masterlist              add yourself on my taglist!
It all happened so quickly. You felt yourself on the edge of release when he said the three words you swore to never say to each other.
“I love you.”
Time stopped. He stopped thrusting into you, and you laid frozen underneath him.
No, it’s not possible. He couldn’t love you. He can’t say that. Why would he say that? Only to hurt you more?
Truthfully, you had fallen for Tom a long time back but never confessed it to anyone. He was your best friend, your shoulder to lean on, your fuck buddy.
“W-What?” You muttered, breaking the silence.
“I-I...” he was shaking above you, “I said nothing.” He pulled out of you, not giving you a second glance. “I should go.”
Without hesitance, Tom quickly slipped his clothes back over his glistening skin and left your flat, leaving you alone to grieve. You could hear the door click only a minute after he got off of you.
Tears slipped through your tightly shut eyes. Your breath hitched as you gasped for air. Sobs racked through your body.
“Why?” You whispered to yourself. Gradually, your voice grew louder until you were shouting, “Why? Why? Why? Why?!” Calming down, you laid limp in bed, naked, “How could you do that to me, Tommy. I love you. How could you play with my feelings like that?”
-
Tom wasn’t taking the situation well either. On the drive back to his flat, his thoughts were filled with the broken look on your face when he had said those three words. He practically saw the light drain from your eyes.
You were a naturally cheerful person. Whenever someone felt down, you were always there to show them the bright side of things. Anybody could rely on you to make their day better. It was on the rarest of rare occasions would you ever cry and look down.
Seeing the pain, sadness, and anger on your face felt like a stab at his heart. Out of all people, he was the one to hurt you the most.
-
“Oh, Tommy,” you ran into Tom’s arms, palms digging into your eye-sockets. “How could I’ve been such an idiot? All of you were right! He was fooling me to impress another girl! I was just a pawn in his game,” you cried, arms wrapping around Tom’s torso to pull him close.
“Y/N/N, you are not an idiot. He’s the idiot for using you. You are the most beautiful person I’ve ever met, inside and out. If he can’t see how precious you are, then he doesn’t deserve to see you at all.
Who cares about this other girl anyways? She couldn’t possibly be as amazing as you are. Besides, who is this girl? Stop crying. You’re wasting your tears on two idiots,” Tom spoke harshly, but his eyes gleamed with affection.
“I’ve never seen or met the girl before, but I know what she looks like. She’s actually very pretty. I wouldn’t stand a chance against her, after all, she’s the embodiment of perfection. I’m- I’m avera-” Tom cut you off.
“Don’t you even think about finishing that sentence. You are not average! She is not the embodiment of perfection because you are! Can’t you see? You are ten times the person than she is,” he softly smiled at you.
“Thank you, Tommy. Thank you for being here for me. You always know how to cheer me up,” your arms remained wrapped around hiss muscular torso.
“Always. I’ll always be here for you.”
“Do you promise to never hurt me, no matter what?” You looked right into his chocolate brown eyes, searching for honesty.
“I promise I’ll never hurt you.”
-
“I can’t leave her now. She needs my support, no matter what. I said I’ll always be there for her, so I will keep to that promise,” Tom said to himself, turning the car around.
He sped back, hoping you didn’t hate him now. He couldn’t get the thought of you hurting out of his mind, which encouraged him to not bail on his new idea.
As soon as he saw the entrance to your flat, he unbuckled his seatbelt before parking randomly. He ran towards your door and banged on the door. Now, he could only wait and hope for a response.
-
You heard a loud pounding on your door and jumped.
Who could be knocking at your door this late at night?
The pounding was consistent. You had a feeling they wouldn’t be giving up anytime soon, so you grabbed your small can of pepper spray and headed towards the entrance of your home.
“Who is it?” You asked, peaking through every nook and cranny for clues.
“Who do you think?” The familiar English accent filled your ears.
“Go away,” tears resurfaced in your eyes.
“No. You need me right now, I’m not going to leave you until you open this door and I see you are fine,” he demanded.
You hesitated for a moment, hand resting on the door knob, “F-Fine, but you are leaving right after that.”
“Let’s let fate unravel itself. Open this door, now,” he muttered the beginning to himself.
Groaning, you pulled the door open, pepper spray still in hand in case it was a creepy stalker. Luckily, it was actually Tom. His brown curls was a mop on his head with stray hairs sticking out of his hairdo.
As soon as your eyes met his, tears rolled down your cheeks.
