke.
The woman giggles under her breath, proceeding to pour Hob a glass of water.
Hob accepts it and watches the siblings turn to each other and mutter under their breath as he drinks. Dear goodness, what in the name of lord are they talking about? He would honestly give half- no- 3/4th of his possessions if it mean he could make sense of the two before him.
His soul nearly leaves him when they stand. The man looks down on Hob as he nods, "it has been a pleasure to meet you again."
"N-" he fumbles, standing up all the same, "no, you can't just leave."
Hob's shoulder burns and his chest tightens when the woman places her hand there. She offers him a playful look, "we never truly leave you, Hob."
What does that mean?!
The man offers his hand out to his sister, and she readily takes it.
When they begin to walk off, Hob does not make the mistake he did in the field and pipes up, "will you be back with him next time?"
They both turn to him, him, furrowing his brows, her, smiling yet again. The latter speaks, "we'll see."
Hob watches them walk away.

“Gerry?” Tim was sitting opposite Gerry on their couch, scrolling through something on his laptop as Gerry drew on his tablet.
He looked up from his drawing. “Yeah?”
“What is your opinion,” Tim turned the laptop to face him, revealing an image of a snake eyes tongue piercing diagram from Google Images. “On this?”
Gerry looked up from the laptop to him. “Uhm, it’s a piercing?”
Tim rolled his eyes, adorably. “No, dumbass. What do you think about me getting a tongue piercing like that?”
Gerry stared at hi, dumbfounded. "O-oh. Uhm." He didn't quite know how to answer, as his only thoughts his brain was giving him were 'pretty' and 'hot' which were, to say the least, unhelpful suggestions.
He settled for "Nice."
After a moment, Gerry decided to interrupt the tense silence. "This- this came a bit out of nowhere, didn't it?" He tried to give Tim his classic half-flirtatious smirk, only mostly managing to do so.
Tim looked over at him. "Well, i told you about it already." When Gerry's only response was a confused look and a tilted head, he continued. "Yesterday. Remember? I was looking at your piercings and said i wanted one."
"Oh." Gerry found remembering that specific conversation to be very consequential to the bloodflow in his face. (How close Tim was to him, the warth of his breath near his face-) "I didn't think you were serious."
"Well, I was."
Tim turned back to his laptop, and Gerry turned back to his tablet. They both sat in silence, the strange tension in the air nearly suffocating the both of them.
Suddenly, Tim closed his laptop and leaned over to look at Gerry's tablet. "Whatcha drawin?"
Gerry quickly turned the screen off. "Nothing." He was sure his face was ridiculously red.
"Ahwww, c'mon, Ger! Show your work to the class!" He was such an ass (and he loved him for it).
Gerry smiled wealy, blushing face growing redder by the moment. "Er- uhm, f-fine."
He opened his tablet to show the drawing of Tim he'd been working on for nearly a month. It was, in his opinion, one of the best drawings he'd ever done (and that may or may not be because he's in love with the subect).
"Woah.." he heard Tim whisper softly. "That's-" He cleared his throat and leaned back onto the couch, speaking more clearly. "That's great, Gerry! I can't believe how talented you are."
Gerry looked at him, stunned.
"...What?" Tim replied to Gerry's silence.
Gerry cracked a smile. "Nothing, really. I- I'd just expected you to make a stupid joke."
Tim grinned back, wide and stupid (his common scheming smile). "There's still time for that."
...
"Oh, hey Gerry! Back for another?" The woman at the front desk of the tattoo parlor recognized Gerry instantly, him being one of their regulars (as much as a tattoo shop can *have* regulars).
"Nah, Carol, not today. I'm actually here for Tim!" He gestured to the man next to him, who seemed fascinated with the strange decor more than anything else.
"Oh!" Carol looked pleasently surprised at the news. "Well, Tim, what are you planning on doing today?"
Tim looked at the woman for a moment before saying, "A- a snake bite piercing, i think it was called." He looked over at Gerry for confirmation, who nodded in response.
"Perfect! Right this way!" She ushered Tim to the back, who gave Gerry one slightly nervous thumbs-up before following her.
...
Tim walked over to Gerry after a bit, fidgeting with his tounge, feeling the sides of his mouth experimentally.
"Let me see," Gerry said to him when he got close enough.
Tim showed him his tounge, a bit red and swollen, with two fresh new silver piercings. Gerry lifted Tim's chin a bit to see it better, which made Tim's face glow like his blood was radioactive.
Gerry grinned slyly at that.
For some reason, deciding in that moment to make whatever was going on with Tim worse, Gerry said, "Damn, now you have to wait a whole month before you can kiss me."
Tim looked about as red as was humanly possible. He cleared his throat into his fist, promptly deciding the floor looked extremely interesting and refusing to keep his eyes off it.
Gerry, on the other hand, grinned at this masterpiece of a man blushing at his stupid flirt. Suddenly feeling a burst of confidence he'd basically never before felt, he kissed Tim (lightly, of course, as to not disturb the piercing).
Tim melted internally. Externally, however, he kissed back.

