getting so frustrated with the world that i might just go reinstall far cry 5 and disappear for a month...

#“why far cry 5 specifically” honestly after the first playthru of it. it somehow snaked its way into becoming my comfort game #which is crazy in and of itself. but idk i just love it and the osts are so fucking peak in that game #“what about bg3” listen. i love bg3 as much as the next guy. but the combat is so stress inducing 😭#fc5 does have frustrating moments (john's bunker......) but ive played thru it and know what i need to do #with bg3 i just kinda pussy out and quicksave/quickload with most of the combat (like missing a shot that i rlly need to hit)#bg3 is nice and all- but nothing beats js getting onto fc5 and beating the dick outta some peggies stealth style #also its so much easier to play stealth (at least for me </3) in fc5- turn based combat is already hard enough for me-#-but trying to do stealth turn based combat is a whole other cup of tea that just burns my tongue everytime i sip it #srry for the wall of tags LMFAO #yapping

Hi! I follow you and see some parts of your comic but.. tbh I’m rlly scared of reading it

I love your style and the snipets I saw I rlly am curious abt the story, but I saw some asks and some here and there, and am actually afraid (and confused) abt the timeline and Donnie. (Ik it’d be solved by me reading it but) I can’t do sad endings or angst/no comfort which is why I haven’t read but gotta say, even for a scaredy cat like me, it looks and seems so COOL!! Your style is rlly comiky and keeps me wanting for more! /gen /pos

So I won’t lie and say it’s not dark, and it’ll probably get a little darker still. The bad timeline especially is going to be pretty depressing. But I also hate hurt/no comfort and I will say I try to balance out all the angst as best I can. The doomed timeline boys may meet tragic ends but I will have them all reunited and at peace. It will hopefully still be satisfying all things considered.

The main timeline boys will 100% have a happy ending. But there is a lot of angst to get through. I also try to tag for the worst of it. So I think anything worth a little ⚠️ (which has only been one part so far) I will do a little summary on the next part so anyone can skip and still be caught up.

Also if you want to brace yourself and see a summary of what I have planned, there is a link to a timeline in my pinned post which spans all the way up to the movie. Idk if you’d be able to get a vibe from that, as it’s very simple descriptions. But I thought I’d mention it!

The kitchen light is soft against your eyes but harsh for Morpheus - he’s hanging off your back, arms around your neck as you carry him piggyback style. He’d been sick all week and hadn’t done much but steal your softest clothing, an old hoodie, a beanie, and socks, the only article of cloth belonging to him being his pants. The shirt underneath the hoodie also belongs to you, an old sleep shirt he’d grown attached to. You’d taken most of the week off to look after him, and he’d repaid you with many thanks and a happy sound like the one he’s making.

Morpheus liked to drink warm milk before bed; the specific recipe was from his childhood, something his father used to make and something he drank whenever he got sick. “Cinnamon?”

You turn your head at the sound of your voice; his head’s turned up slightly, eyes droopy as he asks for the spice. You smile, “Of course, love,” you reply. He gets down from your back, shuffling over to the spice cabinet; he returns to you with the spice, dropping almost half of it inside the milk bubbling on the stove. He smiles when you shake your head, leaning against you once the cinnamon is returned. You place your hand on his forehead, glad to feel the fever hasn’t returned; all that’s left right now is the sore throat, which should clear up by tomorrow. The hood’s cast over his head, and he’s drawn the strings to hide his face from the lights. He hops on the counter as you move to switch the stove off, dividing the milk into two cups; you pass him his before joining him on the countertop.

It’s long since stopped raining, and you’d spent the day snuggled on the couch, watching various movies as the day went by, the most eventful occasion being the half-hour you spent trying to get your boyfriend to take his medicine. Now, as you took the last sip of your warm drink, you slid off the counter; taking Morpheus’ cup, you placed them in the sink, leaving them for tomorrow. You and Morpheus went to prep for bed - brushing your teeth, checking the locks, all that stuff; when you got to bed, Morpheus was already wrapped in blankets, curled in comfort, and when you got into bed, curled in your arms. When morning comes, Morpheus is better, free from his cold, but you awake with a sneeze, puffy eyes, and a sore throat.

Wilbur Zero:

I know he's like fully grey in the show but (just like Jeff) I feel he's only just going grey, tho it probably makes more sense him being fully grey from stress 💀

Also note I think I've perfected his froggy face in my style and I love him so much.

Jeff Tracy

U guys know me and my love for Jeff (bet u didn't expect this lil lesbian to love all the dads >:), it's not my fault there's no mums, besides Mrs Zero /ily queen/ so I gotta go to someone 🙄)

Anyway, Jeff scars from missions (they r all gonna be like this I apologise.) But also added gun scarring cause yeah.

He's really tall, he's the soft giant of the trio, Shane's a lil shorter and Sam's even shorter (idk why I didn't have those guys in the line up)

He's tall and slim (OS focused, NCS white is a bit wider.)

