there are so many cute and adorable ships, in their own way, that it took me years to select my fav ships, and here they are with rankings:
1. shinyui: aside from shin being embodiment of anger and impatience, i seriously have lost the count of how many times i have re-read his DF route, like the character development and their bonding is so wholesome. the way yui is ready to give up everything even if it means she will have to keep running away from people for the rest of her life with shin, she was ready to throw it all just so she can be with shin and shin trying to push her away so that she can be happy in a comfortable place instead of being stuck with him in his mess and get targeted. even in LE he pushed her away scared that she might get endzeit and suffer from its symptoms and he didn't want her to wither in pain and would rather let himself go through it alone than see her harmed.
2. carlayui: his character development was so smooth and amazing to watch, seeing him and yui bond over books was also adorable to watch especially it was the first time his soft side came out, i think it was also due to Yui that he gave up on taking revenge on karlheinz and instead BOWED to him just to bring yui back to life.
3. shuyui: shu giving yui queen treatment by still being his lazy self>>>>>>>> the difference in shu's behaviour can certainly be seen from the first game and the latest game despite keeping the same lazy attitude. the development is so good, if i keep talking this post will become endless.
4. reiyui: Reiji slowly opening up and protecting yui in his own rational way by planning instead of going all fighting so that she won't be hurt or get involved in this dangerous battle is the best character development. yes he was like that from the start about planning and all that, but he who was prideful and always boosted of being a vampire started to question where vampires come from and if they were originally human in DF route. and he even said that he will choose yui over being a vampire. and in his more blood vampire ending, when little Reiji said how servants are afraid of him and his inventions because his mother and brother are distant from him. Young Reiji also mentioned how he always carries his self made ointment around because his brothers are clumsy but nobody wants to use it. proof he was the best boi from the start in his own way.
5. subayui: SubaruYui was my first ship that i would do anything for. I mean my tsundere gentle boy deserves the whole world. I haven't read HDB routes much because too much violence isn't my cup of tea ik ironic but i did read manga and also his MB route, there was a lot of development I can say. and let me not get started on his DF route, not only in his route but it can be seen that subaru had soft spot/feelings for yui in others' routes too, even in kou's LE route, he didn't give up on Yui. He is very protective of her in anime too, probably why they were my first ship.
6. rukiyui: his DF route and anime is what attracted to me this ship because of all the angst. His MB route and CL route definitely didn't disappoint me. In DF he pushes away Yui to not betray karlheinz but later confronts karl as yui is the most important person and the best thing happened to him in his life aside from his brothers. In the MB he was even ready to become a snake and actually became a snake to take yui away. His CL route felt like I was reading a married couple's life and it was refreshing to read compared to all his other routes which involved angst and drama
7. kouyui: The ups and downs in his MB route for his character development was understandable especially after knowing the kind of environment he was in. there were times when I just wanted to smack kou so badly on his head for his treatment towards yui. Then i read his DF route and it was literally all angst and i think when yui said "what do you mean useless!?!???" when kou said he cannot become Adam while crying, thinking it's useless for Karl's plan but still wants to love her after almost ahem himself from the terrace and Yuma & Azusa saved him from his own pool of blood.
8. azusayui: i just recently started reading his DF route and oh my god he is literally the best boi, I'm still reading his route but he is already getting into my heart because he is such a cinnamon boy 😭.
one of my fav ships is ayayui too but the way all the above ships have raised my standards... i still love them and enjoy their content.

hello! ur posts on the vagus nerve and its connections to digestions have encouraged me to do a lil mini dissertation thingy kinda focused on it/around it, ur big thread on PVT and everything really piqued my interest when i read it and i just held onto it for like a year or smthing until like last week when i started the project. Ik u said recently in one of ur posts i believe that ur not going to post the big dirk PVT post and im not here to be like yo post it because i also think u said that ur kinda moving away from like hs/dirky stuff rn ?? (im forgetting if i saw that sorry) but yeah i just wanted to say thank u etc etc, like ive never done an ask before so sorry if this is phrased weirdly but ur blog is just like one of those blogs that fundamentally changed how i view certain things in life for the better lol, like whether its ur beautiful representations / depictions of mental health in like just beautifully painted art (seriously the way u make it look like idk how to word it cartoony/really 2d but then it stands out against the background + if u zoom in and see the tiny pixel details == it makes me mad) or just like the huggeee long form posts that i like to chew on and save cuz theres so many details that AFFAAT like the way you talk abt the topics u portray has made me concious of how i would want to do so in the same way ig u get me. anyway this got really long and idk if i come across coherently, but ur just a random person on the internet whos art and written thoughts that u decide to share makes me happy when i see it == makes me pace around my room and distract me from this fat essay lmao so tldr: i really appreciate what u do + i hope like that ur doing well and that u keep arting and thoughting no matter what it is that u choose to focus on

Hello! I’m sorry this reply is coming so late, this ask in particular is very sweet and has stuck out to me.
I’m really happy to have introduced you to PVT, this is something I’ve heard from a few different people on here and it’s very sweet… I did my thesis on it in college and the time really flew by while working on it, things you don't think could possibly attributed to "nerve issues" being nerve issues is always an eye-opener, isn't it? being able to research things that interest you & access information in general really is a privilege in this day and age.
“The topics [I] portray” are very important to me, so it’s heartening when others take interest in spite of the obvious deterrents. A lot of what I love making art about is unpalatable to most, and while I do understand the reasons for that on principle, it can make things feel a little insular. I genuinely believe there’s a lot of value in depicting tableaus of misery.
The last year has brought a lot of very unforeseen changes, and my life is quite different from when I initially made this blog to post about him! That’s also part of why I’ve been so sparse here…though I’m working to change that quite soon. I love sharing my work, and I’ve had the privilege of meeting some truly wonderful people through this website. That said…with where I’m at now, I’m not sure I’ll be posting the Dirk essay anytime soon, I’m afraid.
I’ve undertaken a few ongoing projects, one of which in particular is an original project I plan on sharing publicly here hopefully within the next month or so. I hope it’s something you & anyone else who’s stuck around with me here will enjoy, but failing that, I’ve really enjoyed working on it thus far.