Wow calm down buddy, I am still very new to pokemon XD
I think I mentioned, but Decidueye is my fave for no other reason other than he was my first pokemon in Unite and I loved his design, he's my baby
Idk much about regions and stuff like that though, the little I know of it would have to be Alola for fashion alone, I'm more of the type to use loose clothes for warm weather because I'm Brazilian and where I grew up in is a fucking desert lmao so it reminds me a little of home
For characters...sorry I don't have any :( again, I'm new still
I wasn't allowed to indulge in pokemon, I've only watched a handful of episodes that would, by chance, air during the time I stayed at my grandma on Saturdays where I had no restrictions on the TV
I dont remember anyone's name besides Ash's lol, so even if I did have a fave, I wouldn't be able to tell the names. Tho I think I did like that one girl, I think she was a princess? Sorta? She has a Dino looking pokemon too and had big, purple hair. I also likes the red haired girl, she was funny.
I do have other fave pokemons tho, Snivy was the first pokemon I became obsessed with, when I saw their design I was in LOVE. I remember googling up images of them to trace or try to redraw, and I drew it so many times so that when I went to school I could draw it by memory. One of the boys, who was sorta ostracised cuz of his disability, saw me drawing in the corner of the classroom during recess. I tried to keep this interest hidden cuz my mom didn't allow it and would get mad in me indulging on it, so I panicked when he asked what I was drawing and I tried to hide it, but he was really cool about it and was also really kind, with how aggressive he could be, I never connected with someone more than I did then. Another one was from this other boy, I started to be more open about my interest of pokemon but still hid it from my mom, idk how we started talking but eventually said boy gave me one of his pokemon cards. It was jiggly Puff. He said that since girls usually liked cute, pink stuff, that I would like this one (and he was absolutely right cuz altho I was treated as a tomboy during that time, I love pink, cute stuff and the girliest of girls stuff, hell, I still tend to go for pokemon by apperance XD).
I cherished it so much until my mom found it, she told me to give it back to the boy and I begrudgingly did so but he insisted I kept it cuz "if I liked it, I should keep it, just hide it from your mom"
She found it again but this time I tried to convince her to keep it bu saying one of its ability is to sing you to sleep, after that, whenever we stayed up late, she'd tell us she'd pull out the "pink ball" to make us go to bed XD
During our haste to move countries, a lot of my stuff got thrown into a shed and I havent found that card since :( I'm a little sad I didn't take it with me now in hindsight, but yeah, I hope I'll find it again one day but there is little chances of that happening considering the mess I was greeted to when I went back to collect some stuff after years

I Despise Star Trek AOS
let me preface this by saying that its completely valid to like this series and that i respect the people who do, i respect those who love the characters, who love the cast, who love the pairings, these are just the critiques i have for it and that most of them are fuelled by loyalty to the original series, so if you havent seen that it makes perfect sense to enjoy the new series, its shiny and full of hot people who wouldnt
I WILL elaborate
#1 - little to no body positivity, everyone turns into a slimmer or more toned version of themselves, they dont embrace being stockier, shorter or chubbier at ALL
nichelle nichols is a beautiful woman, but she also isnt the "perfect standard for female beauty", she's shorter, she has thicker thighs and some curves, whereas zoe saldana, also beautiful, is pretty much the EXACT female body standard, shes tall and quite slender, and so it feels like something of a step back for good body representation
now i know that thisll get hate, so ill show that its really not just uhura's casting that demonstrates this

