Inconjunctions by Sign
Aries-Virgo Inconjunction-
Wanting to do the most for people who didn't ask for it, then ripping away the help when they don't respond like they didn't promise to. Running ahead to hold open doors people had no plan of going through. This inconjunction is one that almost treats relationships as achievement-based, thinking that if they push forward, overachieving, the bond/loyalty will build quicker, but in all that pushing, they tend not to know what direction the other person actually wants to go.
Aries-Scorpio Inconjunction-
The need to defend themselves against threats that weren't made. This is someone who always needs the other person to show their cards first, no matter how much they claim to trust the person they're sitting across. When people come to expect this... distanced love, it puts limitations on the relationship that this inconjunction then doesn't know how to move past, thinking it's something the other person is doing, and letting the relationship die off because they're [protecting] themselves.
Taurus-Libra Inconjunction-
The demand for credit to be given where credit is due. This inconjunction keeps points, holding onto resentment or guilt until the score is exactly even and not letting go until a second before then. This influence is one that takes reason past the point of reason, expecting such exact and specific answers that the grey areas of life have no place in theirs. I think this inconjunction forgets patience isn't always a sign of weakness.

Taurus-Sagittarius Inconjunction-
The mouth with no ears that asks questions increasingly louder until it hears the answer it wants to hear. This inconjunction is so devoted to "the truth" that they forget there's a difference between their personal truth and the actual truth. Technicalities can only ever play in their favor, or else rulebooks and player history gets pulled out, the [truth] of being wrong being that they feel they shouldn't ever be singled out for what "everybody does". Accountability tends to be a one way street here.
Gemini-Scorpio Inconjunction-
The secret that never needed to be kept, an unnoticeable flaw that changes the entire way we approach new people. This inconjunction is one that feels unheard before anyone has the chance to not pay attention. This influence is one that has so much to say about how they feel, but one who won't say a word until they're directly asked about feelings no one knows they have, which can result in accidentally reciprocating the feelings of unfair treatment and exclusion.
Gemini-Capricorn Inconjunction-
The english teacher that disapproves of contractions but can't and won't stop using them themselves. This is the influence that only memorizes the rules enough to list them off for other people not following them. This inconjunction is one that feels like they're pushing the people around them to be the best they can be, but sometimes setting an example has more impact than any overcritical speech that people have heard ten times before.
Cancer-Sagittarius Inconjunction-
The inconsolable need to know, pushing through the closure it needs so it can never say it regrets not finding the answers it said they didn't want before. One whose seen more than most, but only speaks on it in sympathy for others. This inconjunction is one that wishes to be the answer that others never gave them, not necessarily seeking out pain, but being able to charge through it knowing they have more knowledge to bring back to the people they'll think it'll help.
Cancer-Aquarius Inconjunction-
Nobody ever understands someone who never allows them the opportunity to truly understand them, making guesses to fill holes being an insult that was only meant to give voice to a part of us that's never been heard. This inconjunction has feelings no one has ever felt before, but that's mostly because they can't share an experience with someone they're too afraid to expose themselves to, truly risking being the only person who feels the way they do and jumping over that hurdle.
Leo-Capricorn Inconjunction-
The judge that wanted nothing more than to become a doctor one day. This influence is one that's so focused on being known for one thing that their success in any other area means nothing to them, being more critical of their work than anyone else. This inconjunction is one that almost depends on their [purpose], feeling they were debatably somehow brought onto this planet for a specific goal that will destroy them if they don't achieve it. This influence is the tunnel vision that can derail whole lives.
Leo-Pisces Inconjunction-
The cousin who needs you to know they once felt that emotion more than you just did right now, not giving people time before pulling the energy back in the direction they had planned before whatever off schedule chaos ensues. This inconjunction DOES care about other peoples' emotions, but they can forget people don't have as much control-- or ability to detach-- as them. This influence tends to think they're helping by drawing attention away in situations where the spotlight needs to be more direct.
Virgo-Aquarius Inconjunction-
The robot that keeps breaking because it thinks it's found an even more perfect way of doing things, short circuiting trying to push itself past it's limits even after people already said it does better work than they could've ever expected. To this inconjunction, dreams are almost undeniably achievable by anyone willing to work for them, but this is an influence that tends to lack so much respect for the word "no" that even their own body saying it doesn't make them hesitate.
Libra-Pisces Inconjunction-
The artist who repainted pictures in different colors to match their changing mood, the stories that come along with the memories that inspired them changing along with the art itself. This influence is one who reframes their perspective to keep sane. This inconjunction is one who can honestly be very easily caught in a lie, but the reason behind them are almost always about protecting something or someone from the harshness of the truth. Not a justification, but a risk they take to protect the ears of the people they love.

