Ok just watched the last ep of owl house so like warning for spoilers~~~~

Thoughts I had prior to, during, post

1- wow if Belos, a witch-hunter who literally wants to kill all witches, doesn’t misgender Raine than the bar for transphobic assholes should really not be hard to reach (I.e., if Belos can do it, so can you)

2- it took me longer than it should have to realize that the tear marks on Raine’s face were their scars from the possession and then I was just like omg my baby

3- Huntlow at the end. I… their looks, waffle/waffles the palisman, hunter carving palismen, flapjacks grave, willow adding flowers

4- CANON DADDRIUS also was that a hint of Alador x Darius i saw at the end Dana. BESTIE U REALLY SAID U HEADCANON I CANON.

5- THE EARRINGS. Stop it

6- Lilith being harpy Lilith and omg her look and just the confidance and her and Steve’s friendship and Hooty

7- HOOTY U BEAU

8- raine and eda sitting in mini nest in the owl house or actually I’m not sure but I’m guessing that is where they were at the end and I just. My babies

9- vee at the end. Also I see ppl being like background pic confirming them and frick I forget other besties name bc it’s 3 am but them two together

10- Luz in titan form… ok I’m ngl I was like a lil hyped that she might stay that way… but literally KINGS DAD who IS HIS MOM AND DAD AH also back to Luz… WHEN EDA AND KING GO FULL FERAL GOBLIN AFTER LUZ *dies*

11- CAMILLA BEING LIKE ITS BEEN A WEEK LUZ

12- Raine fighting belos, raine stumbling, raine breaking their instrument in a last ditch effort, them whistling to themself, them having lost their glasses and being terrified because they can’t see its Eda, them continuing to fight alongside Eda, king and Luz after all that. CAN U TELL RAINE HAS WORMED THEIR WAY INTO MY HEART.

13- Edas smile when Luz is like where is the magic from… the heart. Idk why but this smile specifically

14- I feel like I must have seen hunter smile before now… well… but that gap tooth smile after they defeat Belos

15- I LOAF YOU

16- EVERYONES NEW LOOKS. BECAUSE GUS. And LUZ. AND VEE. AND AMITY. AND ANYONE ELSE.

…ok I must sleep but this is not the end. Don’t worry I’ll tag it with all the things so hopefully y’all’s who have yet to see this don’t get spoilers. Me being from Canada and being a uni student with no easy access to cable understands that heh.

WATCHING AND DREAMING SPOILERS!!!!!!!

ok but can we PLEASE talk about the future seen in watching & dreaming????

first of all: dana terrace is doing gods work out there. queer, latina, black, and trans kids will be able to see themselves in her characters and i think that is really beautiful. fuck disney for cancelling the show x100000

secondly: STOP IT BECAUSE ITS LITERALLY THE CUTEST THING EVER. i will admit at first i was VERY against huntlow but now i straight up love them, they're so perfect for each otherrrr!! also my boy hunter finally got some sleep, his eyebags are gone (hunter x sleep best ship)

also THE MATCHING FLAPJACK TATTOOS??? too cute i might (read: definitely will) cry

i LOVE how everyone was so supportive of luz!!! they all gathered together and threw a quinceañera (or should i say KING-ceañera) for her bc she missed it helping them rebuild the boiling isles... they r so cute!!

also everyone's futures are SO PERFECT. the designs are GOLD and they all got to do what the wanted to do (willow with flyer derby, gus with human studies, hunter studying wild magic and carving palismen, luz doing literally everything)

here is a comprehensive list of what the hexsquad + parental figures are doing in the future:

- hunter is carving palismen with edas parents and the bat queen. he also has a new blue-jay palisman and her name is waffles and i love her very very much

- willow is a pro flyer derby player

- flapjack..... i think we all know what happened to flapjack

- lillith is an architect and is helping to rebuild hexside (she also still has a personal vendetta against flora desplora) + she can go harpy mode!!!

- hooty is still and forever will always be just hooty and i love that.

- amity is making abomination tech with her dad and has an AMAZING new look

- mattholomule finally grew a moustache

- principal bump is now a gardener. good for him he deserves a break

- alador is a good person now and has figured out a way to get rid of coven sigils. he's also gay for darius i think (FUCK odalia bro!!!)

- darius is... idk what darius is. basically he's now hunters full ass father and is also gay for alador

- raine is helping to conduct research on the new sigil removing process but more importantly is OFFICIALLY BACK TOGETHER WITH EDA

- gus is now directing a human exchange program at a school for wild magic (!!!) and has a SICK new look

- quite possibly the best of all, eda is the headmaster of the school!!! she also has a captain hook-style hook for an arm and i think that is wonderful. she also FINALLY learned how to do the staff spin from season 1

- vee is still amazing and has a new look, also i'm seriously hoping she's with the human who worked at the gravesfield museum and did tarot because they would be SO CUTE

- luz reigns supreme as the queen of doing literally everything and has about 10 different majors at her college. she also has eyeliner skills that i am seriously jealous of

and HOW COULD I FORGET. king now has glyph magic???? he's getting powerful as fuck apparently so now luz gets to learn a whole new glyph system while she's at college

anyways final thoughts are: this episode was a masterpiece esp considering what dana was working with only having three episodes to fill. and of course, say it with me now:

OH BOY DO I HAVE MANY THINGS TO TALK ABOUT.

Amity seeing the twins again. 10/10, made me tear up (where tf is Alador tho. i need to see my cringefail husband again)

Willow bottling everything up like girl same lol. i'm so happy to see more of her, but at xhat cost </3

SO MUCH MATTHOLOMULE CONTENT. so his name is Mat(t?) Tholomule?? Mattholomule Tholomule??? why does everything need to be so complicated wit this kid. i like the fact he's never corrected anyone either in the past like ajhsajhsf ALSO HE'S DOING ABOMINATION MAGIC?? I MAY BE DRUNK BUT I SWEAR I SAW HIM USE ABOMINATION MAGIC. AND GUS TEACHING HIM ILLUSIONS IS CANON. GUSTHOLOMULE NATION RISE UP, I WANT ALL YOUR BEST FANARTS ON MY DESK BY MONDAY

[edit: it was just Amity's in Matt's place. i may be dumb, but hey i could see him try abomination magic]

i'm so happy he gets so much screentime and so many interactions with Gus like!!! i've been FUCKING FED. still no palisman tho </3 (unless i've missed it?? i've blacked out a couple times i think)

also i can't believe his facial hair was actually drawn on, i guess i have to update the comic i'm working on ajhsfajsf SHIT. "Man-ttholomule" my ass. it's funny how the Matt fans instantly recognized that the weird faces the squad was pulling in one of the trailers was actually because of him, we know him so well <3