#2 - Uhura as a whole, i feel like they fucked up BIG TIME on her character, she goes from a super badass "99% of the crews efficiency" independent woman to spocks pining girlfriend, and thats basically her whole character (she has her moments, but most of them revolve around spock in some way) even a google search brings up a lot of spock/uhura stuff, shes just overall a pretty weak character without him which is a DRASTIC change from barely interacting with him
#3 - Casting Khan

#4 - chekov, they didnt even TRY to make them the same character, they just went "ehh theyre both russian, same thing" the resemblance stops there, in the original series, chekov is pretty grouchy and sarcastic, "oh ill live, but i wont enjoy it", whereas aos chekov, who is admittedly Baby, isnt even a little bit like his predecessor, hes bubbly, energetic, eager to help out and caring
#5 - spock, in the original series, spock is the voice of reason, hes calm, rational except for the occasional outburst of still relatively calm emotions, such as during pon farr, in aos, he just snaps into an angry and violent mess very quickly, going so far as to injure someone (which i highly doubt the original spock would do unless said person posed a real threat to the enterprise and it's crew, and when he does encounter a menace, he usually nerve pinches them, a faily painless way to knock someone unconscious, he doesnt just start strangling people) also i do know that jim was being a huge asshole, but he was still way out of line for his character
#6 - kirk, look at how theyve massacred my boy, my sweet jim was a tender and sensitive man in the original series, he was full of love and he was a nerd, he spent his academy years reading (and maybe horseback riding), hes super empathetic, caring, and the polar opposite of self-centered, whereas aos kirk is just a sleazy guy who seems mostly interested in sex and will just borderline harass people in bars (or full harass), which is pretty egregious compared to my hopeless romantic TOS kirk, whom i love, hes kind of a jerk, he insults spock's grieving process about his deceased mother right after his entire planet has been destroyed!! which is an insane thing for him to do!!! and super unbecoming of the original, compassionate kirk, who insulted spock like once in total. overall bad characterization
#7 - what in the fucking hell is this
now you might be saying "but mac, its cause they didnt have the tech back then to make it shiny and futuristic" which, hey, is true, but at least it looks fucking livable, it looks cosy and habitable for a supposed "5 year mission", could you live in the veritable "kardashian-west mansion" hell that is the aos entreprise? its so reflective, its too artificial. calm your tits jj, we get it, its the future. if they had blended the feel of the original and the clean cuttedness of the new series, maybe kept just some of the original palette, it couldve had a really cool look to in in my opinion
#8 - the bond between jim and spock, shipping aside, the mental gymnastics of saying that they have a weak bond is fucking insane. brothers, lovers, besties, soulmates whatever the fuck you wanna call em, theres a strong connection and 100% a love of some kind. that didnt translate like at all into the movies, they were friends, yes, but like they seemed like the kind of friends who text like once every 2 weeks, there wasnt the same closeness and trust that they have in the original series. there is that scene in (i believe it was) the third movie when jim is stuck behind the glass and slowly dying, ans spock just screams his heart out. while thats a poignant scene, it seems... a bit fake... since they did very little over the course of the three movies to build an actual valid bond since they were so focused on erasing even the notion that they were more than friends, they barely let them be friends at all.

