Was it even Jin's video that got posted???
I've been staring and trying to make sense of the angles in Keng's office for the past hour so I decided to do a write up and see if I can make sense of it... something is WEIRD.
Tumblr media
WARNING: this post contains screenshots of SA, all those will be below the cut:
So when we as the audience are shown the shots of Keng and Non, we're shown two different angles. The first one, when Jin first opens the door, is of Keng and Non's legs. The second is of their heads/faces.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In earlier episodes we're shown a bit more of the layout of Keng's office, shown here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But the angles just... don't make sense? When you analyze them. Like for example, here's what we see in episode 6 when Non comes to see Keng. The angle shown is of Non leaning decently far into the room, and then still only being able to see Keng above the barrier
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When the video is uploaded to social media, we see this as the thumbnail, which appears to be shot at a low angle BETWEEN the two barriers. But that angle doesn't make sense when shot from the door.
Tumblr media
You can see it in this shot of Jin recording, it looks like the extruding corner is in the way of whatever he's shooting.
Tumblr media
Not to mention, in the shot of Non showing up to that office, the book shelf is pretty obtrusive of the view of what's happening. It seems like, in order for the shot of their heads to be what's shown in the thumbnail, the person would've had to be further into the room
Tumblr media
Add on to that, the couch itself is way too small for someone to be able to see around the barrier one way AND the other way. So basically it was impossible for someone at Jin's angle to see BOTH the legs around one end of the barrier AND the heads around the other.
Tumblr media
With the corners, the bookshelf, and the angle in mind, it seems to me that the only angle it makes sense for Jin to have seen and recorded without going further into the room is that of the legs, not their faces...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Especially since he records low, but the thumbnail picture is basically the same height as the couch... which to me, looks lower than where Jin is holding the camera
Tumblr media
Conclusion: ????
Honestly I'm not sure. Maybe this was just BOC getting clever with their angles and shooting and they didn't think people would dissect the layout of the room this hard. I AM sure that Jin could only reasonably see the legs or the faces and not both.
And as I said above, the angle of the door and bookshelf and barriers lead me to believe that Jin could've only really seen their legs But then that brings up the question of how did Jin even know it was Non? He's angry enough that it seems like he did... unless he's angry in a completely different direction and is mad that a teacher is taking advantage of a student, but that doesn't seem to fit either, since the anger on his face seems personal...
Plus I want to bring this back. Top saw Keng and Non together and texted Tee that he knew where Non got the money. They could've guessed or spied on them to guess what Keng asked for in exchange. And who has the money to set up a hidden camera JUST to screw over Non? Por. I'm not saying that's definitely what happened, but Por HATES Non and wanted to get rid of him. I don't doubt Por/Top/Tee would hesitate to release that tape of Non if they got the opportunity...
Tumblr media
I'm definitely grasping at straws, but something about this whole situation doesn't feel right. Jin isn't shown to post the video himself, in fast there's discrepancies from what's shown on his computer screen vs what's shown of the person uploading the video.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Changing a computer from light mode to dark mode is incredibly easy so I don't know why they would've left a mistake like that instead of fixing it in post-production. Plus it looks to me like Jin is looking at the already-posted video and crying over it, not that he's posting it himself (first screenshot is from the BTS for this episode btw).
I've been on the "Jin didn't post the video" train the entire time for a couple of reasons:
Jin isn't shown to click the button, only sit at his laptop, cry, and then eventually spill alcohol on it and short it out. If the writers wanted us to hate Jin then they would've just shown him posting it so that we could deal with the fact that he's a shit person. They didn't do that, so I don't think that Jin posted the video.
Because in episode 4, Flukes yells at Tee that he knows what they did, and he names both the broken camera AND the released video... but Jin wasn't present in this scene. Why yell it at Tee if Jin is the one who both took the video and posted it?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But with the question of all the angles shown and the doorway and bookshelf it makes me wonder... was the video even Jin's?

