Idea Given Form (Discarded Drabble)
The moment Dream opens his eyes, he immediately knows that this is a dream.
For one, he still remembers the softness of his mattress, the way it dips under his body as his consciousness unravels beneath the heavy weight of exhaustion. For another, as the Guardian of Positivity, Dream has visited a numerous number of alternate universes, and yet none of them looks even remotely close to this one.
The sky is a vast ocean that stretches from the inky shore to the hungry skyline, filling up with twinkling constellations. One particular playful shooting star zips through the endless void, trailing the faint smell of stardust in its footsteps. A heavy and enormous planet hangs overhead, and from there, he can see the flickering silhouettes of long-forgotten cities, of crumbling skyscrapers and barren wastelands.
Dream marvels at the sight in front of him. It is so beautiful, and at the same time, so haunting, as if he is cutting open time itself and peering through the gaping wound of reality.
Shaking away the thought, he starts to walk, admiring the many islands that lazily drift through the unending Cosmo, each one of them seems to be a universe of its own. One has been overgrown with vegetation, wisps of green gently dancing in the wind, another lay domain to slumbering mountains, looming over everything else like an ancient beast.
In all of his awe, the Guardian bumps against a piece of stray rubble, the force nearly sends him tumbling on his pelvis. Rubbing his sore nasal cavity, Dream grumbles, ducking under the floating rock-
And then he sees it.
A towering tree woven from human arms, forever grasping for something unreachable. If Dream thought the mountains were big, this... thing, it can crush all of them in its grip. The skin is scrawling with black tattoos, indecipherable language in indecipherable patterns. Hundreds, thousands, millions of eyes blink in slow discordance as they quietly weep rainbow ichor.
It is something out of this world, unfathomable, incomprehensible, something never meant for a mortal’s eyes.
Dream can’t help it. He gasps.
Wrong move.
At the foreign sound, all of the entity’s eyes synthetically snap toward him, peering at the small, insignificant mortal who dares to intrude on its home. The Guardian sucks in a sharp breath, taking a shaky step back, only for his spine to hit the rubble he bumped into just earlier.
There is a rumbling sound that shakes the whole island, and when Dream realizes it, a lone hand has detached itself from its coiling mass, leaving trails of dripping rainbow strings. He barely catches the sight of an entire galaxy stuffed inside that gigantic body before he is snatched from the ground, any form of thrashing or struggling completely useless against the fingers that are doubled his size.
This, he thinks, is the strangest dream I have ever had.
Getting stuck in an unfamiliar universe? Being killed by an eldritch monster made of human hands? Dream would laugh if his being isn’t struck with an overwhelming fear, the bone-deep terror that brushes its icy touch against his SOUL, leaving him paralyzed.
Completely powerless, Dream has no choice but to squeeze his eye sockets shut and wait for the inevitable end.
Except-
Except... Nothing happens.
Cautiously, he opens his eye sockets. The entity doesn’t hurt him, doesn’t grind his skeletal body into paste or fling him so far he will instantly turn to dust the moment the Guardian touches the floor. Instead, those many eyes seem to... sparkle?
Another hand lifts, moving toward him, and he instinctively jerks back. But if the entity has any harmful intentions, Dream cannot find any of them because at the moment, the only thing he can focus on is those gentle, caring strokes against his spine. Blink, and suddenly, the inky tattoos have shifted, surrounding him like over-hyper toddlers.
“Uhhhhhhh,” he mumbles, more confused than ever. “What...?”
HI!
Dream flinches. The sound seems to come from his own mind, echoing inside the confine of his skull. Fortunately, the entity doesn’t notice anything, too busy vibrating with excitement.
YOU <FRIEND, GUARDIAN, POSITIVITY> ARE FINALLY HERE <LOVE, JOY>! YOU <FRIEND, GUARDIAN, POSITIVITY> HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I <GUARDIAN, CREATION> HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU <FRIEND, SLOW-POKE, GUARDIAN, POSITIVITY>!