Note
i got a question about inconjunctions do they have any impact on the synastry or composite? like if everything is beautiful in the synastry but there is nothing inconjunctions to someone’s mars sign
Yes, inconjunctions do play an important role in every type of chart!
Inconjunctions are between signs that have 0 in common, for example Sagittarius and Cancer: different modalities, different elements, so even more opppsing energies than a square. You can imagine that the Inconjunction will thus take a permanent commitment to adjusting and learning between two people. Inconjunctions carry the energy of Virgo, so ultimately it's about a constant state of adjusting, micromanaging, learning, thorough understanding and improvement.
Squares can feel more aggressive and inherently can have more noticable tension at the beginning, it's often wanting to butt heads and trying to relase the tension right away, while incojunctions often will make you feel like walking into a glass door - you know there was a door (the differences) but somehow you didn't manage to realize and act on it properly, hoping that next time you'll remember. Incojunctions can be really hard to overcome if both parties are not committed to fixing the issue (Virgo energy).

Inconjunct/Quincunx Signs & the Yod Configuration in a Chart
Tumblr media
When there are planets involved, inconjunct signs essentially form a Yod. In astrology, a Yod, often called the "Finger of God," is a rare and powerful aspect pattern formed by three planets. It resembles an isosceles triangle, with two planets forming a sextile aspect (60 degrees apart) and both quincunxing (150 degrees) a third planet. The inconjunct planet becomes the apex planet of the Yod and represents the focal point of tension and adjustment in a person's life. It is where the energies of the sextile planets converge and manifest in a unique, often challenging way, pushing the individual to address specific issues or life lessons associated with that planet. The apex planet in a Yod serves as a catalyst for personal growth and can indicate a significant life purpose or area of intense focus. The Yod is associated with a sense of fated events, unique challenges, and a compelling need to address a specific purposes or lessons. It symbolizes a pivotal crossroads where individuals are called to make significant choices and spiritual growth, often requiring adjustments and redirection in their life path.

Fertility In Astrology: Observations & Notes 1
Tumblr media
TW// Miscarriages, Infertility, Conception
Disclaimer: This is a general post and not all information will be applicable, if you have any of these placements it does not automatically doom you. I am currently going through my Saturn return and these are observations I have made while knowing multiple friends who struggle with their fertility. This is simply my interpretation of their placements, and patterns that I've noticed.
Sun Sign Synastry matters, and not in the way you may think. Partners who share a sun sign modality (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable) tend to have the easiest time conceiving. Why is this? Our sun sign modality relates to the time of season that we were born, and those who we share a sun sign modality with will typically have the most compatible biorhythms with us, which makes for an easier conception. Note that, these may not always be the most compatible relationships though.
On the other hand inconjunct sun signs have the most difficulty with conception. The couple I know who have had the most trouble with conception are a Gemini and Scorpio sun, the inconjunct can signify being the most out of sync when it comes to biorhythms-- and again, if you and your partner have inconjunct suns it does not mean that you cannot conceive, but you may have a harder time doing so, or it can be a longer journey to having a child-- but it is not impossible
Sun signs that are Trine or Sextile can go either way, but it isn't typically as influential as the other connections
Moon-Mars synastry lives up to its reputation, it is the baby-maker aspect. However, I have noticed that most only focus on the conjunction, but it is equally as potent as the opposition or square, It is the most effective when the woman is the moon and the man is the mars. I have familial generations going back with the Moon opposite Mars synastry that have all resulted in a quick birth of a child.
Saturn in the 5H, so this is the traditional placement of fertility troubles-- and yes, I have known those with this placement to have a miscarriage. However, this placement does not mean that you CANNOT have children, it often more so indicates having difficulties when trying to have a child, and if you have this placement it is better to wait until your Saturn return to have children.
Additionally, a reason I advise those with Saturn in the 5H to wait until their Saturn return to have children is that I have seen many with this placement want children so bad that they go out of their way to do so, all to realize that they do not actually like being a parent. Waiting until after you Saturn return will allow Saturn to show you whether or not you truly even want to be a parent.
Mars in Cancer can signify fertility issues or painful periods in women, I know many women with this placement who have either PCOS or endometriosis.

