notes: number 1) this can get outdated super easily… number 2) i also dont know how to link content as i dont use tumblr alot but upon request im remaking my twitter thread here number 3) im not putting the races in chronological order as im quite lazy

at the 2019 japanese gp, max and charles hit eachother into turn two.

max after the race on the crash:

“i just dont get it. there was no need to risk so much in turn two. cause at the end of the day, both of us had to pit.”

2019 austrian gp, 3 laps left into the race max overtook charles and won the grandprix.

charles at the postrace pressconference:

“as i said, ive done exactly the same thing from the first and the second lap so i didnt expect any contact on the second lap. as max said, i think he braked a little bit deeper. i dont know if he lost it or not but then there was the contact. i felt like i was quite strong in traction. on the first attempt i managed to have better traction and have my position. on the second one i couldnt do that cause i was off track.”

2019 silverstone gp, the race right after austria. max and charles closely battled for 10 laps straight

charles during the postrace press conference:

“the best move was probably the one on max, on the outside in copse, i think he just passed me and i passed him back around the outside of copse. i think that was definitely was one of the most exciting (moves) of the race… of my race!”

Love triangle Carlos Sainz x Reader x Marc Marquez

If it isn’t my favorite media girl!” Carlos shouted seeing you standing outside the redbull garage. Rushing over to give you a hug. You had both met when Carlos drove for Redbull you were with the brands media team rather than the racing team so while it wasn’t often he saw you here it wasn’t out of the ordinary, but he would admit he drove better when he knew you were watching.

“My parents have been asking when you’re coming over for dinner again?” The Ferrari driver spoke not letting you go as he whispered in your ear. He knew you’d rather keep your on and off relationship between the both of you, which he was fine with, except for one issue.

“Sainz, been a while.” and there was the issue also known as Moto GPs Marc Marquez. Who despite the wide smile on his face as he cozied up next to you sent daggers to the other Spaniard. Who was more than happy to play along.

“Marc i didn’t know you still raced?” He spoke with fake enthusiasm but the look of disappointment you shot him made him feel a small twinge of regret. Marcs shoulders stiffened. “I took a season off for injury yes, but I’m back now.” His words were clipped not wanting to start one of their classic back and fourths in front of you.

Releasing a breath when one of Marcs bike mechanics called him over, he begrudgingly left you alone with Carlos. Who’s eyes narrowed at you immediately.

“Carlos.” You sighed already knowing where this was heading. “I can’t believe you brought him to my race.” He spat the word ‘him’ like it was poison on his tongue. His hand ran through his hair in an attempt to calm down.

“I didn’t bring him Carlos, Redbull wants him to race Max I’m just doing my job.” He knew that, he did but he hated that you worked closer with Moto GP, and in turn Marc. Carlos often wished he would’ve signed any contract Toro Rosso would’ve put in front of him if it would’ve kept you closer.

Knowing that he didnt mean to snap at you, you sighed softening your tone reaching to rub his arm. “I have to get back to work but good luck with the race, i’ll be cheering for you.” His smile that you loved broke through his perused lips as you kissed his cheek.

“I want another one of those when i win.” He sang cockily as he walked backwards towards Ferrari still keeping eye contact making you laugh as he almost tripped. Entering the Redbull garage you saw Marc shooting you glances from his conversation with Max Verstappen, while Carlos made his dislike for the rider more apparent Marc hid it better but you could see a little unease in his eyes when Carlos got a little two close.

“Wish me luck Amore.” Marc winked, straddling his bike before pealing out to meet Verstappen on the starting line.

When you started working for Redbull you were placed with MotoGP, Repsol to be exact, Marc who was already a multiple world title holder quickly befriended you seeing how out of place you felt, and made you feel like part of their little family.

Then you got a chance to shadow F1 where you met Carlos, and while it broke your heart leaving Repsol, Carlos helped ease the pain, and you became close to both men, spending the off season split between the two you were best friends, until it became clear they wanted more. That’s where it got complicated.

You sighed, letting your mind wander to the first summer you spent with Carlos in Spain.

“I’m going to have a tan line of your hand if you don’t move.” You hummed in relaxation as the boat rocked gently on the waves practically begging sleep to take you and it would’ve if the constant movement of Carlos’s thumb rubbing against your skin didn’t set it ablaze.