dragon religion is an idea i think that is rlly awesome. i hope tui goes over it in the guide, anyway. if u have any specific religion ideas / hcs for dragons.. would they have jobs ?? like dragon priests orrrr idk tbh. sorry if this question is annoying im obsessed w the idea of dragons having religion and religion-based jobs
Originally I had like. a whole "series" of like. ideas for each tribe's religion and mythology, but in the interest of actually replying I'll do like. quick bullet points here and I'll try to fill in more later on ^^;;.
I have like. a lot of abstract feelings n concepts because I've always found it interesting how,,, little religion there is in wof at all. There's barely even really "magic", with only really animuses. wof's characters are occasionally superstitious, but all their superstition is based in like- historical events, like Darkstalker or Queen Oasis's murder, and not like. magic. so I want to keep some of that true because I think it's really fitting for a setting of dragons (who have historically usually *been* the gods, rather than the worshippers !!!) and it's also a rare opportunity to like. get into society without religion (this is a hostile zone for the great ice dragon, I'm sorry I Do Not Care About You and your One Off Mention, God Bless)
ANYWAY. Posting this under the cut bc it's kind of massive, read at ur own risk lol (cw for talk of death/funeral rites but that's really it)
Skywings:
Skywings for me have always been the clearest as like. focusing on historic figures as "saints" (though ik that's a pretty christian concept and word, just hang in there I prommy it goes places)
Point being- I've written about it before here, but for Skywings, the sky is alive and holy in its own right. They view it as the foundation of life and believe themselves (and all dragons, though the other tribes abandoned their way of living) as children of it, originally like birds.
It has some slight. monarchist overtures to it with how the sky itself is like an omnipresent parent, and its moods and shifting currents can be seen as a reflection of Skywing culture. When the sky is angry and casting out its children, there is a lesson that needs to be learned, and it is the collective punishment of all Skywings until the problem is fixed.
But past that, Skywings who achieve remarkable things can be recognized as local guardians and figures of protection- when Skywings die, they return to the sky in the form of clouds. Some Skywings also believe birds to be reincarnated Skywings, especially the spirits of those who rebuke the sky and strike off on their own (which is not an inherently bad thing, but a symbol of independence in its most neutral)
Some Skywing patrons I was thinking of were: the patron of duty- the first Skywing soldier, the patron of children/joy- the first kitemaker, the patron of guardians/parents- the lamplighter, and the patron of Skywing excellence/patriotism- the stormchaser.
Miners who die in Skywing tunnels also achieve something akin to a martyr status- spirits of those who bravely sacrificed their time in the sky to keep the caverns safe and protect those who would follow them. Not one patron, but the collective protection of spirits trapped underneath the ground
Sandwings
Sandwings are similar, but different: where Skywings have patrons who have been given a certain holy power, Sandwings have two kinds of spirits: the family spirits and folk heroes
I swear to god I wrote a Sandwing headcanon post, but I genuinely can't find it at all I don't know where it went. FOUND IT WHILE LOOKING FOR MY ICEWINGS POSTS. READ IT HERE. anyway tho starting with house/family spirits: Sandwings tend towards multigenerational homes, moreso than many other tribes, and remembering your family becomes increasingly important when there's so many of you
Most Sandwing houses keep a small shrine or altar for their dead relatives and their family history- some households have patron animals or spirits that they invoke for a little extra boost of fortune but these aren't like family crests as much as your family's,,, collective mythos
The Sandwing creation myth involves the First Sandwing tricking each animal into giving them a piece of themselves- the stinger and venom from scorpions, the quickness and wit of jackals, the resilience and scales of the lizards, and finally just snatching the wings and size from dragonbite vipers who used to rule the desert, who were reduced to their small snake status and have hated every Sandwing since. So if you want to pay special homage to your family being intelligent, the jackal might be your patron
This creation myth varies WILDLY- it can include many different animals or different exact retellings on what the original Sandwing tricked the animals into giving them, so patrons can vary and can be very house-specific
(I have a little draft, somewhere, of Thorn teaching Qibli her family history post-adoption/rescue and it being one of the moments that Qibli really starts to view her as family and not just the next Cobra)
Sandwing folk heroes are also super varied- I subscribe to Sandwings having a heavy oral storytelling tradition and general,,, art culture, so I'm not gonna write every single possible story you could tell with Sandwing folk heroes, but most of them embody those original Sandwing virtues- resilience, intelligence, and quick adaptability to come out on top
Mudwings
Mudwings already have their own dedicated post !!! yippeeeeee !!!! you can read it right over here :>
Mudwings are also big big oral storytellers but unlike Sandwings the gods are a more active part of these stories and the focus is rarely on individual Mudwings as much as the dynamics of the gods' dynamic as a sibling troupe.
Rarely,,, "worshipped" in the way Skywings will venerate their patrons or Sandwings will maintain their shrines, but passively appealed to and celebrated as like. the broadest encapsulation of what it is to be a Mudwing- the way they're moved by the seasons and their families moreso than anything else
Icewings
I wrote more lists originally about Icewing superstitions, which are right here, and I stand by basically all of that. I don't really know how to incorporate gods into that but I think a lot of Icewing superstition is just. vague cultural paranoia about Things Out There
Icewings have the strongest death beliefs/rituals out of any of the tribes imo- Icewing bodies need to be properly buried or the souls don't get to return to the soil, and become stuck on the ice.
Icewing funerals depend on if you live inland or on the coast- burials at sea are common for Icewings on the coast to allow the body to be taken by the water and allowed to disperse that way (though only when the ice isn't frozen over, as otherwise it may become trapped), and Icewings inland prefer open-air/sky burials that allow the body to decompose in nature.
Winter deaths are seen as bad luck, and are given extra caution and work (which also ties into Winter's role as a black sheep in the family- it's a bit of a dark name to give your child, especially as the youngest/least wanted heir of the family)
Great Ice Dragon,,,, I have no ideas for, I imagine just the source of all Icewings and their father who ensures that, despite it all, they can survive.
Seawings
least religious lets goooooooo
Seawings are just. straight up vibing. They're the most down to earth about being alive in the sense they're just animals like everything else (though they still have their own mixed feelings about dolphins from canon)
Seawings do put a lot of stock into destiny and fate though- almost as much as Nightwings, and they have a healthy stargazing culture and track the changing of seasons and time through the stars more than anything else.
Some Seawings think of themselves as fallen stars- scales still glowing from their core of starlight. Seawings who die return to the sky and come back in the form of comets, it's especially good luck to be born under a meteor shower.
Another common superstition is a Seawing's personal star- this can be as serious as knowing exactly where it is in the sky, or as lax as pointing to one and declaring it yours. This is the star that determins your destiny and is your personal guardian, you can look to it for good luck (plus if you pick right it can be a neat way to teach your children how to navigate).
Seawings LOVE tall-tales though. Almost everyone has a story of the time they 10000% saw A Sea Monster or a dolphin spoke to them in riddles, etc etc. Half the words out of a Seawing sailor's mouth are lies, and the other half are exagerrated beyond all reason (except of course,,, for the ones that are true)
This drives other tribes insane btw, especially the more devout ones like Skywings and Icewings. How are you going to make that shit up every time pls be serious for one moment (never)
Nightwings
The other least religious, but this time for complicated cultural reasons of. well. volcano.
Nightwings love science until they don't, essentially. Everything has a reason except the things we don't understand which are mysteries from beyond the pale that we just have to hope will one day become clear.
TL;DR: SO MANY GHOSTS. EVERYTHING IS HAUNTED.
Nightwings are like the closest to a lot of real world agnosticism- it could be real, but we just don't know yet. Lots of ghost sightings though and subtle signals from the universe. It's a bit of a collective coping mechanism for the loss of their powers + the amount of dragons, like Fatespeaker, who were born under the full moons but without a clear sky and thus only left with confusing powers.
(slaps the side of the canon Nightwing art) These bad boys can fit so much victorian ghost fear in them <3
Mastermind has and 100% would again drink absinthe to perform a seance to Nightwing seers of the past, prove me wrong
I think in older Nightwing mythology, there would have been lots of smaller gods and domains- complicated webs of connected esoteric spirits who each vied for power over the material world through their domains and contact with dragons.
The heart of it all is the Moons though- the three sisters of chance/luck, destiny/death, and soul. Something akin to the three fates but each in collaboration with each other over life.
In ye really olden days, some sects thought these spirits worked through scavengers. These guys are pretty broadly considered a strange cult though, and the history is scant at best.
Clearsight and Darkstalker would've grown up aware of these gods but given special privilege due to their powers- mostly as people exempt from the gods due to their connection to the moons as something surpassing the petty whims of spirits. Priests and priestesses would be preferred as powerless, as a clear head is needed to communicate with the gods fully.
Rainwings
Souls !! lots of souls !! Rainwings believe everything has a beating pulse and could be slash is alive in their own unique way.
The Rainwing gods are serpents- wingless but capable of moving through the trees as though they were flying, their scales a constant mass of brilliant colors. Names and identities are a WIP for me, bear with me as I flesh out these guys ;U;
Rainwings are big storytellers as well, and tend to create their own ideas and religions, in a sense. Being a puppeteer and performer especially is the closest to being a priest that a Rainwing can get- by embodying other things you are essentially changing your soul to align with them
Rainwings also aren't. super religious as much as just committed each to their own truth over a collective myth or story. Each Rainwing builds their own unique sense of mythology from the rainforest.
No gods no masters only fruit >:3c
I have some wips for each of these, some of them fics, some of them elaborations and continued myths, but I hope y'all enjoy them !!! All feedback welcome, as always.