LUZ'S PALISMAN IS SO FREAKING CUTE!!!! i love how everyone thought this was gonna be a snake aaand close enough <3 lil shapeshifter friend. a lovely pal. can't wait to see more of them (i can't remember their name I'M SORRY-)

why is Kikimora always so extra. i swear this woman is going to be the death of me, like ma'am this is a school full of traumatized kids, get outta here

i actually cried at Camila talking to Luz right before her palisman hatched. i wish she was my mom and would kiss my dumb lil forehead

the Collector being manipulated by Belos ONCE AGAIN ASAJSF i swear he's going to be his therapist's most loyal patient </3 i was really expecting him to lose his powers and thus Belos being the true villain of the very last episode idk

also can you guys leave Raine alone for 2 minutes. my pal's been through enough, let them just kiss their monster wife in peace like 🙄

HUNTLOW SHIPPERS HOW ARE WE FEELING..... Hunter tackling Willow into a hug like he had 10 seconds left to live......... mgnhmmn

SPEAKING OF WHICH i knew Hunter gaining Flapjack's powers was a popula theory BUT I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED LIKE!!!! GO WHITE BOY GO

Boscha being Amity's bitter ex is so funny to me. it shouldn't be bc hey, Amity dropped her to hang out with a stranger that has been here for just a couple months, but it's still funny to me. stop white girl stop

also hot take but i'm really not a big fan of Lilith's new haurcut I'M SORRY </3 she's prettier with long hair imo. she's very cute as a ginger tho (no comments on Eda, she's as hot as ever)

i can't wait to see what(s gonna happen in the very last episode!!! i'm still convinced the Collector will lose his powers in some way and Belos will get his ass kicked

speaking of Belos i'm relieved he didn't get to use one of Caleb's bodies, could you imagine the trauma for Hunter to see this shit?? also the weird Caleb ghost following him around like. my man's haunted by the narrative etc

last but not least: this was Odalia's most huiliating episode. would recommend watching just for that tbh

in summary: 9/10 could use more Steve content tbh

Kai is kind of like Luz’s older sibling

Kai and their mom live with Camila after their mom divorced her dad, and has basically been Luz‘s childhood friend/sibling figure

Kai is usually very quiet and never really speaks, but whenever they do their usually saying something sarcastic or smug, but they’re secretly very kind and compassionate towards people they are close to (such as Luz)

Kai loves Luz like a sister, but also resents her because people in the demon realm always seem to prefer her over them

Kai usually hangs out with Hooty a lot since they’re both attention deprived, and once Lilith came along, they became a trio instead of a duo

Eda prefers Luz over Kai, which is another reason why they hang out with Lilith a lot, because she doesn’t play favorites

Kai is the more pessimistic one, and always focuses on the negative instead of a positive

Kai is also an over thinker, constantly wondering if Luz doesn’t need them anymore because of her new friends or if everybody secretly hates them

The reason why Kai doesn’t have any friends in the human realm was because of their interest in true crime and missing person cases, everybody found it weird and creepy when they were just interested in it

Kai is good at giving advice and helping people

Kai is extremely selfless and doesn’t focus on their own well-being that often

Kai’s father was abusive towards them, which is why their mother divorced him

Kai loves studying things about the Boiling Isles, which is what they do most of the time since nobody really hangs out with them

Kai has insomnia

Kai likes exploring the Boiling Isles with portable Hooty

I match them with: Willow Park!

-Willow would solve puzzles with them.

-Obv with them liking nature and her liking plants and all that.

-Also to expand on that last one of liking nature not only does she like plants she loves animals of all types.

-Girl collects stuff animals.

-Okay I'm sorry that I keep bringing my ships into this but I ship huntlow, so I guess she just has a thing for Luz's older siblings.

-Idk why and canon literally disproves this in a way but I feel like Willow gravitates toward quiet people. (I know she is best friends with Luz and Gus 2 outgoing people but trust me on this one-)

-Willow treats Kai and Luz on the same level ( Okay she's Kai's girlfriend in this but she doesn't favor one in general yk?)

-Willow would reassure them, bro. She is literally known for being the person who cheers her friends up, I think it's called mom friend but I really don't know.

-If you don't have at least one "weird" interest you can't be friends with Willow actually.

-Honestly, they both seem to have their own problems but focus on others. So they just go in a circle of trying to help each other overcome their problems while not fixing their own.

-She would try to help them with their insomnia.

-Also I might be misremembering but (excluding Lilith) of all the characters who talk about Hooty she's the nicest. She makes one off-handed comment. So she'd be able to get along with Hooty.

Here to talk about Gus (headcanons and thoughts, in no particular order)!!

- Gus tells Luz he wants to study human magic/magicians too. Luz just scoffs and says something like ("why would you even want to, its not even real magic just..." "llusions? ;)" "Huh. You got me!)

- Viney is 1000% down to help Gus make that tunnel beneath the school from his bucket list.

- Once the whole world gets put back to normal, and when he's not working with Viney on the above "project," Gus spends his school day hanging out with Hunter and Luz (who have all their classes together since they're both doing all the tracks) being a Supportive Friend(tm), learning glyph magic (good for offensive magic to balance out his illusions, + they're how he can incorperate the smoke-and-mirrors human magic to his repertoire

- He gives his palisman a human nickname too: Emmy-B ;)

- The illusions class can't really teach gus anything anymore tbh--he could probably teach the class? So the only time he's in the classroom is when Hunter and Luz have illusions and he tags along, or when the teacher asks him to mentor matt. When someone complains, the teacher smartly points out thay when you can attend illusions class and do all their homework WITH an illusion, they are free to not bother coming in too. (They don't even touch the fact his illusions are sentient, seemingly without him even having to try which should be impossible but hey I guess thats par for the course for gus)

- Gus makes illusion copies of all his friends, they're pretty useful when you want to do some mischief. Except for Hunter. "Cause there's only one Hunter." Gus says materoffactly when asked

- Gus can run someone through their worst fears with graye's seeing glass. When Gus is chosen as Grom King he is the last of the royal line because when he beats the demon of fear with fear itself Grom gets gone'd for good. Master of Ceremonies for a REASON

- In the eventual huntlow household, they have a guest room and a Gus room its nonnegotiable.

- Gus worries that he's "so dumb" when it comes to other people. And yet he strives to overcome and work on those soft skills whenever he can, from MC'ing at Grom, to doing interviews of Eda and King, serving as president of a club, to his ultimate aspiration of being a witch AMBASSADOR to the human realm, and idk I just think that's so admirable.

