Help I'm scared I'm boarding the 4433 ship. Where do I start?
CHERRY?! welcome aboard.
the most important starting point, for me, is a genuine love for both max and lewis as guys and drivers. this will keep you sane. somewhat.
but welcome to a flawed and quick overview of 4433 (Lewis Hamilton/Max Verstappen)
disclaimer: mostly factual with images/gifs/videos.
it starts where it all starts: when they get into each other's orbit. this is Max's entrance to F1.
as we all know, baby max at age 17 entering the prestigious pinnacle of motorsport caused quite a stir. everyone had their thoughts on it. then max promoted to red bull before the spanish gp of 2016. nico and lewis took each other out in that gp and max cruised (with kimi's hot breath in his neck for the last 18 laps) to his very first victory.
everyone talks about max as if he's already a world champion. he's the next gen, people say, the new ayrton senna. the car is for years nowhere good enough, but he gets better and better.
this comes with: sharing podiums and press conferences with lewis hamilton.
their first one is the austrian gp 2016 - lewis p1, max p2 (after having started p9 and lewis crashing part of nico's fron wing).
Tumblr media
in that same season: silverstone (lewis p1, max p2 due to nico's penalty, nico p3); germany (lewis, daniel, max); japan (nico, max, lewis); brazil (lewis, nico, max).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
honorable mention to this shot from malaysia, 2016 post-qualifying press conference:
Tumblr media
second honorable mention to this gif of brazil 2016 where lewis showed a meme to max during press and then this photo that perfectly summarises the highlights of 2016 for me (abu dhabi, 2016):
Tumblr media
SO from this moment on, they get into a sort of constant. a regularity. lewis sets foot on most podiums. max gets to do the same more and more often (we don't speak of 2017). in the beginning, lewis refers to max publicly as 'this guy' or 'this dude'. max wants none of that, so he mentions it to lewis during the chinese gp of 2017.
everyone's on the whole 'maxsplaining' these days but max always had a tendency to do this and lewis was always quite a willing conversational partner (french gp 2018)
also very important mention goes to abu dhabi 2018. podium. lewis just got his back tattooed so he had to show everyone. and max was there, champagne in hand, and thought 'okay then' and sprayed it all under. if that ain't a euphemism, idk what is.
Tumblr media
THEN also important mention is to max always always always acknowledging that lewis is 'one of the greatest drivers ever' or something along those lines (compilation) the fist clip is from this interview in 2020.
it all leads up to 2021, of course. but everything that happens before it is so so so important and fundamental to how they handle 2021. max is praised to the gods for his racing talent and lewis is climbing up the ranks and up the records to become the greatest. i've referred to max as a storm before. a storm that's coming, one that the news predicts and everyone's getting their umbrella's out to prepare for it. so was lewis. lewis could feel the wind picking up, could feel the first raindrops. and he waited. and waited.
and in the mean time: he just. gets along with max.
(hungary 2019 / brazil 2019 / abu dhabi 2019)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(germany 2020 / bahrain 2020 / abu dhabi 2020)
until it was time. 2021. i don't think i have to run through 2021, since i know you've been there. but the build up of lewis knowing that max would be one to watch out for, and max knowing that lewis is an incredibly talented driver who doesn't just let go, is chef's kiss to me. max was always just-not there to actually challenge lewis, and suddenly he was. but bahrain-2021-them could not predict what everything would look like by abu dhabi 2021. they started out like any other season, except max proved to be much more competitive than ever before. then in monaco he takes the championship lead (race 5/22). in silverstone the crash (immediately followed by lewis' boardradio 'is max ok?'), then zandvoort where lewis seems happier than ever to be p2 next to max (cue full-orange outfit on thursday) and monza where everything goes sour again. then they're bitter but okay, until saudi arabia and abu dhabi. and lewis was one of the first to say something long the lines of 'yeah i've been fucked over by the fia, but i don't blame max bc if i were in his position i'd have done the same'. and regardless of everything that happened: before and after every single race they greet each other with a fist bump/handshake/hug. okay so i ran through 2021 anyway whoops.
and 2022 started off right with this small moment between them
but beyond that in 2022: lewis is Not there. mentally. and yet in austria they share a podium, in hungary (pics), in austin and in mexico. they always seek each other out. chat. say hi. listen. joke. have fun.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and 2023 is the same, except lewis is on the podium more often, they joke more in the press conferences and they're both just so comfortable around each other. they're both the greatest drivers in the sport ever (lewis having been there longer and with much more titles, but max of equal talent and arguably with a more supportive team) and they just like each other. 13 years age difference? who cares. lewis is wearing a ring with number 33 on it to this race. so like. how much more canon can it get?
and yeah, 2021 was a lot. it was intense. it was controversial. but lewis would very much like to fight max again for the title. lewis thinks he's the only one who could. max thinks lewis is the only one who could.
so they're back to how it started. the news predicted a storm. except now max feels the breeze, the rain. and he's ready, he's waiting.
the fics are pretty good too. if you need a headstart: here's a fic rec list i've made. it's a rollercoaster of a ship, but at the end of the day, we always, always win and thrive.

