Hohoho~ I've just of an idea and you know what? This one goes out to you, @im-totally-not-an-alien-2.

Enemies to Lovers this. Fake Dating/Relationship that. Let's combine the two. Brain Dead style.

Danny is a thief. It started off with him stealing back ghostly artifacts and snowballed when he got commissioned to steal back a family heirloom that had been stolen/lost way back when. With a hefty reward of course. Danny doesm't exactly have the time to track down some heirloom through time, obviously, but he's a struggling college student at Gotham U and WOW that's a lot of 0s. So he does the next best thing. He goes back in time and gets the family heirloom right before it 'disappears'. With a job well done, he gets recommended to someone else. This continues and he grows to have quite the repuation. Que the arrival of Tim Drake.

Someone's been kicking up a fuss about some thief who's been stealing quite the pricy items, but that's not exactly on his radar, you see? HOWEVER! This mysterious thief IS person of interest on a murder case. And thus, Red Robin is on their trail.

Eventually, it culminates to a certain prickly situation. And by that, I mean, Tim knows that Danny is the thief. DANNY knows that Tim is Red Robin. Neither of them can risk outing the other without outing themselves. But Tim always has a plan and he's getting closer and closer to cracking this case and, quite possibly, bringing Danny down too.

So what does Danny do? He uses Tim as his alibi. For every time Danny is out stealing something, and someone asks where he's going or where he'd been at these certain times, what does he say? He says he was with Tim Drake. And Tim can't do anything to stop him. Not without outing himself anyways, and it doesn't help that Danny has somehow gotten ahold of his schedule to make sure that Tim can't use any other alibi. So he goes along with it.

Everyone thinks they're dating. Tim is quietly seething and frustrated, and unwillingly impressed. Danny just wishes that Tim would get off his back.

Oh gods, I love this! Did Danny get framed for murder cause I can't see him just running around killing people. Maybe it was his parents who accidentally killed someone and didnt realize it and Dannys DNA was left at the crime scene. Maybe they purposely killed someone and planted Phantoms hair there or something to "prove all ghosts are evil" or whatever.

Maybe Vlad tried to frame Danny for murder. Maybe (and this is my favorite) Danny legitimately killed Vlad either by accident or in self defense and since Vlad had willed everything to either Danny or his mom he knew the cops and ensuing media storm would never believe him.

So he ran.

Danny gets awkward whenever Tim/Red Robin brings up the murder and swears it isn't what it looks like but refuses to explain any further, even if it makes him look more guilty when he doesn't.

Dannys alibi falls apart after Tim deviates from his schedule and is on camera at the library alone or if one of his brothers says "he was with me" and Tim confirmed it, or the waynes disguise someone as Tim and give him an out that way. Maybe have fake Tim and/or fake Red Robin in the same room together to make it seem like there was no way they were the same person.

Unfortunately Phantoms comes up with another believable (and slightly embarrassing) alibi before he pulls the same trick as Tim with his duplicates. Bam, they're once again at an impasse.

This rivalry does not deter people from believing that they are either dating or super into eachother. Danny flirting with him so much doesn't help.

Worst of all his siblings are betting on when-not if- when they get together.

How dare!

Ficlet: Language Barrier

Summary: Hob always did have a soft heart, whether it was for kittens or anthropomorphic personifications.

The cement was cold at this time of the morning. Hob didn’t let it bother him and sat on the step anyway, his coffee cup steaming in his hand as he waited more or less patiently for the kitten he’d been after for the past week to come closer.

He’d first seen the little fella through the kitchen window, stalking what might have been a cricket out in the garden. An unremarkable little tabby, too small to be on his own, by Hob’s reckoning, too skinny and grubby. Poor thing was sure to starve or end up dead in the street and Hob’s soft heart wasn’t having it.

Progress was being made. His first offering of tuna had been ignored until he went inside and it could be freely gobbled without witness. A couple days of that, then they'd moved on to the pricy cat food he’d bought being devoured in the middle of the garden while he sat on the steps.

Today, the dish was at the bottom step and Hob sat waiting as the kitten peered out from the shrubbery. He sipped his coffee, trying to appear as nonchalant and unmenacing as a large human could be to a tiny kitten. If he could get the little beggar to trust him a mite, he could get him inside where it was safe from dogs and cars, all the things in the world that were waiting menacingly right around the corner.

“What are you doing?”

It took everything Hob had not to jump out of his skin, and damn certain people for popping in and out of the world whenever they bloody well pleased. Just because Hob couldn’t die from a heart attack didn’t mean he wanted to playact one every other day.

He turned only enough to see Dream, not wanting to make any sudden movements that might scare off the kitten. But not looking simply wasn’t on, not even for kitten appropriation purposes. It still chuffed him too much to see Dream in his house. Especially now, standing in his pale bare feet and those skinny jeans of his, so relaxed and easy here, so different than those first button-up and over starched years.

Besides, Hob wasn’t above admitting he had an appreciation for a well-turned ankle and Dream’s were damn fine.

“Shhh, don’t scare ‘im,” Hob said, low, tipping his head towards the shrub. “Been feeding him for a week. Poor little guy seems like he’s all alone.”

“Indeed.” Before Hob could protest, Dream crouched and held out a hand. The sound he made, a sort of ‘mrrrph!’ wasn’t one Hob associated with humans, but considering the source, he wasn’t entirely surprised.

More surprising was the kitten immediately vacating the shrubbery to run to him, bypassing even the canned tuna feast to nuzzle Dream’s hand with a contented little meep.

Well, wasn’t that a kick in the pants.

Hob sighed. “Can you at least tell him he can come in the house if he wants? It’s warmer and I’ve a nice soft blanket he can try.”

Dream gently picked up the kitten and let the little brat settle into the curve of his arm. Hob couldn’t be certain, but he thought it might be the both of them purring contentedly. “Stalker of the Wilds says she would be agreeable to that arrangement.”

“Right, then.” Hob gathered up the saucer of food and his coffee and headed in, Dream and the kitten at his heels.

Next time there was a beast living in the wilds of his garden, he’d be sure to bring in the cat whisperer first and save some time. And if he got to listen to Dream speaking in his little kitty voice in the process? Hob would call that a worthy reward for splurging on the good cat treats.