- Gus teaches Hunter how to surf-style ride his palisman in exchange for learning how to do a backflip. He reallllyy wants to do a backflip "or die trying!" (Hunter is 100% with him on the die trying energy. Willow is not. How does hunter know how to do a backflip btw? *Flashbacks to hunter flinging himself off snowy cliffs during scout trials in the EC* "Trial and error...")

- Gus keeps pretty silent after waking up after their first night in the human realm. Silent like Hunter and Luz. They all have haunted eyes, but he knows he must look terrible because he's seen some things. Heard names. And when he's finally the only one up one night he gives Flapjack an ultimatum (a picture frame of a memory, of a too-familiar shape atop a too-familiar blonde, etched unto his mind): he knows about Philip. He knows about Caleb. And it's either Flapjack tells Hunter everything the next day or Gus will.

Ahhhh I'm going to stop here but just know I could still go on and on!!

These are so gooooood!! I've been losing my mind over this since I first read it. Probably the best Gus ask I've ever received. You UNDERSTAND this funky little dude.

- Gus wanting to become a magician is SO fucking on brand for him. Like?? The witch kids learn that the Human Realm has their own version of "magic" which Willow, Amity and Hunter are kinda dismissive of at first. ("Sooo...its fake then? They lie about having magic??") But Gus is SO fucking into it. Cause its HUMAN magic!! Of course he wants to study human magic!!! He's deeply fascinated by the whole concept. And he masters it. Because of course he does.

Like "magic" tricks are not a thing in the Boiling Isles. There is no reason for them to exist. So Gus fucking wows Willow, Hunter and Amity with his little performances. He's pulling "Is this your card?" type shit that blows their minds. Cuz like. It's very obvious when a witch is using real magic cuz they need to cast spell circles and hold on to them. But Gus is evidently not using a lick of magic for his tricks, which drives the other witch kids completely bonkers. Like "HOW ARE YOU DOING THAT??? HOW??? HOW????"

Gus doesn't tell them. It's partly payback for making fun of human magic and partly because a magician never reveals his secrets. That was the very first thing he read when he started studying "magic" and he takes it very seriously.

I could see him idolizing Harry Houdini. He's committed to studying his escape artist tricks and figuring how he pulled them off. He plans on trying them out himself one day.

Street performer Gus!! Gus getting booked for birthday parties!!! Gus in a sparkly little waistcoat and a top hat that he pulls rabbits out of. Except he doesn't have a rabbit so he uses Ghost. Luz, Willow, Hunter and Amity all take turns being his lovely assistant.

(Magician Gus really evoked my Gus passion. This is SO good. Thank you for this one.)

- VINEY AND GUS DELINQUENT DUO!!! This made me think about how chill yet chaotic Viney is and how she was a former "delinquent" which reminded me that Matt is also a huge detention rat. I feel like an overlooked part of Gus and Matt's friendship is that they would probably enable each others' impulsive and and unhinged tendencies. Gus Viney and Matt delinquent trio would be so powerful. It's like. When Gus is hanging out with his usual best friends, they keep him out of trouble and are like "Gus no." So when this happens, he turns to his OTHER batshit insane friends who are like "GUS YES."

The three of them have snuck into Hexside at like 2am to dig. Regular teen experiences yknow.

- Gus a confirmed nuisance because whenever Luz and Hunter have illusion classes he's always there like "Hiiiiiiiiiiiii <3" and keeps distracting them and making them laugh. He eventually needs to be seated on the other side of the classroom. And yet he STILL distracts them and makes them laugh. Gus please let your friends learn.

Also yeah he really is just at Hexside to kill time and hang out with his friends. Gives him some stability to his daily routine. Also if he wasn't a student he couldn't be on the Flyer Derby team.

I absolutely could see him (Hunter too) being taught more about glyphs by Luz and eventually advancing to combos. (Love how Gus the Chaos Boy knows how to use the arson glyph. That feels cosmically correct.) It's yet another form of human magic, so of course Gus is interested, while Hunter is really into it as its a technique of savage age witch history.

- Judging by Clover and Flapjack, I think the palismen already had names when they were adopted. Though it's possible some didn't so this headcanon could absolutely still hold up. I like to imagine that Emmiline Bailey Marcostimo was originally carved and named by another witch who was also fascinated with humans, so when she found Gus, she was overjoyed. And when he learns her name, he's overjoyed too. He loves it. Its so humanish. I love the idea that Gus just never shortens it. He says her full name every single time. She's told him that Emmy is fine but he insists.

Though going with the idea that he named Emmy himself, I love to think about him tirelessly pouring over books on human history, combing out a list of names he likes best and being stricken by indecision, gives her three of them.

- LITERALLY. HE DOES NOT NEED TO ATTEND SCHOOL ANYMORE, HES JUST HERE TO VIBE. Like I feel like if Gus bumped up another few grades and graduated early, he would have to start thinking of his future at the age of 13. Because he's a prodigy and people have high expectations of him. But he's just a kid and he's already been through so much and had to grow up really fast in that time spent in the Human Realm. So these few years left at Hexside are pretty much just fun and carefree teenage fun as far as Gus is concerned. He likes seeing his friends everyday. He likes being on Willow's derby team. He likes watching grudgby matches. He's got so much Hexside pride, he could never abandon it. Hell, Bump probably did ask if he would like to just take his final exams and graduate already, but Gus opted to stay where he was. He's like @Luz, Hunter, Willow, Amity and Matt "I could never leave. You people would be lost without me." And they would tbh.

But yeah Gus's fucking SENTIENT illusions really need to be admired. That boy is on some other shit

- "There's only one Hunter" 😭 No but this one HITS. Like. Oh my God?? And I love to think that, similarly to how Gus's emotional maturity and his quiet perception of Hunter's mental state during Labyrinth Runners was demonstrated, he would understand why he shouldn't make Hunter copies without having to be told. Hunter never says anything about it. Gus never says anything about it. If anyone ever asks "There's only one Hunter" is his only answer. They've never really talked about it but Hunter has noticed and he appreciates it more than words can ever say.

- GROM KING GUS!!! GROM KING GUS!!!! People have been wanting another grom ep for so long (For established lumity and also huntlow reasons) and I've always been indifferent but now I'm like!!! Please!!!! Please grom episode just so I can see Grom King Gus in action!!!! That's so galaxy brained too. He WOULD have an advantage over grometheus wouldn't he?? Monster's not expecting a witch who can bounce his own power back at him.

Oh my god. So you know how in Looking Glass Ruins, Gus reads out the names of some illusionists and they all have their own titles?? (the vision creator, the mirage maker etc.) What if, once Gus defeats Grometheus, he also takes his title as his own?

Gus the Fear Bringer.