i could not help myself....
also these clips were taken from various videos from here and youtube since nick and netflix wouldn't let me screen record so i'm sorry </3
ramble undercut!
this is a lot of nonsense so i apologize
i don't have many thoughts but i do know that this is one of the best recent animated series i've seen in such a long time. i'm someone who typically just rewatched the same four series and call it a day, that being code lyoko, digimon, wakfu, and whatever i might end up hyperfixating on suddenly. i don't watch new animated series often unless it's with friends, young justice being the only one i actively watched and enjoyed. i don't think it's the best since rewatching rottmnt but it's definitely really good! i love both series separately and for their own reasons, YJ for the more serious and grim tones and ROTTMNT for literally everything. i'm really glad to be able to even watch this series and that it's on netflix, i had never watched season 2 because i just simply forgot like an idiot and then the movie came out! and so i binge rewatched the series after watching the movie with a friend and the movie was just fantastic! i won't get into any spoilers but genuinely it lived up to the hype and i could only ask for me! i showed a bit of the series through clips, images, and conversation to my sibling and they seemed intrigued by it which may not mean much but we're both adults, me being 18 and them going to be 22 and doesn't usually engage in things i like with interest. being able to find a space to just talk about this series means the world, and expressing things i love is something i find most meaningful. the fandom genuinely feels like such a safe space. minus how i still don't know if using the hearts paired (❤️💙💜🧡) is a shipping thing or just something fans do for support, i've had nothing but positive experiences so far! i haven't had this much fun with a series to this extent in a while and it's genuinely just so nice. my dad was huge into TMNT when it first came out and i've talked to him about the series before, he seemed more confused and entertained by the zaniness of it than wanting to sit down and watch it but hey! it's still meaningful to me! also?? the representation?? CANON autistic donnie and CANON adhd mikey?? in MY tmnt show? hell yeah !!!! it makes me so happy to be able to actually feel security in relating to characters and not feel like it's insulting? this video is best of talking about what i mean so i genuinely do think you should give it a watch or listen!! anyways i guess what i'm saying is i love ROTTMNT and i cannot recommend it enough nor will i shut up about it right now

I’ve never thought about smoe before could you tell me about it :0
ok its been a little while since ive thought about smoe (though i am still ever so dedicated to them) so this post is going to be super super jumbled up so bear with me here lol
in the season 22 episode "flaming moe", smithers and moe like operate the bar together or some shit and turn it into a gay bar. the episode itself is umm................. not really my favorite. but i think they have a ton of chemistry with each other. at the end of the episode, moe is like trying to run for governor or something bc all the people who go to the gay version of moe's tavern think he's gay and could like help get pro lgbt laws passed in springfield. ofc smithers knows hes not actually gay. (or at least not out imo lmao) so like while hes giving some kinda speech or whatever smithers tries to make him prove his gayness to the crowd by asking him to kiss him. tbh i think this part is fucked up and really shows how the writers have like never met a gay person in their lives but WHATEVERRRR anyway moe doesnt do it ofc and he gets embarrassed. but then the crowd walks away and he ends up kissing smithers anyway. and not like a little peck or whatever he like Kisses him. then he says hes "glad he tried it once" but this is actually Not True. this could possibly be chocked up to just the writers not rlly caring about super specific past show events but im going to pretend like this was actually intentional.
moe seems like the kind of guy to lie about a thing like that. in the episode "much apu about nothing" he is seen at the end, after spending the whole episode saying anti-immigration stuff, taking a citizenship test to become a legal citizen. not only this but he is wearing a disguise and is looking around all frantically because he doesnt want people to know it's him. also, he's kissed multiple men in the series, even before this episode. i think the earliest example is all the way back in season 2!
i have a compilation i made a while ago of moments where moe has acted a little gay. feel free to watch if u need more convincing. the very first clip in the video is probably the most convincing one imo and one of my fave jokes with him lmfao. https://youtu.be/ZTd0hleYp5I
anyways. ive talked enough about why i think moe would even have a chance of being interested in smithers, now onto why i think they would go together so well.
