Author’s Original Notes: I haven't been able to see the movie version yet, so I can only satisfy my cravings by listening to the voice actors' recitation of the plot > < (But the recitation is really great!)
When I saw Tanjirou say this line, it really felt like something he would say >w<
And in the "Infinity Train" arc, there's Tanjirou's validation of Inosuke's boss status, which makes me imagine if they had any small conversations like that between them haha >w< !

Poor cinnamon roll Tanjirou, despite being so young, he carries a heavy burden that few can truly understand and empathize with. It's heartbreaking to see the sadness in his gentle eyes, knowing the tragedies he's already experienced and will continue to face.
Thankfully, Boss Inosuke is there to look after his Underling #1! I love how he confidently declares himself as the boss, yet feels warm and fuzzy and blushes when he realizes that Tanjirou truly agrees with him. It's heartwarming to see how Inosuke makes Tanjirou feel secure, and this comic portrays it beautifully. Also, Tanjirou's blushing in that last panel too (⁄ ⁄>⁄ω⁄<⁄ ⁄)⁄.

INOTAN WEEK 2023!!!

Since no one else is doing it as far as I know, I am deciding to host an Inotan Week for 2023!!!! I came up with the prompts all myself and of course, this is open to any and all art forms, whether it's stories, drawings, moodboards, etc.!!! And there's no restriction on genre or rating or anything like that, either!!
Inotan week is from October 24th-30th, but if anyone wants to use this list outside of those dates, then go ahead!!

this is Part 1
TANJIRO KAMADO
Tanjiro had just gotten back from a mission up in the cold snow capped mountains.
He was so pale and so cold.
You already had made Kelp Rice Balls for him for dinner but Soba looked more better for him.
You instantly had Tanjiro go to bed, Much to his dismay.
He wanted to cuddle you, love you!
But you flatly refused!
Poor boy...
"darling- I just want to hold you please?" Tanjiro whined.
You looked over and saw him trying to get off of the shikibuton.
"Tanjiro- please, you need to rest! you are too cold!" You said.
He reached to grab you, but he fell weak on the ground.
A horrible cough left his throat.
"Tanjiro!" you went straight to his side.
"Can I hold you now please?" he weakly asked.
"after you eat your soba, I don't care if I have to feed you myself" You said sternly, he smiled, "alright"
ZENITSU AGATSUMA
let me tell you.
if this boy woke up with food poisoning (mostly because of Inosuke) he'd beg you for attention, love and care.
but if he returned back from a mission deathly cold and shivering his ass off...
he'd still beg for attention, love and care.
this man BEGS for TLC, and if he's sick? the whining is SOOOOOO much worse.
he'll accept all your lectures about: How to avoid Inosuke's horrible cooking
or: how to put more damn clothes on to avoid getting a cold!
"gorgeous! please! I need your love!" He begged.
"NO! you need to learn how to not- get off of me! I'm trying to be mean!" you groaned as he gripped onto you tightly.
"You cant be mean to me! I didn't mean too I promise!" he cried.
You groaned as he gripped onto you tighter.
"Please! I promise I wont do it again! I'm sorry! please just comfort me!" he sobbed loudly.
you finally gave in and comforted him for the rest of the night and the next day.
INOSUKE HASHIBIRA
this boy REFUSED to admit he was unwell until he ended up being put in Shinobu's medical wing.
he refused to allow you to see his face.
the Boar head stayed on.
It took Shinobu threatening him to let him show you his face.
and oh dear- he wasn't sick.
he was stabbed.
he had time to move his organs around.
which was the only good thing.
"Inosuke- you need to look after yourself more!" you said with teary eyes.
"I'm totally fine!" he said, he coughed and blood splattered all over the white sheets.
"INOSUKE!" you exclaimed.
"I'm fine! stop yelling in my ear ok?! I need to recover! that's what bug eyes said!"
You gripped his hand "I thought I would lose you" You sobbed.
he weakly held you hand.
"I'll be ok, Bug Eyes said I'll recover soon and be home soon- I'll be home soon" he whispered.
GIYUU TOMIOKA
THIS MAN! HE REFUSES TO BE SICK! HE REFUSES ATTENTION! HE REFUSES EVERYTHING!!!
which frustrates you beyond belief!
he wont even take a stern talking to!
but after pushing you off to the side and being alone for an HOUR
he came up to you begging for cuddles.
poor boy loves your love and wont stop till he gets it!
and even then he still wants more.
"Giyuu? can you loosen your hold? please?" you mutter, trying desperately not to make his head ache worse.
he only gave you a small whine in response before loosening his grip slightly.
he didn't open his eyes, still trying desperately to fall asleep.
you slowly rubbed his back in soothing circles.
Giyuu hummed contently.
"sweetie?" he grumbled, you looked down at him, but he was already sound asleep.

Ive always felt that Demonslayer felt very much akin to studio ghibli in a strange way despite their vast differences, but it got me thinking, what about a princess mononoke as a kny au?
More specifically, Inosuke as princess mononoke (aka san), and Tanjiro as Ashitaka. I mean their personalities already match, with Inosuke being a wild and reckless that is very attune to nature which is exactly what San is like in the movie. Maybe instead of being raised by the wolf gods we could switch it over to being raised by the boar god before it is turned to a demon. Ashitaka is kindhearted like Tanjiro and share the same determination. Maybe the curse that the boar demon gives manifests on his forehead to match the original story instead of his arm.
Of course there would be liberties that would have to be taken to fit other charachters in. Like who would be Lady Eboshi or the forest spirit? Still the worldbuilding is similar in the way that they both have demons and curses.
I mean I just want to see Inosuke and Tanjiro interact in this au. Like imagine;
Inosuke: I'll cut your throat, that will shut you up!
Tanjiro: Your..... beautiful......
or something less classic like;
Inosuke: Thats my mom *gestures at a frothing boar godess*
Tanjiro: ....Uh nice to meet you too.
I mean I feel like they would just be perfect in this au, platonic or not. I could also see other aspects and charachters of kny being princess mononoke and Ashitaka like Kanao and Tanjiro, Muichiro and Genya, Giyuu and Sanemi, Shinobu and Giyuu and heck even Obanai and Mitsuri if you squint.
But still we need more kny Studio Ghibli aus and if you see my vision of Inosuke as princess mononoke (or prince in this au), then you get it.

This is a super cute story of touch-starved Inosuke wanting head pats from Tanjirou. He not only learns from Nezuko, but one-ups her with a heart-shaped garland. Awww! I love Tanjirou's expression when he receives the garland. His gentle eyes are just filled with pure unadulterated surprise and happiness! Inosuke's blushing face when he removes his boar head is so pretty too! The last scene is really heartwarming. Cinnamon roll Tanjirou deserves all the love! And it looks like sneaky Zenitsu swapped Nezuko's garland for his own since her crown has been replaced by his lol.