“Now why would I move, you know I like my marks on you.” His voice dripping with every ounce of that Spanish passion he possessed, leaning down to press wet kisses across your spine. Water dripping down on you from his hair a stark contrast to the heat coming off him.

Flipping over gazing up at him the golden hour sun bouncing off his skin making it appear as if he was glowing. And if anyone asked he’d agree he felt like he was glowing from the inside out whenever he was around you. From the second he was introduced to you he fell hard, like every hit romance movie ever made.

“What’s going on in that head of yours?” You asked feeling almost insecure under his intense gaze. He laughed softy, shaking his eyes before reconnecting your eyes.

“I just can’t wait for the future, I’ll get a contract with a bigger team maybe McLaren or Ferrari and you can come with me, traveling the world together. Doesn’t that sound perfect.” His eyes lit up with his excitement while yours did the opposite. While it sounded amazing you knew it wasn’t guaranteed.

“You know I was only shadowing for this season Carlos, I don’t know where I’ll end up after that.” You hated how he visibly deflated for a moment before perking back up.

“Then I’ll sign with Redbull and put it in my contact that you come with me!”

“It will work!” He defended when you laughed. Reaching to cup his cheek. “We’ll see.”

Words can’t describe how happy you were to be back at the hotel and lounge in bed. Just as you got comfortable your phone dinged.

Marc: ‘Come up to my room there’s something I want to show you <3.’

Your heart skipped a beat seeing his contact photo that you took of him when you brought him to your home town after he practically begged you to show him where you came from, wanting to learn as much about you as he could.

You took him to your favorite spot one the one with memories where the smile wouldn’t come off your face and you made him take a selfie with you to see who’s smile was bigger, knowing he was known for his among his fans.

You were surprised to see it was on the same floor as your room figuring Redbull would’ve given him a penthouse for the duration of his stay.

“Mi amor, you came!” His signature smile clear across his face as he stepped aside for you to come in, wrapping you in his arms the second you did. Unable to help yourself you sunk into his arms the comfort you felt overwhelming.

When he pulled back it was just far enough to look into your eyes. “Come.” He whispered pressing a kiss to your forehead gently pulling you by your hand to the balcony. As you looked around you noticed it was the same layout as your room. He blushed when you mentioned it. Giving you a little shrug. “I always make sure you get the best rooms you’re an important part of the team.”

The scene on the balcony took your breath away and despite it being late and him in matching attire your sweats and T-shirt feel very underdressed for the fairy lights he strung up, your favorite dessert set in the center of the little table overlooking the beautiful city scape.

Marc was anxiously watching your reaction as you took it in. Marc didn’t fall for you the second he saw you like in the books you read. Instead it came like a tsunami slowly at first as he got to know you then it hit him with how incredible you are and how he couldn’t imagine his life without you.

Pulling your chair out for you waving off your thanks ‘I’ll make every single day special when we’re together’ he said in his head.

As you both ate you made small talk saying everything and nonsense at the same time. The air was light until Marc paused with a sigh and nodded to your shirt. Confused you looked down and cursed, Carlos’s old redbull shirt.

“I’m so sorry it must’ve gotten mixed in with my work shirts I didn’t mean to.” You rushed out hoping he knew it was honestly a mistake.

Marc stood just enough to pull his chair closer to yours and grabbed both your hands in his. Looking so deep into your eyes you were almost worried at what he’d see.

“I’d never make you do this but I’ve been wanting to say it.” Marc paused making sure he had your full attention.

“If you ever have to choose between me and him.” Swallowing the lump that suddenly formed in his throat at what he was about to say. “Pick who makes you happy, even if it’s not one of us, you and I will be fine we were friends before and we will be after so don’t worry about that. Just…just be as happy as I am when I’m with you.”

The truth behind his eyes made yours start to tear up, you knew deep down you’d have to pick one day and now it felt like the hours are ticking down.

At the same moment unbeknownst to either of you a knock sounded at your hotel room down the hall the ponding raising in volume the longer it went one making your coworker in the next room peak out. She sighed seeing the Ferrari driver.

“Hey Susan right?” Carlos asked snapping his fingers when he remembered her name. “Do you know where Y/n is?”