they're both pretty lonely, honestly. yes, smithers has mr. burns, but he has stated that he is "the closest thing to a friend he's ever had" which is a bit sad because mr. burns isn't exactly the nicest to him. it's been implied that smithers has to wake up at like 4:30 in the morning for his job (homer the smithers, season 7). he probably doesn't really take care of himself very well. moe definitely doesn't either but in different ways than him. i like to think that they could bring each other out of their shells. moe could possibly help smithers move on from mr. burns. he's been spending such a long time waiting for something impossible to happen, he's gonna have to let go eventually, even if he keeps doing his job. moe could give him another purpose in life aside from being a lackey. smithers could help moe come to terms with his identity maybe. he could also help him feel like he has a purpose in life. i think it would probably take them a long time to truly warm up to each other but i do feel like they have a lot more in common than you'd think and could really do something great for one another :-D

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has become an internet sensation but insists attention should be on players
Arsenal boss Unai Emery has become an internet sensation after & # 39; cam manager & # 39; video has collected 2.75 million views on Instagram … but he says that cameras & # 39; s should focus on his players
Unai Emery insists he is not interested in online films after the antics of the touchline
The video of the manager cam of Arsenal has collected 2.75 million Instagram views
Emery says he & # 39; really, really wants & # 39; that attention is focused on his players
By Gerry Cox for the post on Sunday

Unai Emery does not want to be the center of attention when Arsenal host Tottenham on Sunday, but it is becoming an internet sensation thanks to the new & # 39; manager-cam & # 39; feature of the club.
The Arsenal website has a camera that is exclusively trained on their manager in the north London derby. It's the first time it's being used in the Emirates, but during a trial run at St James's Park for Arsenal's 1-0 win over Newcastle during the opening weekend, a clip from Emery only attracted 2.75m viewers on Instagram.
Yet Emery, one of the most animated touchline managers, says he is not interested in the attention. & # 39; I am not the main character, & # 39; he said.
Arsenal & # 39; s & # 39; manager cam & # 39; video of Unai Emery at Newcastle at 2.75 m Instagram views
Emery is one of the most animated managers but insists that he doesn't want any attention
Emery says he wants cameras to be on his s for 90 minutes pelers are focused
& # 39; The most important for the camera is the team. Maybe the supporters can look at me and other things after the game on Monday.
& # 39; But the most important camera is the one on the players on the field. I really, really, really want the focus to be on the players until after the game. & # 39;
Like it or not, the Spaniard is looking compulsively as he plays every kick and header from his technical field. & # 39; I do what I feel like at the moment – to help the players. But sometimes I sit back and wait before I make the best decision for the game. It is not always the same time for every game.
& # 39; I have done this throughout my career. In Spain, in France and now here. It has been the same in every country because I want to be active, but I don't want to be a protagonist. I want to help and support the players. I have the responsibility to help them, to support them, to give them the best solution tactically and individually.
& # 39; But they are the protagonists. When the match starts, we sit on the bench for 90 minutes and they are on the pitch. The most difficult work is for them and we are there to help them with our passion, with our energy, but above all be intelligent in managing those 90 minutes. & # 39;
Emery got off to a good start in his first North London derby winning 4-2 in the Emirates last year, before losing 2-0 in the Carabao Cup a few weeks later. Spurs finished above Arsenal for the third year in a row and cut them out of a Champions League place, and now Emery follows Mauricio Pochettino's lead in giving homegrown young players a chance.
Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles have all had a lot of attention this season so far and Emery says: & We need young players. Our responsibility is to give them opportunities to train with us, then to play friendly games, and then important games like we do. & # 39;
Emery says that young players such as Joe Willock (right) are vital to the club's future
He will rotate them with more experienced internationals for some games, though. & # 39; They can share with experienced players, because our requirements are very difficult and very important. But above all, the young players can take risks if they show us that they can improve with us.
& # 39; Training every day is very important for their self-confidence, their responsibility and so if we give them opportunities in competitions, they come closer to our demands. & # 39;
And so far Arsenal are in a good position.
We played three games. But we are going to play 38 and I really want to enjoy every moment, play every moment and test ourselves in every match. The future is coming and it depends on what we do at every moment and every race, and for example Sunday is not the same as we win if we lose. It is very different and I really want to enjoy that moment, I want to prepare it, I want to enjoy it today, tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday before the game – and after, of course, in the 90 minutes.
& # 39; I think every supporter wants to enjoy every moment and that Sunday will be for our supporters, including their (Tottenham & # 39; s) supporters, and I think an important competition worldwide, enjoy an important moment, an important 90 minutes [so we]. & # 39;

The Simpsons Season 4 - Ranked
22. So its Come to This: A Simpsons Clip Show
Its may not be fair to compare a clip show to episodes with actual narrative driven episodes, as the episodes aren’t really done for creative purposes but rather is just Fox wanting money by saving on animation costs, the writers never really wanted to do any clip shows, but on the other hand they are counted as episodes so I will as well.
21. Marge in Chains
A weird episode, focused on Marge going to prison for stealing a bottle of cough syrup, either consciously or sub-consciously, because of the stress of dealing with the stress of looking after the rest of the sick family. Season 4 of the Simpsons is arguably the best season of any TV show of all time so its difficult to really rank them in any other way than just putting the few that aren’t masterpieces by the bottom, Marge in Chains and the next couple just happen to fall into this category.
