reader is kind of based off of my own insomnia problems, i take gummies to sleep and stuff like that. some parts exaggerated but you get the idea.

isami really thought you were one of the few normal ones in the polar star dorm

he was dead wrong

bro saw you standing in the kitchen trying to not fall asleep

you look like soma that one time he was so tired that he fell asleep in the middle of a whole-ass competition

but at least he was mostly functioning at the time

isami was quick to care for you as megumi also attended to you being the panicky sweetheart she was

he asked you if this was a common occurrence as you seemed to have a various amount of small injuries littered on your body

megumi answers for you as you rub your eyes

you nodded, "i try to get a good amount of sleep... that never really works..." you explain how you even go on melatonin to try to keep your sleeping hours consistent but it doesn't seem to be effective

and just like that you have a bestie that will look out for you other than megumi (and soma if he was feeling competent that day)

he's used to looking after his brother whenever he bonks heads with soma but you're a much different case

he knows how skilled you are with cooking but my god you are so unaware, he is your anxiety more than your own anxiety

he nudges you awake once in a while if you start to doze off standing up and near a hot stove

he takes care of your burns or cuts

he stays up with you over the phone until you fall asleep

he reminds you to take your melatonin

he is GOATED FR !! he a real one

he's so sweet too :(

as time went on, you were kind of just part of aldini family??

isami kept you around him ofc and takumi was just forced to accept it lmao

takumi didn't hate it at all, he was more harsh abt your habits in his tsundere-esque way

A/N: oh my sweet, sweet boy

Pairing: Hijikata x Chizuru

Summary: It’s been a long day, a long life. Hijikata is sick and tired of being called a demon. Is there anyone out there who doesn’t see him as one?

The name Hijikata could not be spoken without ‘Demon Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi’ following quickly after it. There was a point in time when Hijikata loathed the nickname, it was something that Okita used to taunt him. It was something others used to mock what the Shinsengumi stood for. But now? Now the name echoed throughout the streets of Kyoto, it begged passers-by to let them through. Now the mere utterance of the mock title brought fear into his enemies’ eyes. Now… he still hated it now.

He almost wanted the name to grow on him, like how one meets an annoying person and their traits (that you once found annoying) become endearing over time. The nickname did not. It stayed foul, always lingering with a bitter taste in his mouth.

His pen quickly brushed the paper, elegant letters cascading over thin sheets, black ink staining. Signed Hijikata Toshizō. He stared blankly at the paper. Briefly he pondered the tought of scribbling out his name and simply signing it ‘The Demon’. The thought made him frown harder. He couldn’t live up to the nickname, it was ridiculous people had dubbed him so the in the first. What, simply because he followed a strict regime and made sure to ensure the same ideals onto his men that suddenly made him a demon? He shook the thought from his mind. Nevermind that, he had more important things to focus on.

His attention, however dwindling, was disrupted by the gentle call of his name. “Hijikata-san? I’ve brought you some tea.”

“Come in.” Was his gruff response.

Now there was a person who no matter what always said his name with the utmost tenderness; Yukimura Chizuru. A smile threatened to tug on his lips as she gently laid the tea to rest beside his work table. Always the careful one. She idly poured the tea, her attention lazer sharp as though her very life depended on this tea. With a satisfied smile she met his waiting gaze. “Don’t work too hard.” She murmured before bowing politely, leaving the room with a swift exit through the shoji.

Hijikata’s gaze remained on the spot she’d disappeared from. The same smile from before finally curling on his lips. Yes, he might still hate the nickname but at the very least one person could say his actual name. And could say it with the sweetest smile.

Hawks X Reader- Unjustified part/chapter 1

The last time I saw them, my parents, was when I was 5.

“ Come on mama” I called, “ Daddy's home!” I ran through the snow, my small feet sinking into the soft but crunchy white ground.

My father was a good man…

“ Sweet heart, stay back!” I heard my father yell from the car. It sounded like he was already out of the vehicle.

My Mother was a good woman…

“OH MY GOD! Y/N STOP” my mother screamed. She seemed panicked, yet I didn't understand why. It was just dad wasn't it?

They were good people…

I reached the car, and saw dad with a man behind him with a knife to daddy’s throat and holding a gun towards my mother, aimed for her chest.

They didn't deserve to go out like that.

Simultaneously he dragged the knife across and pulled the trigger.