His shoulders dropped the longer it took her to respond, his lips pursed. “She’s with Marc isn’t she?” Susan looked away giving him his answer. “Unbelievable.” He huffed storming back to his room.

The next day Carlos was on a mission, he had spent all night and early morning making phone call after phone call email after email. Carlos knew Honda would’ve put Marc in the Redbull VIP section to watch the race and that’s exactly where he found him. “We need to talk.” Marc almost jumped at the sudden hand landing on his shoulder.

Standing from his stool he motioned for Carlos to lead the way, the paddock being his territory. Finding an empty hallway away from reporters that would love the drama between the two racers especially over that same girl. Carlos spun on his heels. Almost nose to nose with the other Spaniard.

“Stay away from my girl Marquez.” Marcs brows rose at the demand and laughed.

“She’s not your girl Sainz,”

“Well she’s sure as hell not yours!”

“Exactly!” The two men went silent as Marcs words settled between them only harsh breathes were heard. “She’s not mine and she’s not yours, she hasn’t picked one or the other.” Carlos snickers like he knew something the other man didn’t.

“Well she will have to soon. Ferrari is offering her a deal by the end of the weekend.” Carlos was about to storm off but was handed back by a now furious Marc.

“You can’t force her to choose, actually go ahead and do it run her straight into my arms, go on ahead!” Marc held his arm out welcoming the driver to walk past.

“If you’re so confident tell her to take the Ferrari gig its a good job i made sure.” He paused lowering his voice taunting leaning closer like he was sharing a secret. “You know, I think you are worried she’ll take it, because while she met you first, she fell for me first, must not be as good as you thought you were.”

Marc rolled his eyes, was the man that dumb, huffing out a breathe through his nose he set his hands on his hips. “And if you were more confident you wouldn’t have to offer her a different job to get her.”

Carlos laughed but a hint of truth was found in his words, he was worried, the frantic calls to Mattia and threats to quit were definitely acts of desperation. And he hated Marc could tell.

“I can give her more than you can.” Was his weak resort.

“Yeah, what can a 8 time world champion possibly give her?” Marc sarcastically nodded. Carlos clenched his jaw, and clenched his fist. Before he could swing he got yanked back by his cocked arm by Charles.

“What the hell?!” Charles shouted as Carlos struggled against him. Attracting attention to the once private hallway as more men ran in to break up the two racers. Both men froze at the new voice.

“What’s going on?” They both turned to look at you. Charles loosening his grip as Carlos froze, giving him the chance to break free and adjust his shirt, trying to play it off. “Nothing.” He shrugged.

Now that he had calmed down the Ferrari crew that came with Charles to find his teammate escorted Carlos out with them leaving you, Marc and a few other VIPs.

Marc walked passed you until you were shoulder to shoulder, not looking at you as he faces the wall behind you. “I take it back, don’t pick him.” He continued walking leaving you alone with a looming clock hanging over the three of you that just started ticking.

Imagine me being kind of disappointed that it’s another english song from jk when i watched the mv😅 it feels like his most promoted songs since last year has been all eng song… idk i wanted & expted something diff… i didnt like l&r, dreamers and now 7… it’s back to back lol. Tbf i didnt like My You too and thats in korean. At least not enough to listen!again after the first listen.

Im happy that still with you is finally on spotify tho. I’ll still be waiting excited for his album whenever it comes out. Hopefully ill find something i like in it!!

All the hype didn't matched with the song

1. rest members songs had so much depth and substance to it while this was the cliche boy chasing a girl song. Like we always dont need deep songs but the quality could be so much better. This was like just another pop song.

I think I'll put this on same level as BAD DECISIONS. But for bad decisions, atleast the chorus was staying on my mind while for this nothing was catchy enough for us to humm. Just because it's JK it will get hype but otherwise it's so generic. I think I liked LEFT and RIGHT way better than Seven. Even the rap portion felt so unnecessary and boring.

2. MV was kinda nice because of the production but concept was too shallow, the stalking and chasing was so outdated. In my country we have like 9293928843837 MVs in this same concept that not many make the same theme songs again.

3. The choreography. We haven't seen the full version. But for tiktok they do the highlight portions if that's so mediocre idk how rest will be. It was again giving the same mediocre showing off choreography and for me backdancers ruined it with their awkward moves.

