totk update, since I realized I haven't talked much on here about it:

I beat the Wind and Water temples. wind bc Rito Village is basically where Purah wants you to go right off the bat (and I had no better ideas so I just headed out in that direction), and I stumbled upon water after i...

Investigated Kakariko Village and the Ring Ruins, which was interesting, but ended up leaving after a bit since I couldn't figure out if there's a main quest there (I did the sidequest where you read all the tablets)

unlocked one Great Fairy by bringing minstrels to her in a cart (badly, I am no great horseman) and it delights me that you can just do that instead of having to pay 10 million rupees this time

Tried to get into the lost woods to get to the korok forest, but couldn't figure out how and gave up eventually. I'll go back there someday

Found 2 of the geoglyphs, those memories, man....just kill me it'd be nicer

After finishing the water temple I decided to just run around the world and vibe for a bit before attempting the Gerudo and Goron quests (in botw those two were the hardest, so I'm lowkey expecting them to be the hardest here).

Haven't explored the sky islands or the depths much. I'll go to the sky if I can get there easily but I want more hearts before I attempt the depths. Also, just enjoying being back in Hyrule again.

That said, I LOOOOOOOOVE the caves. LOVE THEM. even though they have like likes. They're so cool, have so much cool loot, etc.

I love how they built onto botw. I did not think they could make botw hyrule feel like a minimalist kinda world but oh man. There's SO much more here!!

I'm so happy bc all I've wanted is to replay botw with new shrines and quests and some new parts of the map to discover and...that's basically what totk is.

Haven't built anything too extravagant yet bc, as my coworker said, it's kind of annoying when you spend so much time building something and end up abandoning it after a few minutes bc you don't need it anymore.

Side note, this Zelda figure that's telling people bonkers shit around Hyrule...is that Ganondorf in disguise? Somehow?? Or is she just seeming like an asshole bc it's all Part of Some Greater Thing?

Anyway I'm in a shrine in Hebra right now for some reason (was trying to get to the Sky Cube, fell, woe is me), but once I finish that I might head back to Hateno Village....I hope I still have Hateno House!!!
