I hope one day to own a piece of beautiful backland. I’ll ride at dusk with the coyotes, rise at dawn with the prairie birds, drink my tea from the sap of a cactus out of my favourite ceramics, have an old dog howling the blues on my porch and a wild horse roaming around. I’ll own some tacky art that decorates the place, have encyclopedias in every corner of the house. I’ll find peace there