Standing, silently staring from the kitchen island with a knife heavily barricaded down to her palm, her fingers grasping the handle so tight her knuckles turned bone white. She was slaving away at the cutting board, slicing up food for dinner.

You had noticed her some time ago, staring at you with such the heated gaze. It was uncomfortable to be under such heavy eyes, memories coming back to you of when you first met. She was kind then… well, kinder.

"What's wrong?" You asked, tilting your head as she kept her eyes locked to yours, not daring to look down at the blade as it edged dangerously close to her hand before being pulled away.

"Nothing.."

"Well clearly there's something bothering you, so please. Tell me?" You stood up from the love seat, plumaging your firsts deep into her stolen hoodie as you walked over, examining her expression of apathy. "Please?"

She only sighed, rolling her eyes as they moved back down, steadily watching as her skilled hands clamped tighter around the knife's black stained grip.

"Babe-" you mumbled, groaning under your breath as you made your way behind her, wrapping your arms around her waist as your hands made their way to hers. It was much like a machine, the way her hands didn't even hesitate as they only steamed away, rapidly darting back and forth like a shot of adrenalin.

Carefully, you grabbed hold of the knife, making her freeze in the process as you slowly moved it aside. "What are you doing?" She questioned, turning in your arms to face you, your nose brushing up against hers as a light pink dusted her cheeks. Her cold facade was being deceived.

"You're going to hurt yourself.." you trailed off, noticing how her eyes drifted down to your lips. "And?" She sounded stupidly cocky, her breathing becoming uneaven as she shifted on the spot, looking more nervous than ever before.

"And? And this.." you spoke, slowly closing the small gap between you. She was shocked, her eyes widening as her brain ran out of logical excuses. Her heart was doing somersaults of pure joy.

It took a few seconds, but she relaxed into the kiss, allowing what was initially meant to be a small peck to evolve and become an action of passion and raw love. She was smiling into it, her lips greedily sucking the life out of you as she refused to pull away, wanting more of this sweet kiss.

Though, the time came when she had completely run out of breath. Her lungs burning as she gasped for air, heavily breathing as she could only smile at you.

"Now will you tell me?"

Giselle

Sitting upon the pricy comforter in your living room, Giselle's head was buried deep within her hands, her nose pressing up against her ringed fingers.

"Comn' Giselle, it's only for tonight." Giselle only shook her head at this, refusing to respond to your convincing. "I'll be back in no time- please," she shook her head again. "A few hours max? Please?"

"I- I don't want you to." her voice was beyond shakey, a few tears now seeping past her tightly closed fingers, leaking and trickling down the back of her hand as they seemingly raced. "Giselle," you frowned, kneeling down in front of the girl as you gently grabbed ahold of her wrists.

"Look at me"

No response...

"Please, look at me?" Your voice cracked, having made Giselle glance up from her safe haven for her emotions, her clamped hands. Her eyes were bloodshot as her tears were smudged along her beautiful face.

"Oh.." you whispered, staring at her with a rapidly growing pain, aching within your chest. Was she overreacting? You did initially want to go out for a few drinks, but now, after seeing what you've caused, you're second thinking it...

"Oh?" She whispered back, evidently choking back another sob as she glanced down to her hands that now clamped together tightly on her thighs.

After a second of silence, purely thinking as the gears in your head turned and chimed as they worked like clockwork, you spoke up with the best idea you could've possibly come up with. "Yeah... but guess what.." You gulped as she tilted her eyes up, her lips pulling down to create a deep frown.

"What?"

You quickly leaned in, taking her lips upon yours in a kiss that could have lasted forever, but had to be cut short, or else you knew you'd forget what you wanted to say. When you pulled back, you could see the gobsmacked expression on her face, cheeks furiously blushing a crimson blemish.

"I won't go. Okay? If you want me to stay, I'll stay here, with you"

Winter

Walking in a secluded park, your breaths rolled out of your mouth as frosted art in the below zero ambience. The place was cold, snow freezing any surface it could cling to, making it sparkle and shine in the evening light, and despite the warm sun rays, the snow pushed past the heat.

Winter's hand was heavily reliant on yours. It was like you're her life support, and she couldn't bear the thought of letting go... not like this anyway.

"This is nice," she heaves out, snapping the comfortable silence that once rested between you both, scraping at the edge of your mind as you respond. "Yeah..."

It wasn't like you disliked being with her or hated the scene you walk in... it's just that you don't particularly love it? It was a forced meeting. Your coworker had always been clingy with you in particular, but this? She practically demanded you to skip the day of work for this. If there's one thing you'd label Winter, it would definitely be stubborn, narrow-minded even.

"What's wrong? You don't seem to agree in the slightest?" She smiles, stopping to turn to face you with a bright smile. "Nothing, it's just a little cold." You give her a half smile, not even trying to compete with her perfect one as it begins to deflate. "You're cold?" You nod.

"Why didn't you say so?" she quickly takes off her coat, applying it to your own body before taking a step back, giggling as she looks at you with eyes of adoration. "What?"

"You're just-" she stops her sentence to giggle again, her hand linking with yours. "So cute wearing my clothes." Now, you're not sure if your body was trying to regulate its temperature or not, but you could certainly feel a warmth crawl to your cheeks. To this, you shyly turn your head to the side, looking at the snow to distract your conflicting thoughts.

"Hey, don't look away! I want to see your face!!" She seemingly whines, bouncing up and down as she huffs, her cheeks inflating like a puffer fish would.

After a while of her whining, you slowly turn your head back to her, having felt the heat fade out now. Your eyes greeted hers in a way that they had never done before, feeling slightly nauseous as your stomach inches in heavenly ways. "There's your cute face," she smiles, her eyes closing and morphing into oddly adorable crescent moons.

What you had done next shocked you both, your lips stuttering gently as your voice became a beacon for her happiness. "I-I think I like you," what? Just a minute ago, you hated her… didn't you?

"W-what?" She was evidently confused, but her cheeks reddened in the same way yours did just seconds prior, her smile impossibly widening as she's quick to act upon her heart's desire.

