apropos of nothing (this is a lie) here’s a picrew i made of sadie for reference of what she looks like the fic. i didn’t like the exact shade of green offered, so this is actually her a few days before the fic starts, when her hair is still purple. (for those who do not read the fic, it takes place a couple years after the end of tkc and i decided sadie would have started dying more and more of her hair over time.)

one of my least favorite sadie headcanons is that she straitens her hair. sadie has a big paragraph in the first book where she talks about how she stands out at school because she’s mixed race and and american who isn’t really american, so she dyes her hair and wears combat boots to give them something to look at. you think that girl does anything to look more white?