4. they wanted this song to be played everywhere around the world. But there was nothing catchy enough to attract gp or go viral on tiktok, even if we sped it up. The only way to make everyone listen is to shove it down their throat but doing payola. But idk if investing in payola is worthy for the song. I also doubt the longietivity, as for me it was boring after 2 listens. I'll rather listen Like Crazy or wildflower or closer 20 times than listening this once.

5. I HOPE he'll bring something fresh to the table for his album and don't involve this mediocre producers who uses the same formula and same superstar persona to make a song successful. He is so much talented to sing a song which is so rich in melody and lyrics. And he can produce way better songs by himself.

Prolly a 4/10 for me

Ask 4: troye sivan's rush (which also came out last night) is exactly what I wish Seven was. I don't mean that in a 'I expect the things JK to make to be gay' way just in the way it's a fun, very danceable, sexy summer song that doesn't pull its punches. Something about seven feels too run through a commercial sanitizer a few times, even with the explicit lyrics.

JK has been talking about wanting to show more mature and explicit sides of himself for a good long while now. So I’m glad he’s finally gotten to do that, confirming for us why he keeps getting noise complaints from his neighbours since the mattresses all over his apartment don't help.

BTS has made songs explicitly referring to sex before (though it's been mostly the rapline doing so). So it's nothing new but I guess it's cool JK gets to share with us that he too has sex.

The question I posed to my friends immediately after watching the MV is, “Do you know who's been doing A&R for BigHit since 2020? I really need to know who is doing A&R for BigHit in America because they’ve been doing an appalling job lately. I'm starting to wonder if it's an inside job cause this song is kinda ass.”

I’ve streamed Seven about 20 times since then I think, took a break from the song for a few hours, watched his GMA performance, caught a few minutes of the Wlive, then listened to it again just before writing this post and…

I still don’t like it.

Jungkook did a good job on the song, Latto's verse wasn't terrible, and while the song itself isn’t bad… the song isn’t good either.

It’s painfully, and at this point it’s a pattern so I have to add, predictably, mediocre.

Reserving judgement for the album, but Anons, I agree with you for the most part. The suits at BigHit are trying but they are woefully out of touch with the reasons BTS blew up in the West in the first place. I don't even feel like spending any energy doing a review or even trying to explain what I mean. So I'll just ramble on for a bit but try to keep it brief.

I have to give BigHit some credit because I can see what they're going for here. Andrew Watt is a very celebrated producer in the US, he won the Grammy award for Producer of the Year in 2021, he's got A listers in his portfolio. So, he's not a cheap name to book and I can see why the suits at BigHit thought he's the genius to gift them a song clinically designed for American radio.

But that pandejo phoned it in. There isn't a lick of creativity to be found anywhere in all 3 minutes and five seconds.

It reminds me of VIBE by Jimin and Taeyang, as the closest analog to the vague dissatisfaction morphing into annoyance and then pragmatic rationalization I experienced in that same sequence when listening to it the first few times.

The song is disappointing because we've all heard it before. Too many times, and we're bored of it. We've heard JK sing this sort of song for years, as covers mostly. So on one hand, while I guess it's nice JK gets to have an American summer JB-reject pop tune of his own, it's not good enough to be the track that introduces him to the world as a solo artist.

It's fine for any white, blonde, blue-eyed heartthrob that can ride on a pretty face and implicit bias to rack up accolades, it's not good enough for Jungkook.

And BigHit needs to start using whatever leverage a US$10.6 billion market capitalization buys you in Hollywood, to insist for songs that are at least as good as the songs made by BTS members and produced by their in-house team. It's a waste of money and everybody's time to fly a battalion to LA just to record 2014's summer hit in 2023.

In my opinion.

Still With You > Stay Alive > My Time > Stay > Left & Right > My You > Dreamers > Seven

All that said, I can't ignore JK has a taste for songs like this, and it's not his fault the song is shit (he didn't write, compose or produce it), so technically he shouldn't be punished for it. And the song is made for radio, while it's not my personal taste a lot of people really like the song (one of my friends likes Seven the most out of all the BTS releases so far), and it will catch on with some support. So, ARMY will support it including me, just to a lesser degree than I've done so far. Fingers crossed JJK1 has something solid on it.