A kiss.

When she leaned in, she wasn't actually expecting you to complete the gap, but your heart followed its desires too, and apparently, it suddenly wants her... or had it wanted her all along?

Ningning

A single smirk played with Ningnings lips, her thoughts intoxicated with only you as the room fell under the trance of desperate music. She longed for the touch of your lips on hers, your hugs weren't cutting it anymore, and she knew exactly what to do.

She wouldn't try to ignite the kiss, no.. she's too timid for that, but she'd rather trick you into giving her a kiss instead. It seemed perfect that way. The only way she wants it to be done, but now, now that she's living in the moment, the reality of it all is raining down on her.

Ningning is a clump of red blush and silly stutters as you look her in the eye. She's been acting up all night so you confronted her. Safe to say her plan was failing miserably.

"What? What do you want?" Your voice was dripping with a harsh venom coating, staining her heart with an ache for mending.

That girl, she was ment to make you jealous! The paid actress was supposed to flirt with Ningning, but she accidently confused with the order. She ended up flirting with you instead, causing Ningning to get all drunk on her emotions.

Now, being in a dark room had played a role in this too, the club was all too twisted with its colours. She couldn't tell this was the actress, so Ningning mistakened her as some random woman looking for a one night stand, or worse... and actual relationship

"Y-you- he-r" her stuttering was unbearable, even to her own ears. She's never felt so small in someone's grasp, she has always had full control over the situation, but right now? She was lacking that certain aspect.

"What about us? We were talking Nin!" You glared at her weakened self, a feeling of guilt somewhat taking a toll as your eyes began to soften with ease. "We're dating, aren't we?" Ningning nods with a pout "then why would I go off with other people? We're dating, dating someone is a commitment and i wouldn't be in this relationship if I wasn't ready for this kind of life" you heaved out, grabbing her face in a state of anger and smashing your lips upon hers.

Your lips played a dangerous game as they slid around, gracing her lips with a the sweet essence of your life. It was like a synchronised dance, an unpracticed at that. This was her first kiss, and it's with the one she loves most.

Pulling back, the unavoidable sight of her frozen face, her lips still puckered out and eyes half closed in a dazed state. You chuckle,"you okay love?"

She slowly nods at this, her lips morphing into a deadly smile, one that even now, makes your heart jump the same way it did when you first met. "More than okay"

I know many people think Chris is trying to dip out of acting and what not since he made his money but do your guys really think whatever he has is enough? He has different properties most of which he recently bought and no is splurging on these new people in his life not to mention im sure his team will continue getting money of some sort (correct me if im wrong). Chris doesnt seem too smart about money and tbh (you can ignore the following if you dont care/believe i know many dont in astrology) but his indentity in regards to his chart is heavily tied to how much money he makes. Its one of his major wounds. He worries about it entirely too much and lets be real even he said it himself his worries with money and if hes not continuously making it I dont think he will be able to sustain it with the kind of spending hes been doing and will continue even more so with these people he let in his life. And lets be fr for a sec he likes the accomodating things being a celeb gives him wether or not hed like to admit it so I think this whole hate to the "crazy fans" talk (warranted to the actualy crazies not so much the regs) will kick his ass even more so. Wether he likes it or not and for better and worse the reg Cap fans will not be sticking around long for him its the crazies that carry things tbh (scary but its true). Those are the ones bringing you protection from public bs (see selena gomez fanbase) and other things that would be forgotten. Chris needs to check himself befofe he inevitable starts messing up his coins which lets note Alba is certainly taking advantage of.

Yes, Chris has more than enough money to take care of himself for the rest of his life. If money were to become an issue, he’d simply have to sell one of his homes and he’d have a nice sized check right there because it’s a sellers market right now and he owns some pricy homes. The whole idea that Chris is “broke” that I see coming from some fans is absolutely wild to me. Is he the richest man in the world? Obviously not. But the man has MONEY. MONEY MONEY. He will be just fine🦎

You remind me of a big sister, oh my god something about you is so comforting. :) Anyways, I live in California but I've only lived here for around 7 months. You mentioned before you love coming here, but can I have some places that would be nice to go on vacation? I feel super cooped up in my apartment and want to have a fun time outdoors or something. Thank you! <3

We've spent a lot of time in a few different spots in CA, so hopefully, I mention one location near you! The obvious to all of this is beach and book. We are two beach bums when we can be, but I'll hit a few of the cities we've stayed at!

Oceanside is our go to. We like the location, due to military relations so its kind of the perfect spot for us because ✨️family✨️ If you are near that area, the beach at night is so quiet and perfect if you love seashell hunting. Oceanside also has street food/fair events, several cute metaphysical shops, and a few really good restaurants. One of them is a rooftop/desktop outdoor situation, it overlooks the docking area there, and at sunset is stunning.

In the San Diego area, I love going to Balboa Park. There's several gardens that are cheap or free to go to. During November to December, one of them is filled with gorgeous variations of poinsettias. There's also a ton of museums there, cultural houses to peep at, and gorgeous architecture. There's also a shopping area that's cute for giggles to just walk around. It's called Seaport Village. They used to have a shop just FILLED with coffee mugs. I loved it 😅

Heading north a little bit to LA where my partner is from. He grew up near skid row and has pretty vivid nightmares still about his kidhood there, so we tend to avoid the downtown area. When we do go, he always takes me to The Last Bookstore (some of you may recognize the name, it is the one you're thinking), it is just an experience. They sell antique books, collector's editions, and rare first editions along with new books. They have MAGICAL displays made from books. Griffith Park is also very beautiful with lots of things to go to. I'm a fan of anywhere with a botanic and butterfly garden 😅 and that brings me to our favorite spot in LA (minus the beach and hiking in Griffith Park) The Huntington Library. It's a library, botanic garden, and art museum all in one. It is 100% for me and not for him. He loves me dearly, and I am spoiled. There's obviously a lot of other things to do in LA (Disney, Orlando studios, ect), but we've been waiting to explore and experience those things until we had Littles to enjoy them with.

Popping between LA and San Fran is Sequoia National Park. If you are going to go and have never been, plan for a few days. It's... almost like breathtaking how small you realize you really are there.