I was shaken awake by a hand on my shoulder. “...Y/n, come on, you don’t want to be late for your first day do you?” the familiar voice of my adoptive mother, Angie, said sweetly.

I rose out of bed as she left the room. She’s my only guardian at the moment, the only one left to raise me. Angie has been there for me since the age of 10. After my parent’s traumatizing death, I bounced from foster home to foster home till I found Angie. She was the only one that seemed to care.

I got out of my thoughts as my feet hit the cold floor with a soft thump and patted across the floor as I walked to my closet. I pulled out a shiny new UA Uniform along with the bright red tie that goes with it.

Today I start at UA High School. I was a late transfer from Isami Academy as a third year student. Though it's a little late in the year, it was just early enough to let me into the Hero Course.

Once I was officially ready, I quickly went downstairs and grabbed a bite to eat. “ eager aren't we?” Angie asked. “ Nope,” I replied, “ just need to get this over with.” I grabbed a pastry off the counter and went out the door.

…

Walking through the city and finding the directions was a pain. Each sign sent me in a different direction that just seemed further away from my destination. I checked my watch to see that I had another 10 minutes till I needed to be in the classroom.

‘Well, looks like I need to make a run for it,’ I thought as my pace picked up. I quickly scanned each sign as I ran to see which direction I needed to go and within a few minutes, I finally reached the front of UA HIgh.

Going inside, I realized that I did not know which classroom I was to go to so I roamed the halls aimlessly. I saw a sign above a classroom door that stated “1-A” and decided to ask someone in there where I needed to go.

When I opened the door, a loud boom and pop was heard. I saw an angered blond haired boy holding a thoroughly terrified green haired boy.

“ How the hell did you beat me?!” the blond shouted. The other student looked as if this was a normal occurrence and turned their attention to me. I was so startled from the sight in front of me that I didn't see a brunette girl coming up to me until she tapped my shoulder.

“ Um…excuse me but who are you? She asked. I turned to her as I shifted my attention. “Oh! I'm sorry, I'm Y/N L/N. I’m a Third year student but I have no idea where I'm going. I don't mean to be a problem but could someone point me in the right direction?” I replied as I bowed my head in politeness.

Suddenly a bright yellow, worm-like thing came up behind me. “ Actually, you're in the right place, L/N. You'll be joining this class as a third year student in the first year class. Since you were a late transfer, all third year classes were full.” it spoke as it unzips to reveal a raven haired man, with a small scar under his eye and a scruff on his chin. He wore a scarf made of some type of weird material around his neck and a pair of bright yellow goggles with lines in the eyes on top of his head.

“ You'll be staying with us for now but you will still be participating in the third year's work as well as the first years,” he continued. “ oh ok” I said as I scratched the back of my neck from embarrassment. “ Ok then, since you'll be here with us, it's only fair that you know our names too.” a black haired girl said as she came up to me. “ I’m Momo Yaoyorozu'' she said. Another girl with pink skin came up to me, “ I’m Mina Ashido.” Then there was another voice, “ I’m Eirjio Kirishima.” There were a dozen other voices but none of them seemed to stick.

Everything was then interrupted by a bell as the man from the yellow sleeping bag walked to the big desk centered in the front of the room. Everyone took their seats as I stood there like an idiot.

“ L/n, you can sit in the seat next to Todoroki.” The man said as the said boy looked back at me. His bicolored eyes followed me as I sat at the desk to his right. He didn't look very trusting and honestly I was a bit intimidated. He looked to be the son of Endeavor , the number 2 Pro Hero. His white and red hair reminded me of the red blood and white snow from that day.

I averted my gaze from him and back to the front of the class. “ Before we start, I'd like you to refer to me as Mr. Aizawa during school,” he said, more directed towards me so I replied with a simple ‘Yes Sir’ as he began class.

…

We had a loud blond haired male by the name of President Mike teaching ELA. I don’t know why I didn't recognize them sooner as the Pro hero EraserHead and President Mike. I guess I was pretty overwhelmed with everything at the start but things are starting to settle.

During the lecture, I felt my mind slipping into a dreamland.

“Yugi! hurry up “ I yelled for my older brother. It's finally summer and I'm so excited to go to the lake.

“ I'm coming, jezz” he said as he came down the stairs, towel and sunscreen in hand. I was bouncing up and down like the 11 year old I was. It was so hot that I should have been sweating buckets from the amount of body heat I was emitting.