Busting the Heat Pump Myth Busters
Everyone and their dog wants us to switch to heat pumps. So I did a little google research on it. Bc Hydro has a site listing the benefits of heat pumps Heat pumps (bchydro.com). Generally everything they say is legit. City of Vancouver has a site giving recommendations on how to upgrade to heat pumps Heat pumps | City of Vancouver. Generally the city stuff smells like a giant load of bull shit.
I have three real world scenarios for heating: a small apartment building that is 75 years old, a 400 sqft park model trailer that is 30 years old, and a small house that is 85 years old.
here is what I have found out so far about heat pumps.
from my dad (who did hvac installs and maintenance for 55 years): heat pumps are a great idea, but he never used them in his homes.
new models of heat pumps will function down to -30C (not optimally but they will work); the specs and real world comments indicate they work just fine down to -20C without any issues.
pricing is reasonable: a 12,000 BTU ducted mini-split is $1,200 CDN; this is suitable for -30C and 400 sqft; can replace an existing propane furnace at essentially the same cost.
below -30C the heat pumps may not function as the units will probably freeze up. Below -30C you absolutely need a backup system
heat pumps require electricity. this can be in short supply when it gets cold out. Texas grid froze up a few years back and collapsed. This week the Alberta grid almost collapsed during the -55C weather (as my mom said, she is not going outside in that). Heat pumps only work if the grid is functioning; grids that rely on "green" sources such as wind and solar dont function very well in Alberta during the winter; so you might want "ahem" a standby diesel generator to run those heat pumps when it gets cold out.
The city of Vancouver recommends that apartment buildings replace hot water heating with a mini-split per unit. This article highlights the stupidity of that recommendation $1.2M heat pump bill shows gap in B.C. climate plan - Vancouver Is Awesome. It literally would cost more to install heat pumps in my condo than the condo is worth.
Doing further research (ignoring the idiots at CoV) turned up no suitable heat pumps for apartments with hot water heating (which is about 90% of all apartment buildings in Vancouver). There are in-ground heat exchangers for buildings; lots of press on those going into new buildings. The additional cost of these units is about 2% of the total building. So if you have a $500M building, then the heat exchanger will add about $10M... on a new building not a big deal. To retrofit a small apartment? my guess is it will cost more than installing mini-spits. I dont know what the cost is, because I haven't found anything published by someone who has done this in Vancouver.
apparently, heat pumps have a couple of "additional" benefits that are worth noting. the first benefit being, these also provide cooling (aka air conditioning). the second benefit is the built in air filtration of the mini-splits; many have air filters that help pull dust etc out of the air (the literal air conditioner). the third benefit is a steady temperature no matter what the weather is like; in other words, toss the programmable thermostat.
in summary
heat pumps for single family dwelling in moderate climates (where temperatures never go below -20C) seem to be widely available and are affordable when compared to natural gas furnaces. >> if this is your situation, a heat pump will probably work for you
if you are in a cold climate (temperatures drop below -20C or drop below -30C for extended periods) a backup heating system will be needed. >> I have heard of dual systems (heat pump with built in furnace) but havent seen an actual product. Those that have installed heat pumps with backup heating, indicate the heat pumps have worked out well.
if you are in a multi-family dwelling (apartment / condo) you are currently SOL. >> if someone knows of heat pumps that replace the boiler for hot water heating systems, please repost with that info.

weird craving? i dont think so. when i was pregnant, i had craving, for me it's weird because i usually dont like anything sour but i crave tart yogurt, or anything lemon or lime flavor. i usually dont like beans but i craved bbq baked beans. i ate a loooot of thai food n i refused to eat chinesse food. Fried food smell n sessame smell made me want to throw up. n i bought lemon cake instead of chocolate cake. those were my weird craving. as if right now i dont have it.

i feel like daddy is a closer match to パパ as papa is a bit antiquated in English. but daddy has certain connotations i cant look past anymore.....