San Francisco is kind of just... I wish I could describe it as something other than home feeling, considering I'm a midwest farm girl, but it has this magical home calling. We have a main thing we really like to do, and it's a little pricy (but not as pricy as the next location ive been treated to). He loves to see Alcatraz. 😅 he's obsessed. Otherwise it is a LOT of hiking and just trying new food places there. I just really love the vibes there for some reason.

Napa Valley I consider its own place, and it holds the most special place in my heart. He took me there for my 25th birthday. It is pricy, but wine country is so just relaxing. We stayed at this hotel, and we literally just walked out of our rooms patio door and into the vineyard. Im not 100% sure how much our week there was, but he told me not to expect anything for Christmas or valentines that year 😅

If you want really hot and in land Cali, my brothers and baby daddy went to Death Valley for a few days. They started the trip there, then went to Vegas (youngest brother's 21st birthday). My older brother said it was unbelievably hot (literally duh my sweet summer child), but he said the 4 days the 3 of them were there was a lot of fun. They did a lot of trail hiking and drank a lot of water. They all do not regret the choice to check it out. I was not invited on the boys' trip, so I didn't get to go 😑 I'm not salty AT ALL I didn't plan the trip for them or anything 🤣

If you're looking to get out of California, Colorado. Find your soul in Colorado. I highly recommend Georgetown. Not too far from Denver, not so high up in the mountains you have to anxious about snowfall and getting trapped, and I'll just attach the view from the hike into the mountains we went on.

I will push Colorado to anyone needing to get away and get into nature if it is in their budget ❤️ I've never found a town in Colorado I didn't think was stunning.

If you want to stay on the West Coast, Oregon. We went to Crater Lake National Park. One word, Ethereal. A little busy, but so so worth it.

No matter where you go, if you're getting into nature and needing to re-center your soul, find a creek with running water and just put your hands or feet in it, or get into the ocean (to where you're comfortable) and just let yourself have a moment of silence. Water is purifying and healing. It's one of the most powerful elements in our world, and it is where I find the strongest connection to Mother Nature ❤️

i barely intend to have online friends anymore, it’s too difficult to trust anybody, about anything. i see you.

My first essay

Under the influence

Fashion has been something I have been interested in since I was young. I have always wanted to create my own clothing brand, always searching for manufacturers knowing I was never able to afford it. Creating design concepts hoping that one day I could make my dreams come true. What got me interested in fashion were the different types of clothes that was out the my first pair of jeans which stick in my head are g star raw jeans im not sure if they were real or fake but they were baggy and i thought they were cool and it's crazy how fashion back in those days were baggy jeans then it went to skinny jeans now it's back to baggy. Going back to the days when I started college for the first time I came across a brand that also inspired me and a lot of brands today the name is bbc ice cream.

What I thought was cool about that brand was how they added their logo to the crotch of their jeans and now you see plenty of brands doing that so it shows the inspiration for fashion.

I am also a model as well as being a designer. The modelling part is relevant to this because I have to look good and have a reasonable outlook on fashion and the way I dress. I have to keep up with trends and dress up with the times I can't be behind. Social media websites such as instagram pinterest and tiktok help me keep up with the relevant trends that are out there. Pages like hypebeast help also because they show clothes, even objects and items that are made by designers and collaborations that are interesting. And me as a guy who is into fashion looks and nit picks things that i like to create an outfit that would be cool and represent me. That's why people say that I am my own stylist. Because it's all good going buying trending items and making your outfit unique but you can tell who's a trend hopper and who's just buying the first thing they see on tiktok for example nike dunks. Nobody used to wear them and now everyone wears them and I think I have gone sick of seeing them.

Like I mentioned before, fashion trends are cool because every year something from the past becomes hot again. Even styles become hot right now the whole y2k (year 2000) style has taken the world by storm. Brands have incorporated the whole style in it. Or people have created brands that have taken inspiration from it. A major brand I can think of is Named Collective. Named Collective there whole campaigns have very y2k aesthetics involved in it even their clothing designs look it as well. Right now timberlands and baggy jeans are what's trending. That's mainly due to the rapper Lil Yachty and also celebrities can influence trends. In the future i feel that skinny jeans will be back in trend because they cant be out of trend for long anymore.

I would love to art direct a brand campaign. Starting from the social media adverts. All the way to the website looks. Just everything. Because my mind goes wild with thoughts and ideas for brand advertisements. So working with a huge brand with the budget to make it happen would be great. Id love to work with many Brands but the main brands I want to work with are Zara, Corteiz, Clints inc, Bene Culture, and balenciaga.

One thing I hate about the fashion scene would be the brands that have come out of the blue and started a brand with no passion and thought. Just creating something that is solely to profit and make a quick flip. Most of their designs would be pre-made designs which a lot of people have purchased from other graphics designers which have no relations to their brand. Generic Quotes. And basic symbols and imagery which have no thought or meaning behind it. I think they are ruining the scene although some of their designs are cool they won't have much longevity.

Also resellers I hate because years ago a lot of trainers were more accessible to get but now scalpers are buying and botting huge portions of clothing so it isn't possible for most of the public to get clothing for the retail pricing. Causing the price to be at an all time high. Trainers that you could probably buy for £150 which is already quite expensive to me being £500 and these things make fashion items less and less accessible unless you have a whole bunch of money.

The difference between regular streetwear and high fashion is crazy because in recent days i feel like most brands are doing a mix in between high fashion and streetwear in some of the pieces they drop whether its like the quality fitting and the design of the clothing or the just the overall prints that they put on the designs. Again corteiz is the perfect example of this because they went from simple T-shirts and hoodies with logos on it to creating fur and leather jackets high quality clothing. To try and tailor to both audiences. Which isn't that bad of an idea but your core audience may think you are straying away from them. The differences between the two styles would be one style if fashion is a lot brighter and different pieces of clothing can be put together no matter how different the types of clothing, maybe for example mixing smart with casual clothing like a hoodie, smart trousers and trainers. And the colours can be bright or bland. Whereas high fashion tends to be plain colours or neutral colors, high quality clothing and weird things that people will buy even though they might not like it but they might just want to show off.