Astrology Info/Minor aspects part 1. ❀❀❀
Tumblr media
❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀
People do not talk enough about how "Quintiles" - "Bi-quintiles" and "Quincunx/Inconjcunt" are still very powerful and very important too. I don't really know why are they considered minor aspects when they have such a powerful energy 😭.
Quintiles 72°/Bi-quintiles 144° are harmonious aspects kinda like sextiles but their energy comes more easier with a flow of mistery
Example: Ascendant Quintile Mars can give someone a very courageous*flow* and can make someone very attractive/hot
Quincunx/Inconjcunt 150° are very powerful aspects tho they are considered "minor aspects" they can be very powerful, because it shows something you can struggle/didn't reach the full potential yet .
Example "Venus quincunx Ascendant people can struggle with their appearance a lot because they are scared people are gonna judge them". They need to reach the full potential where they don't care about people's opinion anymore and they wear whatever they like.

Minor Aspects
There are several minor aspects in astrology, each with its own unique meaning.
Semisextile (30 degrees): A need to adjust or balance two different energies, a sense of tension or frustration, but also an opportunity for growth and learning.
Quincunx (150 degrees): Also known as the inconjunct. There’s a sense of disconnect or incompatibility between two energies, there’s a need for adjustment or reevaluation in order to achieve greater harmony.
Sesquiquadrate (135 degrees): A sense of tension or conflict between two energies, there’s a need for compromise or balance in order to find greater harmony.
Quintile (72 degrees): Associated with creativity, talent, and unique abilities, there’s a strong potential for success in a particular area, but may also require focused effort and discipline to achieve.
Biquintile (144 degrees): Is similar to the quintile, but with an added emphasis on spiritual or intuitive abilities, there’s a need to tap into one's inner wisdom and guidance in order to achieve success and fulfillment.
Septile (51.43 degrees): Associated with fate, destiny, and spiritual growth, there’s a need to trust in a higher power and to follow one's intuition and inner guidance.
Novile (40 degrees): Associated with new beginnings, fresh starts, and the pursuit of one's goals and dreams, a need to take risks and to be bold and adventurous in order to achieve success and fulfillment.
Decile (36 degrees): This aspect is associated with achievement, success, and mastery, there’s a need to focus one's energy and attention on a particular goal or area of expertise in order to achieve mastery and success.
Undecile (27.27 degrees): Associated with spiritual growth, inspiration, and creativity, a need to tap into one's inner wisdom and intuition in order to find greater meaning and purpose in life.
Duodecile (30 degrees): This aspect is similar to the Semisextile, but with an added emphasis on creative potential and innovation, there’s a need to embrace one's unique talents and abilities in order to achieve success and fulfillment.
Minor aspects are considered less significant than major aspects like conjunctions, squares, and oppositions but they can still provide valuable insights into the nuances and subtleties of a person's astrological chart.

