I think we’re seeing more finn hate because we all grew brains. Upon first watch, didn’t give a damn about him. He was annoying and irritating and didn’t interest me. But now. Now that I’m older and maybe wiser, I see finn for what he is. A waste of skin.

I was mostly talking about my own feelings in particular as I was previously very willing to counterbalance anti stuff with "he had potential tho" and so on but have come to terms with the fact that I just plain hate Finn and can't really care about potential when what we actually got was so bad.

But I'm happy more people are critical of his character and of what his framing says about the show, and I'm glad to contribute to those convos. I still wanna mostly do that instead of plain hate and hopefully that can help engage people in critical conversations about Glee. And hey if the end result is that people hate his guts, lol, it's meant to be.