I don't really agree with the pricing most brands choose to put on the clothing these days mainly because most brands in my opinion aren't really worth it unless i find that there designs are unique and are a beginning of a new trend like the Msfts boots because even though they aren't my favourite trainers they are something different and other brands could take inspiration from them and make the imagination run wild rather the being basic. Also if the quality of the clothing like the gsm and the weight of the garment are top tier then it would make sense as they would last longer. I would rather pay more for that but if its just a plain hoodie with words written on it then thats a no.Also the actual technical side of clothing matters to me as well because a hoodie with zips on the sleeves or cropped makes a hoodie more unique than a simple fitted hoodie. But my ideal price range would be around £30-£100 for a hoodie any higher is really pushing it in my opinion because I like to support brands and stuff but that's way too much.

Fashion these days can be way too crazy and it can be easy to judge people and get the wrong impression on people from what they wear. Mainly because of the brands and what they release or display on fashion week. Because from what I have seen some of the brands put models in makes me think that it's all for a social experiment. Like when balenciaga made jeans that had boxer shorts attached to it it and also the towel dress they made it makes me think whether people actually wear those clothes outside. I have only seen a few amounts of clothing that has been on run actually being worn outside like the big crocs and that balenciaga defenders they do look cool but i do think the other ones ive seen are quite outlandish.

One of my favourite brands of all time would be Adidas. Due to me liking the three stripes a lot and their collaboration with kanye west even through the controversy i think what he creates and makes is very innovative and inspirational. He usually is first in line to create weird clothing and brands follow on and copy what he is doing which I think is cool considering he started from making music and now is doing clothes. Adidas is also a mainly a sportswear clothing brand and they have separate sections to the brand adidas and adidas originals. They also have staple pieces which they have made like the superstars sambas and the sambas have recently come back in trend. They also have the best collaborations in my opinion like the alexander wang's also y3 and bape. However i dont like the adidas jeremy scott wings because of how ridiculous the look. Huge wings on the side of shoes does not make sense to me.

I also love Nike because of their classic collection of trainers, not specifically the clothes like Adidas but I feel their footwear is a lot better and in recent years I've found myself buying more and more of them and the general public buying a lot of them. With their classic collaborative shoe the nike jordan with the 1 and the 4s being the most popular right now out of all of them. And I do agree due to the silhouette being something that can go with most trousers and jeans and colours that can match with a lot of things. I do agree with it being a popular shoe. Also another trainer called the air force 1 i'm pretty sure they were at one point the most popular trainers out there to be specific the white color aswell because it goes with anything you wear due to it being a plain colour and the black colour holding a stereotype.

Hi! You seem like someone who takes perfume very seriously and so I thought you might be a good person to ask. Do you have any suggestions for how to go about finding a new perfume? The one I’ve worn for a decade was recently discontinued and I’m looking for something to replace it, but perfume is so pricy im anxious about committing to any purchase. And as I read the descriptions of different perfumes, im really not sure how to interpret them (they’re as opaque as wine descriptions to me haha). Do you have any suggestions for perfume beginners/people looking for a new everyday scent? Thank you!

Sure! I started with the company Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, where I got a pack of samples to tell what kind of scents I wanted. You obviously don't have to start with that company, but samples are a good way to to get a sense of what you like; many companies offer them, or you can order a bunch of ones from different places on websites like The Perfumed Court. (Which actually has some pre-made sample sets of popular scents like roses, sandalwood, etc.)

Lists of notes in perfumes are not always helpful, but if you look up your previous favorite perfume on the website Fragrantica, it should tell you what the main note is- vanilla? Lime? Wisteria? If you know you like that scent, you can look on websites for it, or even google "Best [scent note] fragrances."

Perfumes are often annoyingly expensive! If there's one you like but can't afford, The Perfumed Court may sell decants (some of that perfume transferred into a smaller bottle) or you may be able to find it discounted on ebay. (Ebay sometimes also has saved discontinued scents.)

Optional but fun: books and blogs! The book Scent and Subversion is a good rundown of noteable perfumes by decade, some of which are still manufactured and some of which you can find old bottles of online. I also enjoy the blogs Now Smell This and Bois de Jasmine, which have reviews and reflections.

I work with technology a lot, including virtual reality, and it made me wonder what or how it could pose as some good use for magick and witchcraft.

At the start of being Pagan, many things I did were very offline. I read physical books, went to physical locations such as the library and metaphysical shop, wrote in my physical B.O.S., things like that. If anything, I preferred it that way, things were very much in reach and given the history of magick is very much more so on paper than in bytes, it made better sense to me.

But eventually, technology got better and easier. More and more resources were online, and reliable resources at that. Granted, there is still a lot of bunk and dribble on the internet. Why people like to pick up spells from random corners of the internet is beyond me. If they are easy to get and plain out there for the world to see and, even worse, come with a price tag, it is probably fake. Some witches do indeed do paid spellwork/pay for pray but not to the excessive number that exists on the internet. More on that later, but basically, tech made witchy info collecting easier. It has probably been a while since I have penned in my B.O.S. but, if anything, I have more of a Disk of Shadows (D.O.S.) now. I have particular tumblrs and tags that I follow or curate on my own that are informative and helpful to my works and endeavors. They’re sometimes really hard to find, and sometimes they are not (if you know what to look for). There are more digital groups for Black Pagans and other minorities/poc now than when I started over a decade ago. Due to the internet, there is better access to much better information about non-European cultures that is not filtered through the perspective of a random White academic slathering on a layer of their own personal bias to the details and calling it “correct, accurate and objective information”. People can do their own research and not be blocked by institutions or paywalls.