SUN ASPECTING PLUTO
Aspects between the Sun and Pluto bring together the most conscious part of our personalities with the most unconscious part. People with these aspects have a sometimes uncomfortable awareness of the darkness of the human mind
Sun Sextile Pluto: You see yourself as a powerful person, but are not too carried away by any power trips or manipulations. People feel comfortable around you because they can sense that you're not looking for ways to feel better than others, as you feel secure enough in yourself
Sun Opposite Pluto: You are afraid of the power that other people have, so you make sure to play your cards right in your interactions to avoid feeling at a disadvantage. This can lead to behaviours like withholding and acting unbothered to avoid losing that feeling of control. Only those you trust completely get to see the real you
Sun Inconjunct Pluto: If you have this aspect, you are probably quite afraid of owning up to your own power. By denying your own power, however, you also deny yourself the opportunity to accept who you are. The key is in realising that your power comes from within, not external situations. I have this one btw :)
Sun Trine Pluto: You are much more comfortable with your subconscious darkness than most people. You see traumatic situations as opportunities for self-empowerment, and have more than enough strength to recover from difficult periods in life
Sun Square Pluto: Even if everything in your life is going great, you are still left hungry for more and dissatisfied. You find it hard to break out of cycles of personal dissatisfaction because you always feel like there's something 'wrong' with you
Sun Conjunct Pluto: Because you find it so natural to identify with your darkness and trauma, it can be quite difficult for you to let go of negative opinions you have of yourself. You also probably struggle to express yourself in an authentic way, because you think that expressing your personality is only worth it if you can gain a greater sense of personal power from doing it
Thanks for reading ✌️ If you want me to do more aspects please leave a like and comment suggestions

Can you PLEASE help try and understand why I find it so hard to tell if my collegue likes me? He's told me he isn't the one to chase a women and that he would wait for someone who meets his standards to go for him. There's this flirtiness between us and have deep conversations, but I just dont wanna make the first move without more signs..He's a Scorpio Sun, Capricorn Venus, Libra Mars. Help me understand some signs if I should go for it. Im personally a Aries sun, Taurus Venus and Scorpio Mars
You know, that’s really tough.
It’s the ol’ Aries in love with the Scorpio.
I’m an Aries and I was once in love with a Scorpio. We slept around a bunch, but he never relationshipped me, which is what I wanted!
In the end, it was very traumatic.
In synastry, Aries make a Quincunx aspect with Scorpio. It’s when 2 planets are 150degrees apart.
Here is a quote from online:
//“Here’s what makes Quincunxs challenging aspects: “Quincunx have nothing in common, like two irreconcilable notions,” says DeFranco. //
I do think Quincunx is a very hot 🥵 aspect, but it seems like the signs can barely understand each other.
Aries is DIRECT energy. Scorpio is INDIRECT energy. What they have in common is that they’re both ruled by MARS. 🔥 (but Scorpio is also ruled by Pluto in modern astrology)
The only advice I can give you is to tell you about the mistakes I made in my situationship with a Scorpio, since I have never successfully dated one:
1. Don’t insult them. Aries can get this way sometimes. We are hot headed and impatient and we want what we want. And sometimes we do it just to flirt or seem funny. Insults roll off us, so why not them? It will not roll off them. They will hold onto it for eternity. That’s the Pluto in them.
2. Don’t sleep with them. Scorpios are s3xy individuals and they know this. But s3x isn’t what they’re after — they’re looking for a deeper connection. They want soul mate energy. S3x is nothing to them compared to MAKING LOVE! They want to bare their all to someone. They want to feel HELD and CHERISHED. They understand the difference of “just s3x” and they think it’s cheap, even though they indulge in it constantly (double standards). They want to be with someone that they can see themselves starting a family with, so they’re not looking for a loose woman. They test people.
3. Above all else: Be their friend first. You can’t force someone to love you, tragically. But you do have the control to be someone’s friend. Scorpios are terribly misunderstood and more than anything they want that friend they can talk to anything about. Be patient. Give them their space. Go on a nature walk with them. (Pretty sure they enjoy quiet areas with nature). Invite them to hang out and do peaceful things together (since they’re a water sign, they are very sensitive to energies and can’t be around too many ppl for too long). They like to pretend they’re tough, but they’re soft. Way more soft than an Aries can even admit to be.
4. Be vulnerable with them. This is a very challenging thing for an Aries to do — being vulnerable. We spend our whole lives pretending we are TOUGH AS NAILS AND NO ONE CAN HURT US. But we are the babies of the zodiac (the first sign) and we aren’t as tough as we like to think we are. If you have known this guy a long time and are dying to tell him how you feel — just do it! But be completely honest. No jokes to lighten the mood. No insults to seem more macho. Just be vulnerable. Put yourself out there, even if he might break and shatter your heart. Do it anyway. This is the only way to a Scorpios heart. They need to know if you’re just as soft as they are. That makes them feel safe.

