as a jesse stan first and human being second, el camino is making me tear up not even 10 minutes in
#poor jesse :(#also his friends are great#like sure they all push drugs but like that doesn't make them bad friends or bad people#especially in jesse's case where all the bad things he's done have been due to manipulation and shit#idk if badger or skinny pete have like DONE anything like jesse has so i can't make calls on that#the three of them are very empathetic and try to be good people#dealing meth is bad bc it can create v bad situations and meth totally fucks you up but like#they're good people#and i like how the show makes it more complicated than just hhhhh they're drug dealers#and actually delves into their morals and shit#they do what they do because they feel like it's the only thing they're good at and they can't get jobs because of the huge gap in their#employment history and lack of degrees#andat least in badger's case he has a rap sheet so he's hard pressed to get a job#and they're all addicts and or in recovery themselves so they're just as much victims as the other addicts yk?#i really like the arc where pete and badger try to go clean. did a great job demonstrating jesse's guilt and anger and fear as well as#the reality the 3 are living in#it hurt but it was very well done