“ Come on, come on, come on! It's time for the lake, it's so hot!” I landed on the couch with a plop, my head hanging off the end of the couch upside down.

“ ok, ok, go meet Angie in the car. I'll be there in a minute.” said the 15 year old as he went into the kitchen. Doing as I was told, I went outside and into the steaming car.

“ Are you ready Y/n? Where's your brother?” Angie asked. “ he went into the kitchen to get something real quick. He said he'll be here in a minute,”I replied. Just then we heard a cry of agony from inside the house. I looked at Angie as her eyes widened in horror. She quickly got out and headed inside. I followed after her and found her cradling a body…my brother's body. He was bloody and beaten with a knife stuck in his chest.

Who would do that to a kid? How did they have time to do that? Where are they? Are they still here?

My little brain ran miles a minute, trying to come up with an explanation. Angie grabbed me, snapping me out of my trance, and ran with me in her arms to the car. She quickly put me in, buckled me up, and shut the door, putting herself in after. As she started the car, a man banged on the window, he looked familiar… like the guy that killed mom and dad…

Angie put the car in reverse and backed out of the yard, then put it in drive and sped off. Both of us were panting from adrenaline and fear.

“Y/n…” I was jolted awake by a green haired boy, who I now know as Midoriya. “ I’m sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep,” I said as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. “ You're ok, I just wanted to let you know that it's lunch and i didnt know if you knew where the cafeteria was and I just wanted to help and-,” “ It's fine,” I cut him off from his ramble.“ I could use some help so” “ great, let's go” he said as he headed for the door.

I followed him out the classroom and walked side by side with him through the halls.

“Sooo” I started, “ what's it like as a first year here at UA?” i asked

“ Oh, it's amazing! We get to train our body and mind in the way of a Pro and one day we could be just like them.” he started. “ Recently we’ve been attacked by villains at the USJ.” “I heard about that“ I replied

'' I don't know if it's such a good idea to host the Sports Festival so soon after the attack, but they said that they would have 5 times the security so it should be ok.” he finished, looking forward with a twinkle in his eyes.

“Hold on, they’re still holding the sports festival? Even with all that security, villains could still get in,” I said. Considering the level of security at the USJ, it should have been impossible for villains to get in but they did. So what would stop them from doing the same at the sports festival.

“ Yeah, I understand that but I'm sure that everything will be just fine, plus there will be too many heroes there for them to actually attack.” he stated as a matter of factly as we walked into the cafeteria.

“Wow, this is huge, it’s bigger than what we had at Isami Academy” I marveled. It was so big with many, many, many tables inside and a seating area outside too. Midoryia led me through the lunch line and to a table with some of the other first years. At the table sat Todoroki, Uraraka, Tsu, and Iida. All attention seemed to switch to me from whatever conversation had been happening before.

“ Hey Y/n, how's the first day for you?” Tsu asked.

“ It's been good for the most part,” I replied. I felt a bit uneasy due to Todoroki staring daggers at me. For some reason, he seems to hate me yet I've done nothing to him. Could it be that I'm just new? That I’m competition? I ended up pushing away the thought and opted to ask questions of my own.

“ Hey, what is everyone’s quirk? I mean it would be good to know ahead of time instead of during training,” I asked, directed to everyone at the table. Uraraka was the first to speak up. “ I have zero gravity,” “ so you can make things float?” I asked. “Yep,” she replied

Tsu was next, “ I can do anything a frog can do”

Idia spoke up, “ I have engine. My legs have a built in engine that makes me people myself to go faster than normal”

Midoryia and Todoroki were the only ones that stayed quiet. I choose to move on and respect that they didn't want to share.

“That's cool” I said and continued to ask questions throughout the rest of lunch.

…

It was now time for training. The Support class had already made my hero costume while I was enrolling so it was ready to go.

It’s a black skin tight suit with a metal stomach and chest guard that looks like a corset. I had platform combat boots that could change from a rubber soul to a spiky soul for maximum traction on any terrain.

The legs have mesh-like material for breathability and has a holster and sheath for a gun and a dagger. The arms have metal wrist guards and leather gloves with studded knuckles. I also have a leather jacket and a utility belt that holds medical supplies and a pocket knife.

I was the last one out of the locker room since I had a few difficult pieces. As I came out, everyone seemed to gawk at me.