1. Who or what got you into F1?

i grew up in a pretty big nascar family, my family would put it on the tv instead of watching the kids and natural progression i fell in love with motorsports. i do think a combination of seeing the tooned cartoon and me being fascinated by the engineering in the cars dragged me fully into f1.

2. Who was the very first F1 driver you supported? Do you support them now? Have your opinions on them differed or stayed the same since then?

for me it was fernando alonso and jenson button. although jenson is retired i still watch him in his other series like nascar. i still support fernando as well although i feel like it passed the torch on to lando when he was the reserve for mclaren and then later took the seat at mclaren. if you cant tell im a huge mclaren girl.

3. Who’s your current favourite F1 driver?

lando norris and yuki tsunoda, cant pick one but yeah theyre my ultimate pookies 🫶

4. Is there a driver pairing or pairings you support? What made you attracted to that pairing in the first place?

my biggest driver pairing right now is lando and oscar, i think their pairing is what lando needed and what oscar needed and theyve already shown they push eachother so i cant wait for this season. my ultimate that i think about is fernando and mark tho, theyre my roman empire. from them always misisng eachother as teammates and then the infamous abu dhabi 2010. i could go on an essay about them (as a treat i also love nando and jenson)

5. Do your parents, siblings or relatives have a favourite driver?

no but i did get my friends and their cats into it. one of them is a ferrari fan and the other is a mclaren girl more leaning towards op81 but im gonna make her an ln4 girl soon. her cats are both mclaren cats but one only loves lando, she legit gets disinterested when someone else is on screen. one time she literally followed landos car off screen and my friend didnt even know that was lando so she was surprised her cat caught on to him.

6. Do you have any favourite races? Are there any that stand out to you the most?

i know i mentioned it before but abu dhabi 2010 is definitely one i watch a lot. 2020 austrian gp as well, even tho lando got the podium cause of disqualification it still holds a special place in my heart. Runner ups are silverstone 2023 and Abu Dhabi 2023 where pookies lead the race for a period of time.

7. Do you have a favourite circuit? Can be from the past or from the current calendar.

singapore is lovely, silverstone because of this year with lando leading the gp just really put it up there, and i think interlagos always has me excited, even if mclaren has a bad track record with it (please get your shit together for quali guys)

8. Have you ever been to an F1 race in real life? Feel free to tell us your experience going to one if you like.

ive never been to one theyre too expensive in america to go to one but i have been to a couple nascar races and those were so lovely. im hoping to take my friends and i to the suzuka gp next year tho (its so much cheaper please f1 sort your shitty pricing please)

9. Have you ever met an F1 driver in real life?

i think the rb19 (rocky) has to be my fave rn if you asked me a year ago i would say otherwise but from an engineering standpoint rocky is the most beautiful piece of machinery ive laid my eyes on (excluding my beautiful b&m rollercoasters of course (my first love fr))

the line is less cut-and-dry with the other media forms. i hc that, for most of the articles/headlines, suguru DOES see them/read them/see what people are saying.

with the press conferences, its less so. suguru (2012) is likely to be rewatching some of them? but tbh the intention there was to kind of make the readers work to read inbetween the lines, and to prevent me having to write tons of scenes with incredibly similar settings. I hav only written like, two or three ACTUAL press conference scenes, and I only do it when i really, really want to get inside gojo's head in the moment of it.

also obviously the transcripts play a role in the present, and my hc is that gojo is not engaging with any media at all, so. its a bit eeeeeeeeeh on whether the transcripts are being engaged with like the articles.

i think ive mentioned it once in an ao3 comment but ur a smart little cookie <3 defo only the second time someones mentioned it in regards to the narrative.

okay, IRL f1 thoughts on Madrid 2026 below the cut:

STOP FUCKING PUTTING STREET CIRCUITS ON THE CALENDAR OH MY GOOOOOOODDDDDD

my issue isnt necessarily the loss of barcelona - fans have been complaining about that circuit for years, as have the drivers. My problem is that the quality of the track in Madrid is no better, if not worse, and the cars under current regs (even when we go into 2026, where they will get lighter, but not so much that they return to 2010s/2000s level of agility) are too big for narrow street circuits if they want to provide the sport with good racing.

fans have been calling for the return of Istanbul, a French GP (im not sure which circuit, exactly, though, bc paul ricard didnt seem all that popular), Sepang, Shanghai ... Mugello,,, the list goes on. There are so many historic permanent tracks throughout the world, Europe especially, that provide brilliant racing. We do not need street circuits in their droves. Las Vegas, although it ended up provding some exciting action, was an utter shit show from start to finish, with Norris' crash, Sainz almost losing a leg and then TAKING A PENALTY FOR IT, and drivers slipping all over the place.