I have 4 Yod aspects in my chart, would you be able to give more insight on Yods in general?
Hi! Absolutely, I'd love to.
A short introduction just in case someone else reading this isn't sure what we're talking about here: a Yod is an aspect pattern that consists of two inconjunct aspects (150 degrees) and one sextile aspect (60 degrees). It is formed when two planets are in a sextile aspect to each other and both form an inconjunct aspect to a third planet. I would advise heavily against using points and steroids when looking for a Yod. To take it a step further, I'd only allow personal (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) and social (Jupiter and Saturn) planets and an orb of 2 degrees for the inconjunctions and 4 degrees for the sextile. However, I'll also make some examples with generational planets just so we can get a better feel of this energy.
The formation is a narrow, elongated triangle, with the third planet at the apex of the triangle - this is the "finger" of the Yod and also the focal planet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Yod is a rare and powerful aspect pattern because it involves three planets that are in a complex and dynamic relationship with each other. It's a symbol of spiritual growth and evolution, as it represents a point of tension and challenge that can lead to profound growth and transformation.
Yods are seen as indicators of the soul's evolutionary journey. They are symbols of karmic patterns that need to be resolved in order for the soul to evolve and grow. The placement of the yod in the natal chart will provide further insight into a native's soul purpose and the challenges they need to overcome in order to achieve it.
Example 1: if a native has a Yod involving the Moon, Uranus, and Pluto, it may indicate a need to resolve past life patterns related to emotional (Moon) intensity, rebellion (Uranus), and transformation (Pluto). The challenge would be to find a way to integrate these energies and use them in a positive and constructive way, rather than being overwhelmed by them.
Yods are also symbols of spiritual potential and transformation. They are indicators of a native's spiritual gifts and talents, as well as the challenges they need to overcome in order to fully realize their potential.
Example 2: if a native has a Yod involving the Sun, Neptune, and Pluto, it may indicate a need to develop their spiritual gifts and talents in a way that is aligned with their soul purpose. The challenge would be to overcome any illusions or delusions that may be blocking their path and to use their spiritual gifts in a way that is aligned with their highest good and the good of others.
I talk about all the important configurations in my astrology book btw. It's very affordable and aims to give you all the needed basic skills to understand the foundations of natal astrology.
Interpreting Yods is actually pretty challenging because of the very complex dynamics they involve. Here are two things to consider:
First, it is important to consider the planets involved in the Yod and their placement by sign and house. This will provide valuable insight into the nature of the challenge and the area of life where it is likely to manifest.
Second, it is important to consider the sextile aspect that connects the two inconjunct planets. This can provide insight into the resources and talents that can be used to release the tension and achieve the desired growth and evolution.

