I HAVE ONE OBJECTION TO YOUR OTHERWISE STELLAR META ON THE DOJO SCENE/RUBY'S BREAKDOWN!
I would say as of recent there is now one other character *besides* Oscar who takes notice of how much Ruby is struggling and breaking, who uplifts and comforts her without placing any expectations on her in the process... That of course being Little.
The only one still with Ruby. (*gestures to Little being framed in Jinxy's jar of hope that Ruby can't fill all the way, because Little is meant to represent the last spark of Ruby's hope and inner child*)
I don't think they'll have the perfect wise or uplifting words to say to Ruby (and I'm not sure she'd want to hear them right now anyway, she just needs to feel what she's feeling and let the rain pour, metaphorically and literally). But I imagine if Ruby asks them why Little is still with her, why don't they just leave her alone, and Little saying that they just want to be there for Ruby because she's sad, and because Ruby is their friend, and they don't know what else they can do for her. And that's all. And then Ruby will cry and I'll cry and we all will cry.
Also this ask may just be an excuse to share a headcanon I have, of if Little returns with Ruby to Remnant, that Oscar makes food for everyone to celebrate their return, and also gifts a tiny picnic basket especially for Little and says something like: "thank you for being Ruby's guide when she was feeling lost" because she was lost physically but also *felt* lost too and just. Little has taken on the purpose to be Ruby's guide, and I think that's going to apply in more ways than just helping her get back home.

Before I do get into it, do want to just acknowledge that what you mentioned about how Little might handle this is absolutely all that Ruby needs right now. I've seen some discussions around about people saying WBY haven't supported Ruby enough (valid, as are their reasons for not being able to) but the counter argument is often that they can't force her to dump about her trauma and it's like... no. Secret hidden third option. Just give her some time to rest, acknowledge how hard this is on her and how much this sucks without sugar coating it, and remind her that you're there to lean on if she needs it. I really hope that she gets that from Little in the coming episode(s).
BUT YES. SPEAKING OF LITTLE. YOU ARE CORRECT. They stuck by Ruby's side in the market when her team ran off and were paying such close attention to her after they first noticed how sad she was in the paper vilage.
It's hard to catch, but I'm also fairly certain Little is the first to call out to her when she starts hallucinating against the walker. It's timed just as Little jumps up and it's just ahhhhh. YOU'RE JUST A MOUSE!!! WHY ARE YOU BEING BRAVE AND PEEKING OUT OF HER HOOD RIGHT NOW!!!
We don't see them for the entire breakdown scene before it ends with a zoom in on this. Which is just... oof...
Also I know that Little is first and foremost supposed to be a symbol for Ruby's remaining spark of hope and inner child, the literal "Little" Riding in her Red Hood... but i can't get the parallels of that mouse to Oscar outta my brain. 💀
Cinder and Nora have both called Oscar 'little'. Little Prince. Oscar paid attention to Ruby back in v6 when she said "Food always makes me feel better" and so after her confrontation with Jaune, he went and made her a freaking casserole about it. And what is one of the first things Little does upon meeting Ruby? Offer to share their food with her when she's upset. And they, just like Oscar, were the only one paying attention enough to how hard of a time she was having.

Little: Well... I guess I've never spoken to a you before!

Just to expand on S7′s unwillingness to challenge the audience on Spike... it’s such a frustrating season for me, as a fan of Spike’s character, because like so much of the season it is so close to something so interesting, but refuses to actually go there.
Seeing Spike with a soul is so potentially rich, because it’s not something we’ve ever seen on the show before. Angel’s situation was different - not because of anything magically different about his soul, but the fact that we are first introduced to Angel and get attached to Angel, before the sudden turn to Angelus. The soul canon is irrelevant - what matters is that Angel with a soul is a different character to Angel with a soul. He acts different, he talks different, he dresses different - he’s a different character. So when he gets his soul back, it’s easy for the audience to see that as simply a reversion to the original character they already knew.
Whereas Spike’s story is a bit more interesting, because the character the audience has experienced for five seasons is a Spike without a soul. That’s the character we love and have grown attached to. When you give that character a soul, you can’t do an Angelus and have him act like a completely different character. He has to be recognisably Spike, as we’ve known him. He has to be the same person or we will not care about the character. So that opens up this incredibly fascinating territory to explore. If Spike is the same person with or without a soul, then can he be forgiven for the crimes he committed before? Where is the line drawn when it comes to moral responibility? Or if he is different without a soul, then is he no longer Spike? Can anything he did before this point really count - including the good stuff like protecting Dawn? What about his relationship with Buffy? This is really interesting, fertile ground for storytelling and either direction you go in, the audience is going to be challenged.
And so they decide to go in neither direction. They straddle the line. They have their cake and eat it too. Spike is absolved completely of any previous crimes. The show is didactic about this - he has a soul now, so it’s fine. Yet, at the same time, there is no change in Spike as a character. He’s still basically the same. The show engineers a situation in which Spike is killing again, and yet cannot reasonably be held accountable for it - yet other characters are held accountable for how they react to it.
Nowhere is this line-hopping more apparent than in how the show approaches Nikki’s coat. The coat is an essential component of the character the audience recognises as Spike. Spike is indivisible from his iconography, and the coat is part of that. Fool For Love makes sure to soak that iconography in blood, and so make Spike’s crimes invisible from Spike. It is metaphorically a dead woman’s flayed skin. S7 then reminds us of this history through Robin, and the pain he experiences seeing a man in his mother’s metaphorical flayed skin. And Get it Done doubles down on this - the coat is tied to this idea of the “old Spike”, the person who tried to kill Buffy. The person who killed Nikki. And yet, when it comes to confronting Robin, the show is insistent on this Spike being new and different. He has a soul now.
So which is it? Are we going to get rid of this piece of iconography because it represents “old Spike” (challenging!)? Or are we going to keep it and have Spike literally shoulder his old crimes (challenging!). What they do is neither. He doesn’t need to feel guilty about anything he’s done, but he gets to keep the coat because it looks cool. It does not explore the tension of that, because it’s not interested in risking the audience liking Spike less. The show’s stance is vague - and not so that the show can explore the ambiguities, but so that in any given situation, Spike can always be in the right. I don’t care if he is or not - I care that this approach is deeply boring.
It’s so frustrating. Spike is a deeply complex character who has always existed to to challenge the audience on what they thought they knew about vampires, and love, and the soul. Yet at all opportunities, S7 refuses to say anything challenging about Spike, and so avoids any stories that are actually you know, interesting.

