#sometimes i feel like it is valuable to recognize how much thought was likely put into something from a creator standpoint#like if it's clear something was definitely not meticulously planned or well thought out by the creators/writers#i think it's valuable as a fan to simply accept that and take it for what it is#and ik everyone enjoys media differently obv do whatever makes you happiest#but the thing that's helped me most is recognizing i don't have to care that much when the creators clearly didn't lol#it is okay to turn your brain off and simply vibe and not take everything super seriously#and this is coming from someone who lives to analyze shit honestly that is fun and i do think it contributes positively a lot of the time#but i think ultimately there's a point where you just have to take what's been given to you and not try to make sense of it or rationalize i#to some nth degree#that can suck the joy out of things and it just doesn't feel necessary all the time#idk this is how i enjoy shows w questionable writing lol i am in it for pure vibes#i've made peace w things being shitty and not making sense sometimes and that's that