to those unfamiliar with the current eisuke lore or w/e, their second child (pictured above) is named Kaito. the story is set at time when kaito’s been long born and has grown to be a cute little boi. he’s very innocent (much like eito before the eisuke genes settled in), and both eito and eisuke are very sweet to him in turn. he’s old enough to be aware that his brother and father don’t get along, but not old enough to realize this is something that can’t be fixed
originally i was thinking about translating some of it, which is why i held back on talking abt this. but i hate translating smut scenes cuz it requires more care to prevent it from sounding like a lazy piece from dlsite (there’s gud stuff on dlsite dun get it twisted, but u know wat i mean) so im just gonna poorly summarize it instead. sorry!!
very brief, very unsexy summary behind the cut
anyway, the story is really about about how mc and eisuke have a “wordless” misunderstanding (u know how they both assume things without actually having a talk about it). they raw dog it one night (they usually wear condoms etc…. the last time they forgone it, she got pregnant with kaito. girl) and he’s like “Don’t tighten around me so much tonight— Do you want a third child that badly?” and he ramps up the speed. he’s about to nut (i told u this is an unsexy summary) but mc’s like waaaait!! eisuke misunderstands this as mc not wanting any more kids right now (or perhaps ever) and backs off and puts on a rubber. it’s not that mc doesn’t want more kids… it’s just that the way things are right now with their family are good, and she’s scared of that being messed up somehow. understandable
next day blah blah kaito is cute (eats green peas without complaint, already better than the dad) and as a rich kid has fancy dance lessons to go to. later they’re waiting outside school to pick up eito, but then kaito runs off to chase a cat. a creep finds him and then kaito almost runs along with him when said creep claims he’s a friend of eisuke’s. eisuke appears out of nowhere to prevent any further stranger danger and is like “wat business do u have with my son”. then the whole gang shows up to save the day
[Baba]: “That’s big brother Baba to you – don’t you forget that now!”
[Ota]: “Baba— at such an advanced age, you ought to give up on being called a ‘brother’ at this point.”
blah blah next bone scene. eisuke wants her on top tonight bc he knows she’s been restless so he wants her to pleasure herself at her own pace blah blah
the next time they have off or w/e, the family goes to the zoo. yes, the same zoo with the bunnies. i guess marron would have passed on at this point (googles “average lifespan of rabbit in captivity” → 8-12 years → uh oh).
i havent described the story in great detail so it’s not apparent in this summary, but eito is a very good, kind big brother. he’s like eisuke build 2.1.7: fixed bug where model had issues with actively partaking in activities with loved ones
well kaito points out a baby and it startles mc. but then eito clarifies “baby” as in baby rabbit, which then mc’s like “…o” cuz the thought of human babies has been occupying her mind for quite a while now
that night they continue the talk about maybe having another kid. they finally clear up that theyre both cool with it or w/e. eisuke’s mindset is not so much that he wants more kids, but rather that he’s fine with it either way bc, u know, it’s a family with MC. well mc ultimately wants more kids cuz of the whole more family → more happiness to share and have sort of thing.
they bone with the intention of getting pregnant and before the SUPER NUT eisuke’s like “I want to have a child with you.”
which im gonna say is much cuter in Japanese than in English so uh. anyway he said the same thing when they boned that ended up conceiving eito, so i guess those are magic fertility words bc it did make her pregnant
in the His POV, the boys go pick up mc from the hospital to hear if the new baby is going to be a girl or a boy. and so……she doesn’t know yet. knowing their luck, it’s another boy. maybe the writers are holding back cuz they’re not sure how many baby stories they want LOL
that’s pretty much the story in terms of plot. the smut scenes are pretty decent compared to the other kbtbb stories on the site, so i recommend buying it!!
again, sorry for the lousy summary but smut translation is above my paygrade (zero). maybe ill do it one day……. time for it to rot in the back of the queue like everything else

danny phantom episode 4-7 Thoughts: (under a readmore because, these got kinda long!)
-the outfit danny had to buy for dash's party. CLASSIC 2000S i cannot stop laughing. And also showing up to the party and everyone is dressed like the trio is hilarious. and further proof that everyone looks good dressed goth.
-dash has a closet full of cute lil bear plushies?? LOVE that. adorable. also his response to danny trashing his room fighting a ghost was SO valid if somone BROKE MY BED IN HALF ID BE PISSED TOO.
-technus being like 'oh smart, u should be a tutor!' then later being like 'forget tutor, be a teacher!' :) supportive king <3 I also really like his upgraded suit/design. AND SPOCK CAMEO??? HELLO??
-the music in this show is super. its so funky. I looked it up and the guy who does it, guy moon (awesome name) also did music for other cartoons like fairly odd parents, barnyard, chalkzone, billy & mandy, AND some actual movies like FIGHT CLUB??? the whiplash I got from reading that)
-sam being rich explains a lot about her, actually.
-I know the moral of the episode was supposed to be 'dont ditch your friends for popular people/spend a lot of money on clothes that arent You to Fit In'. but tbh. it wouldve been easy for danny to have been like 'well, okay, ill come but only if my friends can!' but I get. that hes 14. so. not a lot to say there.
-BOX GHOST IS BACK!!!!! also, danny sitting up and wearing the dress/wig/makeup. umm thats how I dress everyday LMFAO. unironically me. (hate the jokes that boil down to 'haha funney man in dress' tho. but this is a look)

-gotta say im with tucker on the whole 'should danny use his powers to get back at bullies' debate. 100% yes. let him teach kids to fight back. making dash throw his food at paulina out of the blue? no. but when hes actually about to pick on someone? yeah! for self defense? YEAH! if dash and his friends just threw food at him, I think rather than. idk doing sneaky shit with frogs he couldve just threw it back and not pulled punches if they tried to fight. I kNOOWWW its a kids show so they are like 'if u fight back ur just as bad!! violence bad!!' but. theyre HIS POWERS. WHO CARES.
-like my only gripe is that dash really isnt LEARNING ANYTHING WHEN DANNY GETS BACK AT HIM IN THE MOST PETTY INDIRECT WAYS. whatever they had to add a bully psa episode I guess. I hate it and I hate the way cartoons usually handle it because these methods simply Do Not Work. 'aND YouRE USinG YOur poWErs FOR EVill???!' this is Not Evil. even when poindexter takes dannys body, theyre only being 'nice' bc hes stealing soda for them!! bitches deserve what they get (nothing too brutal bc theyre high schoolers but damn, if they pick on danny he doesnt need to be the 'bigger person' he needs to start biting people)

