Coeli's comment: "Wowza!"

The pre-code era strikes again, with Travis Banton as the designer. The slinky, low-cut gown with spiderweb wrap in the bottom photo looks positively demure next to the costume she's almost wearing in the other photos. In Tira's defense, she is a circus sideshow performer. However, it's not too hard to see why this movie was cited as one of the factors leading to the implementation of the Hays Code.

"It's not the men in your life that counts, it's the life in your men!": Advertisement for a Hollywood gay-themed film fest featuring a revival midnight screening of Mae West's "I'm No Angel," likely from the early '60s. Note the positioning of physique model Ed Fury as an obvious selling point for the intended audience. I'm not certain that Fury was one of Ms West's chorus boys, but he would star in Italian Strongman epics like several of them did, and she did crown him "Mr. Hercules" in a 1958 Hollywood beefcake beauty pageant.

Hi hello please help solve a Supernatural mystery that has broken me and @drunknoah

The Official Supernatural calendar has a quote this month that says "Getting killed is something, all right". The actual quote in 9x03 by Sam is "Yeah I mean, I would think that getting killed is something" No 'all right' to be found. Googling the calender quote only brings up 5 results that are all Etsy etc stores with the same shirt/mug with that exact quote. I can't find any old script or promo or anything that has that quote. Did the calender get their quotes from an Etsy shop? It has BROKEN my BRAIN.

#month after month this calendar causes me psychic damage but this one has truly broke me #i genuinely cant understand where this came from #i know its only an additional 2 words but that fact that a handful of shirts and then an OFFICIAL 2023 calendar has the same butchered quote #from a 2013 episode is weird right????#I've searched the script collecting tumblrs. old promos. even jarpads live tweets from the ep.