Yods [Chart Pattern]
Have a yod in your chart, and you can't figure out how to approach it? Focus towards the sextile! This is where both find common ground in the disagreement with the apex, so pushing them to work together is literally pitting 2 against 1.
Yods consist of 2 inconjunctions and one sextile, usually being known as "the finger of God", seen as a test of your ability to fight against fate. The solution to those world-ending problems lies within the sextile. The fault with reading chart patterns is looking at the entire pattern all at once, you want to start with one aspect at a time, in this case, the inconjunctions, to understand what conflict you're facing due to the apex placement.
So, let's say there's a Yod between a 15° Leo Moon, 15° Pisces Mercury, and a 15° Capricorn Sun. In this case, we'd find a Moon-Mercury and Moon-Sun inconjunction and a Mercury-Sun sextile.
So, one at a time: 15° Leo Moon inconjunct 15° Pisces Mercury 15°- Gemini- communication, writing, publishing This is someone who finds confidence in their ability to write or speak, feeling at home in front of a crowd--but,(inconjunction Pisces Moon), they’re so strongly impacted by the opinions of others that they don't want to say anything unfavorable, specifically anything that would be held against them later on. They think conversations ahead.
Now, for the other inconjunction, the 15° Leo Moon-15° Capricorn Sun: Like we said before, this is someone that finds confidence in making themselves heard, having no problem with the lone act of putting themselves out for the world to see. Inconjunction a 15° Capricorn Sun, this is someone who SO strongly understands their own potential and wants to be known for their abilities that every step needs to be planned out to perfection, because they know they can do it. Anything less than that is nothing. So, what do both inconjunctions tell us? This is somebody that believes in themselves so much that they don't want to slip up and have that be the reason they'll never be able to succeed again. Inconjunction a Pisces Mercury, every connection they make is made with the intention of bettering every person they meet, so when they fail, they feel like they're failing absolutely everyone. Leo Moon, they take it as a complete destruction of their ego.
Then, for the 15° Capricorn Sun-Pisces Mercury sextile: Sextiles show a positive relationship between planets whose potential ends as far as you're willing to run. They're quieter, and they don't demand our attention, but making time to care for them benefits us wholly. So, back to the "Finger of God" comparison, we find that the key is simply belief. Forcing yourself to believe. Removing anything from your life that reminds you that you shouldn't. In this case, a 15° Capricorn Sun/Pisces Mercury, this is someone who needs to push themselves over the edge and see what it feels like to say how they really feel for once. They need to be aware of where they're trying to get with it and focus on where they are right now, using that as inspiration. Instead of living within specific boundaries to benefit from the same comforts other people find to garner support, progress demands that they lead who they have into the future, using results to prove their strength.
With this Yod, you can say as many pretty words as you want, but inaction is a broken promise. Find that same level of fear in what happens if you don't confront this pattern. Finger of God, giving this ignorable frustration attention is the split between two fates. You can continue working within the limitations that this Yod provides, it's irregular Grand Trine shape giving you scrapped semblances of comfort, but you should know that the option for more is there for you. In a way, Yods bring our focus to issues in a way that conditions us to want better, but we have to be able to recognize when old patterns aren't adapting to your current needs. Don't admit you're wrong, prove to yourself that you're wrong.