“ Oh my- you look good Y/n” said Mina

“ Stunning” agreed Momo

“ Come to Papa!” yelled a small grape headed boy known as Mineta, as he threw himself in my direction. I dogged him just before he reached me and he landed in a faceplant on the ground. As he got himself up, I threw a nasty glar his way in which he shuddered and ran away screaming “Demon!”

“ Now that you all are here, today's training will be partnered for preparation for the Sports festival. Now listen to your partner aso i don't have to waste my time repeating myself” Mr. Aizawa said tiredly.

“Yaoyorozu you're with Ashido, Midoryia you're with Iida, L/N you're with Todoroki…” he continued to name off my peers and who they would be paired with. Being paired with Todoroki is a bit unsettling considering that he seems to not like me.

“ Begin,” Aizawa said as he zipped himself up in his yellow sleeping bag.

Todoroki took a ready fighting stance as did I. Even though I asked earlier about everyone's quirk, I never got an answer from him so I didn't know what to expect.

We stared at each other for a moment. I realized that he had a glint in his eye, more mischievous if anything. ‘ He’s going to try to pull something,’ I thought as he raised his right hand. He shot out ice, surrounding me in a cold ring of spikes. Making a fist, I quickly raised the rate of the molecules in the ice and brought up the heat, melting it to water.

He looked at me in shock, his gaze looking back and forth from my hand to my face. I then shot out a gust of wind to make him stumble but he stood in place. I made a stronger blow and his right foot moved a bit. I mixed some colder molecules into the wind, making the wind colder, and adding water to the mix, making a snowy blizzard that encased both me and him.

“ What is your quirk?” I heard him ask over the sound of the cold air. I stayed silent as I moved some positive and negatively charged atoms in the ground and sky to line up and make lighting. I sent a small shock of lighting to him, my smile turning to a cold, still expression.

I created a metal-linked chain out of some created atoms from the rusted material around us in the training ground and lassoed him towards me. As he reached me, I let the chain disperse and grabbed his left arm, careful to avoid his right side, and pinned him on the ground face first and arm behind his back.

“ Pinned,” I panted out as I got off of him and lent out my hand to him.

“ That was pretty good.” i complemented.

“ Thanks” he said, his expression stoic. As he walked off to the changing rooms.

‘ok , that's just rude, 'I thought to myself as I went into the changing rooms on the other side.

…

“ I’m home,” I said, coming through the front door and into the kitchen where Angie was.

“ How was it?” she asked as she flipped perogies in oil.

“ Tiring” I replied as I grabbed one of the cooked perogies on the top of the pile. Training drained me. If that's what the first years are doing, then I don't know if i can handle the third year work, much less at the same time as first year work.

I finished my pierogi and started up the stairs to my room. “ I’m going to bed, thanks for the food,” I said to Angie as I reached the top. I heard her mumble something but since she was down stairs, it was muffled. I finally reached my room and opened the door sluggishly. I drug my feet across the floor and plopped myself face first into my comforting bed.

“Ugh” i exaggerated.

“ I'm so tired, I could sleep for weeks” I grasped a pillow and snuggled my face into it. Slowly, I felt myself go into a nice and quiet slumber.

kinda long oops

doing laundry together in comfortable silence, an 80s song playing softly in the background while the two of you are folding the dry clothes to put away. its summer and a warm breeze drifts in through the open window. he looks over at you, noting the way you bobbed your head to the song playing, humming and a smile spread across his face before leaning towards you and pressing a kiss to the top of your head

he was tired and the apartment was dark. he looked around hearing soft breathing in the living room and saw you at the dinner table, face lit up by the candle that was about to burn up. you waited for him and he exhaled, feeling his chest tighten as he walked over and slowly lifted you in his arms, telling you to go back to sleep when you lifted your head, groggily welcoming him home.

kissing you goodbye before heading outside and down the apartment complex stairs only to realise he’s forgotten his lanyard and rushing back up, knocking furiously on the door. he opens it up to you smiling and holding what he came back to get. you shake your head and kiss him again. he would never tell you but he forgets things on purpose just to see your smile and have an excuse to feel your lips atop his once more.