There should be an option for self shippers to let other self shippers know if they are blocked for sharing reasons so the blocked person isn’t wondering if they did something wrong or not when trying to follow.
Like I understand blocking is there for self shippers to have a more pleasant shipping experience without having to see doubles. And that’s okay to do so! It just would be a nice thing to confirm the reason of it being because of doubles instead of the blocked person worrying if they did something bad when they didn’t.

In the past week, I've come out as aroace to my family. Here's a couple thoughts I had on how that went
Almost immediately my sis was like "Like Yelena from Black Widow?" and my dad was like "Like Todd from Bojack Horseman?" And I was able to say' yes, like that' which help explained a lot of the basic stuff to them. It was the perfect example of how representation is important and introduces people to new identities/ideas that could become relevant in their lives. Idk I thought it was really interesting how they both immediately thought of fictional characters they had seen with that identity. Representation is important, people!
The second thing is after I had explained everything, my dad said, "So that narrows your dating pool quite a bit, doesn't it? You have to find someone who doesn't like sex or romance," and I said "....yesss..." bc I was thinking of qprs but I'm still not 100% sure he understands lol

my favourite thing about post-Seine slow burn valvert fics is when javert enters what I will affectionately refer to as his ‘guard dog’ phase. After he’s realised he sort of likes Valjean but he’s incapable of being nice about it so all of his care and consideration comes out as aggressive over-protection. It’s especially good when paired up with Valjean’s self destructive behaviour and end of book sickness: Valjean is so sure everyone would be better off without him and javerts like ‘no bitch - you stole my death from me and now I’m returning the favour.’

songs like early sunsets over monroeville, desert song and demolition lovers are so genuinely my chemical romance. the somber guitar. gerard’s soft vocals building up throughout the songs until he just. breaks. growls. yells and screams. throws all musicality and semblance of control over his own voice right into the wind. it’s beautiful, cathartic and it’s completely, juxtaposingly angry. mcr was a band built on tragedy. despite the tragedy. built spite and being in terms with all that shit. embracing the hysteria and the ugly, the human and the dyspeptic. and it’s unapologetic, and real, how i like most things. they shoved that in your faces. and it spoke to people. gave them voices. something to yell to in collective outrage. and continues to this day to be a comfort zone. i truly love my chemical romance.

So many people view Nate's storyline this season as a 'redemption arc' and think his so-called redemption is tied to his relationship with Jade. They're right to think that would be toxic - here's why it isn't. Nate's arc isn't about redemption, it's about realization. This season tackles mental health head-on, and what we're seeing with Nate is the process of realizing his worth. Doing internal work and removing himself from a toxic environment & Rupert's control.
If you're someone who's struggled with insecurities, having a partner who brings out those hidden parts of you, the smile you've lost, is all part of helping you to realize your worth.
He's standing up for himself now. That internal struggle when he saw Beard, Ted & Henry at the West Ham match shows that he now knows where he should be - and who he really is. Nate is his most authentic self around the people tied to Richmond. It's only a matter of time until he heads back to Nelson Road, to the people that truly appreciate him.

i know the drama is happening in a different (and super mainstream) fandom, but all these bound fanfics for sale is making me so angry
it also makes me grateful for the hbo war fandom because we're small, and pretty close-knit, so anyone looking to profit off of a stolen fic would probably be promptly shut down
but my heart hurts for the future of fandom every time something like this happens, and we take these massive steps back
fanfic is supposed to fun and it is supposed to be free
failure to keep it that way puts us all at risk

This might piss some people off but it really feels like Sylvie doesn't need or want Loki in her life romantically, or even platonically. She seems perfectly content to be by herself and doesn't seem desire to be in a romantic relationship, with anyone. She's hit that point of it's me time, i'm focusing on me, on my happiness, on my well-being, and dating is not on my mind at all. Look at all their interactions in this season. It's always him going to her, reaching out to her, and she always walks away in the end. Even in the latest episode, at the bar when she's the most serene I've ever seen her, it all seemed like a final goodbye for her, closure, telling him to move forward with his life as she's doing with hers. And then she picks up her stuff and walks away.