-
The moonlight was reflected by your tears. Tom noticed the tears and pulled you into him.
“Get off! I’m fine,” you sobbed into his shirt.
It hurt him to see you lying to him even though you were obviously in pain. You always trusted him. And he always trusted you.
If only he could take back those three horrid words. Oh, how one phrase can ruin it all.
“I’m fine. Let go of me,” you sniffled, fists banging into his chest.
“Stop, I know you’re not fine. I hurt you, and I’m sorry,” he sighed, holding you even closer.
-
He lied to you. He broke his promise.
“I promise I’ll never hurt you.”
And now, he’s broken another promise.
“I promise I’ll never say those three words to you, unless as a joke.”
You weren’t hurting because he broke this promise, though. You were hurting because he said it as a joke. In such an intimate moment, he chose to say those words half-heartedly to you.
You couldn’t handle it anymore. You couldn’t handle him toying around with your unannounced feelings.
-
“You know I love you, right? Not as the goofy little girl I met back in kindergarten or as my long time best friend but as a partner. I love you, and I’ve loved you for a while now. I know I’m breaking our rules, but I can’t hold back anymore. I’ve fallen for you,” Tom confessed into your hair.
The tears in your eyes reduced. You couldn’t believe your ears.
“You what?” You asked in disbelief.
“I love you, Y/N M/N L/N, from the very bottom of my heart.”
“I-I love you, too, Tommy,” you were looking up at him now, “I’ve been in love with you ever since we were in year 8 at school.”
“If this is a dream,” he leaned his forehead on yours, “I never want it to end.”
“It’s not a dream, Tom,” you lifted your chin and inched your lips towards his.
Gently, your lips attached. Your arms wrapped around his neck, and one his hands caressed your cheek while the other rested on the small of your back. This kiss was different from any you shared from before. This was passionate and filled with love, unlike the others: rough and full of lust.
You pulled away, gasping for air, “Why did we have that arrangement in the first place?”
“I did it because I thought it was the closest I would ever get to a relationship with you,” Tom blushed, laughing nervously.
“Funnily enough, I’m pretty sure that’s why I agreed, too,” you giggled.
“I’m so sorry for hurting you, love. I should be keeping you out of harms way instead of being the harm. Please forgive me,” he begged, pouting his lips and shining his bright, wide eyes at you.
“How could I say no to that adorable face?” You bopped the tip of his nose, “I really do forgive you, though.”
“Thank you,” he whispered, “You are the greatest thing to ever happen to me.”

When the day was over, you and Tom returned back to his house. At this point, it was kind of obvious that you had forgiven him for the misunderstanding with Amanda. You saw him deleting her number on the way back home, and you were remembering how he dropped his phone at the store before he kissed you.
God, he kissed you in front of all of those people! The fans, the paparazzi, the director. You're gonna be hearing about that kiss for a long while, you just knew it. Maybe if you guys ever do interviews, it'll be mentioned. That'd be cute.
As soon as you got home, Tom seemed to close the front door rather quickly so he could pull you into a deep kiss, kind of pinning you up against the nearest wall. You blushed, but kissed him back with your arms wrapping around his neck. He pulled back after a moment, connecting your foreheads with a warm smile.
"So you forgive me?.." He asked, getting a soft nod from you.
"I hope you forgive me, too.." You admitted with a small smile.
"Oh, you have nothing to be sorry for, my dear.." Tom replied. "I was..a bloody moron. I should've just told her off from the beginning.."
"I still snapped at you. I didn't really let you explain yourself.." You muttered somewhat.
"You had every right to be angry with me. Every right." He spoke. "But I promise you, it'll just be us now. You and me."
"You and me?.." You repeated, your cheeks pink a bit. "Still beneficially, yeah?"
Tom paused for a moment, giving you a warm smile.
"I would...prefer to give it a more...intimate label." Tom admitted. "I really wish for this to be the real thing."
That was a little surprising to hear, but it made your chest feel all warm.
"R-Really?" You asked, your eyes visibly sparkling.
"Truly.." Tom smiled at you. "The world already knows about us. It's perfect timing, really."
"I like the way you think.." You purred, getting a little grin from him before he'd lean in to connect your lips in a passionate, yet soft kiss. You loved the feeling of his lips on yours.
"I guess that makes you all mine, then?" You asked, holding on to the collar of his shirt somewhat.
"Mhmm...you get all of me.." Tom purred.