Bullet wounds again (as well as other scars), from missions and being a military fella

Surgery scar on his stomach. (Don't ask what for cause I haven't thought about that) 🤔

I will always draw him with fully white hair cause even if he is one of the youngest and may not like be fully grey at his age I just find it funny if he dyed it/went white rlly early and it just happened to match his code name perfectly. (even tho it bugs me that he's col WHITE and his name's Charles GRAY)

Sam Shore

how do you choose what art you reblog and like? i want to tag my art more effectively so it gets seen but no matter what i do it doesn't really work

do you like scroll through the tags or only look at what your mutuals reblog?

Ngl though abt this one for a while.

I usually go through my dash and see what the mutuals are throwing around, but i do go through the tags every now and agin if i have the time. My schedule is crammed these past few months and for me to sit down and take the time to look up art is rare. But thats only me. I see people on here posting and rebloging new fantastic art everytime i log on.

Not that I’m an expert or smthn, but I do find that statistically my art does better when its posted alongside a story or my own thoughts and whatnot. And thats perfect for me cus i have too much lore stored in my shit doodles that getting it out and it being recieved well is a god damn miracle. I can do that less these days but regardless i find giving us the lore of the drawing and your hcs is the besstttt shitt. I know I love when a helltalia artis tdumps their (especially historical and related) hcs and stories with their art.

Everyone here has their niche and why they repost certain art types. I enjoy sorta semi relaistic art styles, historical/political integration of these characters, a good sad angsty hc/story etc…

I think the best way really is just finding your niche and working it through, developing your hcs, sharing them, interacting with people whose posts you really like… tags are good but i personaly dont really think you can rely on them. Maybe even reblog your own art every once in a while. You can also do that for it to be seen more.

But then again im not sure im the person to ask. I started drawing an posting n shit cus my brain was gonna explode if i didnt share it with someone and i didnt rlly care to tag it that well :/ maybe it does work and maybe it doesnt idk

So I’m thinking abt watching the new td season. I’m prob gonna split it into chunks bc it’ll be my reactions to all the episodes plus pre & post thoughts of the season, so if you wanna know my thoughts, just go to the 'total drama revival episode rambles' tag

Firstly, let’s start off with some pre-watching thoughts. These are just bullet points based on the trailers and promo pics I’ve seen. (I’ve only seen part of one trailer—I forgot which one—and some of the promo pics.)

I know most of the major details of the season bc of spoilers but I’ll try to pretend like I don’t lmao though there might be some occasions when I reference smth—I’ll put those in brackets ( [ ] ).

Now onto my thoughts!!

PRE-WATCHING THE TD SEASON:

PRIYAAA!!! [ A lot of ppl on here initially brushed her off as the Nice Girl, but I was with her from the frigging start and wanted her to go far in the season! ] As a desi female, I was so so happy to see desi rep AND her name is Priya!! It’s so pretty and ties into cultural heritage, and fgdgdgdgd I’d already hc her as bi fyi (yeah it could be me projecting on her, that’s okay. That’s f i n e. She seems like such a bisexual though)

Axel should be a lesbian. It’s what she deserves

Tbh I never rlly vibed with Ripper. Sure he seemed cool and ppl kept calling him the ‘nowen child’ but he’s pretty meh to me

I didn’t rlly try to guess who the gay couple would be ngl. But I lowkey wanted one half of it to be Chase bc it would’ve been so funny if the one person most ppl labeled as The Token Straight was n o t like imagine how many mouths that would’ve shut 😂

Chase & Zee would’ve been a v cute pair. Plus the shipname Chazee is adorable hhfgdgd if they don’t end up canon, it could be a good noncanon ship 🤷‍♀️

Chef and Chris eyeing each other in the promo pics like come on. Gimme some of that chref content

Julia and Nichelle would be so. amazing. together.

I think I’m the minority who believed that the Hockey Duo wouldn’t end up together. Idk they give off a bros/bromance vibe, and that’s it lmaooo

I’m so so interested in Scary Girl and how her character will be like!!

Bowie’s style is odd but funky—10/10, love it!! Def gives me gay vibes

Caleb seems like a Justin. Plus of c o u r s e his name is Caleb smh (no offense to ppl named Caleb)

Chase was only in the trailer for like less than five seconds but if anything happens to him, I’d kill everyone in the room and then myself. Idk man, he seems like Such A Guy, I just know he’ll be one of the ppl on the show I’ll be fixated on. Plus I love the name Chase.

[ I saw a post calling Chase a ‘boyfail’ and cryinggdgd lmao ] [ Chase overall seems to have mixed reactions among fans, so I’m gonna tread lightly around him. I just hope he doesn’t end up like Dave. I adored Dave when I started PI, but then…all that happened and he’s hated so much. Genuinely hope Chase doesn’t end up like that, pls pls pls I’m counting on you buddy. Don’t fuck it up *cue that one meme I know you guys are thinking abt* ]

Chase & Priya seems like such a popular ship. Ngl their dynamic interested me too-

I saw a post comparing Zee to Shaggy from Scooby-Doo and I’m like :0 fr though?? makes me love Zee even more!

So where exactly will this take place? Camp Wawanakwa?