Hey I really liked your answer regarding the difference between sun opposite moon and square moon. Could you share more about why you consider conjunct the worst in terms of difficult aspects? Love your blog btw!
Hi angel!! Thank you SO much, that means so much to me!! I'm so happy you enjoy my content and I hope I can start putting out more content again <3
For anyone who didn't see the ask on squares vs oppositions but may be interested, it's here!
So I consider inconjunct/quincunx the toughest to deal with out of all the harsher aspects, not conjunct aspects, just for clarification! I don't consider conjunct aspects to be easy nor difficult, I find they're more neutral depending on what else is going on with the planets involved!
A lot of people would probably disagree, as many astrologers still dismiss the quincunx as a minor aspect and say it's impact is less than that of a square or opposition - but I very firmly disagree lol. In my years of studying other's charts and how they manifest, as well as my own chart (which has squares, oppositions and quincunxes) - I think the quincunx is the most difficult (although I think Square aspects are a very, very close second). For reference, the following signs are inconjunct/quincunx:
Aries: Virgo, Scorpio
Taurus: Libra, Sagittarius
Gemini: Scorpio, Capricorn
Cancer: Sagitarrius, Aquarius
Leo: Capricorn, Pisces
Virgo: Aquarius, Aries
Libra: Pisces, Taurus
Scorpio: Aries, Gemini
Sagittarius: Taurus, Cancer
Capricorn: Gemini, Leo
Aquarius: Cancer, Virgo
Pisces: Leo, Libra
The following signs are Square:
Aries: Cancer, Capricorn
Taurus: Leo, Aquarius
Gemini: Virgo, Pisces
Cancer: Libra, Aries
Leo: Scorpio, Taurus
Virgo: Sagittarius, Gemini
Libra: Capricorn, Cancer
Scorpio: Aquarius, Leo
Sagittarius: Pisces, Virgo
Capricorn: Aries, Libra
Aquarius: Taurus, Scorpio
Pisces: Gemini, Sagittarius
The following signs are Opposite:
Aries & Libra
Taurus & Scorpio
Gemini & Sagittarius
Cancer & Capricorn
Leo & Aquarius
Virgo & Pisces
The main reason I consider the inconjunct aspect to be the most harsh, more so than opposite/square aspects is that the inconjunct signs often have very little in common. No common element, no common modality. Square & opposite signs are from the same modality (fixed/cardinal/mutable) so they tend to have a lot of underlying similarities regardless of how different they are on the broader spectrum! As different as Sagittarius and Virgo are, they both carry a lot of the same inherent mutable traits (always learning/loving learning, flexible/frequently changing, etc). There's an easier potential for opposite and square signs to find a balance, because they just naturally have a lot more common ground.
Meanwhile, look at an inconjunct pair such as Scorpio and Gemini. There is very, very little in common with these two energies. They both are investigative, dramatic; but that's about as far as you'll get. You have mutable air and fixed water. Scorpio is intense, obsessive, overbearing. Gemini is flaky, non-committal, and distant [sorry for using the negative traits for both - it just highlights the differences best here lol]. Another example is Taurus and Sagittarius. Taurus craves and needs stability, routine; they are nostalgic and romantic. Sagittarius hates conformity and stagnation - they need frequent and often dramatic change, they dislike routine, and tend to not be sentimental whatsoever. Trying to list out similarities between inconjunct pairs will take you much longer, and result in a much shorter list, than if you were to list out similarities between square or opposite sign pairs.
If someone is a Sagittarius Sun with a Taurus Moon, their ego and personality (Sun) is at complete odds with their emotions and needs/comfort (Moon). Their Sun wants to travel the world, make new friends, speak their minds, act on impulse and last minute notice. Their Moon is cautious and a homebody; and would rather think things over for a long time before speaking and acting. To satisfy their Sun, they betray their Moon; and vice versa. It's not easy to balance these things, and some would say it's more about learning to compromise within yourself rather than finding a balance like you would with an opposition aspect.
Another example of inconjunct signs: When a Scorpio Venus falls in love, it takes a VERY long time to fall and even longer to accept and admit the feelings. Gemini Venus falls in love so fast, sometimes daily lol, and they usually don't have much issue in admitting it. They're very expressive and open in their affection, whereas Scorpio Venus is reserved and it can be hard for them to show it openly/in abundance. Gemini Venus can also get over relationships and friendships very fast, Scorpio Venus gets their heart broken hard and can take years and years to recover from a relationship that Gemini Venus would probably get over in a month or two. With finance, Scorpio Venus tends to hoard - they tend to build their savings accounts very high, work hard to earn and save their money, probably into investing/etc. Gemini Venus doesn't hoard - they're extremely generous with their money and have a "I'll just buy whatever I want, I can always earn the money back" mindset.
To list the similarities between a Gemini and Scorpio Venus.... would be very scarce. Comparing a Scorpio Venus instead to their opposite (Taurus Venus), we would see an abundance of similarities; the two actually work great together and have a lot in common. Looking at Scorpio Venus' square counterparts (Leo Venus/Aquarius Venus) we'd see a lot more differences than the opposition pairing, but still more similarities than the inconjunct pair - because at the end of the day, Leo/Aqua are also fixed signs and can relate to the intensive nature of Scorpio Venus to an extent. Mind you, they aren't great matches synastry-wise, and I wouldn't say these Squares are easy to deal with whatsoever! Just ""easier"" than an inconjunct, in my opinion.
I really enjoy cafeastrology's description regarding a Sun-Moon inconjunct/quincunx aspect, I recommend reading their entire article on the quincunx aspect here. Here's a piece of the article that I find immensely accurate, as someone with a Sun-Moon quincunx myself:
When the native expresses his or her will (Sun), he or she feels vaguely insecure, as the emotions don’t “back up” the will. When the native expresses his or her needs (Moon), the ego balks. Indecisiveness is the result, as well as a tendency to be quite unfocused, tense, on edge, and largely unsettled. The native needs to work on accepting both the Sun and the Moon in his or her personality in order to feel whole and to avoid sabotaging relationships and life goals with self-defeating attitudes.
So basically, TL;DR, I consider inconjunct/quincunx the most difficult of aspects due to a complete lack of common ground. It's hard to balance the energies when they aren't even on the same scale. In my own experience, working on healing and dealing with my inconjunct aspects has been worlds more difficult than working on healing and balancing my opposition and square aspects.

