i think the most annoying part about riftan is how people in the fandom treat him 😭 like, most of the fandom seems to either hate his guts or wants him to be in their guts. i just don't get it

#riftan calypse #under the oak tree #utot #uot #scrolling older posts on the under the oak tree tag is... not an experience i thought it would be i guess #i kind of understand? like #ill idolize character but #i cannot imagine myself mashing bathing suit areas with them.#and its hard to form deep and insightful opinions about characters without knowing the whole story #and this isnt to say that people can't rant about them and/or their behavior (obviously)#but after reading his behavior in book one AND his pov.. like how can u not sympathize with him at least a little #i have more to say but i've already gone on long enough #if i'm still mad tmr ig i'll js post about it then #ranting in the tags #rambling in the tags
