I feel like the best argument against effective altruism is the people who have vocally espoused it. Something that appeals so strongly to rich cis white men cannot be good for anybody else.
The moral framework it espouses is as stupid and made-up as any other religion. It dangles a theoretical utopia in front of people and says "You should do everything you can to bring this to fruition, who cares what it does to people who are alive now?" But most religions also say you shouldn't be a piece of shit, so that is a point in their favor.

This is cringe and dumb but the lore is all of the original contestants from gen one, besides Courtney, DJ, Alejandro, Cody, and Harold were lab experiments. Most, or almost all of them are very violent, the only ones that aren’t are Lindsay, Sadie and Katie, and surprisingly Eva. One day Ezekiel managed to break through his cage and began setting everyone free on accident. That’s why they are just, outside. By the way I made Noah a fish man because island of the slaughtered.