Minor Aspects

Mars square/inconjunct Venus is a complete bust of a synastry aspect. So much chemistry and tension until you realize that it's not just that you're not on the same page. You guys aren't even reading the same book. In fact you might be reading a book and they're listening to a podcast. All the mystery and tension is caused by the fact that you have no idea just how much you genuinely have no idea wtf the other person is doing or is about.
Edit: I may feel this way due to the fact that my Venus and Mars are sextile natally and so therefore have an expectation for that level of chill straightforwardness all the time. Best mars venus synastry aspects I've had have been the trine and the conjunction, even in friendships.

#QUINCUNX: IT'S MORPHING TIME! © cursedbyastro 2022 - all rights reserved
another part of the minor aspect series. think of the quincunx/inconjunct as the "bob the builder" aspect of the minor aspect. it requires you to make changes, adjustments, and adaptions for deeper understanding and growth much like other "harder" aspects ✮
a quincunx, also known as an inconjunct, is an aspect formed when two celestial bodies are approximately 150 degrees apart from each other
the quincunx aspect is complex and nuanced and can be considered a challenging or tension-producing aspect
the celestial bodies involved in a quincunx aspect are usually in different elements (fire, earth, air, and water) and modalities (cardinal, fixed, and mutable).
the easiest way to find which signs are quincunx to each other is to locate your opposite zodiac sign and then look at the two signs that are adjacent to that opposite sign. for example, taurus' opposite sign on the zodiac wheel is scorpio. so whatever celestial bodies are in taurus in your birth chart can be quincunx to whichever planets are in libra (the sign before taurus) or sagittarius (the sign after taurus).
this means that the energies represented by the two celestial bodies do not naturally blend well together and can create a sense of dissonance or discomfort.
signifies a need for adjustment and adaptation between the two energies involved. the quincunx demands that you morph. requires the individual to make adjustments and adaptations in order to resolve the tension between the energies of the involved planets.
this process can be difficult and may require significant self-awareness and flexibility.
can sometimes represent areas of life where an individual may have blind spots or difficulties in recognizing the issues that need to be addressed.
these challenges may not be as apparent or straightforward as with oppositions or squares, making it harder for the individual to confront and resolve them.
despite the challenges associated with the quincunx aspect, it can also lead to personal growth and development.
navigating the tensions and adjustments required by a quincunx, they can develop a greater understanding of themselves and their life circumstances
leaning into creativity and opening your mind and heart to open your heart to understanding can also help
recognizing and integrating the disparate energies represented by the planets involved, individuals can learn to harness the positive qualities of both celestial bodies, leading to a more balanced and harmonious expression of their energies.
an example for how this aspect can be played out as answered in this ask!
an example in this of this in synastry is venus quincunx sun. the venus person may struggle to understand or appreciate the sun person's unique sense of self, while the sun person may feel that their creativity and individuality are being stifled or misunderstood by the venus person's romantic or aesthetic preferencesthis can create a sense of unease or discomfort in the relationship, particularly in terms of communication and self-expression. the venus person may feel that they are not getting the attention or appreciation they desire, while the sun person may feel that their need for self-expression is being overshadowed by the venus person's desire for harmony and beauty. however, with conscious effort and communication, this aspect can also lead to growth and transformation in the relationship. by acknowledging and working through these differences, both individuals can learn to appreciate and support each other's unique expressions of self and creativity, leading to a deeper and more fulfilling connection

Hi! I've been following your posts and how you described Leo Risings really resonated with me.
I was wondering what you think of Venus Inconjunct Mars in a synastry?
My person and I are very comfortable with each other but it seems there has been some hiccups in the intimacy department. Though we have Moon conjunct Mars. 🥲
If this is not allowed to ask, I'm sorry in advance.
The inconjunction is as tense as the opposition or the square could be, only it is not usually given enough importance because it is a minor aspect.
When an inconjunction between Venus-Mars in a synastry happens, it can cause this feeling of not being very compatible or having very different ways of having sex. I don't think it's something so strong to end a relationship, because there may be multiple aspects that calm this feeling.
Beyond telling you something astrological, I recommend that you talk about it personally with your partner. You can have a talk about how to improve your relationship and how to feel more comfortable with each other, it could help you a lot. Share your preferences and what you don't like, if you want to try new things you can also say so.