hey guys! i know yall have been waiting for this for a few days and im proud to say that i finally have the whole timeline/backstory for bunny and i's adventure time ship lore sorted out!!!
so im proud to present our lore in extreme detail, its kinda rambly and very long!!
for yalls sake, im putting it under a read more 💀
kitty note: a lot of at’s canon events still happen, most of canon resides in the past, betty never comes back, so golb is never summoned. islands happens but no humans come back to ooo in fear of vampires, which are still an issue since marceline isnt alive either (referring back to the fact wk has ice marcy, implying something bad happened to her). some other canon events happen later on, so the timeline compared to ats is all over the place lol 😭 this has nothing in common with the f&c canon outside of the bare bones
for colored quotes, pink are for kitty, bold purple is for bonbon, blue for the wk and red for bunny :)
ik/wk gets ahold of the crown & puts it on in front of betty
betty doesnt get summoned to the present, she moves on after leaving simon
ik/wk meets marcy & has her for a couple of years before passing away (either due to the radiation from the gmw or due to the oozers that came from the radiation)
the original ice kingdom builds up around 500 years after gmw
kitty becomes princess of the stuffie kingdom about 700 years post-mushroom war
they meet princess bubblegum during a princess day celebration
this one is hosted in the breakfast kingdom
they get along famously during this princess day meeting & become fast friends
kitty meets ik/wk due to his princess kidnapping tendencies
kitty, once settled into his ice cell, informs him that theyre a lesbian
ik apologizes & they end up talking about girls until they get rescued
kitty & ik’s relationship mirrors marcy and simons post i remember you
BIG father/daughter type bond
after 150 years of friendship, kitty & pb persue a romantic relationship
their relationship is pretty healthy to begin with while both of their kingdoms are in infancy (725 years post gmw)
after ~200 years, theres a communication breakdown between the two of them, leading to their breakup
it takes a good amount of time before the two of them get back together- koo’s election still happens & she loses the ck for a while, which allows for their reunion to happen
bella noche gets summoned & ice king becomes simon again
this is the first time kitty gets a glimpse of who ik truly is
this, obviously, is an eye opener for them & they want to help ik gain his lucidity once more
kitty takes betty’s place in punching bella noche
marcy, as stated before, has passed & hambo is long gone, which prevents simon from creating the portal to apologize to betty
after bella noche’s defeat and kitty’s discovery, they ask bonnie for help in their quest to fix/cure the ik
bonnie agrees & offers to do some preliminary research on ik’s crown while kitty is away on royal business
bonnie uses the machine from “broke his crown”
ice king comes along with gunter
while ik and bonnie are using the machine & preoccupied, gunter is bored & starts pressing any and every button on the machine
this causes the machine to overload and explode
this accident transfers the curse of the crown from ik to bonnie via electric shock (from the explosion)/magic (the explosion malfunctions ik’s crown & the curse is transferred)
bonnie has amnesia from the crown curse
kitty returns from royal business and cant find ik anywhere and finds bonnie’s lab destroyed
kitty comes across bonnie, now bonbon, first
“…trying out a new look bonbon?”
“who’s bonbon? who are you? how did you get in here?”
bonbon is kind of aggressive, her mental state is adjusting to the curse
kitty, freaked out, goes in search of the ik, who is now the winter king
they finally come across wk while searching deep in the newly-forming winter kingdom
they ask him what happened & he genuinely has no idea what happened exactly, but offers to use his newfound conscious thought to help figure things out
kitty thanks him & they return back to their own kingdom
over the course of the next six months, kitty tries to adjust to bonbon’s changes & tries to help her remember
bonbon shows no interest in kitty, as the curse’s infatuation sets her sights on wk
kitty tries (and fails!) to ignore this & they try to help bonbon regain her memories
“i just got you back and ive lost you again” energy
kitty approaches wk & tells him that theyre going to be leaving to find a cure for bonbon’s madness & they werent sure when they would return
kitty’s sibling becomes the main one in charge in their absence & it stays this way
they lose touch with the wk after some time, leading him to believe they might be injured or worse- dead
kitty spends ~7.5 decades looking for a magic cure where both wk can continue to be wk and bonbon can turn back to normal to no avail
kitty meets magic man outside of the wastelands of ooo, where he promises to help in exchange for a favor
he’s still trying to steal glob/gob/grob/grod’s residual powers
the process malfunctions due to an interruption & magic mans powers transfers to kitty, making them magic woman
for the remaining 25 years before they return, they do intensive and obsessive magic studies in order to find a cure
they also occasionally watch bonbon from afar, watching the candy kingdom be rebuilt & just seeing how she’s doing
it is very painful for them but they miss her so much that they cant help themselves sometimes
bunny, age 24 by the time the 100 years have passed, meets winter king while assisting the ice scouts with another one of cq’s kidnappings
bunny is related to finn since josuha treated being an adventurer like a family business, so the tradition carries
impressed by their skill, wk appoints bunny to be his personal body guard due to their skill with a sword
since theyre always together, wk and bunny get to know each other rather quickly & become fast friends, bonding over magic and science
after some time, wk finds himself falling for bunny and he is not shy about those feelings in the slightest
he constantly flirts with them & makes it known that he likes them
bunny is oblivious + has had a crush on wk by this point anyway
wk takes bunny to some royal business & they get stressed out by all the people there/feeling like they dont belong due to the fancy event
wk takes bunny aside and gives them a pep-talk, a sweet one at that
“i wouldnt have invited you if i didnt think you wouldnt belong”
his hand is gently sliding towards theirs, interconnecting their fingers
“i brought you as my date for a reason..”
bunny.exe has stopped working
they confess their feelings to each other & they spend the rest of the event away from everyone, talking the night away.
wk and bunny enter a romantic relationship
two years pass & wk needs to go to wizard city, bunny accompanies him
the two run into kitty, causing a whole mess of emotions to run through wk- not good ones
kitty starts coming around more & becomes friends with bunny
kitty’s sudden reappearance is stirring up a lot of bad memories, thoughts & feelings with wk. despite this, the two are slowly rekindling a friendship
due to the bad feelings, wk is pulling away from bunny & is drowning himself in his work, this is a slow process, it takes a few weeks before bunny says anything
the stress of emotions is reaching to the point where he’s starting to see so much of betty in bunny & its scaring him
not to mention he’s feeling guilty about something…👀
during wk’s slow pull-back, bunny and kitty are venting to each other about their respective issues
my sona reveals that bonbon wasnt always the way she was & tells the story from their own perspective
bunny, having no idea this ever happened, decides to confront wk about his distance & why he never told them that he knew what was wrong with bonbon
during this confrontation, wk finally breaks down and reveals to bunny everything about what has happened & his thoughts
“you remind me so much of her..”
he also reveals the fact that there is a cure for bonbon’s madness that he discovered during kitty’s absence, but the caveat is that he would become the ik again. theres no way to be fully rid of the curse.
“are you ever going to tell kitty?”
“no. ive worked so hard for what ive had & i dont want to lose it.”
“but you really should, its unfair to them to hold onto hope that isnt th-“
“im not telling them!” he snaps at them
after he snaps at bunny, they decide that they need to think about things for a while & they spend the next few months in the magic man house with kitty
at some point during this period, kitty decides to go on a date with bonbon, mirroring bespoken for
rather than getting angry and frustrated like betty, they get progressively more upset and sad
during their breakdown, they reveal to bonbon that they used to date
bonbon later thinks about this & it begins the crowns obsession/infatuation slow shift from wk to kitty
this date doesn’t go well & kitty ends it early
bunny’s sona is the one to give the tiny manticore speech
“maybe you're going after someone who doesn't exist anymore. why not take her as she is? after all, you’ve been through a lot of changes yourself”
kitty takes bunny’s speech to heart & they think it over, but not immediately
on wk’s side of things, he is miserable and alone & wants nothing more than to apologize to bunny
he seeks out kitty, who takes him to the magic man house
he apologizes profusely

