Instagram is such a gross place XD artist or other wise omg. I want to boost out my commissions so I can get a new phone to CONTINUE making commissions as it's starting to die on me. So I posted to an old instagram account, my main, and 3 scam commissioners contacted me with similar prices and "stories" with scam payment options. That and nft bots. GROSS. That is such a gross breeding ground.
Scammers. Dishonesty. The most foulest of comments I've seen others received. And just over all such a negative ass space. Holy shit. That gross. Honestly really foul. Manz is just tryin to make some work here XDD
.... at the time of writing this. I got ANOTHER similar message.
To those who have commissions open and plan to post and boost them, take this as example.
These are all SCAMS. Do not accept anythinf from them. Sure. That money amount is enticing. But this is a SCAM. They typically lead you into a conversation of downloading a REALLY sketchy ass money transfer app or website that literally no ones heard of.
Such conversations I've had. End like this.
Please, if you're new to commissioning or a younger artist. Please watch out for these signs. Typically scams will have a mass amount of money, espcially if they havent looked as your pricing sheet, ask "for my son" or it's about a pet. Typically a dog or cat. Please stay safe and dont be fooled. Instagram, tumblr, ect. It's all the same. Do be careful.
There are good commissionees. Please dont take this as amisunderstanding. Just be careful of who you do accept. [This is also not to say all of instagram is bad. I have a few lovely mates here. But be mindful of who you talk to. No matter the platform. Dont get scammed ♡]

Coming back here from Instagram is so weird… it’s like I have to remind myself that we don’t have stories on here so I’m not clogging up timelines by reposting and sharing WIPS, thoughts or other silly things. People just share what they like here and add their comments.
The support I get from sharing work in progresses alone is fueling me to want to actually continue making art that I have to put effort into. It’s so rewarding to spend hours on something, share it to a platform thinking people would scroll past and getting notifs saying people are REPOSTING AND ADDING TAGS?!? it’s so. Much. Better. Than Instagram.
I’ve been on Insta for 7 years. I feel more support in the past 24 hours on this app than I have in the past year on Instagram.

So I might start posting more on here because Instagram’s new update with the hashtags has pretty much threw away my chances of getting and sort of good reaction to my posts. I relied mostly on hashtags when I posted and now I barley get any interaction than what I used to. Instagram is dumb as shit I swear to god
Recently, Instagram has taken down one of my posts for "going against their community guidelines". Which is straight up bullshit. It ain't violating shit.
The video, which they found as "hate speech" and "problematic" is this:

It's a stupid ass joke where it mocks people who hate on men or women.
It is literally taken out of context.
The only thing they found problematic about the video is apparently the phrase "I hate all men". BRUH and then they go on to say, that they did a "review".
Dude. It's part of the joke. The video as a whole is not meant to be taken seriously. How is it hate speech again??
And I obviously requested them to review it again.
That didn't do shit as you can see. It is so frustrating. All of this happened because of the stupid ass joke video that I decided to post with my drawing.
After all of that, I wrote to them an appeal:

This is absolutely ridiculous. Instagram has been a pain in the ass lately. I just wanna post my stupid artworks. I don't wanna deal with shit like this. I really hope they bring back my post and I hope it never happens again because it could deactivate my account :/
But please tell me what you think. I am really in the wrong here?? It seems so unfair to me. Feedback would be greatly appreciated! :(