I'm thinking so hard about this, it's so good. Gus would have to give up his MC duties for this one. He would pass the honor on to Luz, to which she swears not to let him down. She and King are an awesome MC team.

Also I'm losing my shit over the thought of like

Hunter: Not only am I going to my first high school dance, which is nerve racking enough on its own, but my date is Willow Park. There is nothing that could make me any more stressed.

Gus: Guess who just got chosen to take on Grometheus? :))))))

Hunter: I stand corrected.

- Asgdhgjnk Gus has a room in the huntlow house. Gus has a mug in the huntlow pantry. Gus has his shows recorded on the huntlow crystal ball dvr or whatever the fuck they use. He has his own key to the huntlow house. When they go grocery shopping, they make sure there's always plenty of food that Gus likes. He's not even there half the time, but it just feels like he lives here.

Willow doesn't mind if her friends show up uninvited into their house. But Hunter gets so pissed about it. He gets home just to find Luz and Amity sitting on his couch. Who the fuck let you two in here? Did yall even KNOCK?? But Gus is exempt. Gus can do whatever he wants. Gus could show up at 2am and Hunter, while 90% unconscious, would be like "hi Gus!"

Willow could never imagine a reality where Gus wasn't just a regular inhabitant of her home. It's been like that since she was thirteen and Gus started inviting himself in whenever he pleased.

- :0!!! I never thought of this before!!! Gus really does think so lowly of his own people skills but he works tirelessly to improve them. He really puts himself out there and it's so cool of him!! And like, despite how often he's been deceived and manipulated, he just has such a love for people as a whole and strongly believes in the decency of others. He loves to talk!! He loves making connections!! He wants to entertain people, he wants to talk with people, he wants to understand people.

And yeah it's absolutely partly tied to his own future ambition. An ambassador needs to be charismatic and emphatic, so he's really doing the most he can to fully round himself. I love Gus so much!!

- Gus and Hunter learning from and teaching each other is one of my favourite headcanons ever!! Still love the idea that Hunter teaches Gus self defense cuz he thinks the way Hunter fights is SO COOL. Gus isn't much of a physical fighter but he teaches him enough that he could probably defend himself if cornered.

But YEAH!! Staff surfing and backflips. They both believe the others' respective staff skill the coolest shit ever.

I feel like Willow has always fretted over Gus's reckless nature but ever since Hunter entered the picture, she's been a lot more chill. Cuz she doesn't feel like she has to constantly watch him, cuz if he's out there doing insane shit, Hunter is usually with him. And Hunter is perfectly capable of keeping up with whatever Gus is doing and will usually hype him up, but it's like. Whenever they're about to run off to do the stupid stunt of the week, Hunter and Willow always exchange a look that's like

"Keep him alive."

"Don't I always? <3"

- THIS ONE HITS TOO!! Gus gets so wrapped up in his feelings of fear and helplessness that he clings extra hard to what he does have, namely his friends. The things he's seen and heard shake him to the core but that's not what matters right now. Once he's had some time to process everything, his biggest concern is Hunter. And he goes fucking OFF at Flapjack. Like it's up in the air whether Flapjack is in the right or wrong for hiding this, (he is only a little birdie. And is probably hesitant to hurt Hunter any further with the truth.) but Gus is so agitated by the trauma he's experienced and is driven entirely by his own love of Hunter that he feels personally betrayed by Flapjack's actions.

His voice is brimming with anger and devastation as he demands "How could you keep this from him? This isn't what a palisman is supposed to do. You're meant to be his lifelong friend, but all this time you've been letting him live a lie....you know what? Fine. Maybe you don't intend to act like a friend, but I do. So either you figure out how you're gonna tell him, or I'm doing it myself."

It's just!!! Aaaaaaa!!!!

Request (if you’re up to it?): Belos possessing or somehow subtly influencing/convincing Hunter in the Human realm after the whole DoU stuff, since that goop fell on my boy Hunter and all. Just…idk how to put it? A lot like intrusive thoughts, and it’s slowly driving Hunter to a strange breaking point, having this voice always whispering in his ear and guiding him towards rather unsavory actions. (Looking at you, Palisman. Rip.)

“HUNTER!”

How did I get here?

Hunter blinked at the door to the old house, Flapjack nestled asleep in his hair and Clover on his shoulder. Luz jogged up next to him.

“Hey! You were really in your head, huh? I called your name like five times. Taking a walk?”

Hunter shook his head, disoriented. “I… I thought I was… I was taking a nap on the couch, I thought…” He reached up to touch the palisman in his hair, grounding himself. “What are you doing here?”

Luz opened the door, closed it, then opened it again. “Just… checking.” She sighed. “Pretty stupid of me, I guess. Are you feeling okay?”

Hunter shook himself. “Fine. I’m fine.” He rubbed his arms. “Let’s just… go back?”

“Yeah. Yeah, you got it.”

Why was I out there?

Hunter shook his head again to clear it, and headed into the kitchen. Ms. Noceda had said she’d be home late, and he wanted to get all of the vegetables for tonight’s dinner chopped so that she’d have less work when she got home—he might not be quite used to the fine art of cooking, but he could do that much at least.

The lettuce made a nice crunch as he cut through it, clean and fresh.

Crunch.

Stab yourself.

Hunter yanked his hand away from the blade as it careened towards him, just barely missing. He blinked at the blade, then the lettuce, and then at the blade again. And then back at the lettuce. He gingerly picked up a leaf and carried it outside to the garden where Willow was at work making weeds pull themselves out of the soil and plant themselves elsewhere. “Hey… Captain?”

She dusted her hands off, turning to face him. “Hey, what’s up, Hunter?”

Hunter held out the leaf. “Does this look okay to you, or does it look like it’s gone bad?”

She took it, examined it, sniffed it, then handed it back. “Seems to be okay. Why, did it taste weird?”

“Uh… I don’t know. Does lettuce have malicious tendencies towards witchkind?”

Technically not a witch.

“Nooooot that I’ve found so far.” She squinted. “Maybe you’re allergic? Weird, the lettuce the other day was fine for you. Are you feeling okay?”

Aside from the sleepwalking and weird thoughts?

“Haha yeah, of course, I’ve never had a sick day in my life!”

She got that weird, mildly disturbed look on her face that she and Gus sometimes got when he talked about the emperor’s coven and put her hand on his forehead. “Mmmmmm okay. You don’t have a fever, but, uh, maybe take it easy the rest of the day? What happened with the salad, anyway?”

“Oh, nothing. Just… being careful! We don’t know everything we can eat here right now, and even just a slightly-different lettuce species could kill us!”

“Oookay. Thanks for looking out for us, Hunter.” She flicked the leaf in his hand. “I proclaim this lettuce quite safe for witch consumption.”