But there’s still a lot of bunk on the internet. Due to the pop culture sensation of “witchiness” (basically think of anything American Horror Story, The Craft and the Sabrina reboot has pumped out, add some culture-vulturing via “I am a bruerja” and you got it), it makes decent info still rather hard to find. Since books and old texts that may or may not be translated well or correctly are not that popular, it is easier to find people who, frankly, don’t really know much of what they are doing, they just really like sage, cultural appropriation, gothic clothing and perhaps nursing a drug habit. They’re all over Instagram with their filter-laden pictures, offering to cast spells and do divination (usually tarot, because, what else are they going to learn? Cartomancy? Numerology? I Ching? Elective Astrology? Not as popular) but don’t seem to really know much about ethics and the other boring stuff of learning actual, proper witchcraft. It’s easy to blame just about everything on Mercury retrogrades but if that person has never heard of an ephemera before, they probably are also dead wrong about anything retrograde as well. Spells are cool and mysterious (not really), reading and research is … well, how many pop culture witch characters have you seen buzzing around countless books going “I thiiiiiiiiink this is definitely super old school Congolese – liiiiike, way, way, before colonialization. And of course, it’s a half-page passage in an out-of-print book and features a next-to-dead language. So we should either pick a different spell, or start bothering really old people who may or may not remember such a language – assuming the invading White folks did not torch or steal their cultural history – oh wait, it’s sitting in the British museum, with an incorrect placard and everything. Great, now may we have to talk to stuck up, myopic, well-dressed thieves that think they’re not stuck up, narcissistically stupid, or sticky fingered because ‘I have a degree and institutional prejudice is on my side’. You know what? Killmonger had some good ideas. Someone grab some coffee, that is probably the easier option”? Outside of Hermione Granger, not really anyone in witchy pop culture is very “research is good, research is great, research keeps random entities you summoned and can’t get rid of out of your home and life.” So it can make good info hard to break through the ether. Nothing is wrong with liking pop culture depictions of magic – I get a kick out of Doom Patrol’s magnificent depiction of chaos magick – but it is a bit of a problem when people try to base their practice on movie magic. Yes, psionics is real, yes, magic is real but no, it doesn’t look exactly like the tv and movies. If anything, they can be a lot more stressful and annoying.

I think being a technology-based witch, for me, is simply involving technology in your practice. I have thought of the idea of making a virtual space for spellwork and personal practice but then I think about my track record with magick, energy movement and electrical items. VR systems are pricy and I have made electrical items go ka-put. And, again, VR systems are pricy. But others could benefit, especially those who may not have the space or safety to comfortably practice in the real world. You can make whatever you want in the virtual world and it can be your own spot. A digital altar, a digital casting circle, the list goes on and on.

At first, I wasn’t too sure of these things because, well, they are new. No one was using computers for such practices – or any practices – centuries ago. But all technology, no matter how rudimentary, was considered new at one point. All creations were considered new at one point. From the typewriter, to the wheel, to fire itself. Certainly the deities can be understanding of some of these changes. As long as the changes are relatively seamless, especially for some deities. For example, some sun gods probably would not be too keen on the use of cell phone flashlights vs. actual natural light sources, like a flame made from the sun’s rays. I imagine working with water deities would be stress-inducing unless you are very confident in the IP rating of your technology and trickster deities + internet is probably literal trouble if you do not know what you are doing.

Has all my practices gone digital? I don’t think so but I do think a vast majority of it has. It has been the easier option for me but I always bear in mind that it is good to at least have back ups and that not everything worthwhile is on a computer. There is still always going to be a need for physical things. Links die, computers break and sometime technology can over-complicate simple processes. That and not everything is on the internet, not everything has been digitized and some things are simply harder to find digitally because the metadata is not up to snuff or it is plain incorrect. Thus it is good to find a decent balance, even if that balance is majority tech with analog supports.

its cold af in my room but i cant turn on the heater cuz fuck no but also my blanket smells rlly bad for like, no reason but also so does my room and the things mom got for that arent working and also im gonna scream if it isnt friday tomorrow because if i have to focus on something important im gonna run away and jump off a bridge or something. and also everything is wrong and i wanna throw something because i cant do work but i cant do anything else until i do the work but im gonna fall behind again and im freaking tf out and this isnt worth it because i just want to have free time and wear dresses i like but all the outfits i like are pricey and mom forgot to take me to get new clothes for like the 3rd time in a row so i dont wanna ask for the dresses because they cost more than my entire birthday budget for the main piece

and also i cant take a nap or or sleep because i found holes in my sheets like pretty sizable holes and i think a spring broke in my mattress because my pants kept getting caught on it and also i dont actually know thats true so i cant bring it up and also my blankets arent heavy enough they feel way to light and cold until i have to get up and im over heating and i dont wanna do anything with myself because i hate my room and if i clean it then it will be big and empty and thats not acceptable i need a table or something but thats pricy to get the one i want and i need everything i want by highschool or im going to flip out because im just going to spend my whole child hood in pain because im ugly and cant care for myself because i think its actually been i month since i’ve showered because i hate showers and cant take a bath and the therapy thing isnt set up yet because we havent gotten a call back and mom didnt even try to call the therapy thing i picked out so im not even sure if i have problems and if i do i dont know if the therapist will actually know how to help with that and im just so self absorbed for thinking i could actually at some point ask for the clothes i want because mom wont even remember to get my clothes when im unhappy with most of my current clothes and they’re all old and starting to get holes and i was supposed to get goth stuff from my older sister since she was cleaning out her closet because she shops so much and i want to wring her neck and bash her head into a glass window and it was like a month or more ago since she said she would let us pick thru what she was throwing out and i hate her because she doesnt actually care enough to let me keep my problems to myself, i wouldnt have suffered so much if it wasnt for her and mom its mostly her fault i wish she would just move out already, i dont get why mom cant just buy my clothes when one of my younger sisters has 3 fucking i pads because she has low functioning autism when 2 are literally just for play and so much attention is given to her and i get why but wtf why cant i just get some new clothes when she is given so much IM FLIPPING TF OUT I CANT DO WORK I JUST WANT TO LOOK AT CUTE CLOTHES IK I WILL NEVER HAVE BECAUSE IM NEVER GOING TO HAVE ENOUGH MONEY

yeah of course!! and if thats the case then blender might be a great choice since even if your cpu is super slow when you render it out the final result will be just as fast as if it was done with a supercomputer. and following along with video tutorials like the ones by blender guru are a real great way to learn blender. i havent even been doing 3d art for more than 2 years so its definitely possible to pick up!! also some more recs from anon(s? im not sure if theyre the same person or not!!)

yeah i've used it before!! its similar to unity's shader graph and blender's node-based system. main advantage of unreal engine for me is its got a really good real-time lighting system, the particle system is v good too, so weigh that against whether or not you want to learn how to use it (for me most of my art is unlit so i dont really have a reason to!)

i dont use them since none of my stuff is really texture-focused but i do know a lot of people who use substance painter and substance designer a ton. if you want to focus on the actual textures on the models themselves theyre great to have but otherwise theyre a bit pricy 😭

i've currently spent about 10 dollars reading paid webcomics and got about 60 chapters with that much. i'll be buying more webcomics in the future but if it's too pricy i'll be less inclined to buy

I will buy physical copies most of the time. I do like having the print in my hands. If it was like a site sub though, like you can put your comics on a site and everyone gets paid a share, then I wouldn't mind because you get options.