-I LOOOVE the trope of 'wishes gone wrong'. not crazy about the stereotypical genie, or the use of the dreamcatcher looking design. (also, I KNOW theyre scientists but the way theyre handling a cold...are the fentons ANTIVAX)
-the genie. she. whitewished paulina. JKASDFHKJ. (the ghost literally just being hello kitty???? im dying) 'why do i feel that im special and wonderful? because I AM! <3' paulina ilu self worth queen. felt bad for her also getting possessed by (2) boys later who were arguing INSIDE HER. WTF.
-imagine being the guy trapped in his now flying car. he thought danny and tucker were HALUCINATIONS. imagine being trapped in a flying car with two, what you think are imaginary arguing 14 year olds convinced ur gonna die. i WOULD say this dude is gonna need so much therapy, but he seemed totally fine and excited when they landed (I would be happy too if a chicken was on my head. chickens rule) stoner rights

I know the show has 3 seasons, so by the end of it will they be older? thatd be neat but usually cartoon characters stay the same age...I love shows where you can see the characters age and grow up, though...three seasons seems like a long time to spend on like, 1 year...

They rarely ever let loose ever since their worlds had plunged into sickness and demon attacks. Especially Alec. So, Magnus had let his husband be that 18-year-old boy again. The boy who got drunk and fought with his siblings and sang songs about Magnus’ pretty eyes.

Requests (5/23/2021)
Hi lovelies! I’ve been getting so many requests & I’m working hard to get all of them in the queue. Thanks for sending them my way! I’m writing to let you know that the queue is now full until the end of June. I was able to get every requests from my May 8th post in there except for a few. Requests from May 8th for captions featuring Katy Perry, Jenna Fischer, Marisol Nichols, Addison Rae, Ariana Grande, Erin Kellyman, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Jhene Aiko, & Kirstin Maldonado will be posted in early July.
But there have been an absolute ton of requests since then too, yay! So I’m listing all the requests that I haven’t gotten to below. If you made a request but don’t see it below that might be for a few reasons. 1) I’ve written it already and it will be posted in June. 2) It’s one of the requests I posted on May 8th so I won’t talk about it here. 3) I considered it a demand not a request (for example, I received two that said “Anything with,” that wasn’t really a request just telling me to do it. Sorry if this bothers some of you but it is an issue with me so make sure you word your requests AS requests). Either way, thanks for the love, lovelies! :D

So first stage is hair color for example, second stage could be height, third stage could be body type, etc. An example would be if I was a black hair, short height, thick body type, I would match up with someone like Nicki Minaj. So it is not an issue with CGI “enhanced” celebrities but for Cats it is because I do not have a Furry fetish and I get uncomfortable thinking about writing caps for it. But I write caps with “manips” all the time (photoshopped images of celebs) so I’m not ruling out CGI enhanced celebs all together.

How about instead of removing the captions with Demi in them ,the images of Demi were just replaced with another celeb and if Demi is mentioned by name in the caption then that could be edited to mention a different celeb. I respect Demi's decision I do but lets not lose some well made captions. Also if you could please make a caption where Amy Adams feminises a fan and raises them as her daughter and Kristen Stewart makes you her submissive wife that would be appreciated. I'm a fan of them.
So about the Demi Lovato captions: I understand your feelings but I’m still going to delete the original captions. Because of how my captions are made I can’t just go back in & swap out an image or edit the text, I have to remake it from the ground up. I am hoping to do that with some (maybe all) of the Demi Lovato captions & re-publish them, but I’m still going to delete the originals.
I can do the Kristen Stewart one for sure and I’ll TRY to do the Amy Adams one I just am not 100% sure I can find a pic for that but we’ll see. :)

About the hiatus: I don’t know when it’s going to be. I want to TRY to make it to at least July 18th because I have a specific game in mind I want to post for 5 years of Celebrity TG Captions games, but after that I have no idea. I’ve been writing caps for a longer stretch of time since normal since I’ve switched to a part-time blog so I might burn out at any second but for right now I’ve still got some juice.

