Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday - I swear, it was just Sunday! Thanks to @heartstringsduet, @cold-blooded-jelly-doughnut, @thisbuildinghasfeelings, @strandnreyes @inflarescent and @orchidscript for the tags! At risk of sharing everything I've written of the Old West AU, I'm changing it up a little this week and giving a glimpse of the Fake Dating AU I've been conjuring up for the last couple of months:
“Tyler,” TK hears the call of his name and though he hasn’t heard that voice in eight months, he remembers it all the same. He turns away from the handsome stranger he’s been conversing with and follows the direction of the voice.
Alex is walking towards him, a man following closely behind. TK watches as the man grabs Alex’s hand in his and that’s when it dawns on TK. He has to fight off an eye roll when he realizes that this man must be,
“Mitch,” Handsome stranger all but groans the name out, mimicking the way TK feels when he has to say Alex’s name.
“Carlos,” Mitch smiles and TK’s convinced he can smell the protein powder from here. He’s pretty sure that if he looks close enough, where there’s supposed to be a gleam in his eyes, there’s just two dumbbells. “Happy to see you decided to join us on the cruise. I didn't think you would have after the break-up.”
Carlos smiles but it’s born out of courtesy and not authenticity. Carlos’ eyes cut over to Alex, that same courteous smile placed upon his face. “You must be Alex.”
It’s then, something resonates with Carlos. The way the guy next to him turned when Alex called out the name, Tyler. Carlos turns back toward the man sitting next to him and says, “Wait, so if he’s Alex, that must make you,”
“Alex’s ex,” TK finishes for him, plastering on a fake smile that would be insulting to call courteous. He turns to Carlos and says, “Looks like our exes are dating each other.”

10 years of watching and now, in ironic fashion, RT is ruining my study time. this time not because i am procrastinating essays by watching videos but because i am checking my phone every 15 minutes to see if another employees account has come out. i am using reddit and twitter for the first time in 2 years. this is a shitshow.

I finally finished playing kh3
yes I know it’s been almost 4 years
no I don’t have an explanation other than I played slowly, then got sad when I figured I was near the end bc I expected it to be longer and got kind of overwhelmed and just. stopped. and then there were. so many things going on.
I’m... I had envisioned making this post in all caps bc I just knew I was gonna be excited and a little sad but... turns out I was wrong. I’m honestly not excited or happy or even conflicted. I’m just upset.
this hurts me to say bc I’ve literally loved this saga since 2002. and I honestly never thought I’d say this. but it’s not that I’m feeling melancholic, it’s just sad, because honestly, what was this ending.
I’m also very upset at the terrible treatment of kairi, however, that I expected. but the ending??? what the hell??? literally all they had to do was get the trio back to destiny islands and have them be happy and together. and they didn’t do that.
they can’t even claim the usual bullshit like “we wrote ourselves into a corner” or “it’s impossible to please every fan” bc the ending everyone wanted was the simplest one. and given the amount of nonsensical events and characters coming back against all odds, it makes no sense that they killed sora off except for cheap drama. offscreen too. after making kairi a damsel in distress again and not even saving her onscreen.
I can’t believe this. if it was gonna end like this, the saga should’ve ended in kh II. I just cannot believe my final feeling about this saga is disappointment.
I honestly don’t care if later games fix this, I assume they do bc death is cheap in this universe and also bc obviously they wanna keep milking it all (when honestly, kh III should have been the end, a good end). the fact is they completely ruined it for me.
I’m just sad.