I think aside from the racing, it's just hugely environmentally unfriendly. there is no need to construct tons of temporary facilities when we have plenty of race tracks that are permanent features. Roads have to be resurfaced, pitlanes constructed, temporary buildings set up... all of that is a waste of carbon. we are already an incredibly environmentally unfriendly sport, not just thru the actual racing, but through the amount of travel and construction involved. We can minimise that by not adding more street circuits to the calendar. No fan has asked for more street circuits, and we keep losing historic venues to make room for A) more US dates (why??? stop???) and B) more street circuits.

so yeah, not sure what the vision is with madrid and its roundabout. but its not popular and I don't think its a good idea, either.

being on the internet is like walking on a frozen lake. we have to be so extremely careful with everything we do to not be harassed for it. one of these things, is being autistic or having ADHD. (i will mainly focus on autisim as im more familliar with expeiancing it, although i will say its differant for everyone.) people are so quick to accuse others of faking a disorder like autisim, and it gets to the point where people who either have or havent got a diagnosis with autisim are being acussed of faking it. but this behaviour is so much more common irl, where if you try to talk about it, the first thing thats asked is "Wait so do you have a diagnosis?"

now, things are different in Scotland compared to America, and i acknowledge that. the whole process of getting a diagnosis for something like autism is such a laborious process. first, you need to be put on the waiting list, which usually doesn't happen until you reach about year 8 or 9(more often than not, its females. a male's symptoms of autism are easily spotted and caught early on.), where you realise that "hey! actually I'm not normal at all!" and IF you get a meeting with a GP, you list all symptoms, talk about how extremely hard it is for you to literally just function in the world made for neurotypicals.

then you're asked the hardest question, which, will be asked SO many times; "Why do you want a diagnosis?" this is such a hard, excruciating question to ask someone with autism, because we genuinely don't know how to answer. Because I need it? I know that sounds weird, but I do. I need a diagnosis to feel whole if that makes sense. the reassurance that I'm not a weird, lazy, dysfunctional human being would be nice. to know that there's a reason why its so hard to simply live. to prove anyone who denies me wrong? its hard to explain and it makes you feel like a rabbit caught in a snare. if, AND ONLY IF, you somehow manage to get onto the waiting list, you're looking at about an average of two-three years until you get an appointment. another thing they'll say to you is "There's no cure for it you know." I'm so fucking aware of that. more aware than anybody around me at all fucking times. you think I'm going through this entire process for fun?? Those people are almost ALWAYS fucking neurotypical or speak to you like a five year old.

but that's why I don't have a fucking diagnosis. what the fuck does it matter to you anyway??? I don't see how me having or not having autism affects you? i know neurotypicals find it hard to grasp what it's like to be autistic. because it sounds unreal. it IS fucking unreal. but if you're autistic, you are VERY aware of it. even if you don't know what autism is. you assume that everyone went though what you did as a small child. THEY FUCKING DIDNT. you are just different. that's how it is, and that's how it always will be. I always felt like there was something wrong with me. the way I act or speak, it's not the same as everybody else. i tried talking about it, "Everybody feels that way." yes. they do. but the thing is, it's (Mostly) never true yea? with autism you're aware that you are speaking in a very unnatural manner, you are aware of the stares you receive as you speak, of the brief, unnatural silence after you finish talking. Because it's happening. it's not in your head. its real. and happening right now. but neurotypicals straight up just refuse to believe this. at least from my experience. they insist that I'm overreacting, or overanalysing it. but I'm fucking not. its happening right in front of me, broad as day.

you're constantly justifying your own experiences. trying to make them understand, until you realize, Why am I trying to convince this person? that sounds like something somebody who is trying to fake it would do. you start second guessing yourself, Maybe I am over exaggerating. I read that person wrong, or that didn't actually happen. you become that opposing side in your own head as you grow up. no-one else needed. and so, you get the feeling that everyone, along with yourself, is constantly doubting your claims. Which isn't good at all. if I don't have autism then who am i? i clearly dont know myself well enough, am i sure i'm even who i want to be? even writing that last part there, i thought to myself; Don't be so dramatic! it's not that big a deal. but it is. it so is.