I am back with more of my sister's commentary! And no, i havent told her that Koko is a guy. I'll just let her stew in that misunderstanding... for now. But that is a story for another time.
Let me grab my first-wife-who-killed-her-rich-husband-robe first. And set the fireplace for a cozy room. Oh! I almost forget the red wine. You don't mind me drinking right? Want some? It's a good old wine, expensive too. Anyway~ let's get on with the story~ about how my dear, poor, sister lost her trust on these... attractive characters.
Firstly we have Akashi 'Kawagiri' Senju, she is a very pretty girl, with many androgynous fanart of her.
Or as my sister first impression of her 'Killua Zoldyck older, gentler, big BROTHER' (Killua Zoldyck is from 'Hunter x Hunter. You can search him on google. But i think he is kinda famous in the anime community since the anime is quite old.)
She think 'he' have beautiful, long, eye lashes so she doesn't know 'his' gender. When i told her that Senju is a girl, she said "I knew it! So she IS a girl!" THAT is her famous last words of confidence. Before she gradually flater and her confidence in those word diminish as she recalled all of her thoughts about Senju.
Yeah... she started doubt her own words which she yelled in confidence. Later, she screamed at the poor old me, not believing that Senju is a girl. She called me a liar. Oh~ the tragedy~ So, for proof i gave her my phone so she can see for herself the collection of fanarts of Senju. She still can't believe her eyes that SHE, in fact, a GIRL. But at least that cleared my name, Officer!
Then, the unexpected happen! While still doubting her eyes, she said these word, "How can 'he' be a girl? I don't believe it! Do you know why? Because 'she' have the same vibe as 'Dabiee." I was confused, in my mind, i ask myself, 'Who the heck is Dabee? Do i know any Dabee?' So i ask for clarification, and it turn out the 'Dabee' is 'Dabi from Boku no Hero Academia'. Honey, i was shocked!
I was all like, 'Where did you see the resemblance of this pretty genes girl with that burnt chicken nugget?' Of course, i use more courteous language when asking her. Turn outs the vibes that she see is from the eyes or more specifically the under eyes or the below eyelashes that have gives an illusion of dark circles. I still don't see it! One of them have full eyelashes the others DON'T! I am still confused at her.
So yeah that is her impression of Senju! Dabi 2.0 or 'He Who have Dabi Vibe'

[1/2] hey, okay, it's me again. i feel like i'm treating you like an unpaid therapist but idk where to share this and how to get help (this is kinda lengthy, and i do apologise for that)
i think i'm running out of patience for myself on how to live with myself; all my favourite artists and fictional characters experience this same hollow loneliness but they just— keep going..... despite it all. i'm trying to keep busy with studying but that quickly led to an all-nighter and now i can't fall asleep despite my exhaustion. i think the goals i've had in mind for myself are too high, so i'm just going to spend the next week reading without shame or guilt and try to finally start learning russian. i don't really take care of my physical fitness bc i'm always tired and i feel like all my energy is spent on keeping in check with eating and taking care of my physical hygiene. i have so much time each day and yet at the end of the day i still feel like i did nothing even though i read and studied a lot. i just feel like i'm stagnated, still in my 16-year-old teenage mind bc i spent my youth numbing myself bc i couldn't stand my own thoughts. i havent talked to anyone really, besides my famil, in weeks, and i know loneliness is a common feeling most of us carry with us, but since i'm not very smart and don't know about a lot of things that matter, like history and art, i just feel so inadequate because all these people i look up to, and secretly aspire to be, are fundamentally different from me. they have rich inner lives even in times of despair, they know how to build their own lives in the rubble and just keep on going despite it all. i just feel like a shell of a human being (dramatic i know). i'm also aware that i'm highly privileged and don't have to worry about money and housing, etc. and i'm grateful for that but despite that I just hate myself and I wish I could be someone else and change; I've tried to over the past years but i never make any actual changes in my life? I don't want to die per se, I just don't want to keep on living like this.
[2/2] also, with the looming climate desaster and our world being ruled by capitalism i know a lot of worries and problems stem from that;;;; also i've had this very embarrassing conversation with my family a month ago; i was very drunk and ofc started talking about capitalism, etc. and lgbtq rights. they're very conservative, smart and well-read and i'm just the complete opposite— my point being, bc i feel so desperately lonely i'm trying to have these conversations with the people around me that are obviously only really meant to be had with close pals and not with 60 year olds who only care about the bootstrap theory etc. anyway my grandmother called me out on my bs and said "so what have you done in your life so far?" nothing. i shouldn't complain about other people, politics etc. and the patriarchal, white supremacist strucures around us bc i've never worked a day in my life...... it's just. i know she's right. but like i literally don't know how to hold conversations anymore and can never recall stuff i read accurately so i'm just talking shit the whole time. i'm so desperately trying to get their approval but i'm just not well-read and smart enough. i know being dumb is not the worst thing to be, i'm alive and living in a well-situated area, but it's the only thing i used to define myself with. my parents expected a lot of us as children and i couldn't deliver. so i pretty much forced them to stop pressuring me but i wish they did now. bc then i would be smart, worldly and have a bright future. i'm sorry for the long rambling. i also don't want to ruin your feed by my long asks...... anyway, if you have any advice i would be so glad to hear it. bc i feel like i'm going slightly insane. -💌 sorry for doing this <33 🤠 feel free to just delete this;;;