“Thanks, Captain.”

Hunter squinted at the leaf again as he went back inside, then shook his head. It’s not the lettuce, get over yourself.

He finished chopping the rest of the vegetables, then wandered to the bathroom, examining himself in the mirror. Except for a few freckles popping up from his time outside, he looked the same.

Maybe that’s the problem.

Hunter sighed, poking at the bags under his eyes. This is fine. Maybe Willow was right. Maybe he should take it…

Take it easy?! As if you deserve that after everything you’ve done.

Hunter shook his head. “Yeah,” he mumbled out loud, “I’ve got a lot to make up for.”

He rubbed his face, patted his cheeks, then wandered back out. No stopping now.

He picked at his food later that night—as if you deserve to eat after doing nothing all day—pushing it back and forth across his plate.

“Hunter? Are you okay?”

Hunter gave Ms. Noceda a brief smile. “Just… not hungry. I’m sorry.” He pushed the food off of his plate onto Gus’—no sense in wasting it, and Gus was still growing, he needed it.

So do you, a voice whispered in his head, but it was quickly squashed.

You’re not working, so you don’t need the food. What exactly are you doing all day to make you so tired?

He woke up in the middle of the night that night because he stepped on a sharp stone. Ghost was cradled in his arms fast asleep, and he was halfway up the familiar path. He dropped the palisman almost immediately, and it woke up with a yowl, streaking back towards the house in a blur of bristling white. Hunter clutched his head.

What. Is. The matter with me?!

He made his way back to the house, fumbling in the dark for the door handle. He’d never sleepwalked before, but now TWICE?! In the same day?!

Maybe I am sick.

Hunter flipped on the bathroom light, staring at himself in the mirror. He yawned, blinking, and for a moment, just a moment, he thought he saw Belos behind him in the mirror. Hunter lunged forward, grabbing the edge of the sink and searching the mirror, but there was nothing behind him. He shook his head.

Ooooookay, yeah, you definitely need some rest.

He scooped up his palisman from his sleeping bag, stroking his feathers. Belos is gone. The Collector… He shuddered, holding Flapjack close. His hands started to squeeze tighter, almost without thinking, and the bird woke up with a chirp of pain.

Make it be quiet.

Hunter shook his head, letting him go. “Sorry! Sorry. I don’t know… why…” his legs wobbled, and he fell down to his sleeping bag. “I think I just… need to…”

What, sleep? Every time you’ve slept so far, you just wander off.

Hunter pinched the bridge of his nose. “Yeah. Yeah, I just…” He got back up to his feet. “I should…”

Flapjack fluttered around him, chirping at him to just go to sleep, you need it, you look awful, and Hunter waved the bird away. “I…”

“Hunter?” Gus’ voice said sleepily, a hand closing around his arm, “Everything—”

“DON’T TOUCH ME,” Hunter snarled, lashing out and grabbing him by the neck.

Hunter dropped Gus, backing away in horror. “I’m so—Gus, I’m sor—I don’t know why I—I—” He reached out, then stopped, yanking his hand back towards himself. “I’m sorry, I…”

“What’s going on?” Amity’s voice said from the door. Willow murmured in sleepy agreement.

“Everything okay?” someone asked, and Hunter backed away until his back hit the wall.

“Don’t touch him,” Gus half-yelped, half-wheezed, “He’s having a—I don’t know, but you’ll make it worse!”

Hands that had been reaching for him drew back, and Hunter curled into a ball, fingers pressed against his skull so hard he thought they might crack through.

“Hunter? What’s going on? Talk to us.”

Hunter shook his head, curling up tighter.

They’re my friends, they’re my friends, they’re my—

They are our enemies

And if they aren’t yet, they will be.

The world spun, and Hunter gagged. “No…”

“What’s the matter?”

“I don’t know, we woke up, and he was just like this!”

Hunter pressed his arms to his stomach as the overwhelming urge to get them, kill them all swept over him. He beat his head against his knees. “Stop it,” he whispered, “Stop it, stop it, st—”

Hello, Hunter.

“You’re dead,” he whispered, “You’re…”

“Oh my gosh, what the—”

Hunter saw Luz gearing up for a kick, her foot hurtling towards his shoulder, and then something went splat on the wall behind him, and the voice in his head abruptly came to a halt. Amity pounced with abomination magic, scooping up green mud from the wall and then shoving it into a jar and slamming the lid shut.

Willow gently helped Hunter go from fetal position to sitting up. “I, uh… I don’t think it was the lettuce,” she said in a low voice.

“No,” he rasped, burying his face in his hands, “It wasn’t.” He shuddered, trying to shake the heavy feeling on his shoulder off. “I’m sorry,” he whispered to Gus, “I…” He looked up at all of them, all of them with the same expression of horror on their face. “I’m sorry, if I need to—I’ll go somewhere else, I—”

“We’re not mad at you, Hunter,” Luz said quietly, “You don’t have to go.” She looked to Gus. “That is—”

“Y-yeah, man. That wasn’t you, I know you wouldn’t… not anymore. How long has…”

Hunter rubbed his eyes. “I don’t know. It’s… hard. To tell what was him and what was. You know. My thoughts. His… influence. It didn’t start out directly with ‘kill all your friends and their palisman,’ you know.” He shuddered again, rubbing his shoulder. “I…” How many of my thoughts are his thoughts?

Willow wrapped an arm around him, and after a second, Gus wiggled into the hug, too. “Next time you start getting those thoughts, tell us?” Gus offered, “We have Belos now, but… it’s still bad for you if you get in a loop of bad thoughts. Trust me. I’m kind of the expert on getting stuck in your own head.”

Luz plopped down in front of him. “We want to help.” She flicked the jar in Amity’s hands. “No matter what Belos starts whispering to you, we are your friends.”

Hunter’s throat closed up, and he nodded, burying his face in his friends’ arms. “Thanks,” he mumbled, “I… I’ll remember that. I promise.”

I was watching the live and the moment cissy said “huntlow�� i almost fell out of my seat 😅

Turns out dana had an “oh shit” tomato face amity moment while sarah was yelling “turn the cameras turn the cameras” and cissy had to intervene, basically telling us tht it’s s3 spoilers tht “they don’t know.”

Tht’s suspicious……tht’s weird…….

Anyways, we know the coven head names now (and tht dana wanted to explore more of hettie aka the healing coven head but yk, Disney is a bitch), eber goes by he/they mostly (or all), gus’s palisman is named emiline bailey marcostimo (emil or emily for short), the fans and cissy chose the name for Lilith’s palisman and it was between mike and socks sooo it’s settling for both (also, the name is supposed to be ridiculously long but it’s shortened to mike/ socks). OH and the previous grimwalkers had different names but in dana’s mind, belos found the name hunter hilarious (bc witch-hunter) so, he went with hunter.

