I have a weird feeling that these two would hate each other's guts when they first meet, but eventually become full-on ~trauma besties~
Tumblr media
(These two wet cat men are Doug Eiffel (Wolf 359) and Jonathan Sims (TMA), by the way)
Some ranting below-
Okay, so. These two pods cannot be so different, yet sooo similar cuz of how good they are. Here's my opinions on both so far. (That no one wants to hear)
I'd finished Wolf 359 about a month ago and my. god. It just- it had everything and more that the nerd part of my brain wants from a space story. Great characters, good stories, wayyy too many sci fi references, and of course- trauma~. (+ humor)
As of this post, I just reached episode 100 of The Magnus Archives and tbh, my adhd brain can't remember every single episode's story so- I'm a bit confused 'bout the plot. STILL, this show is one of the best I've listened to. The characters, stories and world building are just unbelievably good.
Like, can you imagine the skills Jonny Sims must have to write such captivating stories for EACH and EVERY episode....
I know they both have very different stories but- the characters, world building, comedy and horror make both of them amazing audio dramas.
I'm currently working on this idea for a Wolf 359 comic thing and will be posting more on TMA soon.
If anyone's reading this and has more podcast recommendations, please do share ;)