It has?
No, wait, the voice is familiar. Very familiar. Dream has heard it before. But where...?
A puzzle piece clicks into place.
“Ink?!”
THAT’S ME <BESTEST-FRIEND-EVER, KIN, GUARDIAN, CREATION>! The entity, Ink, beams.
“But... How...?” He sputters. “Why do you look like that?”
<CONFUSION> LIKE WHAT?
“Like that!” Dream gestures sharply at the towering mass that is his friend. “Last time I checked, you are a skeleton, not some eldritch horror of unfathomable power.”
Ink lets out a gasp of realization.
YOU <FRIEND, GUARDIAN, POSITIVITY> DIDN’T KNOW?
Know what? Dream tries to say, but Ink has already continued.
SILLY ME <IDIOT, FORGETFUL, GUARDIAN, CREATION>, OF COURSE YOU <FRIEND, GUARDIAN, POSITIVITY> DIDN’T KNOW! UNLIKE ME <VOID-BORN, GUARDIAN, CREATION>, YOU <VOID-FORMED, GUARDIAN, POSITIVITY> WEREN’T BORN A GUARDIAN <CHILD-OF-VOID, IDEA-GIVEN-FORM>!
“Ink,” Dream struggles to catch the jumbled mess of his friend’s thoughts. “Ink, I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
The millions of eyes blink, clearly gearing for another ramble, only to freeze when the world flickers around them.
OH DEAR <SADNESS, GUILT, REGRET>, IT IS TIME TO SAY GOODBYE.
“Time to-?” He scrambles to interrupt the Creator, as if it would stop the way everything slowly melts into colors around him. “No! Wait!”
SEE YOU <BEST FRIEND, FAMILY, LOVE-YOU-DEARLY> SOON, DREAMBOAT!
A splash, a faint sense of loss, the smell of freshly-painted canvas.
And Dream wakes up.

Hi! Now that the grenade is out of the way, if you please could you share something about IGF? Maybe one anecdote or something JS used to do or said to one another? I love those two idiots
The sought end goal of her original itinerary could be promptly summed up by her dress of choice—a powder blue silk shift that covers a little more than a quarter of her thigh with white lace along the hem of the cleavage.
It isn’t exactly underwear friendly.
That mere fact almost made her go with another outfit entirely, one that would appropriately mask the lingerie she bought for this exact moment—but she couldn’t find anything she liked. Anything she thought he would like. There was a robe she could wear with it, but it felt too dramatic, and her fiancé isn’t the type of person who appreciates fashionable dramatics. So here she is now, in her dress and only the underwear from the matching lily white set she bought earlier underneath.
Not that it ends up mattering in the end.
Oh, it worked just the way she wanted it to at first. Upon greeting him at the door, he actually flushed at the sight of her. From his neck to his cheeks. Of course, he tried to avert his eyes because he’s the type of man to do that sort of thing, but it didn’t last for long. He couldn’t keep his eyes off her, and it was exactly what she wanted.
It was all perfect for a grand total of two minutes before the smoke alarm went off.
The cookies she was baking for them were burnt, and as it turned out, the noodles in the pot congealed, and both dinner and dessert were ruined but at least her makeup wasn’t when she burst into tears.
Jon was very nice about the whole thing, though she’s sure it didn’t win her any points in the “I’m a properly functioning adult” nor the “Wife who can cook” department.” He succinctly mitigated the resulting damage and ordered pizza while she tossed the evidence of her failure out and cracked open the windows. He also rubbed her between her shoulders as she cried, his lips to her hairline, and that was really nice too.
Anyway, dinner arrived and she poured them matching glasses of Sancerre that he was polite enough not to inquire how she got. He had one glass and she had two. He pulled out his work as soon as he was done eating, which was extremely disappointing, because she was so sure that her dress would appropriately distract him and as a result, he would take it off.
