as a kid I had so many, but only as of now am I beginning to collect them for myself! here she is in all of her glory (feat. some ponies)!

Liz puts a lot of effort into her appearance !! Not for the purpose of looking pretty or getting compliments, but just so people don’t realize just how . . tired she is . She’ll hide her tired eyes and dark circles with makeup , and she’ll hide the puffiness around them as well as her pinkish nose . No one can know how tired she is , and no one can know she was crying .

So back when the new Voltron series was releasing my mom was super excited about it cuz the old series had been one of her favorite shows when she was a kid. She told me in Puerto Rico they didn’t get all the episodes in order or anything but she very enthusiastically told me the basic plot and she mentioned one of the characters going to a space hospital early on which is what leads the princess to pilot the blue lion.

A few years later I find the original original Voltron, which is actually called “Beast King GoLion”. We start watching and a few episodes in that character who supposedly went to the space hospital? Yeah he straight up dies. They hold a funeral for him. My mom was FREAKING OUT she was like “HE DIES?!? HE WENT TO A SPACE HOSPITAL IN MY VERSION?!” And my dad was like “…well did he ever come back?” And she was like “no! But I just assumed that was cuz we didn’t get all the episodes in Puerto Rico!”

So she’s texting all her friends like “guys did u know that Voltron guy actually died” meanwhile we’re pulling up the Voltron she was watching cuz we gotta see this right? So the beginning of GoLion starts with the earth being destroyed. The beginning of Voltron starts with some random planet being destroyed, but “luckily everyone got to their evacuation ships!” So it’s just stuff like that until we get to the death scene where, like she said, space hospital, and then these poor editors had to end the episode somehow, so they just use footage from the funeral that doesn’t show the casket or anything!

So yeah that’s how I ruined my mom’s childhood on accident 😭

A couple weeks ago, on 4/22/23, I purchased my dream car - a Jeep Grand Cherokee!! This has been my dream car for the last 6 years and I have been waiting for this moment for so long! As a new chapter of my life is about to begin as a veterinarian, I felt it was time to gratefully say goodbye to my Honda which carried me through the entire veterinary school journey, from applying to vet school all the way through all 4 years as a vet student. But with graduation right around the corner, I decided it was time to upgrade to a 4x4 and treat myself to the car of my dreams! Welcome to the vet journey, Cocoa (short for Chocolate Chip)! 🤎

Like I always do, I’m still thinking about other planets covered in water containing so many large and frightening looking aquatic creatures that by human definitions are alien marine dinosaurs, both deep sea and deep space creatures

And because I’m always thinking about Humans and Vulcans, I’m currently thinking about a Human who’s a marine biologist who specifically goes to other planets to check out creatures like that but they’re on medical leave because of what happened on the last planet they were on

And I’m imagining them happily explaining their job and the Incident™️ to a Vulcan they met on public transportation while the Vulcan uses every training technique they’ve ever learned to not outwardly show how horrified they are

no bc the way nagi has a tendency to try and psychoanalyze everyone she meets… i would pay good money to watch her walk up to josh and be like ‘allow me to share some observations i’ve made’ and talk for like fifteen minutes (she had only spent five minutes with him beforehand) and he just can’t even speak