this date goes well & they continue to go on dates, falling in love with each other all over again
bunny and wk finally find a way to tell kitty that there is a cure but it would reverse everything in wk
my sona, interrupts them before they can say more than “we found a cure-“ and tells the two that they dont want to fix bonbon anymore & that things finally feel the way they should now, ending my sona’s arc
the four of them can finally relax & enjoy life once more & they all become close friends once more :3

Godzilla vs. Megalon 50th Anniversary and the Origin of Jaguarposting
I started this account in November when my Godzilla hyperfixation was in full force thanks to a series rewatch I was doing and G-Fest. A lot of that hyperfixation was focused on Anguirus, Baragon, and Jet Jaguar.
I don’t exactly think they’re great characters or anything, I just kind of gravitated towards them for some reason. I know why for all of them, Anguirus having an off-screen reconciliation with Godzilla while forced to live together on Monster Island was actually sort of neat, I don’t like that we never get to see it and are forced to just assume it happened but its also nice to see something interesting and new, especially since this was at a point where the Showa era just kind of felt like it had grown entirely creatively bankrupt (The last truly creative Showa film is Hedorah, ik its a polarizing movie and I think that actually kind of proves my point a little). For Baragon, its that I just found it funny how they paired him with two far more popular monsters for this movie and then had him get his shit wrecked really quickly (he also has the most creative fight in the movie but I’m pretty sure I just liked him cause he’s a jobber). And for Jet Jaguar, its sort of hard to say. I know most of the western fanbase for the character likes him because of MST3K, but I never watched the GvM episode (except the Jet Jaguar song sub but that was after the hyperfixation kicked in).
The only reason I can think of is that he’s just funny to me. He’s basically the star character of this movie he isn’t in the title of and his plot just goes all over the place. He starts the movie as the invention of an engineer who wants to protect the world by piloting a robotic suit (which, considering there is an island full of monsters that is so poorly secured they could just leave anytime they wanted if they can swim or fly (almost all of them can), which they did in the last movie, its understandable why he’d do this). And by the end the suit has gained full sentience, befriended Godzilla, and defeated a bunch of underground men who control a giant bug with a drill head and drill hands. There isn’t that much explanation for most of these things either, they just sort of happen suddenly. Godzilla vs. Megalon is a terrible, terrible movie, and Jet Jaguar is the central character. Godzilla vs. Megalon is also an immensely enjoyable movie that I have subjected multiple people to so that I could see their reactions. I love it, its so fun, and Jet Jaguar is a big part of why the movie is so fun. He’s so fucking silly and stupid, I love him.
I said its hard to say why I like Jet Jaguar as much as I do, but its not impossible, in fact I basically just did. This overly long post has been mostly me saying why I like Jet Jaguar. But I haven’t really talked about Jaguarposting. Why the fuck do I post this guy? Because he’s funny to me, I made Baragon my Discord pfp for a while because he’s funny to me to. Its not super complicated, I am a very simple man. I main Blanka and Faust because they’re goofy guys, and in the same vein, I fixate on Jet Jaguar because he’s a goofy guy. The legacy of Godzilla vs. Megalon is that its a stupid fucking movie. Jaguarposting is a celebration of that movie’s stupidity, the idea that a post is funny solely because it features a character from the film.
I didn’t realize March 17th was Megalon’s birthday, I didn’t see any posts about it on the day and didn’t have the date committed to memory. So this post is late. But I still want to wish GvM a happy 50th. Maybe go watch it in it’s honor and hopefully see what I’ve been rambling on about for this long.
If you don’t know what Jaguarposting is, don’t worry, I’ve only ever used the term once and made like 5 posts in the genre across all social media. However its my first post on Tumblr, so I felt it was about time to explain myself.

*shuffles out of bedroom with walker* Can I tell you kids about what it was like back in the day here, 10 years ago, on Tumblr in the Phantasy Star fandom? Again?
90% of posts were wordpress links about PSO2. I’m not kidding, that’s what the majority of the Phantasy Star tag was. There was also a few blogs doing posting for the original games, but when it came to PSO1, there was nothing, which is why I created this blog.
I created this blog with limited gif making experience, and the majority of this blog’s earlier postings was fanart I’d find online with the source provided. I created this blog for pretty selfish reasons because...I wanted to make an assload of PSO content for my main blog. Instead, this blog became the main blog. After I created this blog, a few other Phantasy Star related blogs popped up. Sadly, those blogs are no longer around to my knowledge.
Anyway I stopped posting fanart because I’d get upset when my GIFs got reposted on here. Ik there’s a difference but after that I just felt disrespectful reposting art.
Fast forward to current *wipes happy tears*
I see MANY Phantasy Star URLs!!!! THERE’S POSTING IN THE TAGS. THERE’S SOME OF US STREAMING IT AND OTHERS WATCHING AND OTHERS JOINING. THERES. ARTISTS. HERE!!!!!

hey man, i happened to see the post you reblogged and i wanted you to know- the OP did a follow-up poll asking some clarifying questions
according to the data, most people who participate in fandoms they haven't read the source material of are doing so passively; they read fics or look at art of stuff. the percentage of people who create without having consumed any source material was like, 3%?
anyway all that is to say i think its actually a good thing that people arent married to only enjoying the creative works of fandoms theyre already in- there's no reason to hate anyone! at least not in tnis case
i mean, i think we've all read a cool crossover fic for a fandom we're in and spent a day or two going down the rabbit hole of fic rec lists for the Other Thing. and thats good!
i mean, i personally think "i was able to understand and enjoy this art you've made without required reading the original thing it was based on" is a high compliment, actually.