Sansa has never had sex before.
She didn’t even realize that this might be something Jon might expect when he came over until yesterday, when she told Margaery that no, she couldn’t do the spa tomorrow because Jon was coming over and she still had to figure out what she was gonna make him for dinner. That prompted Margaery to ask if they had sex yet. Sansa didn’t lie fast enough and she drew her own conclusions. Margaery simply laughed and said, “Well I guess you will tomorrow so it doesn’t matter.”
But it wasn’t until she and Jeyne met for dinner later that night and Jeyne winced in agreement that she truly considered sex to be on the table. It made sense. He did invite himself over—but she just thought that was because he’d be too tired to go anywhere after work. The closer their date neared, the less Sansa was convinced of this. She decided she would prepare for it just in case.
It was a daunting prospect at first, no matter how many times she told herself that Jon was going to be her husband and that this was something that husbands and wives did. No matter how many times she told herself that she could do much worse. But curiously enough, it wasn’t until she opened the door and saw him that it devolved into something less intimidating. Maybe it was the way he blushed at the sight of her, or he way he kissed her cheek like he always did, or the way he held her as she cried—but she wasn’t as nervous as she was before.
After all, did she not like to be close to him? Her favorite parts of their nights out always occurred when they were touching. When his head touched hers so he could whisper something in her ear. When his hand found her waist before he told her he was ready to go. When she pretended to be drowsy so she could rest her head on his shoulder on the way home. And their hands—they fit together perfectly. Almost like puzzle pieces.
And she’s come to appreciate the way he looks, even if she wasn’t so sure how she felt about it before. Really, she finds him to be quite handsome. The fullness of his mouth, and the slash of his brows, and the way his hair curls just beneath the scruff of his jaw. And he isn’t so old.
And she knew he would be kind about it because he’s kind. Perhaps a bit abrupt and distant, but kind nonetheless. He’s gentle with her more often than he is not. At his very center, he’s good. It’s why his job is his job, because he’s not only good, but brave too. And isn’t that what her parents always wanted for her? Someone brave and gentle and strong?
It’s for all of these reasons and more that a fire began to kindle right behind her navel at his closeness on her couch, and felt like it was snuffed out the moment he took out his work.
But it wasn’t out for long. Apparently, her movie choice was right on the money: the extended version of the first Lord of the Rings movie, partly because he seemed like the type to enjoy an action and adventure type movie but mostly because it was long and it would give her plenty of time to pluck up the courage.
“Have you seen this before?“ He asked her, genuinely curious.
Very briefly because Jeyne’s dad was watching it once, but she fell asleep, and simply can’t be held responsible for not being able to recall the details. So she answered, “No. Have you?”
“Several times.” He answered. “I read the books.”
Why anyone would go and do that, Sansa didn’t know. But she was happy to find him glancing up at the movie between turning pages.
She kept asking him questions, which would inadvertently pull his attention back in. Questions like, how did they know the ring was in the Shire? Where are the elves going? Sauron and Saruman are different people? And her last question, genuine and self indulgent—Do Arwen and Aragorn end up together? I can’t finish this if they don’t end up together in the end.
To his credit, he answered all of them patiently albeit just a teeny bit exasperated until eventually, he just set his work to the side and leaned back so he could answer her to the fullest extent, practically in the form of an oral essay. But Sansa listened to every last word and scooted closer and closer to him until her knees were folded up underneath her and she was cuddled up beside him, head on his shoulder and her arms around his left arm with his hand in her lap.
But despite loving the movie, even Jon wasn’t immune to its length. He started to fall asleep right when Gimli found out his uncle or cousin or whoever was dead underneath the mountain. Now, Gandalf is dead and his breathing is very slow, but he’s not snoring yet. His head is on top of hers, and his hand is sideways between her knees.