20. New Kid on the Block
Ive never really loved this episode, there are parts I find pretty funny, mostly the payoff of Bart’s prank calls to Moe, and some of the Ruth Powers scenes are alright, but for the most part this episode leaves me a bit cold.
19. Marge Gets a Job
This is another episode where the parts are greater than the whole, there are some really funny scenes, but it just doesn't have the cohesion that greater episodes have.
18. The Front
Speaking of cohesion, this is a weird episode. I always used to think that the b-plot of the episode (where homer has to go to night school after he finds out he never really graduated high-school) was the main story, but the title of the episode is referencing the actual main plot, where Bart and Lisa write an Itchy and Scratchy episode and put Grandpa’s name on the script so that it gets produced. I just find it weird that both the A and B plots are pretty much the same length.
17. Brother from the Same Planet
Good but not great is the best way I can describe this episode. It doesn’t help that Tom was meant to be played by Tom Cruse who dropped out after they had already written the episode, so they replaced him with the great Phil Heartman which is never a bad thing, but I can't help but be reminded it was meant to be Cruse.
16. Selma’s Choice
This is the part of the list when I have to differentiate between classics and just put the least of them by the bottom. I really do enjoy this episode, especially the third act at Duff Gardens, but I guess the first two acts are slightly lesser than the last one, but its a minor complaint. Plus Homers sandwich is great.
15. Homer’s Triple Bypass
A pretty dark episode, dealing with Homers death, like One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish Blue Fish. This doesn’t mean there aren’t funny moments, there are, but there is a slight tonal inconsistency due to the balance needed to tell this story, which isn’t always met.
14. Lisa the Beauty Queen
I really enjoy this episode, I would call it one of the funnier and more touching episodes of the season, again, it just shows the quality of the rest of the season that this falls in the bottom half of the season.
13. A Streetcar Named Marge
Another Homer/ Marge relationship episode, not one of the best but, It has an inspired version of Streetcar in the third act. And the Maggie plot is surprisingly intelligent, commentating on the philosophy of Ayn Rand in a Great Escape parody with a Hitchcock reference at the end, seriously what other show would do that.
12. Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie
One of the best Itchy and Scratchy themed episodes, plus it has one of the first flash-forward scenes.
11. Duffless
This episode has a great concept, of Homer not drinking beer for a month, and while nothing here is extremely surprising, most of the situations and jokes are predictable, but it doesn’t make it any less enjoyable.
10. Treehouse of Horror III
Still in the era of great Treehouse of Horror episodes, with a King Kong, a Twilight Zone and George A. Romero parodies. One of my favorites.
9. Lisa’s First Word
We got the story of how Homer and Marge met, how Marge got pregnant with Bart and how Homer and Marge got Married. This is the next logical step, the birth of Lisa and how Bart reacts to it. Like the rest of the 4 main flash-back episodes there is equal amount of heart and humor, even though this is probably my least favorite of them.
8. Whacking Day
Just a fun episode, with the great moral of not beating snakes to death for no reason.
7. I Love Lisa
Some peoples favorite episode, and I get it the story of a loser who falls for a girl who just tolerates him out of pity does hit a little too close to home.
6. Kamp Krusty
This was apparently meant to be the first Simpsons movie, but they apparently struggled to get enough material for 22 minutes so instead they added the montage at the end and made it an episode, and a damn good one at that.
5. Homer the Heretic
Homer talkes to God and decides to start his own religion so he doesn’t have to wake up early on Sundays to go to Church. With equal parts pathos and humor this is a classic Homer episode.
4. Mr. Plow
One of the most famous and recognizable episodes, and for good reason, its great. The episode somehow manages to stay simple and high-concept at the same time while still being hilarious throughout.
3. Krusty Gets Kancelled
I love this episode, even without the guest stars, (none of whom I knew as a kid) this is great, one of the funniest episodes and my favorite Krusty episode.
2. Marge vs. the Monorail
Many consider this to be the best episode of the entire show, and one of the greatest tv episodes ever made. And I get it, this is as close to a perfect half-hour of comedy as you can get. There are jokes every other second, theres Phil Heartman singing a great song, and theres one of the tightest scripts you will ever see adapted to television.
1. Last Exit to Springfield
While Marge vs the Monorail it great, I feel that this is pretty much a perfect Simpsons episode, you have all the family members given enough time to shine, with Homer still clearly in the spotlight going against the series main villain: Mr. Burns, in a perfectly mad cap, surreal and just immensely funny episode that, just brings something new every time you watch it. TV comedy at its best.
Overall Rankings:
1.Last Exit to Springfield
2. Homer at the Bat
3. Marge vs. the Monorail