honestly clothes sharing? severely underrated. seb picking up a big soft jumper from the laundry chair and like shrugging-- okay so it has a daisy on it, it isn't that different from his usual sweaters (it really is). it smells just like lewis, he was wearing it yesterday before he had to leave for the airport in a smarter outfit and if seb subtly (that man hasn't done anything subtly in his life) turns his head into his shoulder, he can catch his cologne perfectly--
and lewis calling just as seb goes to close the door to start the class and he steps outside for a sec and asks if lewis got there alright and tells him he'll speak to him in a few hours and then the students can hear a very quiet i love you too before he slips back into the room, rosy cheeked! but also imagining lewis finally getting to his hotel room and meticulously hanging up his clothes and then collapsing into the armchair or onto the bed because he misses seb already. and he'll send him another selfie and ask for one back-- one of the earliest not-arguments that lewis won. they always call before one of them has to go to sleep (whoever is in the ahead timezone), even if for only a minute! and that day when lewis sends a pic of his outfit seb sends one back and lewis is !!!!! about how good seb looks in his jumper! it's too big in the shoulders! he looks so cuddly and soft!

So, like... I hope this official enough to not be spoilers, but with the way that RTD is coming back and how there is suddenly a continuation of the Big Finish Rose Tyler: Dimension Cannon volumes (with the second releasing three years after the first, and the same month of Chibnall's last ep), do you think that there's any chance at all that we might get some glimpse of actual Rose? Maybe a tiny look at her life with Tentoo or even past her popping up somewhere with the Dimension Cannon?
hiiiii nonny, sorry it took me so long to answer, but my short answer is 'yes, i think there's a chance' and my long answer is 'yes, i think there's a chance, and i'm nervous about it'
i know there's always this desire for characters to return and i definitely feel it myself, but i also... already didn't particularly like rose's ending—i know this is controversial, and newer followers may not know this about me, oops—so i'm having a hard time imagining where exactly they'd go with her story that i'd really truly be fulfilled by....... rtd works hard, but my imagination works harder, you know?
like, don't get me wrong. i want billie back for the ep, i want fun doctorrose moments—dammit, i want a thirteenrose kiss like i want air, despite the fact that it'll literally never happen. i'm just nervous that they'll solidify her story in a direction i... won't like. (though it'd no doubt make loads of other people happy, and that's great!)
i think the most likely angle would be a parallel rose situation. flinging together donnas and roses and marthas (i am wishing with all my might!!!!) from different timelines has the potential to be very fun, even if it wouldn't necessarily give the people what they're craving. i do think it's the easiest for rtd to work in, though, without messing up the whole trajectory of the new season or trying to reverse the ageing process on a bunch of actors.
anyway, this is all just rambling, but tl;dr—i think it's very possible, and i'm not sure how i feel about it!

To the people who apparently spent a whole day trash-talking me and wishing i deactivate:
Bad news for you, I'm not going anywhere. Tumblr is as mine as it's yours and if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe around me, it's your own responsibility to block me and disengage instead of talking about how terrible it is that i'm here minding my own business.
Because you know disengaging is enough to get rid of me. I'm not 10 years old, I'm 35 and i'm way past school bully behavior like going to somebody's account to tell them off, especially unprompted. I actually was already way past school bully behavior when i was in school. I don't even know who most of you are and i don't want to know you either. If you think you have to choose between sending me hate and blocking me, choose the second. For your own good, because being so bitter 24/7 is bad for anybody, but also because any hate i get, I'm just gonna report it and block the user. You're not getting personal clout from me. If you think you're safer by blocking me, then by all means, block me! That's perfect! That's curating your tumblr experience, which is what i encourage actually. I'm a random adult on the internet, not one of the specific adults responsible of your wellbeing. You're not my responsibility, so it's up to you to do what you need to do to feel comfortable here, not to me.
This is the last I'm gonna say in this matter until these people start badmouthing or harassing others again (because i know they will). And when they do, I'm gonna stand for their victims, because that's what i do, stand for what i think is fair.
Just remember: fandom is a hobby, not activism. You don't get to consume your way to moral superiority, especially if your actions are awful.