But if it is just one comic though, I would be worried,

For example, if people were paid to upload onto Webtoons, but you have to pay like 5 dollars for reading for 1 month, I wouldn't mind because I still can choose what to read

To continue reading the ones I like I think I'd spend money, but honestly I'd probably only do that once they're complete, too. As a reader, I also prefer to know what the comic is about first, before committing to pay to read it, like going in blind. I prefer the subscription option to read any comic but not per comic chapter. I like to support the authors if the story appeals to me or purchase their ebooks(edited)

I would likely pay to keep reading the ones I'm already into. But I would be very reluctant to check out new ones if I had to pay to even check them out. The first few pages aren't enough in most cases. I also wouldn't be averse to the subscription idea, assuming the platform isn't like, catering to a genre that I'm not interested in. Physical volumes actually don't interest me in most cases. Storage is a huuuuuge issue for me.

Depends on digital vs. physical, the amount of content and quality. Usually I prefer a physical copy since I like collecting indie comics and am willing to pay 10USD - 30USD, I'll even pay high price for hardcover collector editions if I really, really like the creator's work. Like, I actually have a section of my bookshelf dedicated to printed webcomics, which isn't very full yet but I plan on practically overcumbering it someday. Digital copies and subscriptions, I'm oddly a little more stingy about. I tend to forget about stuff like that very easily, so to save myself from wasting money I would have to be almost a mindless fanatic about the webcomic to buy it digitally or keep up with a weekly/monthly pay subscription. As far as price, if it's a subscription I can't afford a whole lot since I'll probably be trying to take on multiple comics, a digital copy I may pay around the same amount as with a physical book.

I'm not too picky about what I would buy, if it looks really good or interesting I'll maybe subscribe to give it a look through, or buy a chapter/volume if I can afford it. Worst that would happen is I didn't like it after all but supported an indie creator trying to get their work off the ground. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I actually have in fact read many pay-to-read webcomics, and my experience has been somewhere in the middle. I think the most important thing is that the webcomic in question has the first few chapters as free-to-read so that new readers can get a feel for the story, because I wouldn't pay for something I didn't know I would like. The other things is for comics to be affordable. I'm not very wealthy, so the price of a comic chapter needs to be pretty cheap for me to invest. $1 per chapter is the absolute highest limit, and the chapter has to be at least 10+ pages. I'm way more willing to spend more money on print comics because it is something physical that I can put on my shelf, and because I know printing costs can be expensive.

No way I'd pay to read a comic without having at least the first chapter free. Even if people are recommending it to me, I still want to see it for myself first. But even then... I don't know if I would spend money on an online subscription - I'd probably wait to see what people are saying about it, save my money, and shell out a bit extra for a print edition (if that's in the cards for the comic). If a comic is free online, I feel even more like supporting it with a physical purchase. If a webcomic is locked behind a paywall... I get it, but it certainly discourages me as a reader.

I wouldn't mind an idea of like, you get 1 page free a month (Slow I know) but you can buy the full thing now as an Ebook or something. That system would help the author get money (for people who want to support and love their comic from the slow post rate) and great for people who can't afford comic, and read them free at the library becuase they can't even afford computers at home.

I like the print comics too for libraries, gives comics more free access

Yes! Actually, a few librarians went to Vancaf as long as it has an ISBN it makes it easier (Well we hope there is a copy catalogue somewhere lol) And I know in the US there are a lot more librarians grabbing comics for their shelves

The tricky thing would be finding new comics to get into... how would you get exposed to them? And there are so many, how would you know which ones are worth whatever pricetag goes with them? It would certainly change the whole landscape of webcomics, to be sure.

Put in requests for webcomic print collections at your local library! They probably won't get bought during the lockdown, but at least your interest will be on record when the librarians get back.

Mine stocks some, although it's skewed toward really well-known ones -- Homestuck, Digger, Nimona, Cucumber Quest, Skin Horse, Penny Arcade, Gunnerkrigg Court (there's more, I just can't remember them off the top of my head).(edited)

If I have to pay before I can know if I'll like the contents? I'd probably pass, unless there was some other big incentive for me to read it (like a friend's recommendation). Paywalls can be a big turnoff if you don't know what you're paying for, that's what I'm saying. However, if there were previews or free chapters, and then I had to pay to read the rest? I'd probably invest those €€€.

I read Stand Still Stay Silent at the library, actually. That’s how I managed to actually get into it, I felt like it was a better experience. As for paying: I will sometimes buy a physical book of a comic I want to read but haven’t yet, just because reading on paper is easier on my eyes. So, sometimes I’ll pay money if I’m really interested in it. But it usually takes me a while to get to that point. If every webcomic went to a paid platform, I’d probably be less likely to read Webcomics.

actually you know what it would kinda be like? steam like basically any game devs from the smallest indie devs to the massive corporations publish their PC games through steam. and to my knowledge, all games on steam cost at least some money so indie creators' only option to get eyes on their comic would be the same as indie devs getting eyes on their game. find someone popular willing to review it, and hope for some word of mouth.