Sansa would prefer to lay down. Even more, she would prefer to get in bed and lay so close to him that she felt like she was a tiny thing laying curled up inside of his chest, right next to his heart. And he would hold her and she would listen to his heartbeat all night long.
But she’s scared that if she asks him to come to bed, he’ll leave. A new line drawn in the sand beside him after she worked so hard to erase the last one.
So she’ll settle for this.
“Can we lay down?”
Jon gives a start at that, sleepily humming, “Hm?”
“My legs are cramped,” She whispers, glad her face is hidden. She can feel the blood rushing to her cheeks. “Can we lay down?”
Sansa feels him hesitate for a moment. She counts her heartbeats in between. One, two, three, four. It’s going super fast in her ears.
He clears his throat. “Yeah, sure. I just need to—”
She doesn’t even let him finish. Maybe a little to eagerly, she gets up to acquiesce him. He lays down, head on one of her throw pillows, legs stretched out on the couch, leaving them open just enough. He’s not wearing his work clothes. It’s so rare that she sees him outside of a pair of slacks, but she thinks that she really likes him in jeans.
She slips into that space between his legs, made just for her. She lays his head on her chest, ear up against his heart.
It’s beating fast. Just like hers.
His hand comes up to tentatively rest in her lower back as she inhales the scent of him, clean, heady, and familiar.
That night, Sansa learns that when her future husband snores, he does that quietly too, like he does everything else.

Don't worry about my de-listing the game - I had wanted to do this for a while, and finding your review in the main tag of the bigger game I actually care about just pushed me to finally do it.
Obviously I understand if you don't feel inclined to spend money on anything I make, especially after this bad first impression; However, I can recommend that you check out "There Swings A Skull", which is a free ~40 minutes long jam game I made with two extremely competent collaborators.
Also, since you seem to have bought a lot of bundles: The full and actual game "An Outcry" was part of the "Worthy of Better, Stronger Together" bundle for reprodctive rights. If you own that bundle, you own that game! And, furthermore, THAT "An Outcry" is currently nominated for the IGF Nuovo Award of 2023! So yeehaw!
Wowwie! I still hate that I had a part in a game getting disappeared, but seeing someone admit mistakes and take pride in successes is a heartwarming consolation. There Swings a Skull is getting reviewed as soon as I find time for it—and don't expect me to go easy on you just because I have a little affection you now. I only have two Itch bundles. I keep finding out about new ones just after they end. You know who has a hard time with large-scale self-promotion? Indie game developers. It's ridiculous how many great games I've discovered through my Itch reviews; games I've owned for years and never knew about because it's such an impossible challenge to rise above the noise. I got an Honorable Mention from IGF in 2012 (crud, has it really been that long?), and I wish I would have known the value of that recognition. I'd been following the IGF Awards for years. I understood how many people entered, that it was a huge deal to even come close to an award, but I didn't know what actions I was supposed to take. I was living with my mom and working for a pathetic wage at Best Buy. I couldn't afford to fly to GDC, not understanding that if I'd been there, people would have wanted to talk to a promising recent graduate. I could have gotten a job doing work I cared about, and then I could have paid back whatever money I needed to borrow for a plane ticket. At the very least, I might have met up with some other aspiring game developer weirdos who weren't cut out for corporate jobs, but who might happily starve together in the pursuit of art. I gave some online interviews, but I didn't even know where some of them were going, which means I couldn't do any work on my own to promote them and build up my name. My little game was shown in a museum instillation in Brazil, and I was selling digital cameras in the Houston suburbs. It was all happening outside of my life. Sorry, this is turning into me me me. My point is, be a little cocky. Tell people you're worth their time. Chase down the idiots like me, and tell us, "An Outcry exists, I'm proud of it, people like it, and you can buy it right now—30% off!" How else is anyone supposed to know?

Bodybuilder's Favorite Hormone - IGF Insulin Growth Factor
Why should you use IGF-1?