OH AND ONE MORE THING! We learn tht the in between realm is created by dreams (or where dreams are made of???) so it can be accessed through dreams but idk if it’ll work with other characters or it’s just king since he’s connected to the collector (would be cool if luz will find a way to access the in between realm again to check on the demon realm…..OH THT’D BE SO COOL)

I've seen FTF and I have many things to say, but the first one is who or what is the figure we see when Luz is in the portal. Many people have say that that is a Titan but... Is it possible?

Where is Alador? I don't remember anyone mentioning him (at least Emira and Ed are okey. Well, almost Okey hahaha).

When they go to the memory class (I don't know the name of it): they just leave Luz's memories there. I mean, wouldn't that be like so dangerous? We don't see in any point that they put them again into Luz's head, so I suppose that would play an important role in W&D (?). I think it would be awesome if we get to see Luz's memory lane (although it is kind of impossible, because, yk, time, plot...).

Also, Odalia deserved that, for being a b*tch hahaha.

Oh, and I loved how Camilla threw the bat after kissing it and splashing Kiki's face. That killed me HHAHAHA

I also wonder what happened with the owl beast when it saw the collector. I mean, it was supposed that Eda had controlled it, but no, and then we see in the credits an image of King and Eda out of control. But it also drags my attention that Lilith didn't get out of control when she was near to the collector.

Oh, and I didn't understand the whole scene in the memory class with Hunter, Willow and Gus. I mean, I didn't get it, like: Willow and Gus were trying to make Hunter more comfortable but they fucked it? Or what?

And now Lumity hehehe. I didn't like so much their relation in season 3 (well, in TtT we got to see them dancing in the rain and a whole PowerPoint presentation with photos of them, I can't complain), but in the episodes we didn't get to see so much of them (at least not a proper focus). For example, the cute scene of both talking about palismen in the owl house: it IS so cute, and Amity kisses Luz's head (awww), but then Luz just don't respond to it and it seems like she doesn't want it? It was so rude :'(

Well, and what do you think was that thing that Luz had to tell Amity just before they were interrupted by Kikimora?

Oh, and I also loved how Amity gets Luz out of the portal by the feet hahaha.

I also think that Stringbean likes, like a lot, Amity? I mean, if you see slowly that scene, you can see how the Palisman rubs softly against Amity's cheek. AND THAT IS SO F*CKING CUTE I'M GONNA CRY.

And the whole Boscha - Amity thing. Boscha was behaving like the obsessed -toxic-ex and that made me even laugh.

Overall, the episode was fun and good, although it felt a bit slow. Many say that is because it's not plot centered, but character centered (and, well, ofc it is, they managed to have like a thousand characters on-screen and develope or end their arcs in a proper way -> I mean, when I thought Amity's arc was over like since season 2 episode 2, now we get a whole vision of Amity's change when in detention pit).

And one last comment. Luz's palisman hatches when she is able to figure out what she really wanted (to be understood), but I think that wouldn't make much sense. Let me explain, for the character is absolutely something that would fit, because we've seen how Luz had struggled with the world in general. But for the palisman itself is sth like "?", Because we've seen that, for example, Amity's desire was to make her own path and that's something that takes a long way (I mean, it's not something that can be fulfilled in an instant), but Luz's desire is now fulfiled because her mother has finally understood her (at least that how Luz feels it). Idk if you get me.

There is a Lot going on here so I'm going to answer it all under a read-more :)

1). I mean, it's either a Titan or it's a Titan Trapper. It looks exactly like them, so I can only imagine they'll pop up again in the next episode.

2). I also think we'll see Alador in the next episode. I think he'll probably be okay, but maybe wounded in some regard. I'm honestly just assuming he's a puppet somewhere right now.

3). Yeah, I know what you mean, but honestly I think that's just a detail we'll have to forget about, unless it does somehow come up in the finale (which I doubt will be the case). It is dangerous to leave the photos alone like that, so... maybe after a certain amount of time they automatically disappear without harming the legitimate memories? Something like that.

4). Odalia's still going to be an issue in the finale, though. Mark my words.

5). Camila was PEAK in this episode. "Kikimiki" murdered me.

6). I don't think the Owl Beast likes The Collector at all, which would track, considering what we know of their experiences with one of them, though it wasn't necessarily this Collector. But Lilith's curse is honestly still more manageable than Eda's is, and I don't think she really has an Owl Beast inside her, just a bit of one, which is why she didn't lose it as well.

7). That scene was the culmination of Everyone's issues, but specifically Hunter's and Willow's. Willow was trying to help by showing him a picture of him being happy with Flapjack, Hunter was touched by the gesture and didn't know how to say it, Willow thought that meant she'd messed up, Gus blamed himself for not talking to Hunter earlier, and they just didn't communicate with each other. It's a really well-done scene and it's heartbreaking to watch.

8). I don't think it was rude of Luz, and Amity didn't either. She's hurting, she was damn-near suicidal in Thanks to Them, and Amity's being Peak GF by supporting her, no matter what. As for what she was going to tell her, it was going to be her decision to leave the Boiling Isles.

9). Episode didn't feel slow to me at all! Just different, obviously, and in a good way.

10). I disagree, actually. Sure, in the moment Luz does feel understood by her mother, but that's an eternal goal, especially if she continues on her path in being a witch (and she will). Okay, but Hunter escaping Belos earlier with Luz and staying at Eda's, going to school and everything (perhaps under a different name? Idk) and meets Edric while Luz is showing him around. Ed gets kinda interested in Hunter imidiately and tries to act flirty and teasing, but Hunter mistake it as Ed making fun of him and gets offended/hurt. Disaster misunderstanding first meeting, followed by a lot of shenanigans afterward when Ed struggles to make up for it and Hunter being his precious awkward self, all of which eventually turns into an awesome friendship/crush, with Luz and Em playing wingwomen for them (creating even more shenanigans, but also a lot of fluff)

A second version would be Hunter sneaking away from the castle to keep meeting up with Willow after the ASIAS episode, meeting Edric during one of those visits. It could go similar to the hc above ir they could kinda hit it off quickly, spending time together and texting each other. It would be cute and a comfort during the hard times at their homes. Then Canon would catch up with Hunter learning the truth and hiding away from Belos, eventually founding himself back at the school and helping them fight back against the attack. Thus Ed and Hunter are reunited and Ed is probably feeling a little more protective over Hunter when learning more about his horrible home life.