"...and speaking of all of me...I've got a surprise for you."
Tom got his shoes off, giving a 'one moment, wait here' kind of gesture before moving down the hall and to his room. You smiled as he left, eager to see what this 'surprise' was. You were trying to guess if you already knew what he's up to.
You put some of your stuff on the living room table. You know he said to stay where you were, but you figured moving to the living room wasn't so bad. You gently sat down on the couch with a soft sigh, a couple more minutes going by before you'd hear Tom slowly and quietly leave his room.
You turned your head to look at him, your cheeks immedietly going red.
The wig.
The Loki wig.
He put it on. He put it on flawlessly.
While he didn't have one of those big and complicated looking pieces of Asgardian armor on, he did have on a full black suit, similar to the one in Ragnarok.
Oh God.
He looked so good.
"Oh my God.." You let out a chuckle as you stood up. It was a somewhat nervous chuckle. He looked really good.
"I always look good, pet.." Tom spoke with a charming smile, making his voice just slightly lower to sound like Loki. Oh God, now he's getting in character.
"Oh my God, don't.." You chuckled again. "Don't you dare talk to me in character."
"This character is my own, darling.." He grinned at you, slowly approaching you from down the hall. Now that you've gotten to know Tom very well, it's been hard to separate him from his roles, but the way he's looking at you screams Loki. It even looked like there was more green in his eyes while in character.
"You're being ridiculous.." You crossed your arms with a big smile, getting him to finally break character with a little chuckle leaving him.
"Is it too much?" He asked, his soft tone returning. "I haven't even touched you."
"It's..." You paused and bit the corner of your lip, taking the time to really look him over. You adored this Midgard Loki look when you first saw it. He looks so damn good in that suit.
"It's...just new to me.." You admitted, letting your hands rest at your side. "But I think I can go with it.."
Tom gave a charming smile before clearing his throat a bit, stretching his shoulders slightly as he felt himself get back into character.
His softness was set aside for Loki, once more.
"Today has been a long day for you, I bet.." the tall male with raven locks spoke, stepping closer until he was about right in front of you. He held one of his hands out to you. "Come. I think you deserve a bit of a break, mm? I can massage your shoulders and your back, if you wish.."
"Oh? Were you a trained masseuse in Asgard?" You asked with a slight confident tone, getting a little snicker from the male.
"I've been trained in many things, pet.." He purred. "But there are just some things I am naturally Talented at.."
"And those are?..." You smirked, crossing your arms again in a slight defensive manner. He was very intimidating this way, but you liked the feeling it gave you.
"Stabbing...lying.." Loki smirked, leaning down somewhat to you, his nose getting quite close to touching yours.
"...satisfying the needs of others.."
"Is that so?" You grinned a bit, tilting your head as he inched closer and closer.
"Mhmm.." He hummed lowly as he gazed into your eyes before slowly closing the gap between you two, your lips connecting. You've kissed these lips before, but it somehow felt different this time. You weren't kissing Tom right now. You were kissing Loki.
God, that's still hard to think about. He's a damn good actor.
After a moment, he pulled back, one of his hands moving up to caress your cheek. His skin tone looked oddly pale, now that you were getting a close look. Had he put on makeup, or was he always this pale?
"Perhaps if you're willing...I could show you.." He whispered lowly, his eyes locked on you, never leaving yours.
"You think you can satisfy me?.." You asked in a soft tone, getting a charming smile from him.
"Oh, I know I can.." He purred quietly. "This whole bloody neighborhood will know I satisfy you just fine.."
His voice and his choice of words were nearly making you shiver on the spot. He could see your rising heat through your eyes, and you were even panting slightly.
The male's hand moved from your cheek, his thumb slowly and softly caressing your soft lips. He never broke eye contact and he never broke character. This was such an exciting feeling.
Keeping your eyes on him, you moved your head slightly forward to let his thumb slip into your mouth, seeing his eyes flare up as you sucked on his thumb. There was something oddly arousing about doing something like that. You weren't sure how to explain it, but man did you love his reaction.
You slowly let his thumb slip out of your thumb after a moment, seeing a mischievous grin brown on the male's lips.
"Oh, you're not walking to work tomorrow.." He growled before suddenly picking you up, hoisting you over his shoulder. You let out a soft laugh as he carried you out of the living room and down the hall, heading to his room.
This is gonna be a whole new experience.
You're not about to sleep with Tom.
You're about to sleep with Loki.