You know the thing about BOE is like they're supposed to be descendants of trillionaires but like did they really take 0 servants with them? Is it possible on those ships John couldn't reach there were working class people taken along so the trillionaires didn't have to get their hands dirty?

ok so I was thinking about how since Eridians live for much much longer than humans (I think the book said 600 human years?) and since Ryland would have obviously died on Erid what would they do with his body? (because obviously they're not just gonna keep it there) Would they bury/cremate him? Would they give him Eridian funeral/ do to him what they do to Eridians who have died?
Also, since Ryland must have known he was going to die there and would die long before Rocky, would he have gone over what he'd want to happen to him after he died? Would he donate his body to science for Eridian doctors to study?
and what happens during Eridian funerals anyway? What do they do to their companions/loved ones when they pass away?
AHHH SO MANY WHAT IFS!!! SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!

So. There's a good probability that's Leo's going to die if/when they have to choose eggs to save if the red team doesn't win.
Think about Foolish, he kept everything burried inside of him since Leo's disapperance, some people ending up believing he didn't care about her missing.
How do you think he's going to be when/if Leo dies. He's going to spiral alone, since Vegetta doesn't come, still keeping everything to himself. Do you think that people will still have the impression that he doesn't care ?
He'll just probably rarely ever go to the dragon, where Leo's room is becoming a sanctuary for himself.

i know that this is like. a trauma thing but at my core i still believe the only reason people keep me around is because i am doing something for them. whether that's having good grades to make my mother happy, giving myself up emotionally to make my ex happy, being the pity project for people who tell me "none of those things are true we can fix you" just to realise they ARE true and there's no fixing them.
and obviously that also spills over into fandom stuff. i need to be providing something or people will hate me and bully me out because giving people smth they like doesn't make them like me (in my head) it just makes them tolerate me because i'm a horrible person to be around.
so if there's nothing i can give to them they dont want me and i cant even be mad because who would want to be around a horrible person

Thinking about it from a toy perspective-
Tumblr media
This bit here is often the bit that's like, the brand or the show or the specific line of toy right?
So I'm currently entertaining the idea that this is like. I'm not sure how to phrase this but imagine that the entirety of the qsmp we know is like "The Federation" version of "Enjoy The Island", and that there might be multiple different versions of "Enjoy The Island" all with their own different gimmick and stories
Not quite like a multiverse (though it could be) but perhaps more like there are multiple islands under the "Enjoy The Island" name

is rosa getting sick? does she die at the end of the game?
I was playing the current event in which they get into the mobius and there's this thing about the mining business and I have been thinking.
at the beginning of the event, rosa is not in her best shape, is she? she's having a nightmare and is seemingly overly tired. she slept while they discussed things related to the case and they all insisted on her going back to sleep when she woke up. at first I had regarded it as male lead behaviour, but as the event progress there is this constant worry from the male leads in relation to rosa. even as I was doing those tasks from miller, every time rosa met luke he would ask if she was tired and insist upon her resting/taking a break. every time rosa met artem, he would ask if she was going to eat. and there was this time rosa encountered the two of them worrying about her together and caught them off guard. and the male leads aren't really mates, are they? above all when rosa is concerned. and to think they felt the need to discuss her heath with each other makes me feel this is not a little thing. I think rosa is sick. and the boys are worried.
it makes me think of the preview when you first start playing tot and how rosa kept "passing out" to transition from one male lead to another — I first thought that it was just for the effects, but what if it wasn't? what if it really is an effect of something going on with her? the fact that she couldn't talk to any of the male leads could be alluding to that. and that artem is standing over a grave, too.

So like. The name 'Michael' right.
Who is like God? (Rhetorical question, read: There's no one like God)
Gift from God
Who is like God (seems to be an uncommon reading of the name)
Mikey wanted to make a new delinquent era like his brother did before him. He follows his brother's footprints and immensely looks up to him and how he did things. But he never succeeded to achieve the same accomplishments as Shinichiro, at least from his point of view.
So, 'there is no one like God' because he can't be like Shinichiro (but 'who is like God' because he did succeed to do the same as him by taking over Kanto/Japan)
And, in the same train of thoughts, Shinichiro is the one who gifted Mikey (he's the one who raised him, the one to have make him wants to be a delinquent, the reason why he's alive, ...)