Shit as it is, if there was a cure for autism, I wouldn't want it. it makes me who I am, and as fucking annoying as it is I wouldn't change it. I just kind of wish more people would understand it, or at least accept it, rather than deny it.

TLDR; it feels like most ppl including urself dont belive you which is shit, but its not at the same time idk man its confusing.

After building only base game for over a year, I treated myself and got some EP's and GP's.

For Christmas of 2023 I was gifted several EP's and GP's. After spending the last 4 months of building and game play I've been looking at what kind of Save File I wanted to build. I've watched tons of builders, lets plays and save file reviews. After a lot of consideration I decided to make my save file a represenatation of the worlds provided and existing sims lore.. however - I ran into a issue...

What I didnt like was the EA recommendation of having a sim cap of 200. While I understand that most people are using the best that they can I know that not a lot of ram can fathom the capacity of more than 200 sims. I was just completing Brindleton Bay and realized that I had hit this cap and had not finished oasis springs and so forth. You will see this represenation on my gallery of the builds uploaded.

I decided that although my computer (which isint even that high) can handle it but I wanted to be able to share this joy and fun with others. So I went back to the drawing board. My conclusion was this:

I wanted to make a world that was based off of having your sims placed into one main world with the opportunity to to explore the other areas as a vacation. Even with this idea in mind it has still made keeping the sims count to a minimum which seems to hit capacity pretty quickly. So what is another way I can see this idea play out without having to modify it too much?

I decided to cap each world to one particular residential area opposed to building the entire world.

What this means is that the majority of these worlds will consist of community and vacation lots. Residential areas will only be within a street to condense the story and condense the lag. With that being said as much as I wanted to include the sims lore I felt it would be more valuable to start from scratch. So in a turn of events I have decided to make a realalistic save file with a twist. Each world will showcase a different forensic file case. Your sims can travel on vacation to each of the worlds to immerse yourself in each of the cases and see if you can solve it - or maybe you might even know it and want to see how it has panned out.

While I currently do not own all of the packs I do try to limit the residential builds as much as possible. This is more to make it easier on myself to decorate individual styles that match the characters and story as well as being more wide-spread amoung other simmers who I really want to have joy in what I have created. The worlds listed below are what will be inclided and I will include a update weekly on Sunday's on the progress. I would like to really still incorporate some natural elements of the worlds for vacationing purposes as the reason I bought the EP's and GP's that I did is because I have always wanted to visit some of these places. There are also other EP's and GP's that I would like to purchase however with the long list that I have I must be realalistic as to what I can achieve. Should I be able to fill out the remainder of the EP's and GP's that I do have then I will list what packs in order I will be obtaining later on.

This is a huge undertaking so if you happen to be following along or are checking in this is a gentle reminder to be kind and compassionate. I work a FT job and have responsibilities in my downtime, the sims and creating is so much fun for me - its my therapy and I want to keep it that way! Reshade will be added at the end when the worlds are complete. This is the same one that Oshin sim's uses

what makes you love each?

do you have a favorite between the two (or three). does one pull on your heartstrings more than the other?

hi Xiao ☺️ here's my carlando essay so I'll focus mainly on the brothercedes and lest we stappens here. strap yourself, im about to maxplain

first thing about me: my favourite trope in the whole world is friends to lovers (crowd booing) it's having a shared history, the familiarity, how you can only truly hurt someone you love [and the possibility of reconciliation, to come back home insert seb clip about rbr]

brocedes is actually why I got into f1 fandom! i saw ONE (1) Richard Siken edit and it was over for me

literally. i have not used tumblr in 7 YEARS i used it just for lurking and that goddamn edit compelled me to write my first fic (during the writing of which I found out they still lived in the same building??? i lost my mind and have not found it since)

lestappen was a see it to believe it moment, I watched miami gp and saw these two championship rivals being Cute and Max's earnestness to talk to charl got to me. i was like oh yeah okay I see it. i don't choose anything I like, I either see The Vision or I don't -- and while brocedes is like I'm an archeologist excavating a fallen city trying to figure out what happened piece the lore, lestappen is happening In Front Of Our Eyes we're witnessing the stars getting crossed, the history in the making <3