ok ok I'm doing the silly and. talking abt my writing and showing parts of it and you gotta promise not to judge me and even if you find it cringe keep it to yourself pls be nice to me i am very sensitive!!!!!! anyway.
(tw for general depressing shit, mentions of death and implied csa near the end) (also this got so long I'm so sorry)
so the latest song(?) i wrote is called קלף טאקי בשולחן פוקר which is a reference to a local meme lol. i think i mentioned it before but if you missed it, it roughly translates to "uno card at a poker table". i think you can already guess what the topic of the song is. i actually wrote it after months of not writing anything and it felt like some of the grime on my brain was scrubbed off god bless
i have a file of a bunch of lines i come up with and don't know where to put yet and some of them are actually lifted from vent posts i make here and. this song was the first time i used smth from that file!! yippee!!!!
anyway i am not posting the whole thing bc my rhyming is. not good but I'll post some of my favorite parts in it i think. starting with
the lines the song opens with! originally it was called "unfit" (this word will come later too) but i wanted to get silly with it, hence the meme reference
speaking of references, that second line is one, to "avalanche" by bring me the horizon. great depression song go listen to it if you haven't yet. i kept thinking abt that line while writing and eventually i went "sure why not, may as well pay a tiny homage to one of my fav bands ever"
these are the opening lines of the second verse^
ik the length of the first one is a bit much compared to others and esp the first verse (see above), but this is one of the lines i grabbed from the aforementioned collection file and i was too attached to it to change it. i feel like once there's music and shit it might solve this
anyway i feel like here it's clearer what the topic actually is (the chorus also helps, but we'll get to that later) - having to be fake and pretending to be someone else in order for people to like you. the song wasn't originally supposed to be abt that but ngl most of what i write eventually comes to this lol (i think i have at least 3 other pieces about this oof <- joker kinnie)
this one!!!!! is a reference!!!!! to a play i liked as a teen and used a monologue from multiple times in acting school (everyone in the class loved the way i did it and asked me to keep using it in stuff and who am i to say no), dentity crisis by christopher durang!! it's about, well, identity crises lol, and eventually the main character loses herself trying to make sense of the people around her and the chaos of her life so naturally it felt like a fitting reference to make, esp with the whole theater theme
this is the. i wanna say bridge but idk all the right terminology oof. like the part before the final chorus+outro.
i think you might've picked up by now that this is a bit of a silly, somewhat sarcastic song on some level, hence the improv line lmao
when i hear this part in my head it's very dramatic, lots of belting like a broadway showstopper, mixed with some. almost spoken, yet still sing-song-y lines
and here the whole theater motif really picks up the pace too. honestly this one appears in a lot of my writing for obvious reasons, but it's especially fitting when the song is literally about pretending to be someone else in order to be loved
the game thing peeks its head in the first chorus which we will get into in a sec, but either way i think it goes hand in hand. games are often abt getting into the shoes of another character yknow? and there's a whole play on the word, well, play lol. and how it's both for games and for acting (in my first language we straight up don't have another word like "act". it's just the same as play and that's it. so maybe it works better in my head for that reason idk!)
music wise i imagine in the last 2~ lines the beat starts to slow down, the notes become a bit higher, every syllable is drawn out for a bit longer, and in "stops" there's a short pause before the final chorus comes in. speaking of!
yeah showing each of them separately would've been a bit too cringey even for me. i don't think they're good as standalones BUT i like them together paralleling each other. it's smth i like to do in almost every song i write tbh, and very often i switch between "i" "you" and "we" as the song keeps going, to sort of draw the listener/reader in and let them become a part of the "narrative" if they want to and relate to it hehe. kind of make them (and me) feel less alone in this feeling
second chorus talking abt masks is once again smth i put in a lot of what i write (<- joker kinnie. again) askflglg sorry for not being original it will happen again 👍 but what can i say, it's relevant to the topic!!
in the last one i tried adding some sense of urgency. a reminder that this comes after the build up of the bridge, so it'll either be more intense or more quiet. haven't decided yet.
"maybe one day I'll fit" goes with the original "unfit" idea. bc at the end of the day this is what it's all about yknow? gotta make up a humansona and constantly roleplay as it to get through.
and through that "maybe one day" sentiment I'll slide into the outro. it's less sung than it is spoken sing-songly and dramatically to the beat (speaking of, i imagine a slight key change by now, as well as the music itself becoming more chaotic and intense and messy for this part), so i didn't bother much with rhyming or a steady pace heh
i mean. can it really be something i wrote without at least one reference to death and/or being a slut (<- dazai kinnie).
actually ironically "better die as myself than be loved as a character" might be my favorite line in the whole thing bc. well as i said the song is sarcastic. in its essence it's about being TIRED of pretending to be someone else. it's about how it's not something you actually want, you only want its benefits. but eventually, at the end of the song, you're just too tired to keep it up. all shows have to end eventually. and, this connects back to the first chorus - "maybe one day I'll be myself", kind of implying this one day might be in death, since all of life is pretending (only good vibes and fun on this blog ♡)
but. not dead yet. and i still want the benefits. so better find an alternative! nobody needs to know who you are if you've got tits they can touch! - is what i learned growing up and as a teen it never failed me lol.
so, the song ends with finally taking off the mask, but. taking off everything else in the process as well. all for being wanted, or the pretense of being loved, because that's the only thing that matters 👌

