another list of batfam headcanons because its finals and im tired

-the kids throw things at bruce when he’s being an ass. cups, pencils, books, silverware, plates, balled up clothing, and one time an entire recliner (jason) bruce only catches what can break on him or break him.  -damian fosters animals regularly and takes great joy in training dogs and rehabilitating wildlife -tim streams on twitch via vtubing to a)conceal his identity and b) make fun of people. his little persona is probably bird themed  -when jason was first adopted he used to follow alfred around the house so not only does he know the butler’s entire schedule but he’s also learned how to be an efficient cleaner. this carries over into every single one of his safe-houses. on top of that jason is the only kid that can cook successfully. 

-steph, jason, and duke take turns commentating on sparring matches like they’re speakers on ESPN. -jason reads frequently to cass and damian. it didn’t start on purpose it just sort of happened and now it is one of his big brother duties. (he does voices, this is why he got chosen for reading. Jason does voices because Alfred does voices)  -every time tim and jason end up on missions together something gets blown up, therefore they have been banned from working on the same missions. -tim and steph keep up with youtuber drama religiously, and keep up with several drama channels like it’s their job. they’ll collect videos throughout the week and binge them all in one night. 

-jason and dick big brother in different ways but they are suddenly on the same page when it comes to tormenting their younger siblings. they will team up and they are terrifying. there’s no escape. (they are also a little too efficient when they go on patrol together. bruce is SO suspicious)

RIP John Romita Sr, THE Spider-Man Artist

Hey, with all of the Spider-Man discussion flying around lately, I absolutely need to stop and call attention to the fact that John Romita Sr just passed. I can't stress enough that this man was a LEGEND. He was THE Spider-Man artist. He was the most prolific Spider-Man artist ever, he drew all of his iconic looks and character designs, and he just made the character. His art is beautiful. I've spent the last few days rereading the 1970s newspaper comics made by Stan Lee and John Romita Sr and talking for ages about how gorgeous the art is, and hearing that he died just now felt incredibly strange.

Spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to start this post so now im just doing it sorry

Phantom gets called cat like by the other heros all the time. Hell some of the league members have even joined in after he met them. Fuck you superman how dare you out his purring

Problem is his new power he started developing. Telekinesis. And it’s very hard to control. Now if he looses focus he starts knocking stuff off shelves or off tables.

Frostbite told him he would keep developing powers till his ghost side was grown but he thought it was done. How many more powers does he need!!!!

Hello! I saw that you had a human design for the Tengu, and I wanted to ask: got any hcs for our bird demon as human? Or just hcs in general, wither will work

Hey! Bro- you won't believe it, but i literally was thinking about Humanized Tengu (for uh- reasons) when I opened tumblr just to see this ask, like deadass??? ad;kjdfdfsa Clearly it was a sign!

But I don't have that many hc about him tbh?? He was a very spontaneous creation for that day, so like here have just some basic info:

the original design i did for ninjavember is kind of how Tengu looked at the prime of his powers in human form, when it/he faced First Ninja.

He is very unnaturally tall, has bone white (practically ashen) skin, with the end of his limbs being dark grey (like literal ash/burned). His body is covered in blue markings like tattoos (very inspired by Law from One Piece haha) and his hair is a mix of feathers and fur-like hair (like birds). He is usually dressed in rich clothes, with his wings acting like sort of cape.

He likes to smoke the pipe ;) its less of actual smoking leaf and more 'energy and fire itself' type of smoking.

He is kind of an asshole, but he greatly (if reluctantly) respects First Ninja because he managed to defeat him and use his powers for his own means. He despises having his powers used by others, but he also kinda respects that it is for a noble cause.

When it comes to Ninjas who came after, he kind of feels like a dad who was forced to take care of kids he never wanted, and those kids literally suck life force out of him, lol.

All the context you get for now is that since the reference image is from the last episode, my guy(gn) here is after one severe beating from Knux(Ekko)(<-reason why the tails look so beaten and you can't see it but one is missing, see; angst reasons) an arm length explosion from their own bomb(realized way too late that the bomb actually blew up on Jinx's right hand side, way too late as in, half of coloring finished already. well in my AU it happened on Nine's left hand side!!!) and a bunch of Dark Gaia juices(Shimmer)(<-will think about the technicalities of thisnkater) injected into them as an effort to keep them from dying

It was as they crossed the very same bridge the miqo'te had once sat on together two years prior when Arsay gifted Y'shtola with a bracelet matching that of her own. A token of endearment which, Arsay confessed, she would have given to her fellow scion back then, had nerves not gotten the best of her. While their relationship has undoubtedly changed since the initial purchase of the jewellery, the sentiment remained the same. Y'shtola was someone who Arsay loved dearly and she will forever be grateful to have the seeker's life intertwined with her own. No matter where their free spirits took them, they would always hold each other in their hearts. A promise Y'shtola was more than willing to keep. She slipped the the string of beads around her wrist without a second thought. They were never to come off, not even when the two decided to delay their return to Radz-at-Han in favour of a private bath at the dead of night.