don't feel bad for sending this in. your long post is going to have a long answer and it ruining my feed is literally the last thing on my mind. if it bothers people, that's on them ;) similarly to the last ask you sent in, i kind of just pulled out a few things that you wrote and decided to give my perspective on it. i hope that reading some of my (very scrambled) thoughts will relax your mind and heart just a little bit. everything will be okay, i promise.
so the first thing that stood out to me was when you mentioned how all of your favorite fictional characters just keep on going when they feel lonely and i know how frustrating that can be because it's so glorified. they just keep going and then boom! things are better, right? i want you to remember that this is fiction and not an accurate representation of how hard the feeling of loneliness actually hits. so try not to compare yourself to your favorite character and beat yourself up if you're not dealing with loneliness as well as they did because everything in fiction is better and easier.
as for feeling exhausted because of the goals you've made for yourself, i know what you mean. i'm such a perfectionist and workaholic (i suffered from such bad burn out this year). i'm learning how to lower them as well. it's good to be ambitious. it's amazing to have big dreams and goals but you have to prepare yourself for setbacks and failure. so from now on, it's decided that you and me, are going to be accountability buddies. no more unrealistic goals and deadlines. i will hold you accountable, you will hold me accountable and we'll improve together 🤍
so you don't know about things like history and art and you claim that these are things that matter. but matter to who? are you genuinely intrigued by these things? if you are, then study it. read about it. ask questions. but if they just matter to your family, then i really don't think you need to know about these things extensively. it's always good to know things generally but if you aren't interested, then don't waste your time learning about it just to please others.
i could be completely wrong, but from what i understood from your message, you feel really lonely and you're starting to feel a bit stuck. you're surrounded by people who are different from you and that sometimes makes you feel suffocated because the conversations you want to have aren't wanted by others. the first thing i noticed in your message is that you repeatedly call yourself stupid or dumb. you need to stop that, okay? if you keep telling that to yourself, it will destroy a lot of opportunities for you. trust me, i know. you will turn down opportunities thinking that you're not smart enough for it but it's not true. you don't need to be smart to have a bright future. you can be creative, you can athletic, you can be selfless, you can be funny. maybe you just need to embrace who you are and trust that you will have a bright future by just being you. i'll tell you something: you don't need to be exactly like your family to have their success. you need a determination and a good work ethic. where do you start? stop underselling your intelligence. believe in yourself!!!
P.S i can tell that you're smart because your vocabulary is out of this world!!! and oh my god, can we talk about your punctuation? like bestie, you're ahead of the game. i also had to google what the bootstrap theory is. you are smarter than you give yourself credit for!!
another thing i would encourage you to do is to avoid "deep" conversations with your family. if your family is very conservative, there are going to be certain topics that they just won't understand and it might make you frustrated or feel misunderstood; it might make you feel more lonely. i would advise you to just stick to more lighthearted conversations with them. it's not that you don't know how to hold conversations, it's just that the people you're talking to aren't the right listeners.