hows ur portrayal?? hows your portrayal???? do i even NEED to speak about my opinion of your portrayal. your will quite literally drives me insane in the best way possible. have i stated the fact that i was entirely indifferent about william afton before i stumbled upon you + your portrayal of him because its true. you singlehandedly made me so incredibly mentally ill about this man its not even funny. hes sosososo interesting i absolutely adore the way you interpret him i want to examine him under a microscope. i can tell youve put so much thought into him as a person past what most people in the community do and i just. i dont know how to explain it. ive said it before this blog right here is literally the reason i joined the tumblr rpc bc i was just . i dunno i was just in awe. every thread i have with ur will ( and all ur other muses ofc, ur will just drives me insane in a Very Specific Way that is difficult to replicate ) is sososo special to me. i specifically love our pair of fucked up guys i will actually never be over them.

💛 - unpopular opinion? uhhhh fuck this is hard. i'm super conflicted on recovery for my npd. like on one hand yes this is hurting me but on the other hand "i am not giving up my superiority complex so i can live a lie" (that "lie" is that i'm *not* superior to 99% of people, lol). so would i like healthy coping mechanisms? of course. but idk if i would ever want some parts of my npd to ever go away
🤍 - yup, have 'em in my pinned post. they all affect my npd a lot, sometimes npd vs. autism vs. adhd is impossible to distinguish between eachother lol. my MaDD is super funny cuz i'll spend days on end daydreaming about being rich and famous and ect. while refusing to take care of my basic needs lol
💝 - i have so many fun facts about myself it is unreal, i'll go to my favorite one. i almost had to get jaw reconstruction surgery when i was 11. i had such an overbite that none of my teeth touched. but i ended up getting headgear instead. i still have an overbite, albeit way less noticeable, but i think it is cute

🦷- when i was 11 i got therapy for social anxiety but i stopped going for 2 reasons: going to therapy triggered my anxiety and i felt like my therapist was a dumbass who couldn't understand my more superior brain. and then my social anxiety just kinda vanished when i was 12 (no idea how that happened)

and because im extremely very nice and curteous, ill put the rest under a read more. It's a long one.
WORLD BUILDING
Alcmena, which hosts two main systems (System A, the "Rexian System" and System B, the "Regenai System"), is engaged in a centuries long conflict between the ruling "Sovereign Monocracy of Alcmena" and the rebellion faction, "Common People for the Liberation of Alcmena." Most people just call them the Monocracy and the Rebellion. The Monocracy is your pretty standard imperial bad guy government. Here's an excerpt from "A Complete History Of Alcmenan Colonization, From Discovery to Monocratic Liberty" by A.G. Helmber, Monocratic Chief of Education. (planets are labeled on the map above, click for quality.)

Here's the thing though. This isn't the whole story. The Rebellion markets itself as a progressive group championing the rights of the people, but really its just interested in power and maintaining their own status quo (i swear to god this is explored subtly and elegantly in the actual story, ik it sounds very on the nose here).
some more geography/world lore:

REXIAN SYSTEM
orbits a yellow star known as "rex"
capital planet is Vesta, which hosts a government based industry and houses the elite of the elite. It is the oldest of populated planets
The most populous planet is Proserpine, the cultural capital of the galaxy.
Other planets in system are artisan and trade planets. Proserpine has another planet on its orbit path, Tara, which functions as Rex’s “black market”. The Rebellion is eager to establish a presence here.
REGINAI SYSTEM
orbits a yellow star known as "regin"
this system is plagued by war. Intersettlement and interplanetary conflicts are aplenty. That means crime is too.
Lots of culture, lots of thieving.
Lockai and Kavtu were terraformed simultaneously. They are the most technologically advanced planets (after Vesta, of course). Technological research, development, and manufacturing. Lockai and Kavtu share the first wormhole portal (name pending). They have the most cultural exchange.
Nocturam is the planet closest to the sun (called “Regin”), but all of its civilization is cloaked in darkness. Nocturam settlements are just one long interconnected network of open air ships that chase darkness as the world turns. Daytime on Nocturam is scorching and deadly, but night is survivable. Nocturam cities rely on bright neon to light their lives. It’s rumored that on very clear nights, pink and green stars can be seen from Lockai.
We also have some rogue planets not in orbit (my best friend is an astrophysicist ik this isnt how it works but its my story so. shh.)
OUTER PLANETS
Saraneth
A once barren desert planet that was abandoned after the Vestian Civil War of the 3300s. A few settlers who had escaped Vesta managed to harness underground water streams and eventually built a kingdom protected by harsh weather and a dedicated military force.
A true monarchy whose line descends from the original settler family. Currently ruled by Empress Netra Zoras of Saraneth, known as “The Young Queen”, who inherited the throne from her father at age 15 after he died 5 years ago.
The monocracy has trouble navigating the sandstorms that circle around the country of Saraneth, which sits in a 300 kilometer eye of a storm. Only Sarenthian “sandcutters” know how to fly through the storms.
Because of this, Saraneth has remained independent through the last 500 years. They’ve dealt with their own political turmoil and internal conflict, but Saraneth’s political isolation means most details remain unknown.
Sandcutters are tasked with transporting imports and exports between Saraneth and and its trade ports—small villages outside the storm. These villages are heavily guarded and armed by Sarenthian military.
Karrigat
as mentioned before, the airtight fortress of the rebellion. the lore of this planet is in the excerpt from the rebellion source. that's abt all i have.
OK WORLD BUILDING DONE. LETS GET TO THE ACTUAL STORY.
We follow James Huong (F, 40s), the captain of a small crew locked in a contract with the Rebellion. They send her jobs, she gets them done. People used to say "she's got a fast wit and a faster draw," but these days she's just tired. Before she was stuck running dangerous errands with a bunch of goddamn kids, she had a wife and a whole other crew. They were traveling the galaxy, living the dream, but they ended up running jobs for some real nasty mobs. They got caught in the crossfire of a rebellion x monocracy battle during one of their runs, even after James' insisted to their boss that they hold off on the delivery cause it was too dangerous. The boss made them do it anyway and long story short, everyone but James died. She'd sent them into a shuttle to escape and left the ship to defend them, but the shuttle was bombed. This is why James is so weary of being in the rebellion's endless contract. Doesn't matter if you call yourself righteous or entrepreneurial, power is power.
Lets talk about those "goddamn kids."

Charlie Fairside - Engineer
Daya Marneth - Pilot
T'arin Thone - .....unknown
Aurora (F, 20s) mostly goes by Keane (tho Charlie can get away with "Rors" on occasion). Her life has not been easy. She's got distinct facial tattoos along her cheek and brow bones --- the markings of a Monocracy soldier. I'll let this outline tell the story.
she's deeply emotionally stunted (understandably). i love her. so much.
charlie (M, 20s) was raised on a manufacturing planet (think like industrial revolution) and is one of like 9 siblings. he left the planet to find work and sends almost all of his money back home. he's the engineer and keeps the ship running, but his family doesn't know that the ship he works on does some….less than legal things. he's a golden retriever but is holding a lot pent up inside.
he and aurora have an interesting relationship. aurora carries a lot of guilt (for obvious reasons) and charlie's the first person she opens up to about her past (after james, but that happened pretty soon after they met bc she was being arrested and questions were raised). charlie says he left his family to find work but really he just didn't want to live and die there. his dad was gonna retire and he was going to have to become the head of the household, so he runs. he feels extremely guilty about leaving his family and so he and aurora kind of bond over the fact that they both think they are the worst person in the universe. but also they think the other person is insane for thinking that because what the fuck you're literally the best person i know. it takes them a VERY LONG TIME TO GET TOGETHER. LIKE. SEASONS. we're slowburning friends to lovers babyyyyy. it's hard though. aurora is emotionally stunted (as previously stated) has issues communicating. charlie also is convinced aurora is gonna realize she deserves better and leave him, so he is often flexible to a fault and doesn't prioritize his needs at all. but once they sort their shit out their perfect for each other. yin & yang, good in the bad and bad in the good and all that. i love them so much.
daya....daya (F, 20s) is my babygirl. oh my god. so, charlie showed up on the ship around the same time as daya, who got there just a few months before. after finishing a job, aurora and james come back to find some random girl trying to steal their ship. and not just trying...succeeding. Daya gets the ship well in the air before aurora shoots down one of the ship's thrusters with a hand missile (don't ask me how that works. james starts yelling at aurora because now the ship's gonna crash and they dont have the kind of money to fix that kind of damage and what were you thinking?!?! but daya manages to pilot the ship down safely with literally no extra damage. so. now she's their pilot. She and charlie become fast friends. they have to work together a lot because they're in charge of keeping the ship running. somehow they both act like they're the other's little sibling.
here's the thing about daya, though.
no one knows it, but shes got a little sister. Netra. her full name is Princess Netr'ada of Saraneth---well, Empress now. Daya doesn't find out until an old newspaper shows up in a swapmeet a few years later, but their father has died and Netra has taken the throne. Saraneth is a desert planet, kind of like Arrakis in Dune, but its got an ever-present sandstorm engulfing most of the planet. Saraneth sits in the eye of the storm. The sky is heavily guarded by Saraneth's navy so the only way in or out is through the storm, a journey only the most highly trained Saranethians can lead. The storm, and the galaxy's dependence on Saraneth's exports, are why Saraneth remains one of the last planets independent of rebellion and monocracy rule. Daya Marneth (or Princess Dayamare of Saraneth, missing - presumed dead) snuck onto a naval ship when she was 19 and never looked back. She loves Saraneth, but it's not without issues. Daya couldn't stay. (Whether she is selfish for leaving is up for debate.) She tried to get Netra to come with her, but they fought and Netra refused. In a few months, Daya will find a paper that says Queen Netr'ada has birthed an heir. In a few years, she'll find out it was a baby boy.
remember how i mentioned Saraneth's exports? the planet of Saraneth holds rich vains of a mineral that activates most of the technology in the galaxy. Sort of equivalent to cobalt in our world, though i know jack shit about how tech irl works so dont @ me. Unfortunately this means the monocracy is highly dependent on Saraneth. Its a miniature cold war: we have the weapons to annihilate your entire planet, but you have a monopoly on tech so… And yeah, everyone assumes Daya is dead, but if she isn't….if the monocracy can track her down, make her divulge information about Saraneth's security…..maybe they can take Saraneth for themselves.
This is where Mirene Cautsa (F 20s) comes in! She's a monocratic assassin who's hunting Daya down like her life depends on it because...it kind of does. She's always been top of her class, but the monocracy doesn't take kindly to failures. She's cutthroat, cunning, and totally doesn't have any kind of empathy for Daya who clearly is just a girl trying to find happiness and she's totally not jealous of how free Daya lets herself be or how she doesn't seem to hate Mirene even though she has every reason too and Mirene totally doesn't notice the way Daya's hair brushes the hollow of her collarbone and oh shit. that's right. we're doing enemies to lovers babyyyyyy. and they're LESBIANS.
on daya's end of this, shes extremely frustrated because mirene never communicates why shes hunting her. blah blah blah plot i havent written yet but eventually mirene ditches the monocracy for the rebellion (which honestly is worse) and they start…dating? they dont know what to call it. but then mirene gets called on a rebel mission and they fight because mirene thinks she needs to pay for the harm shes caused but daya thinks shes trading in one bad thing for another cause shes scared to be her own person! individual growth happens and then they meet again on a battlefield and before they can even have a conversation, they save each others lives wordlessly. mwah ofc happily ever after.
now. you're probably thinking. god. so its just james and these chaotic twenty-somethings. jesus christ. well, do not fear! Meet T'arin (M, 40s) . Him joining the crew is the first story we ever get. he's a monocratic aristocrat who's been working as a rebellion spy for years, but his cover is blown. it's the crew's responsibility to get him out. they save him and somehow he ends up a permanent part of the crew. he is the empathetic counterpart to james' weariness. They balance each other out. by the end of the story, they are life partners. Romantic, platonic, familial, its not really clear. But when the dust settles and they all have to part ways, T'arin stays by James' side.