I might have the most confusing layout cause I'm a max girlie whose pfp is charles, and header is brocedes named blorbocedes while I pray on merc's flop era 😭 (ending but never forgotten), while rooting for redbulls [sorry but I've seen my Ferrari girlies SUFFERING, I'll stick to my world champion 🥰]

in many ways, lestappen and brocedes are like a foil to each other (crowd booing, we get it u did literary analysis in highschool once) where brocedes were a childhood friendship gone wrong, lestappen are childhood rivals turned tentative friends. there's just something very compelling about a world champion and his main rival trying to keep a friendship alive while directly competing, and having years of shared history to get there. brocedes DREAMING of becoming teammates, world champions together; both max and charl saying how they have a mutual respect now that they'd both made it to f1. And that's before even touching the cut throat life and politics of getting into f1, the concept of being golden boys.

my favourite lestappen and brocedes parallel is that lewis and nico's first karting race nico led the whole race then on the final lap, lewis crossed him and won the race; and compare with the Inchident™️ but Nico & Lewis became best friends, whereas Charl held an admittedly one sided grudge against Max during their karting days.

brocedes is everything that went wrong, lestappen is how it can go right (we can learn from lovers past who didnt make it)

do I have a favourite? yes. brocedes. i, yeah. they light my brain on fire.

HOWEVER, I enjoy brocedes as a reader and consumer, whereas as lestappen I am compelled to write for them (also I'm the only one who gets them and everyone else is wrong 😤) I suppose it is a bit passé to say anything outside of "ahh I write for myself and inherent love for writing" fuck that lol I write for attention I like it when people read my shit and we can talk about it 🥰🥰🥰 I also disagree with popular fandom interpretation with lestappen (which is fine, it has a huge audience so it clearly works for a lot of people) but that's why I have to write my own food for them. I have so many lestappen wips 😭

(like I don't think charl is a soft fragile thing who needs taken care of, even tho I also mine charl pain for content so like I Get it but also no one else gets it, and don't fucking get me started on the 'jos verstappen's A+ parenting' tag that's another essay in itself)

but for championships, seb still wins his first one in 2010, barricello wins in 2009 for brawn, so that year is still legendary (just without jenson 🥲).

rubens finally becoming a wdc, we love to see it!! also brawn gp story remaining legendary is something so important to me, i love that season

for the engineer!seb au, man this would be so fun to write. for red bull, maybe mark does win at least one championship, or maybe there’s another child prodigy that takes seb’s place, preventing mark from winning even in this au.

or maybe (if we’re in a world without homophobia, why not be free of sexism as well) maybe britta is red bull’s driver, or even susie, setting records and beating everyone on track

susie becoming an f1 driver and winning wdc, oh this has me obsessed. i need a fic like that now

depending on whether this au takes place before or after 2009 (i think it’ll take place 2010, w ferrari taking notice of jenson after his first championship) we’ll see how the race results go

i remember reading somewhere that around that time jenson's manager was even looking up rbr seat for jenson so this suits greatly

if its 2010, then seb during the season is like 22-23 (my baby remains a progidy, even if he is not driving, and made it to the f1 engineering team when he's literally a baby! we love to see it!!), jenson is 30 so yeah, this could be fun

then, if its 2009, then kimi obviously didnt retire after 2009 (which was a very slay thing to do, he went off to do rallying and was frankly an icon) and fernando didnt take his seat. does this mean ferrari pushed massa out three years early?.. hmm, scandalous

because seb is there, maybe ferraris cars will actually be good (don’t kill be tifosi it’s a joke) so kimi or jenson can win

seb bringing that championship home, oh i know you can do it!

this is actually a fun theory bcz in 2010 fernando was the most likely to win (everyone thought that he would win until, well, abu dhabi) and in 2012 seb won over fernando with like three points, so the ferrari cars in those years were actually pretty great. who knows, with seb as engineer, kimi might have won another one.

or maybe jenson became a double consecutive wdc, wouldnt that be a story

ahh all good points anon it makes me so curious about what would’ve happened. maybe i just need to write multiple aus to explore all of the alternatives lol!
