can we all just collectively forget and ignore the first two episodes of junjou romantica.. ESPECIALLY the first one. i'm one for acknowledging the flaws this show has as it's literally my hyper-fixation and has been for many years, but some of the authors choices cross the line unfortunately like many others (especially at the time) with the due fact to what other people have said and using common, moral knowledge.

My two fave characters fell in love~~~

I've had an AU idea that I've been contemplating writing for a while now. I haven't fleshed out all the details yet but I'll put the gist of it below for those of y'all interested. Let me know what y'all think.

AU where Misaki was never tutored by Akihiko. He ends up getting into Mitsuhashi by an alternative method. He works at a cafe at one point as a part-time job and it's here that he meets Ijuuin. Ijuuin begins to frequent the cafe and eventually falls for Misaki. They're pretty good friends by then so Ijuuin confesses and persuades Misaki to date him by assuring Misaki that they'll take things slow. They're together for some time. Ijuuin later encourages Misaki to work at Marukawa after he graduates and Misaki agrees to try it.

Some months after being hired, Misaki runs into Akihiko and recognizes him as Takahiro's friend. Misaki initially finds Akihiko annoying and Akihiko seems to share the same sentiment about him. However, the two keep running into each other and eventually Akihiko starts to take an interest in Misaki.

Misaki is still dating Ijuuin at this time and Akihiko quickly realizes this. Despite this, he refuses to give up and is determined to get closer to Misaki. Misaki eventually starts to develop feelings for Akihiko but feels bad about Ijuuin. He's conflicted on what to do and finds himself torn between 2 loves.