What made you so interested in Lennon and Janov thing?
Anon, I love you for asking this!! :))
What I initially wanted to make a post on was simply whether Arthur Janov gave John Lennon gay-conversion therapy (which I ofc did make a post on, here). It was originally going to be just that singular post on the subject, which I wanted to make because I had new contributions to offer to the discussion.
But while I was researching that project, I began reading up on who Arthur Janov was, and what primal scream therapy actually is, and although its a bit of a task finding sources directly related to John Lennon, I found that theres actually a lot of literature dedicated to critiquing Primal Therapies and Arthur Janov specifically (as well the centre for Feeling Therapy, which I will probably discuss in my third essay).
So although I didn’t intend to acquire the amount of knowledge on PST as I have now, it just became very clear to me during my research that theres still a lot to be talked about in terms of Arthur Janov’s influence on John Lennon, and so my interest in the subject has just spiralled from there. Its almost like John is a case study in why the therapy just doesn’t work, and is generally harmful to its patients [and ik that sounds a little cold and detached, but I don’t think it will come off that way in part 2 and 3 of the series, since Im still ofc very sympathetic towards John. Like it just makes me Sad that he never got the type of therapy (and therapist) he really needed and deserved :/]
I don’t want to reveal too much here on what the next additions to the series will be on, just because the Evil Egomaniac in my brain doesn’t want people to 'steal' my ideas before I get a chance to talk about them—although if anyone would like to know just shoot me a dm and Ill tell you the gist of my plans for the future additions!
Im also planning to write a book on this someday, since despite there being so much literature written by psychologists dedicated to discrediting and debunking Arthur Janov’s primal therapy, there’s very little—if any—Beatle-related literature dedicated to the topic. Most biographers tend to only dedicate a few pages to it, either saying effectively: “the therapy was GREAT for him because it inspired him to make the Plastic Ono Band album!” [RUBBISH take] or “it was just a weird seventies fad” [a better take, but still not nearly as in depth as this topic deserves—PLUS they still tend to conclude the same point that: none of the harmful stuff matters because of one (1) album].
So theres definitely a gap in the Beatles book market there which needs filling—but I guess thats actually where a large part of the interest comes from: since its such an under-explored topic, it sets of the little investigative journalist in my head. It does require a lot of time for me to make these essays, but I kind of…….like that? Its obviously not a Fun topic since its pretty heavy (fr, the further into it you go The Worse It Gets), but I just love researching things and Piecing The Puzzle Together.
So tldr: basically just accidentally accumulated a lot of Shit on PST and Janov throughout my research and now I need to talk about it more + Im a research nerd so doing my Little Investigation is kind of a hobby (if thats not weird???) + I also just want to educate more people on the topic since its obviously quite difficult to talk about if you Don't Know A Lot about it
P.S. for people as obsessed with the subject as I am I will again be putting a bibliography at the end of the essay in case you want to read up more on the subject yourself! :)

I'm usually an elder scrolls/fallout blog but I feel like I can rant here too so:
I'm just really, genuinely upset for Charles Martinet rn. I know he's said before that voicing Mario can be really straining on his voice, but that doesn't mean we should be using star-power to recast what is, in my opinion, his role.
And I know he hasn't said a huge amount about the casting of the film, but Tara Strong's tweets and his responses to them feel like there's at least some melancholy. I can't imagine doing a job for so many years only to be pushed aside for a mainstream face actor who can't voice act for shit to fill the role.
I've not interacted with Charles Martinet much, but the very few interactions we've had/I've seen? He's been nothing but a lovely and kind soul, and he lives and breathes Mario! It's so rare for someone to be so passionate about a role for so long, and I can't help but feel ike this is such an insult to such a kind man who genuinely enjoys his job.
A thought I've seen a lot is that the 'traditional' Mario voice would be really grating for a full movie - I agree! But that's the beauty of voice actors! Martinet has such an amazing range (insert Skyrim Paarthurnax fact here), and he would easily be able to work with his original voice for the character(s) and mellow them for prolonged speech. He is a great voice actor. And the same can't be said for his replacement.
Maybe I'm just projecting many emotions onto this and making a mountain out of a molehill. But VA's being replaced by 'mainstream' celebrities is already a very iffy thing to do, and it almost feels personal when it's such an iconic role and the original actor is so passionate about the art. Its been bugging me since the cast was originally announced and it hurts even more after seeing Charles' responses on twitter yesterday.
All we can hope is that Charles Martinet is living his best life and knows that many people appreciate his work. But that doesn't change the fact that trying to pull in an audience with a celebrity in this case is a very shitty thing to do.