For me the answer here depends on a lot of factors. If it's a one time "bulk" purchase, I'd probably go from $5-$10 depending on amount of pages, time to read, and just overall quality. I'd of course have to be interested as well, but that's an aside point for me in terms of what I'd be willing to pay. Anything past $10 is just kind of too rich for my blood sort of thing, unless it's like a super volume or something. As a subscription, this would heavily depend on the service. How are they curating content? Do they add more content regularly? How much content do they have? How are they innovating to improve my experience as a reader and to be able to find content? How is the industry as a whole? Are there a few competitors making it an affordable option, or is it becoming like tv cable because everyone wants their slice of the pie? With this many questions, it's hard to put a price on a subscription service. Definitely no more than I pay for Hulu or Netflix. But honestly, with the state of the industry right now, I don't think the price would be justified if they made it even like $10/month. Cause as it stands none of the hosts really do anything to improve my experience as a reader and only make things harder for everyone.

The Pentel Energel is one of the best writing experiences I've ever had with a pen! Its super smooth and nice to write with. I bought a three pack of these at Barn and Nobels, but I don't remeber the cost.

The Frixion pens are a good writing experiance as well. They aren't as smooth, but have a nice feel. The eraser works great and the click is satisfying and I would recomend these for something like notetaking where you might need to erase. I was gifted these, but you can buy them online (http://pilotpen.us/brands/frixion/frixion-ball-clicker/) they are on the expensive end for pens, but its not too rare to find them on sale in store or on Amazon.

I love the metallic sharpies! They don't bleed like normal sharpies and feel good to write with. The writing of the diffrent colours is completely diffrent because the colours have very diffrent formulas. The silver comes out thicker, the green ghosts while the others don't and the bronze smells a little odd. I got these at a local drug store on sale for 4 dollars. The Tul medium is one I found in my house and never remebered buying. It is an adorable pen and writes amazingly and very smoothly. If you know anything about this brand please tell me!

The studio one pens are ones I got from an inking set when I was much younger. I don't know where the rest are, but these are very nice pens that I appreciate.

The bic intensity fineliners were at my local Fred Myers for $6 today and I picked them up. They are wonderful to write with and I would totally picking them up, espically if you find them on sale like I did. They make larger sets and sell smaller colour sets, but this collection was good for me, espically at the price. The red and green seem to have a diffrent formula and are more runny. Brush Pens

I use the crayola Singature brush pens that were fairly recently released. One end is a brush pen and the other is a detail marker. The brush and detail are not the same colour, which can be a good thing or a bad thing. I got the decorative tin box of them. They are normally about $13, but I got them on sale for closer to $8 on Amazon. (And that sale is still going on when I post this!) I do have some issues with them. They write really well out of box, but I have found that my red and black have already started to become less pigmented. I tried storing them brush tip down to see if that would help, but it did not. The labels of the colours on the pen also rub off very easily and to label the colours in my swatches I had to look at the swatches already in my bullet journal. However, if you are not using these constantly and or are a beginner they are really easy to work with and feel good. They ghost on thinner paper, but don't bleed and they didn't ghost on my thicker journal paper. In addition they come in a beautiful range of colours. Super tips

I use crayola supertips for colouring and fake calligraphy. These are very fun to play with and come in an amazing range of colours. I got lucky and found this 50 pack on sale at Fred Myers for $5. I have heard of these being used for faking calligraphy for a while and I decided to pick them up to try and I've been having a lot of fun with it! I would 100% recomend picking them up if you get the chance. They are afordable even at full price (plus you totally don't need a 50 pack, but this was about the same price as the 20 pack at the store.) I didn't label the colours on the swatches because they aren't labeled on the markers and I had tried to match the colours to the back of the box but that was too hard and I gave up. Anyways they are currently on sale for $7 on Amazon (Crayola Super Tips Washable Markers 50 Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00004UFOO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Y6WBDbZJWSPGV)

Crayola Silly Scents

These are very similar to the Crayola Supertips both in shape and formula. However, the cone comes to less of a sharp tip, which makes fake calligraphy slightly harder to do with these. The smells are enjoyable and fairly long lasting on the page. It fades, but it lasts strongly even after it drys and will be there very faintly for even longer. The markers themselves don't lose the smell either. These are really fun for colouring with and even when the scents get mixed together it doesnt get overwhelming or gross, which I find pretty common with most other scented products. I was unable to find the smaller markers on amazon, but Im sure they still exist if you dig slightly harder than me. However I did find the wide ones. These are more expensive than the normal markers, at $7.78, but still adorable. Crayola erasable coloured pencils

As you can tell I really love Crayola and these coloured pencils are no exception. These come out lighter than other coloured pencils, but I kind of like that. The lead is also softer than creates a diffrent writing experiance. They erase about the same as a regular pencil. I admitiedly dont need the erasing aspect of it very often, but its a cool thing to have. I have the 10 count for $4.20, but they have 24 and 50 counts as well. Highlighters

Sharpie

I love these! Both on pen and pencil most colours don't smear as the smear guard label on it promises. The yellow does minorly smear on top of pencil as you can tell though. However it's much better than many other highlighters. These also have these windows so you can actually see what you are highlighting while using it. The window doesn't affect the ink flow through the highlighter and they are very bright and highly pigmented. The tip also allows for both thin underlines and thick underlines. I like it much better than traditional chisel tips. I couldn't find the exact colour selection I got at Wallgreens nor do I remeber what I payed, but this three pack on amazon is $4 (which is a bit expensive, but they are wonderful) (Sharpie Clear View Highlighter Stick, Assorted, 3/Pack (1950748) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019PGLR9M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_dDXBDbKVQRF2V)

Frixion erasable highlighters

These are alright. I use them sometimes, but unlike everything else on this page I wouldn't recomend them for most people. They should not be used on top of pencil because erasing off top of pencil is pretty much imposible. Erasing off top of pen is ussually okay and erasing off top of print is fairly good. Oddly enough the yellow also smears while the other colours do not once again. I would only recomend these if you are highlighting on top of text that you own. It leaves small traces even on top of text so I would not recomened it for barrowed items. They are also fairly pricy for highlighters. (At $9.24 for 3, I got them on sale for $5 and I woipd only recomend it if you are able to get them at that price or lower.) Hopefully Poilt will make a better formula and I will be able to change my mind. However, if you just want these for on top of text and the ability to erase highlights is important for you these work well enough and have very nice colours.