The weight gain when using IGF-1 was not due to the weight of the water. All weight gain is caused by actual muscle gain, which is a long-term effect. You won't gain 10 pounds from IGFs compared to steroids that overuse water weights and often cause adverse side effects, but you'll get solid muscle gains every one to two weeks. Actual heavy muscles. The most important feature of IGF-1 is its ability to induce proliferation in humans. People who use steroids develop hypertrophy, which means they only increase the size of existing cells in the muscle. On the other hand, IGF-1 causes hyperplasia, which claims the growth and development of new cells in the muscle. In general, at a normal genetic level, you will achieve more muscle density and size.
Variants of IGF-1
There are two groups of IGF variants. These are IGF-1 LR3 and DES IGF-1 (which can also be presented as IGF-1 DES). IGF-1 has a very short half-life, so it is quickly destroyed by the body. This is the main reason why IGF-1 was modified to generate the amino acid analog IGF-1 LR3 with a longer half-life. Another variant of IGF-1, DES IGF-1, is a truncated form of IGF-1 that is ten times more potent than IGF-1. Both of these IGF-1 variants are similar to IGF-1, but they have different modes of action. This feature allows them to function together in different and specific ways.
IGF-1 LR3
The half-life of IGF-1 LR3 is about 20-30 hours. It is more potent than the regular matrix IGF-1. Because it can last in the body for more than a day, it can effectively bind to cellular receptors in muscle cells and activate cellular communication, thereby increasing the rate of muscle growth throughout the day. IGF-1 LR3 inhibits the movement of glucose to body cells, which facilitates fat burning and the use of fat for energy in the body. Its long lifespan of nearly a day makes it the variant of choice for most patients and physicians as no injections are required. IGF-1 LR3 circulates systemically and binds to receptors on muscle cells and then acts for about a day, so daily administration of this dose is strongly supported.
IGF-1 DES
IGF-1 DES is a shorter version of the base IGF-1 chain. This IGF-1 variant is 5 times more potent than the regular base IGF-1. It has a half-life of about twenty to thirty minutes, which indicates that it is a very delicate chain. Administration of DES IGF-1 should only be done where you want to experience muscle growth. DES IGF-1 has a higher ability to stimulate muscle hyperplasia than IGF-1 LR3. In conclusion, this variant works best when used for site injections rather than overall muscle growth. In addition to these functions, DES IGF-1 is known to bind to receptors in cells that have been deformed by lactate. High amounts of lactic acid are produced during training and strenuous activity. This feature of DES IGF-1 enables it to attach to mutant receptors that signal tissue growth even during training activities. DES can be used more frequently and for longer periods of time than IGF-1 LR3.
IGF-1 vs HGH
Growth hormone is actually a precursor to IGF-1, but why not choose HGH? HGH does not cause direct muscle growth, instead, it promotes muscle growth by sending out the release of IGF-1. Human growth hormones can prove very difficult to qualify. In order for a doctor to prescribe you, you must have been diagnosed with adult growth hormone deficiency syndrome. You must take and pass a growth hormone stimulation test, which then shows that your body is not producing growth hormone in response to the stimulation. This makes IGF-1 and its variants a more viable solution for athletes, someone losing body fat, or even those looking to get back in shape.
Dosage and Injections
IGF-1
Inject 7 days a week. It is best to inject it after a workout. The dose should be about 20 mcg to 50 mcg per day. Due to the very short half-life of IGF-1, desensitization is rarely found.
IGF-1 LR3
Inject 7 days a week. It should be in doses of 20 mcg to 50 mcg. Desensitization occurs in about 40 days or about 4 weeks.
IGF-DES
It should be given multiple times throughout the day, most preferably, inject it before you start training. You should target specific sites and muscles in doses of about 50 mcg to 150 mcg. Since DES IGF-1 has a very short half-life, desensitization is rarely found. You should always make sure to target sites so that you target specific muscle groups. If you want to strengthen your biceps, you should apply this injection directly to your biceps.