I like the first version. It sounds cute and it could also work if Hunter had taken Amity's hand back in the episode "Eclipse Lake" and Amity took Hunter back to The Owl House where he started living with Luz after Amity had explained to her and Eda about what had happened there.

For the second version, I thought that it was established in the end of that episode that Willow as well as the rest of the members of the Emerald Entrails didn't forgive Hunter for the part that he played in them getting captured, at least not at that moment since they were still feeling betrayed and hurt by what he did. So, maybe in an alternate reality where Hunter calls Darius before he got there to tell him that he changed his mind about the recruits after he got to really bond with them and seeing how much their palismans mean to them which he knows that Belos will take them, and it would be very hypocritical of him to make them get rid of their palismans when he can't even bear the thought of giving Belos Flapjack. He would still tell them his real name and that he's the Golden Guard but, with Flapjack's help, tells them that he really enjoyed hanging out with them and if they're willing, he'd like to hang out with them again. Naturally, Willow, Gus, Skara and Viney would be a little hesitant considering Hunter does work for Belos who they don't like at all, but they decide to give him a chance and maybe with time, they can convince Hunter that Belos isn't as great as he says he is like Luz did for them.

Also, Darius might have overheard Hunter talking to Flapjack about his lie to Darius, would come out behind him which scared Hunter really bad, and then we get the same ending as that episode.

Afterwards Hunter would go to meet up with Williow, Gus and the other members of the Emerald Entrails so they would hang out. For one of those visits/hangouts, Viney would bring the Blight Twins which the Blight boy and Hunter get along pretty well. To the point where Hunter starts hanging out with him separately from the rest of the group and talk to him most of the time on Pinstagram. Edric would also talk to Hunter about how his mother treats him and his sisters which Hunter would (not so) strangely relate to but wouldn't tell him anything about how Belos treats him when no one is around.

Then Hallow Mind happens, Hunter gets a panic attack and runs out of the Owl House which really worries Luz so, already knowing about Hunter's close relationship with the Emerald Entrails and the Blight Twins, she texts the EE member and the Blight twins in a group chat about Hunter running from the Owl House into the woods which they would all respond that they be on the lookout for him as well as let her know if they find him.

Then one day while Gus is at school, he spots a red cardinal that he recognizes as Flapjack taking a thrown away sandwich and flying off with it, which Gus follows the bird to find Hunter who immediately tries to hide the real reason why he is here, still haven't completely taken in what he saw in Belos's mindscape. Similar to canon, Gus gives Hunter his lunch, but Gus is a lot more concerned for Hunter and tells him that after class, they'll talk more about what is going on with the other Emerald Entrail members which Hunter hesitantly agrees to. Then when the coven scout tries to secretly give coven sigils to the students and Edric is the first unknowing participant. Edric gets magical tug by some unknown witch’s yellow colored magic that pulls him away from the coven scout before they grabbed his wrist and afterwards Gus reveals what the coven scouts were trying to do.

Once Hunter meets up with the students in the medical wing(?), Edric is the first to notice him and immediately gets up to hug him, happy to know that he's alright, before Em tells him to sit still so she can heal his wounds. When Principal Bump and the other students as well as staff interrogate Hunter about where Gus is and don't show any signs of believing that he is telling the truth when he says that Gus was just with him, the remaining members of the EE and the Blight twins quickly come to his defends. Edric even tells them that Hunter had to have been the one who got him out of the way when the coven scout was trying to put the force the coven sigil on him which everyone either in shocked or were very skeptical about Ed's claim until Hunter (using Flapjack in his staff mode) uses magic to lift a box of medical supplies, showing that his magic had that same yellow coloring as the magic that pulled Edric away from the coven scout before stating that he overheard their plan and just couldn't bring himself to just do nothing while blushing shyly which made Edric blush a little as Willow, Skara, Viney and Emira were all giving each other knowing glances.

I also like to think that during the fight, Hunter notices a coven scout was about to grab Edric from behind and gets Ed out of the way before giving the scout a hard kick to the face which dazes them. Hunter quickly asks Edric if he's alright and Ed (after snapping himself out of his daze from being rescued by his crush) tells Hunter that he's fine thanks to him but that they should talk after the fight is over which Hunter agrees to.

After the fight is over, Edric is the first to immediately go to Hunter and hugs him, stating that he's really happy to see that he's alright which makes the blonde blush as he returns the hug while smiling. Once Edric breaks the hug, he starts asking Hunter questions about what happened with Belos that made him run from the Owl House and had Luz so worried about him that she texted him, Em and the EE. Hunter, after taking a deep breath, tells him as well as everyone else about real reason for the Day of Unity and about Belos's plans for the Demon realm's witchy inhabitance. He also separately tells Edric bits and pieces about what else he saw in Belos's mindscape and that if he goes back to the castle, Belos will do something awful to him since Belos knows that he was in his mindscape. Seeing Hunter's shaken state, Edric comforts Hunter and tells the blonde that he'll make sure Belos won't ever hurt him again.

When Luz is talking to Amity in the balcony scene (you know the one ;) ), Hunter goes to talk to Edric who is very happy to see the blonde. Hunter pretty much tells him about their plans to stop Belos which Edric insists on going too, not wanting anything to happen to Hunter. Hunter tries to convince Edric that he should stay away where it's safer for him but knows that when Ed has something in mind, he'll stubbornly follow it no matter what. So, he agrees to having Edric and Emira come with them when they confront their mom and try to stop the Draining Spell (which is what I wished had happened with the twins *sighs* but you know). Edric, happy that he's coming along to help and without thinking, gives Hunter a forehead kiss which makes the blonde's face get so red and so warm that you could practically see steam coming off of his face. Edric, upon realizing what he just did, tries to apologize to Hunter about kissing him on the forehead while Hunter reassures him that it's fine, the two of them blushing bright red.

When the Draining Spell got started and all of the coven members are being drained of their magic, Amity goes to her dad after Alador falls thanks to the Draining Spell making him weaker while Hunter goes to Darius who is laying on the ground, trying to see if he's alright. Emira goes to Amity while Edric goes to Hunter, telling them that they should go try to stop the Draining Spell while they stay here to see if they can help the people who are being drained. Amity nods and goes to find Luz while Hunter has a harder time leaving Darius until Edric reassures him that he's not going to let anything happen to Darius. Hunter nods and promises him that Ed will be the first person that he looks for once this is all over before leaving a blushing Edric yelling out that he'll holding him to it.

Willow in this episode 🤣💕

Like she's always been seen as the more responsible one but this makes her so third dimensional and I love it!! Amity and vee are just like "you are not going out in public like that" but willow and Gus are all here for it, and oop is that some huntlow I see 🤨🤭 this gives friend group vibes, and Wich they are but it's not always shown like this. it's great to see them being actual teenagers.