having his head in your lap after spending the day together and you cleaning his ear, gently swabbing as he lays there, listening to you tell him about whatever show you watched the past week. he’s quiet, laying still, looking at the setting sun outside the window before glancing back up at you and whispering softly that he loves you

him massaging your back after you come home from a particularly draining day, listening to you complain about your coworkers and your boss, noting the way your voice slowly starts trailing off before eventually being replaced by a yawn and light breathing. he laughs and looks at you curled up beside him and presses a kiss to the top of your head

okay, i feel like you would have met at the training camp. you know, that day where they were supposed to cook for the resort’s patrons? that one. your family actually is a good friend of dojima gin so you frequented the resort a lot. and when he told you guys about the yearly training camp, of course, you had to go.

you separated from your parents who allowed you to roam the halls of hall b, excited to try the dishes made by the totsuki students that you know are some of the best chefs (i mean, they did pass the entrance exam, so,,,) your eyes locked with a guy who smiles at the children who gathered around him to try his dish. you thought he was cute so his booth was the first one you approached. from there, you instantly fell in love with his cooking and showered him with praises as he got flustered from it. noticing how he needs to get done, you wrote your number on a piece of paper, handing it to him, and said goodbye.

after the training camp, he texted you, although hesitantly, and you immediately asked if you could meet over coffee. you two would click instantly, sharing some passions except for cooking. he laughed at you when you told him you burnt an egg one time while you jokingly pouted at him for teasing you. he likes cooking for you because he sees how you really liked the dish, and he loves it when you visit totsuki, seeing as you aren’t from there, because he likes trying things with you.

Tsukasa Eishi

he probably knew you through rindou,, who brought you to the moon banquet festival and made you go with her as she tried every booth there, and of course, she went to tsukasa’s as well. like his usual attitude, he would fret over whether you’re feeling okay because rindou introduced you as someone important and tries to shy away from you.

he knew he wanted to date you when you didn’t mind his nervousness and strike up a conversation with him like you’re two long lost friends. he noticed how he doesn’t fret that much in front of you for the next few days of the festival, and asks why you’re not in totsuki. you couldn’t cook? no problem, he already figured in his mind that he wants to cook for you

when you became his s/o, expect homecooked meals delivered to your home <33 your parents are just as confused as you when a lot of people were at your house, telling you that you have a delivery and then a lot of food were placed on your table. i feel like eishi would try and lighten up in front of you but you always know he’s stressed so you ask him to explain some dishes to you just to let his mind wander over somewhere else.

Isshiki Satoshi

he probably met you at the polar star dormitory when you visited your aunt, fumio-san, and it was very awkward. he opened the door, thinking it was one of the first years, but then was met by you who subtly tried to not look down but failed. he laughed, apologized, and told you where fumio is. he liked seeing you all nervous and that especially when fumio said that you should visit more.

and you did!!! and isshiki looks forward every time until he got the courage to actually ask you out. he learned that you don’t really cook, in fear of burning things or setting them on fire, and he promised to cook for you one of these days and he did, clad in nothing but his apron. it took some time to get used to him just wearing a piece of clothing barely there to cover his junk

as his s/o, you were subjected to physical touch with just a thin piece of clothing separating you and him,,,, it did make you feel weird at first and he respected that but when you got into almost a year, you were more than comfortable to him just being in his boxers or morning clothes from gardening as he sidles up to you for a hug. fun fact: he tried to teach you to cook but you almost burned the polar star dormitory so you were now banned in the kitchen, ouch

Takumi Aldini x Childhood Friend! Reader:

The two of you along with takumi’s brother isami, lived in Italy, in particular Florence, for all of your childhood.

It was a beautiful place, and you where honestly a little bit sad to see the two brothers go off too Japan for cooking training.

But it’s all right because your parents sent you too, and you quickly realized that the school you are going to go to is literally hell in earth.

Thankfully you where put into the same cooking class as the brother so that you had some mental stability first day.

But that same luck can’t be applied for where your dorm was, you were in polar star.

You thought everyone there was preset nice, and had cool specialties, except you never got accustomed to the vent thing isshiki does.

Everything was going normally until takumi found out that you were dorm mates with his self proclaimed rival Soma, which was quite interesting.

Both of the two were very confused when they found out you knew the other.

It’s kinda funny since after that both of the two try to get dirt on the other through you, like inside intel. Every time they ask you disagree.

Takumi and you definitely make time to meet up and hang out together though. And you two definitely watch cheesy Italian movies as well, along with mafia ones.

Practicing Italian cooking styles, and Mediterranean dishes together.

Ranting in Italian to each other just to mess with everyone.

Overall, it’s nice to have a friend that cares about your honor so much, and his family, it’s really refreshing.