I love amity I swear!!!!!But you can't deny it's funny when she falls. 😂

This little montage is just cute, also you can't blame amity here she used to work at a library, she usually knows what she's doing and is a natural in scenarios like this but human library's are things she's not so used to.

I think Gus has dropped his mission on reconnecting with giraffes.🦒

It's funny how they're all terrified of going to see the giraffes, it's also sweet to see all of them remembering they're families when seeing a dad with his family in the distance it's something they all(except vee) relate to. Gus and his dad willow and her dads and then of course amity with her dad and siblings, And any/all moments like that hit my heart ❤️

Why.........just.....*sniff*.*sniff*... Get my owl family together please 🥺 ok so like what do you think luz's palisman is going to be, I've seen theories of it being a bird,bat, snake, and otter. For me it's between bat and snake. Also the glyph doing something had me very intrigued the first time around.

Found family is one of my favorite Troupes.

If you haven't already guessed from the way I freak out over Luz, Eda and king I love found families. Now I see hunters found family being mainly with Darius, of course with his sibling dynamic with Luz and Gus, and a bit of a connection with Eda and Raine. But this is amazing, hunter finally has a family that will only grow with time and it's too sweet for my heart ❤️🥺

Y'know with these sorta scenes I usually feel a whole lot of second hand embarrassment, but in this I didn't instead I found it quit entertaining. Camila having a fandom she was in just like Luz does, along with a whole closet filled with merch,cosplays, etc. Is adorable and I just enjoyed her reaction here.😌

Okay I’m gonna try and put together my prediction for a timeline:

I HAVE NOT WATCHED FOR THE FUTURE YET PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL IT IN REPLIES!!!!

Also, this only has stuff in the trailer, so I’m tagging it with spoilers, but there aren’t really any. I’m putting it under the cut because it’s super long stjrsjsrs

Episode opens similarly to TTT

So we go back to the DOU. The Collector goes and does whatever they did to the coven heads next. There may be a brief fight (I doubt they could fight for long in that condition), or they never even wake up from the spell and wake up to being used as a puppet.

Based on King’s outfit (by which I mean not wearing those robes), I think this also happens on the DOU. The Collector recogonizes Eda/The Owl Beast, and doesn’t put the weird mind control on her (or tries and it doesn’t work, which could be why Collectors are supposed to lock up all Flying or Swimming things so they last (I think that’s what the book said)). Eda doesn’t win, maybe because she too, was weakened by the spell, and lost an arm (and the collector is crazy powerful), or The Collector vaugely threatens King (or Eda thinks he does and wants to keep King safe). She either ends up locked up by where the coven geads are later seen, or is able to barely escape, but not save King.

Lilith gets away somehow. Maybe the BATTs do too, and I think Hooty? Lilith has a different outfit and way shorter hair, so she must be able to originally get away. Since Eda also does it’s possible she initially gets away. Not many others get away from the DOU.

The parents of the Hexsquad may think the kids are either dead or under the Collector’s influence, since they were last known to be in the area.

Side note: The Collector being called a collector and being trapped in something strongly resembling a pokeball is hilarious to me rn.

Anyway, credits play (or just the show name), and it cuts to the Hexsquad. They do they’re little thing in the forest from all of the New Years promo stuff. If the palisman thing is a trick of the Collector, this happens now, letting the rest of the hexsquad understand the situation a bit better. Since I think they’ll be by the Clawthorne ruins at first, they are in the forest, so all the foresty stuff happens. If the palisman is actually hatching, it won’y happen in the beginning of the episode because that makes absolutely no sense.

I think this is the first place they would go, just to see what’s left and regroup. Some of them may need medical attention *cough* Hunter *cough*. Amity and Luz talk about what happened in the Human Realm/Amity tries to comfort her, maybe Willow finallly does something since she was barely in the last episode. Maybe Gus and Hunter can finally have the Grimwalker/Belos’s memories talk? They decide to go see what’s happening in Bonesbourough/see who they can find/see their parents. I think Willow and Gus live in town, so their parents would be there.

That being said, Amity and Camila are fighting someone in a cave, which could happen more towards the beginning if they are tracking Belos.

Belos has a head start, so he goes back to his stupid cave that he used to live in 300 years ago. He opened it with a glyph combo so I think its his old cave. Can’t exactly have people coming across your genocide plans. I think this episode will be more about the Collector and King, while Belos plans for the finale. I know the blurb says he is also going after the collecor, so maybe this is him regrouping. idk what he’s doing. Maybe he’s hoping he left a palisman in the freezer a couple hundred years ago before he moved out.

Okay the next couple of things happen some time in the middle but idk in what order:

King reads the story to The Collector/we get Collector lore. It seems like there are a bunch of them.

From the handwriting at the bottom, it seems to me like The Collector does not exactly fit in with the other Collectors/disagrees and just wants to play. Also, the last line about wiping everything really concerns me.

Whatever happens to Hooty happens. This could have happened in the beginning and Lilith is just seeing it now which could be for a few reasons:

1. King, who has Hooty manages to escape with Eda

2. Eda gets a hold of him and shows her

However, it is also very possible that this happens now. What’s interesting is that King has Hooty in this shot:

which seems to be Eda trying to rescue King or escape. I would imagine this happens later in the episide as almost a penultimate fight, or a secondary fight while the main fight at hexside is happening, but it’s hard to tell. Either way, I think Eda and Lilith have been camping out somewhere together and this is their daring plan to save King (and maybe the kids if they don’t know where they are). Also, Eda’s curse is starting to come out. And short hair!!

Also, it lowkey looks like the grom tree in the background, so maybe grom is here? The goop thing in the poster looks a lot like grom, and there’s a picture of grom in the memory room later in the trailer.

They go to Hexside where everyone is hanging out.

They look through Luz’s memories for knowledge of Philip Wttebane. I think I saw someone say that they could be looking for that glyph combo he used to get them into the Titan’s skull, where The Collector’s castle seems to be. This gets interrupted by whatever the Collector’s doing. Also, that spider is slitghtly concerning.

Callback to grom, with the grom monster, who I think is going to make a callback in this episode in some way. Maybe in the end of the episode?

Meanwhile, Hunter and Willow are out and about doing some Huntlowy things. They seem to be in town when The Collector and King arrive, so idk what they’re doing.

They arrive in Bonesbourough. Idk why King looks sort of mad. Bump tries to hold them off, but fails, Boom attack, something happens that totally changes things, idk.

I also have no idea what Belos is doing this whole time. Idk what his next plan is, or litterally anything about what the hell he’s trying to do at this point.
